I recently went here for a small get-together with a group of friends to celebrate a baby. I was on a reduced folic acid diet, so my options were limited, but that is definitely not their fault. I ended up going with the carnivore and I thought it was pretty tasty. Our service was great and our server was so kind to split all of our checks and split up the celebrants amongst everyone.

Very solid place to get breakfast/brunch. Parking and location is super easy The day we went the A/C wasn't working on a hot summer day but despite that, service and food was still very good! The eggs Benedict was your typical eggs Benedict flavor and the cinnamon roll bites/dippers were a bit dry on the outside but super good once dipped in the sauces just a little over the top. The hashbrowns were perfect!

My wife and I are visiting Nebraska from Texas max and decided we wanted to try the place. We started off with two Oatmeal Cookie shots. They were good, reminded us of espresso martinis. My wife order the Early Bird; scrambled eggs, turkey links, wheat toast and country potatoes. With a side pancake as well. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandy with tots. We completed that with the Vanilla Lattni and the Biscoffee. Everything that we ordered was AMAZINGLY made to order. The pancake was a very decent size, warm and fluffy. The chicken sandy was crafted and cooked to perfection. Coated perfectly with the crisp, and juicy. The brioche bun compliments the patty very well. The food was very comforting. Emily was our server and she was awesome. Very knowledgeable and informative about the menu. Cindy was the bartender and did an awesome job as well with the drinks and customer service. Overall the place was 1000/10! Very great establishment, and as long as we're in Nebraska we will dine in.

Leslie: "Why would anyone eat anything other than breakfast foods?" Ron: "People are idiots, Leslie." Early Bird is a great stop for either the savory or sweet style breakfast lover. Even greater to us with the newer location on Pacific...much closer. Breakfast Sammies. Benedicts. Bacon. All good, fresh and unique. Waffles: Belgian AND Churro Waffle options! Service is always quick and attentive. They keep my coffee filled up; helping me prepare to Carpe that Diem. Lots of seating, Including a multi season patio. You never really wait long; if at all.

My last day in Omaha I decided to have brunch. Went to another Early Bird but there was no parking. Came to this one and was able to be seated immediately. Ordered the Triple citrus juice... omg! Amazing!!! It does have quite a bit of tartness. So, if that's not your thing, you've been warned. Luckily, it's my thing and it was amazing. I need more of that. Had the #16 combo. Pancake was delicious. Lemon glaze was awesome on the pancake as well. Blueberries were plentiful both in and on the pancake. Bacon fried rice was also good. Very interesting combo of flavors. I probably wouldn't get it again but it was good. Server was very nice. I wish I could remember her name. She was awesome! I'll definitely be back to try more things

CHURRO WAFFLE CHICKEN FRIED STEAK

Food, service and ambiance are all top notch. This location offers a variety of seating arrangements, all of which provide comfort and convenience. Their menu offers food for all. Whether you like sweet or savory, breakfast or lunch. Their beverage menu also has a little bit of everything. Their specials have always been our favorite as they really go above and beyond to appeal their customers. Our go-to's Churro waffles (something you'd think came from a state fair, for those who are extreme sweet tooth's) Chicken fried steak (their sausage gravy is a star) And their Biscoffe (for anyone who loves a little liquor in their coffee) All of their locations are amazing!

By the looks of the sausage you can see how dry it is. I ordered a cinnamon roll pancake and it was nothing like a cinnamon roll. Didn't taste like a cinnamon roll at all. I left the waitress no and all she said was would you like more frosting. That's not what I was trying to get across. I have ate plenty of pancake cinnamon rolls and these all were the worst. I had to send my scrambled eggs back because they were cold. I just was not having luck at this place. Was not happy with my waitress. The place was well decorated!

Never had a bad meal here, whoever's making the menu is killin it! Always nice, always clean and you can get in and out pretty quickly with or without a yelp waitlist reservation. Fair prices for breakfast and great coffee!

Food is made with love, Served with care in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Within walking distance from Kimpton Inn, this brunch place is a homerun! Food portions are generous, so bring your appatite.

My husband and I visited Early Bird for breakfast on his birthday. We had heard great things about Early Bird, and were excited to give it a try ourselves - and it was absolutely exactly how he wanted to start his special day! When you walk in, the ambiance of the restaurant is super fun and bright. There were cute breakfast-themed paintings on the walls, with a palette of bright yellow and dusky blue, paired with simple brick accents and wooden tables. The layout of the restaurant was interesting - it looked small when you walk in, but there are a few other rooms that wind through a hallway, and there is more dining space there. There's also a little area out front that's an enclosed patio area (or at least it was enclosed when we went in winter). Our server was excellent and gave us her recommendations about what she likes to order. We took a few of her tips and they were excellent choices! We started with a few pancake options (it was a birthday celebration and our first time, so we may have over ordered LOL): -Oreo Pancakes: These were amazing and definitely best if you have a sweet tooth (I mean, you know what you're getting when you order Oreo pancakes!) They were just normal fluffy pancakes, but covered in crushed Oreos/Oreo dust, some dollops of whipped cream, and then some white icing that tasted like the white filling of an Oreo. -Cinnamon Roll Pancakes: This was one of the recommendations from our server and they were so tasty. They were actually rolled pancakes instead of flat flapjacks. They had a sweet cinnamon filling inside the rolled pancake and then a drizzle on top of caramel and creamy cinnamon syrup. It almost had a nutty, layered taste making it not as sweet as the Oreo Pancakes, believe it or not. Now for our actual non-sweet options - we picked a few things on the menu to share: -Biscuits and Gravy: This is listed just in the "Extras" section, so we weren't thinking they'd be a huge serving, but we were definitely wrong. It was a huge plate of two whole (but halved for easier eating), perfectly toasted English muffins, covered in a rich and heavy sausage gravy. The English muffins having the crispy edges definitely worked to give another texture and cut the gravy a little bit, as there was a lot of it (in a good way!) -Ham I Am Benny: My husband is a fanatic for anything hollandaise, so this was his choice. It came "open faced" as two English Muffins with a piece of ham and an expertly cooked runny egg on top of each. They were super satisfying to me, and had almost an "airy" aftertaste (maybe from the type of ham used?) that made it deceptively light tasting! -AM Pot Pie: I love myself a pot pie in any format, so I couldn't stop myself from ordering this. It had the same scrumptious gravy that was on the Biscuits and Gravy, but it was paired with a larger sized puff pastry that was covered in sausage, gravy, and scrambled eggs (my egg choice). It was so savory and hearty. And of course, I also had to try a coffee option, as it was breakfast time. I got a caramel latte and it was super delicious - perfect mix of coffee and sweetness. Yum! Definitely do not sleep on Early Bird when you're looking for your next lunch or brunch spot. We will definitely be back many many times!

Delicious breakfast! I had EB Toast - Yum! my partner had Cinnamon Roll pancakes! Sydney is a hard worker and gave us the best service!! Worth the wait!

El Gordo Burrito Bowl

Visited Early Bird on a Sunday morning and they were slammed. Restaurant is much bigger than I assumed. We had placed ourselves on the Yelp waitlist which came in hand as our wait was only 10 minutes outside. The menu had a variety of items. I got a deconstructed breakfast sandwich which was perfect with a side of cheesy grits. The sando was Wonderful Day which included Sausage patty, candied bacon, smoked gouda, fried egg and house blackberry jam on a buttermilk biscuit. My friend got the El Gordo Bowl. We were both delighted with our selection. Downgraded this restaurant because of drink. My raspberry drink, the Roberto Royale was poorly made and not worth $10.00 was supposed to come with Early Bird Bubbly, Chambord, Fresh Raspberry, Lemon Twist. No raspberry or lemon twist. Very underwhelmed!!! Also our server was frazzled and short at times. I would not order a cocktail in the future here. We also enjoyed the Bird Tarts which was 2 house made toasted pastries filled with blackberry jam. Drizzled with sweet white icing and blackberry jam. This reminded me of fancy toaster strudel. All in all, it was good. I would not wait more than 20 minutes to eat at this venue as it isn't anything special.

The Old Fashioneds are some of the best I've had anywhere, and Aaron is one of the most talented mixologists in the city. In fact, Aaron is a big reason many people keep coming back. He's exceptional at what he does, and every drink reflects that level of skill. The espresso martinis are fantastic, but the "Not Espresso Martini" was an unexpected favorite that kept us coming back. One of the things I love most is that the menu changes seasonally, giving us a reason to come back and work our way through the new cocktails to find our latest favorite. The bartenders are knowledgeable, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their craft. The atmosphere is cozy, intimate, and full of character. There are actual typewriters throughout the space, which perfectly fits the literary theme and adds to the experience. For my drink, I ordered the Cecilia's Mule (vodka, strawberry aperitif, Galvanina ginger beer, strawberry syrup, basil, and lime). It was incredibly refreshing and definitely something I'd order again. For our appetizer, we tried the Italian street corn, which was one of this week's specials. It was okay, but in my opinion, it could have used a bit more flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the Spaghetti Nero Fra Diavolo with shrimp, garlic, white wine, butter, chili, herbs, and lemon. It was absolutely delicious! The shrimp tasted fresh, and the flavors came together perfectly--chef's kiss! My only critique is that the portion size was a little on the smaller side. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. It wasn't overly loud, making it easy to enjoy conversation. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Overall, we had a wonderful first visit, and I'll definitely be back!
