    GRUNT SNORT WHEEZE
    Kristyn M.

Saturday afternoon. Visiting from out of town in Jan of 21. Still covid times but this place was quiet. The waitress/bartender was great. Helped us with everything we requested. I ordered the Grunt, snort, wheeze burger. With house cooked chips. I really liked it. Burger, egg, jalapeño, and brisket. Had a great taste overall. I didn't want to share the half with the hubby. He had the Saturday special. Smothered tenderloin. I got a couple bites but wasn't too into it. The burgers are the way to go.

Laid back restaurant, welcoming atmosphere. My husband and I stopped here after an interview. I had the Nachos and my husband had the swamp donkey. Both were amazing. The wait staff were friendly and inviting. Will visit again!!

Very cool place to see. Lots of hunting decor that was very impressive to look at and see. Nice selection of beer on tap plus cans. I had the special on Saturday of tenderloin with mash patatoes and beef gravy. I gave it 4 stars based off the food only as it was good but it didnt make me want to brag about it.

I stopped here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how good the meal was. I had the special of a French dip sandwich with tater tots as my side. Highly recommend them. Service was great and didn't take long to get the food.

At first, my family did not want to go due to the fact they could not get past the name, but we finally went, and no one regretted it! I love the food here! This place produces a great vibe, and the survive is great! Very kind staff!

Just not as good as it once was. Last time we ate there. The food was a very poor quality. Don't think we'll be going back again.

The service was great and the servers were very attentive. My 5 year ols son asked why they kept asking if we wanted coffee every couple of mins. Lol. Def will stop here again if we ever find ourselves in Glenwood.

You will want to bring your camera with…read moreyou, even if you're not normally a food photog, because the ambiance and food are made for the perfect pics! My husband and I first visited Memoir for our anniversary, and it was such an awesome experience, especially for a special occasion like that. After we were done doing all of our (admittedly annoying) photography of the awesome ambiance, we finally sat down to order and eat - and the original amazingness didn't stop there! The menu is not gigantic, which I always appreciate - because I get overwhelmed by too many choices. We picked a few things to share, at the recommendation of our server (who was also amazing and made sure we had a great anniversary dinner). They even gave us a card signed by the staff wishing us a great anniversary! Those little extra touches are what really make a dining experience special. We had the Kale and Bacon Dip for an appetizer, which was DECADENTLY delicious. The dip was smooth and silky with a toasty focaccia which went really well together with the two different textures. And we also grabbed the Pork Potstickers, and my oh my, were those fantastic. Delicate potsticker wrapper, with tons of filling, resting in a carrot-ginger dressing that complemented the potsticker fantastically. We were already so pleased, and didn't believe the entrees could top the starters, but they were just as awesome, which should be no surprise. It was easier to share two entrees, because we couldn't decide between two. Our first entree was the Faroe Island Salmon, and it was cooked to perfection, and served atop an indulgent bed of sweet corn risotto that I still dreeeeam about. And our second entree was the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which was a little lighter of a meal, so was great paired with the salmon dish which was a tad heavier. I would recommend either of these dishes! We were SO full at this point but we knew we had to get a dessert since this was a special occasion. We shared the chocolate torte and devoured it, even with our extreme fullness. It was so fluffy and chocolatey and DELISH. From start to finish, this was one of the best meals I've had in Omaha. The service was on point, the eats were out of this world, and the vibe of the interior is something to behold. If you're looking for an awesome place to have a special occasion meal or just a nice dinner on a date night, look no further than Memoir for all of the above!

Named for a beloved pet, pets are allowed in the outdoor seating area. Offering both indoor and outdoor dining area. The hours are now limited: lunch 11-1:30, they now close for the afternoon and then reopens-about 5 PM for dinner. Check hours as they are prone to seasonal fluctuations. They are now also closed on Mondays. This is a very casual, old fashion diner type experience with a full bar. They occasionally have live music in the outside patio area. This destination has been there for decades and not only attract bike trail enthusiasts, but steel horse riders as well! Service is always super pleasant and helpful, and also very casual. Grab your menu, order at the counter, and it's brought out to where you're seated. If you need refills, bring it up to the bar and they'll take care of you. There is a more limited lunch menu and a larger menu for the dinner hours. They have an awesome tenderloin sandwich, and we just love their appetizers that will give you your fried food fix, including the garlic mushrooms, cauliflower, and really great onion rings. Also a recommended location to get your fix for a Barburger, with any combination of toppings, you desire! I'm sure everything on the menu is good, but we came here for wings and boy did they deliver. The house brined wings are Fantastic. We did the extra hot bubba, which is their extra hot sauce fried then grilled In garlic Parmesan, which was so juicy and flavorful and kicked the heat to a perfect amount where it was flavorful but not overbearing. We also did the cactus ranch, which is the medium hot sauce tossed with cactus ranch seasoning, also tried it grilled. Another solid selection that provided a nice amount of heat and flavor. Both were so amazing I can't even say which one I liked more or which one was hotter. The wings are huge, juicy, and came out well-sauced. I filled up after five of mine (my husband tackled them all) and took the rest home. I don't know how to say best wings in Omaha, since I don't live there and haven't tried enough places, but these were some of the best wings we have EVER had, period. And we get wings almost everywhere we go. Also---the hand-cut (you heard me) fries aren't to be passed up on. We tried with the garlic aoili, so good, and a huge basket for $6. Our server was great. They are always busy, so give them some grace. We came during late lunch, got lucky and got seated right away, and it was still a revolving door of people, tables don't sit empty for long. They don't take reservations, and I understand why. They have limited space and when full, you sign up on the Board, there is a bar next door you can also receive a buzzer and go have a few drinks while you wait. This place is definitely worth the wait and we will repeatedly be back when we make it up to Omaha.
