Stopped by for lunch in a Tuesday. Was here years ago and thought it was good. Ordered the #5 but noticed when I arrived around 12:30 there was no one in the lot and the place looked closed. Pulled up to the drive through and sign said open. Food was delivered quickly via the window. Noticed they charged 9.7% tax hmmm what's this about?? Opened the food and got a good amount of salsa with my meal. Rice and beans were very bland. Enchiladas were tasteless as well. It did have a red sauce on top which was thin and greasy but yet no flavor.All in all in the vein of most mass produced Mexican foods. If you like it bland then go ahead. read more

So prior to the pandemic, I would go there for breakfast burritos 4 to 8 times a month. Unfortunately, like a lot of businesses they just kept cranking and cranking and cranking up their prices to the point where I will now go there twice a year and that's only because I love their damn breakfast burritos or I would never go. I wish more of us would band together and not accept these companies that price couch. I literally decided to see how much it would cost me to make the same burrito and it's $1.52 again I don't have rent to pay and employees only still. I just miss honest prices from honest places, don't you? Please lower your prices to bring back people who appreciate your food and would like to appreciate an honest price! It's very basic. Tacos were mostly salty, i removed the pico, didn't know there was guac on them. I ordered with Chips and queso is basically water with some cheese melted in it and jalapeño. I like nice thin cheese dip but this wasn't it. Chips were most broken. Rice and beans were very mid. Didn't have to wait too long and they seemed nice, I didn't really interact with them besides ordering and paying. read more

HORRIBLE!!! I ordered from Lina's own website for delivery. They use door dash. I ordered 4 shredded beef platters and a pint of rice. Or so I thought. The order was about $45 but then they add on a service charge (what's that for), a delivery fee (why) and then a tip to the driver. Total was $60. All I got was the 4 burrito's and pint of rice. When I called to complain, these guys put the blame on door dash when Lina's is the one that says in their description that the beans and rice are included. They took no accountability. Even after I threatened to call my bank and cancel the entire order. This is false advertising!! Not legal!! I called Door Dash and they're refunding the entire amount. I'll never order from these crooks again. Somebody could've made it right and maybe only lost a few bucks. Now somebody lost $60. Smh read more

Came here on a random weekday because my husband and I were craving a good, authentic burrito. We saw that the reviews for Lina's were quite good and decided to try it out. It seemed like a very small location and mostly for takeout. I got a chorizo breakfast burrito and my husband got a carne asada burrito. Both were very delicious and well made. read more

Just a disaster these days. It used to be a 4x weekly drive-thru for us, but we're done. We went for Taco Tuesday on June 18th and ordered two of the specials. I asked for one to be crispy, and one to be fried flour. She repeated back, "So that's 10 total, five regular, 5 fried flour?" Yes. We waited behind one car, but there was nobody behind us. It definitely was not a rush. When we got home and opened the bag, we had five tacos in raw corn tortillas (nothing crispy or regular about that!), and 5 fried flour. But on the fried flour, this (photo) is what Lina's is selling as a $3 taco!! Total spent, more than $19. The raw corn tortillas weren't edible, so we split the four fried flour between us (I'm not counting the nearly empty one as even being a taco). $19+ and we each had two sub-par fried flour tacos. I'm Mexican and that was probably the worst food I've ever eaten. The salsa was like dipping my chip in water. The super nachos cheese wasn't melted just shredded cheese throw on top , unseasoned asada meat that was cold. Adobada burrito had no adobada sauce and was super salty. Both of our meals we couldn't finish. I wouldn't recommend this location. read more

Felt a little snacky in the mid afternoon, stopped in for a couple tacos. I tried a shredded beef taco and a ground beef taco. They were delicious, I easily could of smashed down a few more. I think the shredded beef was a touch better. They had cheese and lettuce for toppings. The price was nice too. Next time I stop in, I'm going to sit down inside and get an actual meal. It was a cool little place, the service was super friendly and quick. Do recommend! read more

Lina's looks like an old bank on the outside and a wannabe diner on the inside. On first glance, Lina's is clean. On further inspection you notice duct tape on the bottom of the bar stools to cover up rust and other various cracks and crevices that need some TLC. The inside seating area was incredibly hot. We really wanted to spend more time talking, but, could not stand the heat anymore. The front counter worker wasn't very talkative, but, answered our questions and took our order without complaint. Outside of the meat on the carnitas plate, which tasted old and over cooked, the food was great. The guacamole was creamier than we like, but, had a great taste with a little kick. The hubs said the Carne Asada Tacos were fantastic. The small bar area with salsa, hot sauces and veggies was a happy bonus. My advice, go inside, order your food to-go, take advantage of the condiment station, then enjoy it in the comfort of your own home. Happy eating Yelpers! read more

Listen, for late night food, this place isn't bad. It's just not great. I had the tamales combo. Rice and beans were fresh but the tamales had far too much masa compared to the filling. They were also incredibly dry. But, hey, they were cheap and I got what I paid for. The employees were friendly and the food came out promptly. The decorations hanging in the restaurant were nice (but there was a flickering light that made me feel like I was eating food at a discotheque). I am sure there are great things on the menu, I just wasn't lucky enough to pick one of those items. So no shade to those who love this restaurant, but I won't be back. read more

Excited to try the food, I immediately took a couple bites, but a very​ alarming amount of oil spilled from the burrito w/in a minute. It looked t​o be about 1/4th of a cup. & both my eyes & nose were sobbing from the spice. Delicious food for the price! The carne asada is my favorite and is what I usually order. It's always flavorful in any form and keeps me coming back! However, the salsa that's provided on the side is not good. It has a strange taste in my opinion, so I'd recommend using your own hot sauce if you're into that. For what it is, Lina's is almost "as good as it gets". This is fast food Mexican that is several cuts above what you might typically expect from a fast food Mexican place. Being that our family is crazy for Mexican food and we haven't yet found the perfect place for us here in Omaha, we stopped in here for something quick. We were pleasantly surprised. The menu is fairly diverse, with full platter options, along with tacos, burritos, and tortas. My wife got the chicken tacos, which came with a generous amount of chicken and a crispy shell. This is important for her. The shell has to stay crispy throughout the time she eats it and Lina's have fit the bill. My oldest son also got crispy tacos, with ground beef, and made short work of them. I got the rolled tacos with sour cream and guacamole. The rolled tacos are like a flauta or tacquito: deep fried. I liked them but I got the order of five and that was way too many. Maybe one or two would be more than enough for me. My youngest son got a cheese quesadilla, which was huge and he liked it. For drinks, if you want to go more "authentic", they do offer Jarritos and coke in a glass bottle. I think for a family of four with food and drinks, we got out of there for like 23 bucks. Very reasonable and we liked it quite a bit. You can drive through or dine in, so pick your preference. They also do breakfast, which I have yet to try but plan to soon. Really enjoyed my first visit to Lina's. I had a burrito with chorizo one friend I was with had carne asado in his and both were excellent. My other buddy had a chimichanga with shredded beef and said it "was the best I have ever had." Will definitely be bringing my family in for a test run at the breakfast burritos. It appears you can get both semi-americanized mexican foods here and much closer to traditional mexican foods as well. Take your time and order things like chorizo instead of beef in your burrito for a pleasant surprize. Good mix on the menu with great portion sizes and good sauces to spice it up a bit if you like. I'm from San Diego, where there's a Mexican Restaurant on every other corner. Naturally, I have certain expectations of them. After moving to Nebraska, I've been frustrated at not being able to find a GOOD authentic Mexican restaurant. Alas, Lina's is not one either. The tacos I had were made with flour tortillas. Yuck. Are corn tortillas that expensive, or do "gringos" raised on Taco Hell have such low expectations? A proper taco should be a corn tortilla, filled with shredded beef (never ground beef), deep fried and topped with Mexican cheeses. I've also tried the breakfast burrito and the "Arizona burrito"; both were fair but not as good as the burritos I used to get in California. I usually order a jamaica (hibiscus beverage) but what I got tasted a bit off. Prices seemed a bit high for what I was served. It's still an improvement on Taco Bell or Taco Johns. read more

The food was excellent for this being our first time here. This is a fast food Mexican restaurant with a drive thru and also a dining room that can accommodate about 20-24 customers. We ordered 2 soft corn Chicken tacos as well as the combination plate containing 2 tacos, rice, and beans. The soft Chicken tacos were for my wife and she loved them. Fresh corn tortillas stuffed full of shredded chicken and lettuce. Great value for $2.19 each. I had the combination plate with one ground beef taco and a shredded chicken taco as well as rice and beans. All was delicious and had a very good flavor except for the ground beef taco. A bit too dry. Crispy taco shells were a bit too crispy (dark brown on the outside). Flavor was still adequate. Rice and beans had an authentic taste and flavor. Chicken taco was stuffed full and was also delicious. We drove from Sioux Falls South Dakota to shop at the outdoor mall and are glad that we stopped at Lina's. We'll be back. And with 5 locations in town we'll be sure to find one close to wherever we are visiting. Now it's time to start our 190 mile drive back home. We'll be back to Lina's. Bye for now. read more

I went to Lina's today for lunch with some fellas from work. It was pretty cheap actually. A plate of a burrito, tact, rice, and beans for $6 is a pretty darn good deal. The beans were a little runny and the rice was a tad plain, and my Chimichanga I got looked huge but it was mostly breading. But the ingredients inside tasted fresh. Overall, it reminds me a lot of Alvarado's, a little run-down, but really cheap. read more

We just had the BEST service. We were in the drive thru, and the guy runs out after us to make sure we got the extra sour cream. Are you kidding me?? What a good guy. He marked all the food so we didn't have to open everything to figure out what it was. I've never felt so taken care of in a drive thru in my life. read more

Lina's is one of my favorite burrito places. I have only eaten the burritos here and they have all been excellent. My favorite is the Arizona (steak, potatoes, pico de gallo, and cheese), and others are good as well (breakfast burritos, chorizo, etc). The occasional stop to the DMV came with what I was really hoping would turn out to be a treat. You see, the Abelardo's nearest to me isn't open 24 hours anymore and Lina's is. The two serve a similar style Mexican food and Abelardo's is...well, fantastic. When perusing the menu, as I said there was quite a bit that was similar (though A's does trump Lina's in variety overall) and thought to myself, "You know what? It may be a little bit more of a drive than I'd like, but they're open whenever and it's nice to have an option that isn't Taco Bell." I wanted to like Lina's. I honestly and truly did. The menu's solid, great portions, salsa bar, I mean the place just WORKS! But man...it's bland. It's. So. Bland. I tried a chicken burrito and enchilada plate while my guest enjoyed the same with a chicken quesadilla to split (we enjoy poultry). The refried beans were good, the rice was alright, but surely, SURELY I'd be hitting Flavor Country soon, right? RIGHT?! I will say that you do get an amazing amount of food, so if you're hungry, in the area and want to put away a lot, Lina's can provide. However, we simply could not finish it all and took home about 1/4 of what we ordered including half of a quesadilla. I took one bite of it later and remembered why I was upset that I paid as much as I did in the first place. I'll tell you the same thing I told my guest: "Man...that was one sad, bland quesadilla." Stopped in my first time to get the famous breakfast burrito. It does not disappoint. Get extra salsa and hot sauce if you want to kick it up a notch (Emril reference)! Bam!
