Love the atmosphere of the place. People are happy, laughing and talking. It feels like it would be a place " that everyone knows your name." We went for a burger. They were good but not the best in Omaha. There was no seasoning on the burgers. I asked for mine well done and got a medium for sure. That being said a little salt and we were good. The tomato was worth the add on price. It was delicious and thick! Would we go back? Yes! The place puts you in a good mood!

This is where you come when you want to show someone where the Omaha locals go. Cash only, great staff, AMAZING food, and well stocked bar. Dinkers is SO good! It's definitely a dive bar feel, plenty of seating and multiple TVs with sports playing. We got the Hay Stack burger (egg, ham and a patty on it with cheese) and a kiddie burger with fries! The drinks are ordered separately at the bar and one fountain drink is $3.50 with unlimited refills!

I've been back three times in the last 6 weeks. There is a definite improvement at the grill, and burgers are cooked perfectly. I haven't seen where they stack people on top of each other while waiting. Food=5.0 Service =5.0 Ambiance = 4.0 typical B&G Why 4.0 the chairs are hard on my butt!

Unfortunately I'm not sure how this is "the best burger in town"...I've made better burgers myself at home. The vibe is old school which is fine, plenty of seating and it's grab drinks at the bar and order at the counter. Cash only. Prices are fair - $9 for a burger and chips. Service was unfriendly for the most part, the server bringing refills of soda for others in our group wouldn't just grab us cups of water we had to get up and go ask the bar. Cashier was not friendly at all and didn't really answer any menu questions I had. The burger itself was dry, overcooked and sad, chips were out of a bag not handmade like I expected. The only win was the toasted bun, that was a nice touch but the bun wasn't impressive by any means either. For a very simple burger with no extras this wasn't up to my expectations at all. I expected a juicy delicious burger which I did not get. Overall, try another burger joint, this one isn't it. Glad I tried it but I won't be back.

One of the best burgers in town in my opinion. Not to mention their french fries and amazing and I mean amazing onion rings. They have a smooth system where you go to the counter and order your food .., FYI, it's cash only !! Food is brought to you at your table.. service is fast they keep your drinks filled. ! My only complaint is it very cold in there... Of course we did go on a snowy day, but every time the door opened a cool breeze went shooting clear to the back of the restaurant. Wear warm clothes if you go in the winter. We will definitely be back.!

I don't live far from Dinkers so probably should frequent it more often. Hit it up maybe once a year. Cash only but super friendly people and just a nice laid-back place to go. You have to order your food at the food counter and usually order your drink at the bar counter. No big deal. people love their burgers. I'm sure they are A-OK. I am just very picky on my burgers. They do have a decent BLT which is what I lean towards when I do visit. I prefer miracle whip on my BLT you and I may smuggle it in when I go. Fun place to stop in! Always friendly people.

Great casual place to eat! Burgers are good, and their menu spans into salads and sandwiches as well. They do NOT take cards. Cash only . ATM available inside. Service is great.

I have lived in Omaha for 20 years and never been here. First, the young man bussing and doing everything was so nice. Couldn't believe we had never been there. Told Us all about the place and the food. The homemade ranch and onion rings are delicious. I got a bacon cheeseburger. I thought it needed more seasoning but it was an overall solid burger and really fun atmosphere. Cash only, lots of room in there.

This is one of those dark neighborhood haunts where your eyes take a few seconds to adjust after walking in. Once your eyesight returns, you'll notice a long room with a cash register at the end. That's where you place your order. (Note: They're cash only.) A few minutes after I ordered, a staff member delivered a bacon cheeseburger and side of chips. A few minutes after that, I had a happy plate.

I just love Dinkers. Their burgers are so dang good! Love the ambiance. It is cash only but there is an ATM!

I don't know what it is about icy nights, but we always seem to end up at Dinkers, and neither of us are complaining about it. Nestled in its own little hole, surrounded by traffic, is this gem of a place. Cash only and they do have an ATM inside! We tend to lean towards their Haystack (god that warm fried egg and ham) add ranch. I could bathe in their onion rings. They're flaky, buttery, and you can see onion vs the overly breaded ones most serve, that tear up the roof of your mouth. Here? No such thing! Sidle up to the bar, grab a Boulevard, side of lemon, folks play some pickle nearby (clearly it's popular there), enjoy the people-watching, and all that for $23.50 (we tend to split entrees). If you're brave and come east of 72nd St, I definitely recommend coming out and trying them. Come spring/summer, their little outdoor patio will be the place to be, for sure. Oh. And no loud music.

Friendly staff. We had a group of seven and they were able to accommodate us as soon as we arrived. Ordered the Jalapeño Burger and onion rings. Both were flavorful. Order food at the counter and drinks at the bar. Cash only. Parking is available

Dinkers Bar is a local gem that a friend told me about recently. It's a totally awesome venue! Tip: No credit cards accepted; payment is cash only The atmosphere is chill, the food is over-the-top incredible, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It doesn't get any better than this :-)

The space is super cute and bigger than I expected. I love that the windows open up and give it an indoor/outdoor vibe, and the tropical décor makes it feel fun and cozy at the same time. There's plenty of seating, and they can fit both small and big groups. We were a party of about eight and were still able to find a good spot together. Something I really liked is that they let you bring food from other places since they don't serve any, which is perfect if you want to hang out for a while. Their drink menu is huge, and the presentation is honestly amazing. When we first got there it was slow, but it definitely got busier as the night went on. We did struggle a bit when it was time to check out because all the servers were running around, so just be ready for that on a busy night. Overall, we had a great time. The drinks were really good, the vibe was great, and I'd definitely go back.

It was kind of confusing whether we had to go order at the bar or if someone was going to come take our order, but eventually someone came to us. I got the Exotic Bird and it was definitely my favorite drink out of the group. The seating was a bit of a challenge as we had to seat ourselves and we had a decently large group, so we had to wander around for a bit trying to find a spot, but we eventually did. I'll probably be back to try more drinks, but maybe when they are less busy!

Drinks are expensive for what you get. I tried their premium old-fashioned, and honestly, it was no better than a standard old-fashioned elsewhere. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing memorable--certainly not at that price point. Service was slow, which was surprising given that it was a quiet night. On top of that, since the bar is in the hotel basement, there's no cell service. The Wi-Fi password I was given didn't work, which made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be. Overall, it's a visually interesting space, but the combination of pricing, slow service, and connectivity issues made it not my favorite bar experience.

But--I'd discourage going to this part of the hotel. After my experience from the first review, I called and had 2 separate conversations with the manager to try to rectify the situation. He sent the info to accounting and 2 months later, I still hadn't heard anything back. It was clear they didn't consider the situation important enough to look into, so that was really discouraging as an IHG hotels member and have spent a fair amount of money here over the past several years.

I made a reservation for five of us, and we were counting down the days like it was a holiday. When we arrived, we valet parked and made our way inside. The restaurant is a little tucked away. Head downstairs past the hotel lounge and you will find it. It kind of gives the place a secret, speakeasy vibe, which I loved. We were greeted warmly and led to a private dining room that was beyond charming. It featured a renovated poker table that now serves as a dining table. It was unique, intimate, and perfect for our group. We were offered still or sparkling water right away, and the service was attentive from start to finish. Joe, our server, was fantastic. He knew we were celebrating and made the experience feel personalized from the moment we sat down. He also knew I was there for the Beef Wellington. I had noted it in the reservation, which I highly recommend, because they only prepare a limited number each day. They saved one for me, and I am still dreaming about it. Since it was our first time, we went all out. We shared Caesar salads, a small chilled seafood tower, bourbon-glazed pork belly, and an artisanal cheese board. Everything was top-notch. I do not even eat seafood, but the tarragon sauce on the tower was absolutely incredible. I would put that on toast, fries, maybe even a shoe. It was that good. For mains, most of us ordered the New York strip steaks. My husband chose the Summer of Steak flight, and I finally got my hands on the Wellington. Every entrée was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. These were easily some of the best steaks we have had in Omaha. We also ordered four sides to share, which was just right for our group of five. The truffle fries were hot and crispy with a lemon aioli that I wanted to take home in a bottle. The asparagus was fresh and perfectly done. The mashed potatoes were whipped and fluffy. The aged cheddar mac and cheese was everything it should be--gooey, rich, and ridiculously satisfying. Naturally, we did not stop there. We sampled a few desserts: Baked Alaska, Coconut Torte, and the Blackstone Butterbrickle. All three were excellent. There was not a single bite left behind. The cocktails were also a standout. Some of the best margaritas we have had in a while. The bartender deserves his own round of applause. Yes, it was a splurge. With tip, the bill came to around $1,200. But it was a birthday, and as my dad always says, if the food and the experience were good, it was money well spent. And this absolutely was. The Committee Chophouse delivered at every level: flavor, service, ambiance, and attention to detail. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we can go back.
