I've wanted to try this place for a while so I was overjoyed when I saw that my work had a coupon for a burger and fries for a special event that my work was having. When I went there, one guy was doing it all. Taking orders, prepping and cooking the orders, and handing them out. I ordered and waited about 15 minutes for the food to be ready; which was fine. If I didn't have my daughter with me at the time, I would have grabbed a drink at the bar. The burgers were good. Nothing absolutely mind blowing but good. I would love to go back and try a couple of their other burgers though. I'm hoping to go back in the next month with a friend to try some other items on the menu. Overall, I'd try again, but very hesitant. This review is based on food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and value. Definitely not the best burger. Patty was a little dry. Fries were undercooked, soggy, and flavorless. Service was good, but the cleanliness could have been better. Almost every table had some type of mess, crumbs, or something smeared on them. The atmosphere left something to be desired. The value could have been better. Maybe it was an off-day. Time will tell if I return. read more

This Burger spot is in a great location if you find yourself North of downtown and east of Benson/Dundee. Grab it to go, or stay awhile in their large seating area or on the beautiful airy patio. The staff member who took my order and made my meal was friendly and knowledgeable. Great service is always worth a few stars in my book! I love their mission to do burgers with better ingredients. I thought the burger was well seasoned and the sweet potato fries being real sweet potato wedges was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the toppings in the burger were lackluster: the lettuce was crazy wilted (probably just hit the hot burger too quickly) and the tomato was unripened. I came during the end of the lunch hour on purpose to reduce the chances of fighting for parking or potential long lines. The good news is there is plenty of parking near Hardy's Coffee side but a little longer of walking around to the entrance next to Big Mama's and the Highlander Bar and Grill. The interior is modern in design and open, with lots of natural lighting. The food took 15 minutes to prep. The burger comes plain and allows you to customize the ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise if that's your preference. My lettuce did not come out wilted as Sabrina's experience and the tomato was ripe to my taste. I went with the standard crinkle cut fries and added the Carmel Pecan Brownie to take home with me, once I completed this review. Overall, a decent experience for a new place. If not a burger fan, there are other choices in the up and coming food court location. read more

We had great cheeseburgers at the Best Burger Yelp event at the Highlander dining room. Bookguy had two of them, he liked them so much! Most burgers are dry, in his opinion, but these were nice and juicy. He would score them a 10 out of 10 if there was scoring, which there was not. They come with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and a choice of cheese. There's also a vegan bean and veggie burger which is made in house that I'll try next time. I'm not much of a meat eater, but I liked mine too, except it tasted a tad bit salty. That's probably just me though, because I don't even add salt when I cook at home. I have "unacquired" the taste for it. We had the hand cut fries and the sweet potato fries, both of which we enjoyed, but we especially liked the sweet potatoes. They had very tasty seasoning that went well with the potatoes. Lucky for us the portions were generous so we'll crisp them up for lunch tomorrow. We also shared a peanut butter brownie from a local bakery called Crum Cakes. Sorry people, we got the last one so you'll have to go check them out yourself. The brownie was huge, with just the right combo of chocolate and peanut butter. After the cheeseburgers and fries, we just sampled a bite of the brownie. More for lunch tomorrow. The location, The Highlander, is an industrial-looking space with lots of room to spread out so we felt very comfortable there. There are also tables outside. Kind staff and great environment at Best Burger! I love the new concepts of food halls. Best Burger is located in the Accelerator next to Big Mama's. Pretty good burger! While it's not my favorite burger in town, it was solid! The burger had good seasoning and flavor, however it was much smaller than expected. I didn't find my burger to be dry as other reviews mentioned, and the vegetables on the burger were fresh. I was most impressed by the pear pepper jam. We ordered the sweet potato fries as a side, and I actually enjoyed them more than burger. I appreciate the concept and love the setting! read more

Omaha has a lot of restaurants, especially burger places...but it all feels like the same bland food. Only a handful of restaurants I've been to in town come close to what I would consider gourmet or high quality. Today I add Best Burger to my list. I could not stop smiling and dancing through my entire meal, I was so happy. This restaurant made me feel like I was back home in LA. It is too good to be in the Midwest. The burgers were seasoned perfectly, the brioche buns were nice and soft. The sandwiches didn't fall apart instantly and all the ingredients were insanely fresh. The staff was so polite and helpful. The food came out quickly and we even got free cookies for their 2yr anniversary. I cannot believe how cheap the burgers were priced, at only $9 for a sandwich and a side. I would have easily of paid $20+ for the same thing in LA. Why this place wasn't completely packed is beyond me. Truly the best food I have had since moving to Omaha 3yrs ago. read more

I have been to this establishment too many times to count. This place can give many burger establishments a run for there money. Honestly, I believe this place might have the best black bean veggie burger in town. I haven't had anything this good since McFoster's back in the day. My personal favorites consists of the following: Black Bean Burger with Gouda cheese on brioche bun, lettuce, pickle, tomato with Thai Slaw, sweet potato fries with aioli sauce, Hello Sunshine breakfast sandwich with the spicy pear jam. By the way, their sauces is absolutely incredible. Aioli, spicy pear jam, Thai slaw, and their seasonal apple cinnamon jam is the best. read more
