Nachos

This is my first time at this location, and my first time ordering food. I really enjoyed my bacon cheeseburger, and thought it was seasoned, well, topped well, and tasteful. The fries were hot and somewhat salty like I like them. My son loved his foot-long chili cheese dog and onion rings. I had to try one of his onion rings, and I might have to go for those next time. I must admit their $1.29 margaritas are l pretty tasty as well for the price. The new girl working the counter was very friendly, and we only had to wait a couple of minutes for our food. The dining area was clean, and the drink station was well stocked as well.

Cheese Frenchie and fries

First time trying a Frenchie and it was amazing! I feel like adding a dipping sauce would make it even better...something like raspberry jam (like a monte cristo) or the midwestern staple: ranch!

Hair in burger.

Went here with a friend of mine and found a hair in my burger! Gros!! Will not be coming here again.

Two words: Double. Don. Don & Millie's is Omaha/Nebraska's In-N-Out. The Double Don is a fantastic fast casual burger. Nice and juicy and doesn't leave you with a greasy gut bomb. The cheese frenchee is also a solid menu item. There's something special about a fried grilled cheese. Very reasonably priced and I am yet to talk about their drinks... 99 cent margaritas and 1.99 long necks. Absolutely cannot be beat. Don & Millie's is no bar or Omaha nightlife, but a great spot to grab a burger and drink before going elsewhere. Brat

Cheese Frenchee!

This is some great fast food. I think it's basically what you would have gotten at the drive up places with girls on roller skates back in the day. They have burgers and fries, nachos and onion rings, etc. I almost always get the cheese frenchee, which is basically a mayo and cheese sandwich that has been breaded and fried, yum!. One thing I really like about this place is that the portion sizes are actually reasonable (who really needs a whole pound of french fries?). I suspect, however, that the reasonable portion sizes were required, because if you ate this food in current American portions you would have a coronary on the spot. This food is /greasy/, I can only eat here about once every two months or so because it takes that long for my arteries to recover. Finally, they have 99 cent margaritas and beers. In college I used to go to Don and Millie's for dinner, and a chance to get a little beer in me before going out to the bars, because I'm a cheap bastard. I really wanted to give this place 4 stars because the food is really, really, yummy and the 99c Margaritas are awesome; but I had to dock it one because of the sick feeling I have for the rest of the day from the sheer amount of grease consumed.

There were a few tables seated, I have to say I'm surprised due to the quality of the food it wasn't packed. Maybe word of mouth will help. Waitress came and took our order, my wife.got a Ceasar Side salad which has broken the mold of expectations of your usual side salad fare. Very fresh ingredients including cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, and a great dressing mixed in. For a side salad the portion was huge. My wife ate some and had me finish the rest. Next came a flavorful spinach Artichoke dip. Not to be repetitive, but once again very fresh vegetables came with the dip along with some flatbread and pita chips. Had a great burger the menu described as a beyond burger and added pecan bacon and mushrooms. Was perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor. My wife had the fish and chips that were cooked to a golden brown, and very juicy and fresh. Both dishes came with excellent fries that were crisp, and not sure how they were seasoned but there was something that added an amazing flavor. Looking forward to another trip back and hoping to try different menu options. They did not disappoint

We showed up around 6:30 with a party of 4 expecting to wait for a table, but were seated right away because we were the only table in the restaurant at that time. We quickly learned why. Waiter was awkward and inattentive. We had to ask several times for our drinks to be refilled. The mahi mahi was delicious, but sides were lacking. Flavorless rice pilaf and Brussels sprouts that were at the same time undercooked and burned. French dip sandwich had good beef and cheese, but the dipping sauce was odd and lacked flavor. Burger was dry and overcooked. Ordered a lime margarita, and when all the other drinks were delivered except that one, the waiter said it was because they were out of lemonade - when delivered, the "lime margarita" was lemonade and tequila. We ordered cheese nachos later to our room, along with their "bread service" and cheesecake. The nachos didn't have anything on them resembling cheese - it's supposed to have a black bean and corn salsa, but it seemed like a corn chowder with black beans added in; they were just gross. The bread is just a couple of hard rolls and cold butter packets. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious, but I'm so sad to have wasted the money and the delivery fee on the rest of it. Between when we arrived and when we left around 7:30, we were one of three tables being served in the whole restaurant. On a Saturday night. Food and service are definitely not worth it.

Theatre was clean, food was great, food service outstanding, theatre was quiet and perfectly lighted. Yes, you have to use your phone to order, but the background on your phone is dark, it is not too hard to keep from bothering other patrons. It helps if you do a tiny bit of homework and order B4 the show starts. Overall, yes, the prices have gone up, but so has everything else. At least the service is quick and quiet, the food is delicious and the customer service at the front desk (Thanks again, Adam) reminds me of the pre-covid days.

The Alamo Drafthouse used to be the place where you could trust that people wouldn't spend the entire movie talking or being on their phones, because it was a core tenet of the place that you would get kicked out for talking or texting etc. All you had to do was raise a card, "and a manager will take care of it." In my experience, this policy really hasn't been enforced much over the last few years, but as of this month, they have confirmed that they no longer care at all. As of now, you have to use your phone to order food or report talking/phone use. The ordering cards are no longer an option, there are no menus at each seat, only a QR code, and all throughout the movie, if you need anything, you're going to have to get your phone out. And once you do, good luck even getting the site to actually load. They have a really hilarious new announcement at the beginning of every movie about how they understand the irony of asking people not to use their phones (except to order), "just don't be a jerk about it." This new mobile-only experience is completely hostile to their customers, and has removed the human element that was a big part of what originally made the Alamo Drafthouse special. B&B theaters offers auditoriums with playgrounds in them, so kids can run around play during the movie. Sadly, a sold out screening at one of those is likely a less distracting movie-going experience than our last several visits to the drafthouse since the changes were put in place.

We sat at a table, to see the folks giving out questions. The booths make viewing difficult. Next time we'll try a booth, as they look more comfortable. Service started out sparse. That poor woman was already slim, and the volume of people, with just one waitress, guaranteed she'd be slimmer by end of night. They got it together and provided some help for her for serving. The staff was good, friendly and enjoyable. I expect that someone was missing that day, as it seemed unusual for the lone waitress. She was even kind enough to apologize to us and ask for patience. That was something I appreciated. The did give us everything we ordered and it was all good, both food and drinks. Not too memorable, but good. The location has immensely high ceilings with movie posters on them. A giant fan keeps the air moving. It was a good and useful appearance. One I appreciated. Parking was easy. Being attached to Alamo Drafthouse, one could find that difficult, but fortunately. The lot is huge, facing north and wrapping around the east side. Trivia was fun. While we didn't do as well as the rest of the mob, we had fun! That, diligent service, reasonable eats and drinks, and easy parking made it an event we will likely attend again. Bonus that one can visit this before or after a movie without leaving the building. I recommend it.

My wife ordered two of their specialty cocktails and they were both very good, I liked the queen bee the best. The marsala chicken was tender and flavored well, and came on a bed of risotto and Brussels sprouts, the sprouts were excellent and all three ingredients worked very well together.
