Great location. Restaurant is very clean. Staff is wonderful! Went in to grab a sandwich over lunch and asked for extra veggies, which my sandwich was loaded with (thank you)! Always greeted with a friendly smile and welcome in. Not much of a wait at all today and overall when I've been here in the past they are able to work through the line relatively quickly. Not many locations around that serve Italian beef sandwiches but Picklemans offers one up at a fairly cheap price. I love Pickelmans but probably will not return. It has nothing to do with the food. The issue was we placed a to-go-order got home and were missing a sandwich (the Elkhorn location). Called them as soon as we realized it. They said we could drive back and get it or they would send us a voucher for agree sandwich, we agreed to the voucher. Never received the voucher. After about 3 weeks called them again about the voucher, stated they would get it right out. Have never received either voucher. I feel like this is terrible customer service, so we will not be ordering from them again. read more

My go-to choice for sandwich shop in Omaha! Something about the toasted bread is just unbeatable. I love a #17 chipotle chicken for a little bit of spice, or even the classic #1 turkey. This place has excellent salads, and I now only order salads here. The last time I opted to try a different salad and LOVED it! If you like salads, this is a place to try! We recently stopped here for a quick lunch to go while out running errands. It's conveniently located right off 204th and Pacific and even has a drive thru! Both my wife and I ordered their Chicken Asiago club sandwich which you can get on either white or wheat bread (or if you want without bread, on a lettuce wrap). She added on their tomato basil soup and I tried the broccoli cheddar soup. Both of sandwiches were warm upon arriving home (about a 10 minute drive). They were toasted perfectly so the bread was crispy but not burnt and everything inside was melted together well. Their homemade sauce on this sandwich was rich and creamy - an excellent compliment to the rest of the ingredients. The reason I gave this place 4 stars was because of the soups. Both unfortunately left us a little underwhelmed. The tomato soup wasn't bad, but also didn't wow us. The broccoli cheddar to me was very watered down. I'm not sure if this was just a runny batch, or if this is how it's typically made, but I was a little bummed because I usually love broccoli cheddar soup. I'm willing to give it another try, but for now 4 stars it is simply for the soup quality. read more

Not sure why the company moved to a new app for ordering because it is terrible. The staff just blames it on corporate but don't seem to capable of in person orders with variations on the options. I love Picklemans and their variety of food. The food and ingredients are good quality and always taste good...when I get the right order. This location specifically needs to train their employees better...or get a new staff. A simple #17 chipotle chicken (chicken, provolone, lettuce and chipotle sauce) and add avocado should not be hard to memorize. I have never had a rude experience but more so that employees are not paying attention to customers. This is the second time they messed up my order. The first time mistake I got chicken, chipotle sauce, and tomato which I can only assume that it is lack of training. Today I ordered the same thing and had a half right half wrong sandwich. It was like they combined two into one? Drove all the way back to get it re-made. One of the employees, Zach, was incredibly helpful, understanding, and nice and fixed the mistake quickly. He also informed is manager and the management team was very nice as well. read more

This was my first visit to the Elkhorn location. The place is clean and parking is a bit tricky during the lunch hour, cars are lined up outside to use the drive through. Once inside, you go up to the counter and place your order. The #18 tuna is very fresh, bread is toasted, cut, and individually wrapped when you order a whole sandwich. The food is brought to your table within minutes. Our table was unbalanced but that was the only complaint I have with Picklemans. Overall, a good lunch visit at the Elkhorn location. read more

My husband and I really enjoy a Pickleman's sandwich but tonight I had an issue that was somewhat off putting. I stopped in to get take out and ordered 2 #5 sandwiches. This sandwich comes with cheese and since I don't care for cheese I asked the kid to just put my cheese on my husbands sandwich. He had to ask the manager if that was ok and the manager said only if I pay for extra cheese. Told him that made absolutely no sense, since technically that was my cheese and I was not really asking for ANYTHING extra. However he insisted that's their policy. I was pretty annoyed to say the least. Maybe this seems trivial but sometimes it's the small things that make a difference. New spot out in West Omaha. Not you typical sub shop, solid selection of East Coast style selection, most can go salad. I usually gauge a sub shop by their Italian. Wasn't disappointed, not a huge, but very solid. Pizza selection seems to be pretty good as well. Haven't tried, but will and let you know. Price was surprising. I went to the Elkhorn location and the food was good, but the service with all these young kids is horrible. Not my first trip there and its the same each time I have been there. They take the order fast on the sandwich making side before it goes into the oven if you want it heated. But the side where it comes out. They move like molasses in the winter. Nothing like watching my food get cold while they talk and dont move fast enough. I am not sure if there is a manager in there. But someone needs to make them hustle. I am not spending $15.00 each meal any more on bad service. I have been there more then once and its always my stuff sitting there getting cold and a slow individual with no ambition. Today was my first experience with Pickleman's. My grandson and I got there about 11:30 and were immediately welcomed by staff members. I ordered the BLTC and he ordered the Italian sub.
