Double Zero is a hidden gem in Elkhorn. We've ordered take out many times, but this was our first visit to the restaurant itself. The food is always incredible- fresh, hot, perfectly crisp pizza with both fun specialty options and classic favorites. One thing you don't want to miss on the menu is the wings! I can't recommend the sweet heat wings enough. The sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the breading is delicious in every bite. Honestly, I would not come here without ordering them! Looking for the perfect way to top off your meal? The Cinnamon Wedgies are dangerously addictive. They may look like a typical cinnamon dough dessert, but watch out-they are absolutely fantastic! The service was quick and on point, and the restaurant has a fun sports bar atmosphere with a great patio space. This is easily one of my favorite meals in Omaha.. you have to try it! read more

YUM. How have we not been here before? I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of unique options. We split two personal pizzas: the crab Rangoon and the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. These were both delicious, especially the buffalo chicken! The only downfall is that it took a loooong time for our pizzas to come out, even though there were only two other pizzas there. Blink and you might miss this great pizza joint hiding in an unassuming strip mall in Elkhorn. Highlights for us were the casual atmosphere (with plenty of TVs to watch the big game), the friendly service staff, and the unique pizza offerings. We loved the Porky's Revenge, enjoyed the Combo, and were intrigued by the Pesto Chicken, which were all served on thin crust, piping hot right out of the oven. Have been wanting to try Double Zero for awhile now and we finally made it. Mondays are BOGO!! We ordered a large combo and a large pepperoni. For your BOGO pizza, you get a free cheese or you can add toppings and just pay the difference. We only had to pay $4 for the pepperoni. The pizza was so good! The crust was thin and crispy with toppings spread throughout. They have a big pizza oven they cook the pizzas in! They have TVs all over with sports on and have several beers on tap! The service is very friendly and quick as well. They don't only have pizzas, they have burgers, fries, and salads too! I'm glad we were finally able to try Double Zero. The whole family loved it. Outstanding Pizza, Incredible service! New to the area but absolutely worth the drive if needed.

When a certain manager or owner is on... don't know what he actually is... everything is phenomenal! The pizza is always great! However, this is how the 3rd time I have left with no food for dine in while the entire staff hung out around the counter. A server came by and even cleaned the table next to me. Would never leave a bad review on a one time experience, however, this is a trend. I would give it 5/5 on take out (never done take out), and 2/5 on dine in. Tonight was the 3rd time I walked out and Went to either Addys or QDOBA for dinner after waiting 15 mins with no greet. 2 tables in the entire place were seated. read more

The pies were awesome, but what was even better was the kindness of the staff as when I arrived 5 minutes early to pickup a couple pizzas to go after driving 9 hours from Colorado they provided me with a beer on the house. I then wished the pizza wasn't ready right away so I could have caught a few minutes of all the games on that evening in a very nice setting. We will be back next time to eat in house! read more

Tonight I convinced my daughter to branch out and try something new! We haven't been to double zero before, but had been to the previous pizza spot there so expected the walk up ordering. We were able to find a seat right away, and got there about 7:30-ish on a Saturday night. It was nice to see they serve you at your seats now, instead of the walk up and order style! We were taken care of by every staff there, and they all seemed to enjoy their work and were helpful! We started with the garlic fries, they were really yummy! The bottom of the bowl was a little soupy with the garlic topping settling there, so some of the fries towards the bottom were too much to eat, but it didn't bother us! My daughter had the kids cheese pizza, and was so excited about how big it was! The taste was great, she had no complaints and asked when we could go back. I tried the Italian calzone. It was good, I'll be honest though, I was expecting a little more toppings besides just meat in the calzone. It did look like maybe diced onions may have been in there, but I couldn't taste them. I still enjoyed the calzone, and would order it again, just would probably ask for some other toppings inside in the future! Overall, a great Saturday night dinner! read more

My family and I stopped here for some pizza last week that we were carrying out on our way to my sister's house. The online ordering system is pretty efficient and easy to use. At first it looks a little overwhelming because they have every pizza and every size there, rather than drop downs. But I was able to place the order in a couple minutes and set it for pickup later in the day. When I got to the restaurant, I was immediately helped at the counter and my order was waiting for me. While I was picking up, the manager chatted with me for a short time, and it's clear that he really enjoys his work and is interested in the success of the business. For the food, we got the buffalo chicken pizza, the breakfast pizza and a personal combination pizza, with a side of cheese sticks. I'm sorry that I forgot to take pictures before we started eating it, but the pizza was calling my name by the time I got to my sister's place. The pizzas were thin crust, thick enough to hold all the toppings but still thin with a crispy buttery edge. There was a pretty hefty amount of toppings on each pizza. I was pretty satisfied with each of the items that we got. Pizza's here are a little bit pricier than other standard fast places, but for sit down eateries and especially wood fired pizzas, the pricing was very reasonable in the food is well worth what you pay for it. The cheese sticks are absolutely huge for the price. I'm looking forward to coming back here again and trying some of the other flavors that they have, and I would recommend this place to anyone else. One thing to note is that your hands will have a bit of char after you are done. Pretty standard with wood fire pizza, but it took a couple days to get it off my fingers. read more

Tried Double Zero to use the Monday free cheese pizza offer. (Note: the BOGO is offered on Double Zero's Facebook page, but not on its web page.) Paired it with a Margherita pizza. Pizzas were ready at the appointed time and 00 kept them in a warming bag, which was a nice touch. Friendly service. Both pizzas were excellent. Crust on the thinnish side, nicely done. The cheese pizza met with approval from both the kids and the adults. Hard to find one that hits the sweet spot for all parties. Eager to try pepperoni down the road, but the Margherita was fine. It's expensive, so I don't think we will return at full price. The Monday BOGO is doable, and will keep an eye peeled for other offers too. read more

Highly recommended. Came in here Christmas Eve. The atmosphere and employees were inviting. The garlic cheese bread is enough for at least 4 people. It's a thin crust so not too much bread. The dipping marinara was tasty to me. Hubs thought it was on the sweet side. I had the original Danwich and was very glad I chose it. I brought 1/2 home. Location is great for West O folks, picking up a hot pie on the way home after...Village Point, Cheerleading/Gymnastics, The Mark, etc. Always consistently Hot pizza, fresh out of the over. One of my kids despises pizza, but the burgers and pasta scratch that itch. Can't say I have a favorite pie, but everything including your basic Pepperoni is a solid hit. read more

Came in today at 6:15 after a Husker game day, the place was packed. Waitress took our drink and appetizer order within a couple minutes of sitting down. Drinks and appetizers came out within a reasonable amount of time and they apologized that they were a little slow tonight. The takeout line was considerably 10 deep in a running cycle and the restaurant stayed busy. Owner came around to check on us 3 times and apologized for the wait time. The waitress took great care of us and was apologetic every time. The place was slammed for 2 1/2 hours but drinks were stocked and we were fine waiting. Delicious, fresh food is just the start here. The owner approached our table mid way through our meal and was friendly and welcoming. He noticed we were watching two specific volleyball games on iPads, and without us having to ask, he put the game on the TVs in the restaurant. What a thoughtful and generous thing to do! The food here is excellent. I got The Cupper pizza, and my mom got the Farm calzone. Finally, we finished with the cinnamon wedgies for dessert. All were excellent and hot. And on this Monday evening, the only reason the spousal unit and I ate here was because a different pizza place I wanted to try is closed on Mondays. I wish I had eaten here sooner. I'm glad we stopped in tonight. We ordered a large White Chicken and got the Monday special (BOGO L or XL and get a cheese pizza). The spousal unit and I both liked the White Chicken a lot. She didn't care for the cheese pizza, but I liked it. The crust on both was really good and baked just right. Besides "normal" pizzas, Double Zero has an assortment of unique pizzas which I intend to sample next time. If your go-to restaurant is closed on Mondays, or if you want to try a new pizza place, stop into Double Zero. read more

This place is VERY good! Easily in the top of my list for best pizza in Omaha. I'm a picky eater so take most of my reviews with caution but not if I'm reviewing pepperoni pizza. Double Zero uses excellent ingredients that are quality. The Brian's song has a great cream cheese sauce that's inexplainable but unique and delicious. The ghost pepper cheese bread is insane.. not overly spicy whatsoever but just right. This is a must try pizza joint for all the pizza lovers in the Omaha area! We wanted to get pizza for Pi day and Double Zero had an awesome deal of buy a large pizza get a free large cheese pizza. You can't go wrong with that deal. When I went to pick up the pizza there was a mix up and they accidentally gave my pizzas to a different "Chad" she called him and gave him the correct pizzas. She was very apologetic and they remade my pizzas. Mistakes happen and it's all in how the business responds. They did an excellent job and the pizza was fantastic as usual. I wanted to so love this place! I went in and a nice younger guy came up and took my order. I went up to get the wifi password and honest to god I have never seen a filthier restaurant in my life. It was noon on a Friday and I was the only one there. When I say filthy, I mean it. The health dept no doubt would have shut them down. Dirt, dust, crumbs, on the glass in front of counter, on the counter, on the floor, layers of dust in wine glasses stacked up, dirt and spills all around the soda machine. I couldn't bear to really look at the kitchen. I had already placed my order to stay. I told him I wanted it to go and said I had never seen such filth. I don't really write reviews but this demanded it. I should have asked for my money back, but I just took the pizza and threw it away when I got home. Whoever owns this ....this wasn't a day or two of lax cleaning. It was FILTH. Never ever again. I should have taken pics. I am still considering calling the Health Dept. it's that bad. read more

What a fantastic place to try! All of us loved the Pepperoni based Brian's Song, and both my wife and I really enjoyed the Thai Peanut (a little, but really good kick). Stopped in with my whole family tonight after a recommendation from a friend. Definitely did not disappoint! It's your typical wood-fire pizza oven place but with such a unique menu it makes you want to try it all! I wish I had taken a picture of everything because it was all delicious. I had the meat calzone which was one the best I've had in a lone time. Very light and flavorful crust, loaded with toppings but not overly greasy at all. It came with a side of marinara dipping sauce. My wife had the gyro pizza which was a little spicy for me but she really enjoyed it. Again, light flaky crust and full of flavorful toppings. Very good portion sizes as well so if you order an individual, you'll likely have some leftovers. I will note, My brother in law ordered the hot pepper pizza, which they note is very hot, and he will attest it truly is very hot! So be warned if you do not handle heat well :) Lastly, their cinnamon dough dessert is a delicious blend of cinnamon, sugar, and deep fried pizza dough - what's not to love?! Was sitting at the house with a friend watching some Star Trek and decided to get pizza. We didn't want run-of-the-mill chain pizza, so we both started scrolling and decided on Double Zero Pizzaria. We ordered 1 large Combo no mushrooms on one half. And 2 salads. 1 Ceasar with Ceasar dressing and one house salad with Ceasar dressing. We ordered online, and Door Dash fulfilled it. The estimated delivery time was 90-95 minutes. The actual delivery was more like 45 to 50 minutes. That was awesome. So I go to the door and see just the pizza. No salads. Sad day. I called them up, and they were expecting the call as they'd realized the mistake. I was irritated by the situation but drove to pick them up. When I got there, the manager met me and was very apologetic. He even kicked in dessert & cheese bread. That was also awesome. The pizza was good and loaded, but the crust in the center was either under done or had gotten soggy due to waiting an extra 40 minutes for me to run there and back. It still had good flavor, and the crust ends were flavorful and chewy. The salads were 2 Ceasars instead of one being a house with Ceasar but no biggie. They were ok. The cheese bread came with 2 dipping cups of marinara sauce. It was delicious. And the cinnamon bites were amazing. I'd definitely try them again, but maybe avoid the 3rd party delivery and pick it up. read more
