Power wrap: Egg white, turkey, mushrooms, spinach with mozzarella cheese in a yummy sun-dried, tomato basil tortilla!!
    Pam S.

Menu options are really good for breakfast and lunch! I like the healthy choice, low calorie, high protein egg whites! I've had the power wrap & the market veggie hash! Both excellent! I got a side of grits that were a yellow grain that's deceiving but has no butter & no diary which is right up my alley! We shared a plate of Million dollar bacon that is smoked well done with brown sugar, pepper cayenne & drizzled with maple syrup-Full of flavors that's a must order in our group! I had the kale tonic fresh juice that is light and refreshing . The morning meditation fresh juice is much sweeter. My hubby likes their coffee & he tried the Chickichanga-not enough chorizo for him. He said he would try something different next time. Service has been top notch at all 3 locations in my surrounding area. The restaurants are very clean & they turn tables quickly. I enjoy their outdoor seating weather permitting!

Unfortunately I was very dissatisfied with this to go meal. Although it looks great presentation-wise the grits lacked flavor. The shrimp and sausage were good, but everything else could have used any type of seasoning/flavor to improve the meal. I wouldn't get it again, but the to go experience was smooth and easy.

Great food with a variety of options for breakfast or lunch. Great service. The only drawback was the bathroom was broken so the whole place smells like a sewer. Hope the get that fixed soon then I will come back. I would have given them at least one more star.

I haven't been to this location before. I think it's hard to find the first time, even with GPS because there's so many businesses on all four corners. I ordered my usual-- frittata rustica and coffee. The coffee is the same as other locations, just ok and needing cream. The room is large, with tables well-spaced. Because it's a large room, I suspect it can get noisy, even though there's a wooden-looking floor and dropped ceiling. There's also a nice little area of outdoor seating. I love getting greens with my frittata. It helps me get in a serving of veggies. Plus the delicious frittata had veggies too-- kale, tomato, mushrooms, and onion. It's a healthy way to start the day.

This is usually a regular breakfast place I like going to. Only bad experience I had was getting old avocado in my food.

We absolutely love first watch. Every time we come here the service is wonderful and food tastes so good. The yogurt parfait was something new that I tried and did not disappoint. We sat on the patio and it was perfect.

Service and food were both outstanding!!! Wasn't our original destination but, as soon as we saw it, we knew that this was the place! Something for everyone including picky little eaters! Went with the Egg Breakfast Sandwich and was able to substitute with ham. So delicious and flavorful! Ambiance was cute and comforting. Great seasonal and drunk menu too. Reasonably priced and even got extra tea and coffee to go! Definitely a place I would return to.

First timer at this location, which I am ashamed to admit as it is only 4 minutes from my house. However, it was Saturday which means day date with the MummaBear! It was her pick, and woah, she knocked it out of the park. Let me just start by saying that Saturday morning was rather brisk, especially with the wind. So walking into this lovely establishment, only to be greeted with not only warm smiles, but a cosy heat setting just started it all off rather well. We were seated within 10 minutes. The people who run this establishment as well as their team are AMAZING! Everyone seemed to be working together, to get the job done, and not just done. But done efficiently and while being super friendly. The food, what a banger. I love the green juice, it's addicting. I realized you could add some liquor after the fact, which is awesome. But hey, I was trying to be good, lol. My white turkey omelette and fruit was absolutely delicious and I cannot wait to try more. Also, straight up kudos for having oat milk creamer (btw this place has great coffee and I swear the mugs are massive, bonus!). The MummaBear throughly enjoyed her skillet and toast, as well as her coffee. The entire team from start to finish were absolutely incredible and the food was *chefs kiss*. We will now be regulars! Cheers to the team for creating such an awesome experience and providing a top notch service, and drool worthy food. - M

Carrot Cake & Pecan Multigrain Pancakes.

I never heard of First Watch before, but they just opened a location in IL. The first stop of my road trip was in Omaha, NE to visit my fraternity brother and we ate breakfast here before heading to Badlands National Park. The place was packed on a Saturday around 9am, but we only had to wait for about 10 minutes. The place was pretty big and it had a nice outdoor patio. First Watch is breakfast/lunch place that focuses on healthier items so kind of similar to Beatrix in Chicago. I ordered the Carrot Cake & Pecan Multigrain Pancakes, side of potatoes, and coffee. The coffee was solid, but the pancakes was where it was at. The pancakes were sooooooo good! They were fluffy, fresh, hot, very tasty, and they didn't skimp on portion sizes. Yeah I ate over 1,000 calories in pancakes alone and probably over 100g of sugar, but it was worth it! The potatoes had a lot of flavor too and hit the spot. It was definitely a scrumptious meal! Service was adequate and prices were good especially for the portion sizes. It does seem like a place that was a sit-down plus quick table turning. It was also pretty loud since it was packed. But it is what it is and the food was great! If I am ever out in Oak Brook, IL then I will have to try it again!

My wife and I both ordered the Everett's #2 with pulled chicken, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. Everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was tender, the slaw added the right crunch, and the bun tied it all together. It was one of those sandwiches where after the first bite you just look at each other and know you made the right choice. We also ordered the Saucy Rossy wings and they were the perfect heat level for both of us. Not so mild that they're boring and not so hot that you're suffering. Pro tip: get them fried and grilled. The extra texture and flavor are absolutely worth it. My wife is a total Brussels sprouts snob and she was absolutely in love with theirs. The funny part is that I'm usually not much of a Brussels sprouts person, but I kept asking for more off her plate. That alone should tell you how good they were. The fries were okay. Nothing that stole the show, but nothing to complain about either. The service wasn't the best during our visit, but they also had a 30-person table they were dealing with, so it was completely understandable. Even with that, the food was so good that it's already a top 3 meal for my wife. We'll definitely be thinking about those sandwiches, wings, and Brussels sprouts until we're back, and I don't think that'll take very long.

It was kind of cool to see it very empty, because we could admire all the goat accents around the interior and the cool bar, without a million people around it. There was a brunch menu at that early hour, but we decided to stick with the normal menu. Our server was great, and definitely very attentive since we were the only party in the place the entire time we were there. I had just had dental surgery so there were only a few things I could eat. I got the Meatballs appetizer (to cut up and have some meat in my stomach) and the French Onion Soup, which was the soup of the day. The French Onion Soup was super creamy and delicious. I'm used to there being just sort of darker brown with the cream and cheese on top only. This was totally cream colored and hearty. It came with a few pieces of bread points too that were good to dip/soak in the soup. My more substantial part of my meal, the meatballs, were a little less appetizing though. First off they came in a bowl, so they are not easy to cut at all (being giant meatballs, I would think anyone would want to cut them a little). And secondly, the meatballs themselves were kind of flavorless. There was some marina style sauce in the bowl with them, but the meat of the meatballs themselves had no seasoning or flavor. My husband got the caesar salad with chicken, and he was not a huge fan. It was way too heavily dressed that the salad leaves were almost wilty, and the chicken that was in the salad was cut in huge pieces - not easily eaten without sawing at the huge bits. So the food was not the star at this visit (except for the side of French onion soup), but the service and atmosphere were still great. I would return to Stokin' Goat but maybe choose some other items next time, when I can eat more substantial food.

We started with the wagyu meatball and the tallow candle--both were absolutely phenomenal and a perfect way to kick things off. Most of our group had been to Cheddar's before, and we were all excited to try some new menu items. Overall, the food was a hit. The onion rings came out hot and fresh, the lemon pepper chicken was especially juicy, and the white fish ended up being another favorite at the table. That said, there were a few service missteps that took away from the experience. Two people in our group ordered the white fish blackened, but only one plate came out as requested--the other was pretty bland. When our server eventually checked in (a bit later than expected), we mentioned the mix-up. His response was pretty casual, something along the lines of there just being less spice, and he didn't offer to fix it or have it remade. We ended up just swapping a fillet between the two plates so each person had one blackened and one not. It worked, but it felt like something that should have been handled differently. There were also a few moments where drinks went empty for a while, and our server wasn't around much. At one point, a manager actually stepped in and refilled waters for the table, which we appreciated. Overall, the service felt very laid-back...but to the point where it came across like he didn't care. One bright spot worth mentioning: my salad came out before the meal with a lot more cheese on top than I expected. As I was picking some off onto a side plate, a manager happened to notice and stopped to ask if I'd prefer a new salad without cheese. I explained it wasn't a mistake, just more than I wanted, but I really appreciated the attention and the offer to make it right.

Suffice to say (before reading my long review) it was not on par with the L street location! The staff were definitely new and learning the menu, but that is to be expected any time a new place is freshly opened. Our server, Blake, was nice though and was learning fast. But with a few other servers, there was one thing that did not come about from being a server in a new restaurant. We were eating and could CLEARLY hear the staff around the corner talking loudly and cursing left and right. I am not a prude about language but it's just not something you see every day at a restaurant with families/kids dining. The size of the restaurant seems a little smaller than the L street location, too. That may be a psychosomatic thing when trying a different location of a place you know, but I definitely felt more cramped. The food is on par with the OG spot, so no complaints there. My usual is the bourbon glazed salmon with the cheesy broccoli on the side. So it was just as tasty as the other location, but I think I'll stick to the L street one mostly going forward.
