Visited for dinner for the first time this evening. The restaurant features a modern design and offers a spacious, comfortable atmosphere. Orders are placed at the counter, and the food is brought to your table. Our meals arrived in under 10 minutes. I ordered the garlicky chicken, served with garlic potatoes, pickles, and relish, along with a cup of mushroom soup. The dish was served hot; the chicken was well-roasted with a rich garlic flavor, and the potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. While the menu is not extensive, it offers a variety of options to suit different preferences. The staff provided attentive and exceptional service throughout our visit. The produce is all very fresh, the dishes are well-seasoned, and the pita is warm, fresh, and not bland like so many others. I ordered a side of lamb Shawarma and it was so greasy. I understand lamb is usually not a lean meat, but it was dripping with grease and I had to use several napkins to soak up some of it. A bright spot was the watermelon radishes on the veggie plate. I see these so infrequently when I'm dining out and it was a lovely surprise and also added beautiful color to the plate. Meddys is a modern, casual restaurant in the Village Point shopping center. I love this spot! The portions are HUGE and the atmosphere is fun and light. I ordered the Meddys Main Plate and it was so colorful. The Spanish Eggplant side surprised me when it came out as it was served like a soup. I was pleased to find the mixture was warm and hearty. I had the lamb and it was delicious, and so tender. I got to try the hummus and it was also really tasty. We waited in a short line to order. I like that they have paper menus to review while you wait, so ordering is quick. Once seated there are several staff members to refill waters and run orders. When we went it was a beautiful evening and they had the patio doors open to let in some fresh air. They also serve complementary pita bread and olive oil. I have to mention the amazing price point. My entree was around $17 and was excellent quality. The portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh. I would highly recommend Meddys! read more

The portions here at Meddys are a real driver to bring me back. $45 for both meals and baba ghanoush, then they bring out complimentary bread where you can enjoy with oil and seasoning at the table. The salmon was light and zesty, with the veggies being perfectly cooked and seasoned. My only note: the booth seat was a bit short, so it wasn't really comfortable.... Meddys never disappoints! I visited on a week night, was able to order and quickly grab a table. The weather was amazing for March but the patio filled up quickly, I was still able to grab a table close to the open doors which was nice. Staff promptly delivered pita to enjoy while we waited for our main course, which didn't take long to arrive. I'll start by saying I'm a picky eater, so a good portion of the menu doesn't really appeal to me--but if your palate has evolved beyond that of a 5-year-old, you'll probably be more than fine. I ordered the big bowl with chicken as my protein and asked for the relish to be left off, which they accommodated easily with no issues. The portion size was great. You order at the counter when you first walk in and they bring your food to you. They have a lot of options that you choose which protein you want chicken, beef, salmon or falafel. While waiting for our food they brought out some pita bread, there is oil and za'atar seasoning on the table to have with it. I had the rice bowl with Salmon, huge portion with a good amount of protein. My fiancé got the hummus bowl with chicken, the hummus was so smooth and flavorful. This was our second time ordering Meddy's, and I continue to be impressed. We each had a shawarma; I had the chicken shawarma. The meat inside is super tender, flavorful, and plentiful! I stopped in for lunch with my sister on a weekday. I had the Shawarmbaa, which was super flavorful and satisfying. The only downside was realizing sides aren't included with this option--you have to order those separately. My sister tried the Garlicky Chicken and was immediately impressed by the bold flavors. By happy accident, we tried the Garlicky Chicken plate. This thing is ridiculously good. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the potatoes with that garlic and crunch. But the star may be their garlic dip. Give me a bowl of that stuff. So good! Also tried some of the desserts. The crème brûlée and triple chocolate mousse shined bright, while the Grande Finale was a bit of a miss for us. It can get a little loud at times, but you can still hold a conversation. Wow wow wow, what an incredible addition to the Village Pointe area! This restaurant is an elevated quick service meal, that is one of the best Mediterranean food places I've had in awhile. You order up front, and then you seat your self with a number card. There was lots of seating inside and outside, but the place definitely fills up quickly. I loved how there was even a bar if you wanted a little drink with your meal. There were lots of options whether you were gluten free, vegan, etc. They even had gf pita, which I was excited for. Everything is decently priced, and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. I went with the garlicky chicken. It was so crispy, and moist. The sauce was very garlicky, but I love garlic so was happy. The hummus was one of the best tasting hummuses I've ever had. I did try some of their free sauces, and the red pepper aioli was one of my favorites. The service was also incredible. The staff checked on us multiple times throughout our meal, and got us refills whenever we were getting low on our drinks. I didn't do any research before going here. I was looking for mediterranean food and this popped up as a highly rated spot. We went in on a Saturday night and it was not as I had expected. They have a line that you wait in before you can go up to the counter to order your food. When we got there in the evening of Saturday this place was PACKED. The line was out the door onto the sidewalk. We waited for around 20 mins in line to order our food. I ordered the hummus bowl with the peta chips and my fiancé got the garlicky chicken and we shared a side of the hummus with half peta bread and chips. After you order you sit and they give you a table number. While we were waiting for our food a server came around with complimentary peta bread which I feel they give out to those who are waiting for a certain amount of time. We only waited another 10 minutes for our food to come out hot. The garlicky chicken is a big serving and so is the hummus bowl. Looking back we could have done without the side of hummus and just shard my hummus bowl. The hummus had a nice nutty flavor to it and everything tasted real good. If you are planning on going here I would recommend going on a night they are not as busy or not during one of their rush hours so you don't have to wait in line so long and the place isn't as loud. It gives higher end casual. Great for a date and a family dinner. They also offer alcohol at their wide spanning bar. The food!! The flavors, the portions, the attention to details! I highly recommend Meddy's main plate - the chicken was delightful. I also enjoyed the falafels and hummus. I appreciate they aren't skimpy with the pita bread, as well. I really don't think you can beat price per portion here, it's quite affordable. This is an absolute must try if you enjoy Mediterranean food. This location does not specifically one region of food, but a variety of flavors and plates. As a vegetarian, this is an absolute heaven for options. The environment is lively, a bit cramped, but the plethora of tables allows you to always have options for seating. I ordered the falafel plate, which included a choice of salad, the house hummus, pita or chips, and also a bowl of the Spanish eggplant. The falafels themselves are fresh, full of herbs, and with a well blended inside that made them not fall apart but stay together more like falafel nuggets. The outside was crispyyy and delicious! If you've ever made your own hummus, you'll be able to identify this hummus is made and not store bought! The thinner, yet creamy, texture has a strong tahini and lemon flavor without being overhearing. Paired with the endless amount of pita being brought around.. you could truly just fill up on that alone! The pita is definitely one of the main draws here considering it is fluffy and you can open it up to stuff with hummus or protein. My family absolutely loves it, and the servers walk around supplying tables constantly with new batches! We even requested some to-go with our leftovers and they happily complied. My brother ordered the chicken and was shocked by the portion sizes! The potatoes on the side were perfectly crispy and seasoned. My cousin and my mom both order the chicken and rice bowl repeatedly, in love with the flavors and portion size! My cousin is picky too, so her repeatedly returning for a dish is a special compliment to say the least. The service was kind, speedy, and thoughtful! They moved people through the order lines quickly and were mindful to clear the table when necessary to create a clean space to stay and chat. Due to the nature of the establishment, it seems that servers get paid a bit of a higher hourly wage (as advertised on a poster) which made me feel comfortable sitting and chatting without feeling like I was taking up a table that they could be 'turning' and making money on. This made me feel very relaxed as a fellow server. Genuinely a new family favorite, I visited less than a week ago and my family has already been requesting to return with me! The place can be seen from the street which made it super easy to find. Alright, now the food... I highly recommend! I ordered the hummus bowl. The hummus is so creamy and smooth. My mom got the salmon bites with it and the salmon was tender. I was worried it would be overcooked like most restaurants. The chicken was juicy as well. The tiramisu comes in a small jar.
