Went for breakfast for the first time today. The place was busy, but the staff was working hard to keep all their guests happy. Coffee was good and food came out in a timely manner for the rush they were having. The star of the show was the scrambler, well seasoned and oh so tasty. The cinnamon roll was so soft and delicious too. (Sorry the photos were an after thought because everything came out looking so good). Well priced and an overall relaxed atmosphere. Will go back again.

Bookguy saw a Tik Tok review of Nite Hawkes that piqued his interest so we ended up there and were very happy we did! The waitress was upbeat and friendly. The space was fresh and clean, although we did have to request our table be wiped down. The music playing in the background was just right and not overwhelming. Bookguy ordered ham with over easy eggs, potatoes, and pancakes. He thought it was a really good breakfast. I liked his potatoes a lot! I ordered a veggie omelette that was loaded with mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes and onions topped with shredded cheese. It was a nice size and cooked completely through. Both of us had cinnamon rolls after hearing the reviewer go crazy over them. We thought they were tasty, but not exceptional. I did appreciate that the icing was understated. It must be a popular neighborhood spot because there's a second room at least as big as the first, although it wasn't being used when we were there. We liked it enough to come here again.

Wow! What a nice find. This is your basic, old fashion diner, serving breakfast and lunch favorites. Easy access and parking, along with a large restaurant, allows for minimal wait time. We were pleasantly greeted and immediately seated. The no-frills menu offered a nice variety of choices at exceptionally affordable prices. I'd highly recommend this well kept secret just north of downtown for anyone that likes a hearty meal. Their biscuits and gravy sauce was just outstanding although not necessarily low in calories! Given that, the menu is limited in that it does not offer a wide variety of low cal or healthy choice options, but it will definitely give you the comfort food of home!

Why this was not the #1 breakfast location when I searched Omaha is beyond me! If I could give it 10 stars, I would do so without hesitation! This is a cozy little restaurant off the beaten path. Another Yelper called it a hidden gem and rightly so. I love a good breakfast establishment, and when I was scrolling through the options, the menu stood out for their "local favorites" The Stacker and The Scrambler. (I also love steak and eggs, and that was another option along with a nice variety of sweet selections. ) I wanted to try both, but I ended up ordering The Scrambler which comes with a side, and the waitress suggested that I get the biscuit that comes with The Stacker and have it be the foundation for my dish. I did that and ended up with what I called The Scracker and let me tell you it was an exceptional breakfast! Full of flavor, and the combination of all of the ingredients made a satisfying dish. I also decided to try a pancake with the plate, and it was fluffy and flavorful as well. Next time I am in Omaha for breakfast, there is no doubt where I'll be eating again! Cozy room, wonderful staff, great service, and outstanding food! Five stars just doesn't seem enough.

Breakfast here was great!! All the staples and super speedy service made for a great experience all around. The dining area was very pleasant and boasted all the charm you'd dream up in imagining a small town diner. Staff were very helpful and friendly which is always the cherry on top of a good meal on the road. Highlights were the Breakfast Burrito, Ham and Eggs with Fresh Hash Browns, and the Silver Dollar Cakes. Added bonus: marble rye bread is always a game changer(highly recommend) and the coffee was notably, deliciously balanced to where my daughter drank it black!(She's very picky about her coffee so this was a huge win)

I can't say enough good things, except I wish I would have tried this place out sooner. It's a cute little spot with very friendly staff, the service was quick and welcoming. The food is so well priced and absolutely fantastic. We paid barely $23 for 2 huge meals and coffees. Can't beat that anywhere! My husband got the stacker, with biscuits and gravy, eggs - so good. I got the scrambler with hash browns and eggs, with veggies and pancakes. Perfect portions with enough to take home and have later. Can't wait to come back for lunch!

French toast special included bacon, I added over easy eggs. So delicious!

This place is truly a hidden gem in Omaha. This is the perfect place to have some home cooked comfort food and the breakfast was an excellent start to the day. It was so affordable too, I couldn't believe it when I got the bill! Don't walk, RUN to Nite Hawkes Cafe!

You will want to bring your camera with…read moreyou, even if you're not normally a food photog, because the ambiance and food are made for the perfect pics! My husband and I first visited Memoir for our anniversary, and it was such an awesome experience, especially for a special occasion like that. After we were done doing all of our (admittedly annoying) photography of the awesome ambiance, we finally sat down to order and eat - and the original amazingness didn't stop there! The menu is not gigantic, which I always appreciate - because I get overwhelmed by too many choices. We picked a few things to share, at the recommendation of our server (who was also amazing and made sure we had a great anniversary dinner). They even gave us a card signed by the staff wishing us a great anniversary! Those little extra touches are what really make a dining experience special. We had the Kale and Bacon Dip for an appetizer, which was DECADENTLY delicious. The dip was smooth and silky with a toasty focaccia which went really well together with the two different textures. And we also grabbed the Pork Potstickers, and my oh my, were those fantastic. Delicate potsticker wrapper, with tons of filling, resting in a carrot-ginger dressing that complemented the potsticker fantastically. We were already so pleased, and didn't believe the entrees could top the starters, but they were just as awesome, which should be no surprise. It was easier to share two entrees, because we couldn't decide between two. Our first entree was the Faroe Island Salmon, and it was cooked to perfection, and served atop an indulgent bed of sweet corn risotto that I still dreeeeam about. And our second entree was the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which was a little lighter of a meal, so was great paired with the salmon dish which was a tad heavier. I would recommend either of these dishes! We were SO full at this point but we knew we had to get a dessert since this was a special occasion. We shared the chocolate torte and devoured it, even with our extreme fullness. It was so fluffy and chocolatey and DELISH. From start to finish, this was one of the best meals I've had in Omaha. The service was on point, the eats were out of this world, and the vibe of the interior is something to behold. If you're looking for an awesome place to have a special occasion meal or just a nice dinner on a date night, look no further than Memoir for all of the above!

The steak was cooked perfectly! We were sat right upfront to over look the old market and it was clean and I loved the home feel of the space, very casual and comfortable. Our server (ugh, can't remember his name) was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. The ONLY thing that was a downside is that on yelp it says the restaurant is pet friendly and that is not the case. We traveled with our puppy and we had to leave her back at my daughter's apartment downtown which was a big bummer. Other than that, not one single bad this to say.

This fit the bill so we walked over around 5pm one evening for an early dinner after spending the day exploring the zoo. When we arrived the place was pretty empty - think maybe two tables occupied, and the hostess asked us if we had a reservation. We did not, and honestly she seemed a bit put out for a bit. I kind of wondered if we were going to be able to eat in this empty restaurant, but alas she decided it was okay and we were seated. This is one of my pet peeves at restaurants. I know, I know, that there could have been a ton of business booked for later, but it's such a bad look to make such a big deal about reservations when the place is empty. Also - while it did start to fill it was by no means full by the time we left. At any rate, things perked up at that point and we all got seated, ordered drinks, food etc. and had a good time. The server was kind and thoughtful and the food was pretty tasty. I had the fish and chips and shared it with my husband as the entrees are a good size here. My six year old had the kids hamburger, though we did have a bit of a scare when the server said "your cheeseburger will be out soon!" we had a long wait on the kids meal and when she said cheeseburger I immediately said - "no cheese!" the menu item was described as a "hamburger" with no mention of cheese and our kid doesn't like cheese her burgers so that was a really close call. I sort of got the impression that server wasn't accustomed to kids, but when the burger came out it was right and even though she had to wait, my kiddo gave it two thumbs up. Overall this is a good pub style restaurant in Old Town. Nothing really to write home about, but they do have decent food and local beers which was all we really cared about after a long day at the zoo.

I'm sure everything on the menu is good, but we came here for wings and boy did they deliver. The house brined wings are Fantastic. We did the extra hot bubba, which is their extra hot sauce fried then grilled In garlic Parmesan, which was so juicy and flavorful and kicked the heat to a perfect amount where it was flavorful but not overbearing. We also did the cactus ranch, which is the medium hot sauce tossed with cactus ranch seasoning, also tried it grilled. Another solid selection that provided a nice amount of heat and flavor. Both were so amazing I can't even say which one I liked more or which one was hotter. The wings are huge, juicy, and came out well-sauced. I filled up after five of mine (my husband tackled them all) and took the rest home. I don't know how to say best wings in Omaha, since I don't live there and haven't tried enough places, but these were some of the best wings we have EVER had, period. And we get wings almost everywhere we go. Also---the hand-cut (you heard me) fries aren't to be passed up on. We tried with the garlic aoili, so good, and a huge basket for $6. Our server was great. They are always busy, so give them some grace. We came during late lunch, got lucky and got seated right away, and it was still a revolving door of people, tables don't sit empty for long. They don't take reservations, and I understand why. They have limited space and when full, you sign up on the Board, there is a bar next door you can also receive a buzzer and go have a few drinks while you wait.
