They are known for their charred, double dipped style wings, but they let you choose how you want them prepared. I went with the fully charred and double dipped style wings with BBQ sauce. The crunch from the first bite is all you need to know these are amazing wings. The double dipped means the wings are fully sauced again which ensures you always have enough sauce for each wing. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries. These are seasoned with what I think is brown sugar because they were absolutely delicious! We stopped in on a Thursday which was fairly busy but they had a few seats at the bar. Hamburgers were their special and I was pleasantly surprised at the charbroiled taste it had. I even liked the coleslaw. Husband had the beef sandwich which has a famous horse name. I could not believe the tenderness and taste of that sandwich. I was jealous! Our bartender was very nice always kept our glass full. The long awaited Tracks Lounge - West finally opened! I have never been to the original spot but heard amazing things about it so I was eager to try their new location. Food was so good!! Like I was honestly floored at how much I liked it! I'm not a fan of spicy but even their Triple Crown flavor was great! My favorite part was the sweet potato fries smothered in brown sugar! It was basically a dessert! My main gripe with this location was the seating. I totally understand self-seating and their popularity causing a line. That was not the issue. The issue is that they cut down on 1/4 of the available seating in the building by using giant, round leather swivel chairs that took up so much space. They don't really match the vibes of a wings place either. We ordered take out from Tracks on Saturday. We decided to dip our toes in with 12 boneless buffalo wings. I will say, walking in was a little overwhelming. There are tables crammed in all the way to the door, no definitive place to check in, and no one greeting customers to provide direction. I'm not sure I would choose to dine in here. We had a great time at Tracks West. A group of 6-8 buddies met up here for a husker basketball game. Game started at 11 which is opening time but they had the doors open at 10:50 when I arrived and some people already sat which was nice to be able to settle in for the game before tip. They had a deal on tall boys I want to say $2.50 but don't remember for sure. Our server was awesome she kept drinks full and all of our food orders straight. We started with some cheese curds and Mac and cheese bites. Both were solid the Mac n cheese bites had a good amount of cheese and were creamy and not dry like a lot seem to be. They were a table favorite. One person got a fried chicken dinner which they really enjoyed and the rest of us got a bunch of wings. We did triple crown which is a crowd pleaser, then did a hot garlic parm the tracks way. Had some original mild buffalo and then some hot twisted with the sweet Thai chili. I enjoyed them all but the hot garlic parm are my go to. I still think the original tracks just has something about it that the flavor is a touch better but these were still very good. Lots of seating options and TVs are placed well in my opinion. It was really busy the whole time we were there and the staff did great, thought our food came out a good amount of time after ordered and didn't feel rushed to get out after the game we enjoyed a couple more drinks and moved out. The environment in this place is electric! This is another locally owned and operated business with 2 locations. It's 60 years old with the new location only being 6 months old I believe. The chicken was just fair to me and probably like a 4/10. It did come out super piping hot so definitely be careful and eat it slow. I wish there is a way to order a two piece or maybe three piece but their smallest individual order was a four piece so that's what I ordered. Again it was just fair and nothing exciting AT ALL. Other things I did not like, look at my photo and look at my old-fashioned drink. This is how it came out. Looks like someone took a few drinks from it before I even touched it. Also, the seats in this place are very uncomfortable and big and bulky. There are plenty of TVs Inside if you'd like that - which I typically do. My visit here tonight was definitely a letdown. I'm not sure if they are typically staffed like this or if someone didn't show up for work, but the service was subpar. We did arrive around 7 p.m., and the restaurant was busy, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt to start our journey. It took them about 8 minutes to clear an empty table we were standing by to get seated. I ended up cleaning it off with the towel they left because they cleared the table and then got distracted and didn't come back for several minutes. We ordered our food and drinks. The drinks came pretty quickly, which was nice. It took about 35 minutes for our meal to arrive after ordering, which was a bit much. Once we were done eating, we sat for about another 10 minutes waiting for our waitress. I will say the chicken was delicious, so at least the food was good. I was also frustrated with the crappy paper napkins; when you're eating fried chicken with your hands, those things are worthless and you go through way too many. Our dinner took about 85 minutes total. For ordering 12 pieces of chicken, some fries, and I few drinks, that's crazy. As for the restaurant, they packed a few too many tables in. You basically walk into a table when you come through the door. There is also no sidewalk on one side as they blocked it off for outdoor seating. This means you are walking through a parking lot to enter from that side. There is also no blocked-off space to get into the restaurant, so you are squeezing between parked cars. Not the most well-thought-out situation. There are plenty of TVs in the place, and the bar area looks nice. The beer and spirits selection looked like they covered the basics, but it's definitely not a craft cocktail or brew head type of place. read more

Wait staff did a pretty good job on attentiveness. Wife and I were in agreement that the char buffed wings we ordered (with different sauces) did not look or taste anything like char buffed - but, they were large and tasted ok. Our order of side tots was missed so the rushed order of those were delivered and underwhelming. Will probably give it another run to try the fried chicken they are known for. We dined about 6pm and it was not very busy- a couple other tables and a few people at the bar; however, time to get our food took a good 20 min after ordering. Our server was great, came to our table right away, got our drinks and took our food order quickly. I ordered the sweet Thai chili wings, and was wildly disappointed that they tasted more like Bang Bang Chicken. I ate 3 of the 6 before calling it quite. What left the worst taste in my mouth was the cost; 12 boneless wings, 10 traditional wings + charbuffed, 2 sides of fries, a tea, and a mini pitcher of beer came to $59.xx. Let me tell you how: Tea - $3 (ok, everywhere is overpriced), 12 boneless wings - rang up as 2, 6 count since 1/2 were naked, 10 bone-in - same! 2 sauces = 6 count x2, and my favorite - 2 sides of fries... $5 EACH, and I'm not talking about a basket, these were 100% the quantity expected on the side of a burger when ordering a meal. I can't comment on the food as we left due to the bartender's complete LACK an understanding of customer service. After sitting at the bar for 5 minutes without being acknowledged, another couple came in and sat next to us. The waitress came over placing napkins and asking what they wanted to drink. I spoke up and said excuse me, we have been sitting her for 5 mins and they just got here. She immediately mouthed off to me saying "lose the tude, I didn't see who came in first". I was not the one with the "tude". I'm a 57 yo women albeit one of color. Maybe that is why this young, white, brown bobbed hair styled waitress assumed my statement was with attitude instead of a statement of fact.
