Went for a late night bite with some friends, a small joint but they pack a lot in. It's a seat yourself type of place so get comfy. Servers were nice and quick to make sure our waters were filled. Mac and cheese bites, tots(nice and loaded) and fried cheese curds were fresh I liked them. My server hooked up the wings sorry can't share, but the mango habanero could've been spicier the sauce was pretty thin I had a pool at the bottom of my plate and a saw it with others. I LOVE Tracks and have been going there for over a decade. They have the best wings, super good apps, great staff, and a nostalgic atmosphere that's very welcoming. The ambiance inside is like an old school bar your uncle would go to, but in the best way possible - like Cheers, where you feel like everyone knows your naaaame. There is also a cute patio out front that is great for the summertime if you want to have a few drinks in the nice weather. The servers are wonderful and are always checking on you, giving recommendations, and being a little funny to make your time even better (a lot of the old school bars/lounges do not have that warm vibe). Appetizer/starter-wise, the Mac and Cheese bites are sooo good. You can get them with smoked gouda or pepper jack, but whatever you do, definitely get a side of ranch for dipping because it works so well together! The side of crunchy tots are also delicious. I am usually not a fan of super crunchy things, but the crunch on these is an exception because they are so flavorful (an also great with the aforementioned ranch). Their claim to fame is that they have "The World's Best Chicken" and it's not far off from that. I've had chicken all over Omaha (and many other states and countries), and Track's stacks up right against the best I've had. Super juicy, with a nice crunchy skin, and a high quality bird to begin with, makes it all amazing when it gets to your plate. That's the bone-in chicken that most people get, but I usually get the boneless wings (yes, I'm a child) - and they're just as good! They're breaded so not as crispy as the bone-in wings, too, which I appreciate. I love the Thai Peanut dressing on mine (and of course, the ranch yet again). (If you are loving the ranch, you can also get. A side salad with it to give those arteries a break.) This is my vote for best wings in Omaha, and this review is really just about the wings and food overall, other than that it's really just a neighborhood bar in a basement, although they do have a nice patio out front. I've had wings at most of the other local favs, and I really do think Tracks are the best, the wings are large, cooked perfectly every time, the sauce is great and if you get them char buffed they are even better. If you're on the east side of Omaha, Tracks HAS to be your wing spot. Whenever I need absolutely delicious wings I go here. I got the garlic Parmesan wings and the mild buffalo wings (both charred and double dipped) and they are so far and above any other wing place. Their wings are a bit on the pricier side but you do truly get what you pay for. I do think the word is out though, as I ordered late on a Sunday and still had to wait almost an hour for my wings to be ready to go so plan ahead better than I did! Whenever I ask folks at work who's serving the best wings in Omaha, Tracks Lounge always slides into the conversation. So I finally decided to pull up. Being completely honest -- it's a dive spot with a strong community feel. Small, packed, and full of regulars who clearly run the room. We ended up posted near the back door (not ideal), as patrons kept going in and out every 15 minutes.Distraction level: high. We looked for other seating options, but it was packed. Customer service? Solidly meh. Not bad, not great. The regulars definitely get most of the attention -- jokes, side banter, you name it. We ordered wings -- and presentation-wise, they looked promising. Taste-wise? Not terrible, but not touching "best in the city" status. Needed that Ranch assist to really show up. I've had my Tracks experience. Glad I tried it and there's obviously a reason they stay packed. We only waited a few minutes before the waitress came by to get our drink order and bring us menus, and I'm happy to say that service remained attentive throughout our visit. As a Wisconsinite, I feel morally obligated to order cheese curds when I see them on the menu. Unfortunately, these cheese curds were not great... and an itty bitty basket for $11. On to the wings... between the three of us we ordered Sweet Chili, Garlic Parmesan, and Triple Crown. Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the wings themselves as they definitely could have used a few more minutes in the fryer (slimy, fatty skin.. ew.) But I absolutely loved the Sweet Chili sauce - it had more kick and more depth of flavor than your average. We all enjoyed the Triple Crown sauce and thought it was unique, and while I didn't try the Garlic Parm, both the guys felt that it should have been just called Parmesan because it was missing some garlic (but it was still pretty good). We had a good experience at Tracks lounge. The wings are my favorite in town. Specifically the hot buffalo, garlic parm double dipped. They didn't disappoint tonight either. My in laws both got the fried chicken dinner and said it was very good but not "world's best". The cole slaw was a big hit tho. My wife got the burger and tots and said the tots were cooked perfectly and the burger was solid but I have to get her to order the wings next time. Neighborhood bar in a basement with a tight parking lot. Known for their fried chicken and wings. First time to get parking and make our way in to this tight, dark little hole in the wall. The patio seemed friendly but spring can cool quickly so we opted for a high top for two inside. Drinks came quickly, I chose their fried chicken, my other half chose a bacon and blue burger. Everyone in at the bar was chatty and enjoying themselves, fun time eavesdropping as we waited. Chicken takes a while... but oops the burger didn't come out?? Got it quite awhile after my chicken meal... it was noted on our check, a nice gesture. The chicken needed more seasoning but oooh a crispy and light coating. Spotted a two-seater high table on the bar side and went straight to it. During our meal many customers came in and waited for seating. A good percentage of families were among them. I originally ordered the chili burger but the waiter said it had a chili paste rather than actual chili, so I switched. If you like this flavor, you will not be disappointed. Their homemade ranch and blue cheese sauces hit the spot! Exactly what you want to dip your wings in. We went to the brand new location that is just a 9 minute walk from our house and it was excellent! Same wings, delicious! Same wonderful service, above and beyond! Cool vibe and build out with a nice outdoor patio. Only tips I would give the owners is the floor was a little dirty around us, pickles and fries that could cause someone to slip in the polished concrete floors. And the wheels on the chairs make one slide pretty well in said floor. So very happy to have such an Omaha institution so close to my home. Well done. read more

Two of the tables received their food in a reasonable amount of time, while our table was told the food was "almost done" and would be brought out shortly. After waiting nearly 45 minutes more--with no food--a different server came by asking if we needed boxes. When we let them know we hadn't been served yet, our original server eventually returned and admitted he hadn't even put in our order. While the restaurant did offer 50% off for our table's food, we ended up spending over 2.5 hours there, most of it waiting unnecessarily, when we could have left after 1.5 hours. The discount didn't really make up for the time wasted, or the fact that we sat watching everyone else eat. It was a disappointing experience for part of our group, especially given how preventable it was. read more

I hate when I have to downgrade for service, when the food it great, but a few service things leave me salty. 1. Ambiance as expected, place is a local dive style bar, tight squeeze, definitely not handicap accessible in the entire facility, above average cleanliness for a divebar. 2. I tried to order their 20 chicken wing lot, asked if I could divide it between 2 or 3 sauces. Was told "we don't do that" so I ended up paying the 2x full price for 10 wings to get two different sauces across 20 wings. 3. Wings were great, well cooked, juicy, good amount of meat per bone. Food was everything the reviews suggested, 5 star wings. 4. Was confused over who was actually serving the bar patrons? Yes the place is small and there isn't a lot of space, but I saw at least 6 up to 8 different people behind the bar pouring drinks, but the service for me seemed slower. Even if it was shift change, still seemed like too many cooks in the kitchen (or bartends behind the bar?). 5. As I was about to ask for my check, another patron a few stools away order "20 wings to go, half one sauce, half another" & the bartender didn't pause or stop to explain and ordering policy, this patron had already eaten wings at the bar & then ordered more to go. While I didn't get to see that customers' receipt, I suspect they got the 20 wing order size pricing, despite 2 different sauces, which I was told "we don't do that" Overall, great chicken wings that I suggest you go get immediately, & I hope your service isn't muddy or flaky as mine was. read more
