I had seen all the tasty looking posts of dishes covered in sauce from Gyro Kings, and this sauce loving girl had to try them. We order via Door Dash two different times. Once I got the Gyro Sandwich and the second time, we each got the Kings Combo Meat Loaded Fries. The sauce was plentiful as everyone had said, but the chicken part of the combo meat was pretty dry. The gyro meat was great, so I just focused on that and ate around the chicken. We ordered a few extra King Sauces and that helped the dryness a bit. The sauce was tasty and tangy. The second disappointing thing I noticed was an almost freezer burned taste to both the fries and on both the meats. I'm not sure if that's just the spices they use, maybe, but it definitely had a freezer taste to it. If I ordered from them again, I think I'd stick with only the gyro meat (no chicken), and get it over rice with extra King Sauce.
I got the combo platter with both sauces and my 14 year old got the gyro sandwich with fries. The place is clean, the service was prompt and friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. Not crazy about the fries. They weren't bad but I've had better. My 14 year old can be picky and he had never had gyro before and even he approved. We'll be back!
This is hands down the best food I've had in a long time. Get the #7 combo platter! They gave us a little sample before we ordered it, and it blew me away with how flavorful it is. Even just the rice by itself is super delicious. We also got the #8 because we'd been looking for something like a halal snack pack. It was yummy, but the combo platter was even better. Also love how the staff greet you when you walk in. Everyone was really nice and friendly. Check out the chalkboard too - it's fun to see what people draw and write. Chill vibes.

I found this place on DoorDash, and decided to try it. The reviews seemed pretty good. I then arrived and the moment I stepped into the shop, I could tell my food was gonna slap. There was a lively bunch of people of all different ethnicities there - ambience 10/10-, all patiently waiting for their food while the 4 men behind the counter worked tirelessly and efficiently to give them their food. Despite the chaos and crowd, the staff remained friendly, kind, and accommodating, which I really loved to see. Then there's the food - soo yum!!! And like the other reviews point out, HUGE portions (I have enough for my lunch today). It was appropriately drenched in that yummy white sauce, but I'm a saucey person. I preferred the beef more because the chicken tasted a little more dry, but regardless it was still fantastic. I'd go back for sure!
Oooh yea, this is good! I'd been hearing a lot of great things about this place, so I finally decided to give it a try--and it did not disappoint! Everything lived up to the hype.
I have been dying to try this spot. My husband was in the area so I asked him to pick me up a combo platter. The flavor was so good. The sauce had a little kick. Everything was seasoned perfectly, even the pita bread. There is a bed of yellow rice with chicken and gyro meet, and a salad on side. All covered in kings sauce. Delicious. Enough food for 2 people. Time they build one out west. Also my picture doesn't do it justice.
We were super happy we stumbled upon Gyro Kings. No one was in the restaurant when we arrived causing us to raise our eyebrows a bit, but don't let that steer you away. The employees were patient and helpful while we absorbed the menu options. We ended up ordering two gyro combos and were satisfied to say the least. Unlike most gyro places, they're very generous with portion sizes and they do not skimp on the sauce and fillings. The fries were cooked to order making them as fresh as they can get. Happily burning our mouths on the drive home because we simply couldn't wait to dig in. Hoping this place gets the customer flow and recognition it very much deserves. Highly recommend!!!
Very naughty, very tasty. Definitely worth a visit. Owners are very friendly and keep the place clean. Price is reasonable and portions are large. Definitely worth a visit and it's a nice twist from traditional Greek.
My family and I really like Greek food and wanted to try something new. We live in Valley so it was about 30 minute drive. As we were walking into the restaurant there was an accident in the parking lot right outside their front door. I thought a little free entertainment before we walked into the restaurant. When we walked in they asked if we had been there before. We told them no so they gave us a sample. We ordered at the counter and sat down to eat. That is when the commotion started. The two ladies from the different cars who got into the accident came in to get their food. They were yelling at each other and may have used some adult language at each other. The workers had to ask them to leave if they kept it up. They finally got their meals and left. Anyhow we all loved our meals and chuckled at the entertainment. The workers were so nice, the food was really good and the portions were large (we had take home). Felt like we got the value for our money. Everything was great. It was later in the evening so the floors were a little dirty but that would be my only negative. We will be back, in my opinion was really a good experience and the food and the friendliness of the workers deserve a 5 star rating.
This place is BOMB! You get so much food for the price too. This is easily two meals. I got the combo platter with gyro meat and chicken. The fries were good too. Love their rice and sauce.
Last night I finally got to get back to the restaurant and just like first visit, everything was very good. Nice, quick service and very good food. I'll be back again soon. I again ordered the Gyro meat and chicken platter. Next time I definitely need to try the rice pudding or get a baklava. read more

First time here and the service was fantastic from the moment I walked in! I asked for recommendations and ended up with the combo platter. Not only did i get my order super quick, but I also got a full plate. The seasoning in the meats, the creamy sauce, and the refreshing salad were out of this world read more

Oh my... if I could eat here every night I would. When I pulled up there were about thirty people inside the little store front. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and efficient. It's a bang for your buck with the HUGE portion sizes. This place is a must stop. read more
Give this place a try! I went with the classic gyro and wasn't disappointed...the portions were huge, meat was tender and sauces pushed it over the top. The meat was much juicier and tender than other gyro spots I've visited. To top it off, the restaurant was clean and the staff was remarkably friendly. It's been a hot minute since we've indulged ourselves with meat on a spindle... and Gyro Kings didn't disappoint! #6 is where it's at! One with falafel (mmmm) and the other traditional, with chicken schwarma. We tried their house sauce, and he may have said it's a 3/10 spice level wise... I think he meant 6/10 I'm also a ween with hot foods, so probably a 3/10 heat wise. If ya haven't gone and checked them out yet (just opened in the old Sam's Gyro place off Saddlecreek four months ago), try them! Lots of seating available if you wanna dine in or take out, like we did. They'd MOST DEFINITELY appreciate the support from the foodie scene! read more

Absolutely outstanding. I got the chicken over rice, everything on it, and it's up there with one of the best I've ever had. I've been to so many spots like this in different cities and countries, and this is easily top 5. The rice and chicken are so well seasoned and very tender, and the sauces are delicious. The portion is huge so it's perfect for dinner and lunch the next day. I also got a slice of baklava and it's a generous portion, so flavorful and light, and not too sweet like a lot of baklava tends to be. I'll drive 25 minutes out of my way to get this any day. read more
Definitely my new favorite spot to go to!! Smelled sooooo good when you walked in and more and more people were coming in!! They were so nice and even gave us a sample of their combo platter and it was AMAZINGGGGGGG!!! Didn't even ask for the sample and they were so nice for us to try it!!! Their chicken and gyro meat was soooo good, you are missing out if you haven't tried it!! Their fries were also perfect seasoning that paired so well dipping it in their own Kings sauce and Tzatziki sauce, along with the pita bread, I cannot get enough of their homemade pita bread!!! Can't forget about their rice either, it pored so well with the platter and the meat with the sauce and lettuce, tomato, and onion!! You can also add feta cheese on top too! There's parking in the front and few tables inside if you want to sit down and eat. They also have baklava that I need to make sure to get next time I am in there! I found this place on Yelp and decided to try it. Yelp did not disappoint. Entering the parking lot, there is a lot to be desired; however, don't judge a book by its cover. When I entered, I was undecided by what I wanted because everything looked and smelled delicious. Shavi assisted me in deciding what to order and he even allowed me to sample the combo platter. After sampling the combo, I knew this was my only choice. You definitely get your money's worth as well. There are seating options inside, but opted to take my food to go. The food came out piping hot and it's served with rice and a side of pita bread. Although, I'm just visiting Omaha, this is definitely a place I would highly recommend. The customer service was also great! If you haven't tried Gyro Kings, be sure to check them out. You won't regret it! read more

Delicious! I had the #7 combo platter like most people! It was my first time & the very nice gentleman behind the counter gave me a sample of their best seller (#7 platter). I asked for no onions on the salad & he gave me cucumber- salad was fresh & cold. IYKYK .. it's smaller on the inside but it was clean.. the employees were clean, clean clothes & super nice. Gyro King by far has the best gyros in town. They do not skim on meat, toppings, or anything else. It is definitely worth the money that you pay for it and I have never been disappointed. The service there is great. It's a quick easy in and out and nothing over the top. Now this is not a sit down restaurant with a bunch of room or tables but serves as a great spot on Leavenworth to stop by and grab some food to go. I compare all other gyros I eat to this now if that tells you how good they are. read more
