I can't believe it's taken me this long to visit this place having lived just up the street from it for most of my life. Generally I prefer boneless wings (sue me) but after hearing such great things about Tracks' double dipped and charred wings, I gave it a go. I think they've ruined every other wing place for me honestly, that's how good these wings are. I generally opt for buffalo wings, but their mango habanero wings are excellent as well. And the waffle fries really complete the meal. Love to sit out on their patio and people watch, but can't say much for sitting inside. read more

After a difficult doctor's visit, we decided to find a place we had never been before. Tracks lounge was it! It made me forget about everything I had just gone through at the doctor. What a delicious lunch! Yes, it is a dive bar, fine with me! Such a friendly staff. While waiting to order, someone stopped by and gave us a sample of their mac & cheese bites, something I would normally never order, but I will now. At least here. They were hot, creamy, and delicious. We shared a four piece chicken dinner which came with coleslaw. We also ordered the crunchy tots on the side, which were nothing amazing, we could've passed on those. As for the chicken, this is what it's all about, right? Absolutely hot, with a crunchy crust, moist on the inside, and perfectly cooked. The seasoning was slightly on the salty side, but enough to overlook. I am one who enjoys eating chicken skin with fried chicken. I 110% enjoyed eating this as well I couldn't get enough. The next time we will try the chicken wings, which is what they are also known for from what I have heard. Bravo for this long standing business. read more

As a South Omaha kid (born and raised) ... and now a Southwest Omaha adult... (LOL) and forever lover of the OG Tracks Lounge... we were so excited that they decided to bring the 2nd location right down the road from us. We had about 20 of our closest friends out for my husbands birthday, last night... and WOW!!! The new location is modern, bright and beautiful! The service was beyond excellent and the food... just as amazing as always! They have out done themselves, for sure! They are busy (Which I am so happy to see) But be patient, there was just a 5-10 min wait for folks coming in. Talking to the manager (who is also amazing) They are waiting on their permanent tables and chairs (that will add about 7 more tables) and some more outside furniture. They are waiting to roll out online orders and take out until they fully open and settle in (to ensure they are good to the kitchen and establishment) which I really appreciate! These are probably the best wings in Omaha, or very close. Beware, these wings carry some spice...I've never ordered the Twisted Hot, because I can barely handle the Hot. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE GREAT FOOD. When they get busy, the takeout orders don't seem to matter to the staff and on top of that they add a $3.00 service fee FOR TAKEOUT. I usually don't mind especially when it's great service + food BUT I've had multiple experiences where they forget my ranch and it's a simple wing order and I STILL pay for extra ranches even though a complimentary one is given ( there's been occasions where I receive NONE) CHECK YOUR FOOD!! Had heard nothing but good things about this spot and it lived up to all the hype! I'm actually upset that I waited so long to try this place. It's a classic neighborhood bar with good vibes. They're known for their wings so we decided to just go all in and get 40 wings. We also got the loaded waffle fries. Everything was FIRE! For the wing sauces we got the hot Buffalo char buffed double dipped, sweet chili, garlic parmesan, and my personal favorite was the honey bbq. I had the best fried chicken that I've had in years. It was tender, juicy cooked all the way through. I would've given tracks at 10, but the restaurant itself would have to be a two I ate in the dining area a mid kegs of beer, but things can be overlooked When the food is so good. my recommendation would be takeout or eat in the bar area. We happened to drive by this location last week and decided to give it a try as we've been on a quest to find good fried chicken in Omaha. We were greeted by friendly bar staff who shared with us that it would be a solid 40 minute wait because of the lines of people ahead of us. We decided if there were that many people there waiting for their chicken it had to be worth it. It was no disappointment. Large portions, accompanied with coleslaw and a side of a potato selection. Such a good deal that We thought we had misread the menu! The restaurant is not fancy, but it is very clean, and has excellent service. went to the new tracks bar on 182nd and Q, there was 4 of us. i ordered 4 piece chicken dinner comes with fries or cole slaw, (i got fries) it was the worst chicken i have ever had anywhere. no one at our table liked there food. the table next to us had wings which looked like they may have been good. if your going for wings and a beer your probably ok. but for chicken dinner you be better going to kfc or popeyes for a third of the price. place is small and expensive. i will be surprised if the place is still open 9 months from now. read more

The food is decent, but just bar food at the most. The service was extremely awful. I waited 15 to get a drink and had to go through 3 different mixers since they were out of everything. Took another 15 minutes to put in a food order and the food came out in a respectable amount of time. Came in & sat at the bar which had chicken crumbs on it. Bartender made no effort to clean it up, so I grabbed a napkin to brush it away. The bartender took our order then came back and used the paper napkin to go down the bar with it and brush the crumbs into the bar side. Then she went to the other end of the bar to eat & cleaned up her hands & arms with a bar rag. The food was fine, it's just that the place seemed quite dirty. First time I had tracks it was awesome. Went to tracks with my wife today and got 30 wings and when they first came out had to be remade they were so bad. We had waited 30 minutes already and were just hungry but wanted wings so we waited again. They came out again and the wings were horrible. First time to visit Omaha and we were only here for one night and we didn't feel like steaks-- which was our original plan. Fried chicken sounded good and Yelp recommended this spot. We both loved it. The broasted chicken was very moist and tender, while the crust was crisp and flavorful. I would say it was cooked perfectly and was some of the best fried (broasted) chicken I've ever had anywhere. The coleslaw was spot on as well-- it appeared to be made in house. One of the best parts is the atmosphere-- Tracks is a little neighborhood pub where it appeared as though there were many regulars. We sat up at the bar and enjoyed speedy service and friendly customers. Prices are reasonable & the beer is cold. If this place was located in Indianapolis, I'd come here often. Since I'm a newbie to the area, I didn't realize until driving back to our hotel that the name of the neighborhood where Tracks is located is Nebraska spelled backwards!! read more

I ordered a 12 piece chicken and large fries on Friday august 4. When I called I asked if I could have the order ready at 7. (It was a little after 6) so the order needed to be sent to kitchen at 6:30. The voice on the phone assured me it was no problem. I picked up at exactly 7pm. When I got home the chicken had steamed in the box so long that the batter was doughy and falling off. The fries were also cold and limp. The coleslaw was good, but warm I reachedout to tracks lounge management via email and i got no response or phone call. This meal cost $61 plus i tipped $11. What a ripoff. So do not preorder. Went to tracks for the first time yesterday for lunch. Had wings and a salad. I ordered the hot buffalo charred with the ghost sauce added. They were absolutely delicious! Nice and spicy! Love my spice peeps! Had a side salad with ranch. Not to fancy here just a good ol dive bar with good food. Now I guess they are known for their broasted chicken. Maybe next time I will have to try. Tracks is a go to for wings. Some of if not the best in Omaha. My go to is hot Buffalo charred and double dipped. So good and the perfect heat level for me. The cheese curds are also a go to standard. Some of the best ranch in the city IMO. Tried their blue cheese this time as well. Also yum. We tried the fried pickles on our most recent to go order and they were really good. Takeout only right now but they seem to have a pretty tight ordering system in place. Also they dropped the fries when I arrived so they were hot and crispy when I got home (keep in mind I'm like a 2 minute drive haha...dangerous.) Anyway you should go to Tracks.
