Clio is easily one of the more interesting restaurants we've tried in Omaha lately. The food feels elevated and intentional without crossing into the territory where you're paying $30 for three bites of something and leaving hungry. We started with the sourdough pita and baba ganoush, which I would absolutely order again. The pita was warm, chewy, and actually had flavor on its own, and the baba ganoush was smoky, creamy, and one of those things you keep eating even after you've told yourself to stop because your entrée is coming. And when they ask if you want more sourdough pita and you say no, just know you're making a mistake and should just say yes. For dinner, we ordered the lamb tagine and branzino. The lamb tagine was the standout for my husband. It has an amazing rich glaze, warm, incredibly flavorful but not gamey, and exactly the kind of dish I want when I'm going somewhere specifically to eat good food I can't make at home. There was a lot going on flavor-wise, but it all made sense. Nothing felt thrown onto the plate just to make it seem more sophisticated. The branzino was the complete opposite in a good way. Lighter, delicate, and really well prepared. Perfect crispy skin. If you're deciding between the two, get the lamb if you want something rich and comforting and the branzino if you want something fresher and lighter. Or go with someone who will share and avoid making responsible decisions altogether. I also had the Sicilian Spritz, which was bright, refreshing, and paired really well with the Branzino. Not obnoxiously sweet, which I appreciate immensely in a cocktail. Overall, Clio knows what it's doing, which is apparent by the fact this is their second location. The menu is interesting without being intimidating, the food is beautifully done without feeling pretentious, and the whole experience feels special enough for a date night while still being somewhere I'd happily go just because I wanted really good food. Definitely worth trying, and for the love of all that is holy, get extra pita. read more

Highly recommend going during their happy hour from 2-6pm where you can try their mezze dip sampler. This dips are a must if you are going with other people. The sourdough pita bread was a little flat and dry, but the dips are still fun to try. My other favorite is the yellowtail crudo. If you like sushi and can tolerate a little spice, then this is also a must try! I like how there's a little sweetness from the thinly sliced grapes and heat from the jalapeno. This dish was my waiter's favorite too. The fattoush salad was OK and the salmon kabob was perfectly tender. Turkish dumplings were good as well. Overall, I would come back and would recommend their cold mezze appetizers over their main dishes. Those were the star of the show! read more

Everybody undoubtedly loves a stop in at the beautiful clio's restaurant -- no matter if you're into the food or not, the beauty of the atmosphere is too big of a draw not to experience at least once! FOOD : I've been to the downtown location and have loved it, so I knew what to expect coming in but there's always small differences at each location. We started out with the mixed dip plate with a side of sourdough (tip : you can request gf pitas!!). We started with all four spreads and I thought they were all delicious, but wasn't a huge fan of the lentil based dip that is red/orange color, I think it's the muhammara -- just didn't care for the pasty flavor. The other dips were light and full of flavor and I loved how they complimented each other. The sourdough pitas came out cold which was a bit of a bummer as they are exceptional and soft when they are warm. I went with the brazino plate and I am very happy I did! The fish was crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. It didn't have a "fishy" taste and I was really happy with my choice. The saffron rice is a classic and the pairing of fermented veggies on the side only emphasized the fresh, light and delicious flavor. Compared to the downtown location I wasn't as big of a fan overall of the food experience, though I deeply enjoyed my plate. A lot of aspects were not as fresh as the downtown location which was a bit of a bummer. I also got the non alcoholic "wine" which was absolutely DELICIOUS! Tasted like the real thing and the brand/ingredients were top notch. Overall I will definitely get the brazino again and am so glad I went with it. SERVICE : we had a great experience in this department and the gal who was dealing with our table of 10 did an outstanding job and was supremely helpful! read more

It was girls night out and two of us had experienced Clio and two of us did not. We arrived early enough for happy hour so we took advantage of the 4 hummus tasting and drinks. I'm a real big fan of fresh veggies and hummus and they did not disappoint! We also ordered the dumplings and chicken skewer. Service was amazing they checked on us all night. Beautiful atmosphere light colors. Flowers all so very cozy. Unfortunately we were asked ro leave because they had prior reservations so that tells you we stayed longer than normal. read more

The second location is just as good as the first. They have the same menu and the same general decor, but in a different location, servicing another part of town. I particularly love the fried potato dish as well as the beets! You have to try the four dip sample platter as well. read more

Just as good as the downtown location! This one has the same vibe and took over the old Blatt. They were busy on a recent Friday night. I highly recommend the for sour and 4 spreads but so many wonderful options to choose from. read more

Clio officially has a second location in the Shops of Legacy, and the food is every bit as good as downtown. The muhammara, crispy potatoes, and beef kefta were all excellent -- flavorful, well-executed, and perfect for sharing. Drinks were great too. This place just consistently delivers. My only gripe: I requested patio seating and was seated inside without any explanation. I could have let that go, but they also sat me in a plain corner with nothing but white walls -- meanwhile there's a much more atmospheric section of the restaurant just... right there. For a spot with real ambiance potential, it was a bit of a letdown on the seating front. Food and drinks? Solid 5 stars. The seating experience knocked it down a notch for me. Will absolutely be back, but next time I'm advocating harder for my table. read more

Absolutely fabulous addition to the west Omaha food scene. If you've been to the Old Market location you know what to expect, and if you haven't you are in for a treat. The 4 dips is usually a must have for us but we wanted to try something different this time so got the cauliflower and were so glad we did - its a sleeper hit! The cauliflower dances right up to the line of too salty but the dates and muhammara dip balance it out. Pro tip - get extra pita to mop up the leftover dip. The crispy potatoes are a solid, reliable, can't-go-wrong staple as well as were the chicken kebabs. The branzino is a bit more rare of a find in Omaha and they do a really nice job with it. The decor is light are airy and I envision the outdoor patio being packed once the weather cooperates. We were there opening weekend and staff was on point- many floating in from sister restaurants to make sure everything got started on the right foot. read more

To start off the interior is so fun and inviting you feel you've entered another country. We started off receiving the best service from our waiter going above and beyond our every need/want/desire. Unfortunately we devoured the food as soon as it hit the table because it was so delicious, fresh and bomb dot com on flavor and quality. And since we didn't want to leave we had to get another drink. Highly recommend for a go to spot for good drinks and even better food!! read more

1. Their fattoush is so delicious. Add a little bit of the dressing it comes with and you won't regret it 2. Chicken kabob plate: WOW! So flavorful. The spices they use on the chicken are just perfection. 3. This location was non stop busy so we ordered to-go 4. Plenty of parking spots but they get filled up really quick on the weekends read more

Absolutely amazing. Food was cooked perfect and every dish was full of flavor! I would highly recommend.

Walked in Thursday evening after a wine tasting, about 6:30 on the off chance they could seat us, Open Table said there was nothing available. They were kind when we said we had no reservations and took us to a table on their patio right away. Hannah our server was so helpful in making our selections. Three of the four of us shared the All Spreads with Pita Bread (one of us has a nut allergy) , the Merguez Sausage Stuffed Dates and the Turkish Dumplings. So flavorful and just the right amount. Our 4th companion had the Chicken Kabob per her recommendation since we had a time constraint. A beautiful dish which he enjoyed, sorry no photos this time. Their cocktail list looks amazing, we tried the Black Sazerac and the Fig Sour both so fun! Hannah said they have a wine club that we will look into. read more

We absolutely LOVE this place. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS every single time consistently. We've also tried most of the mains by now and they're incredible. Also as many recommendations state, do NOT miss the crispy potatoes. The ambience is stunning to say the least and feels like a nice little escape all while the service which is 100/10! Clio is for sure all the things mentioned in their own description. Great ambience, cool vibes, the place where women go to sit at the bar, drink wine and eat appetizers. They have great appetizers. Get all 4 spreads: hummus, Muhammara, lanbneh and baba ghanoush. All 4 are excellent $22 and served with pita bread which is fresh. If you want more pita bread, it's not free, 2 pitas for $5. We spent like $20 on pitas. Service is good, plenty of servers when they are busy. Get reservations. Service tends to be a bit slow and the food isn't always hot when delivered. Servers are friendly. For large plates check out Chicken kabobs $21, salmon kabobs $29, veggie kabobs $17, chicken Shawarma $29. All served with rice and veggies and peppers, roasted. Great presentations, too. Here's the thing with the large plates, all are too salty. We've been here a few times and dinner was salty each time. Salt is a chefs secret to bring more flavor, but in this case, all over-seasoned with salt, not spice. It's a cool restaurant like a Mediterranean spa day. Go, get appetizers and a bottle of wine, sit at the bar, splurge and order extra pitas. it's a good place for people watching, if you order large plates tell the server to watch the salt. read more

This experience gets 5/5. Our party decided to dine at the second Clio located in Legacy (fka Blatt's). A hard reservation on Friday and Saturday, but Thursday is good. No parking issues. Warmly greeted and seated. We started with French 75 and sangria. We pivoted to the hummus sampler and the dates. All were delicious. We ordered 2 branzino entrees and Clio salad with chicken kabob. Loved the branzino and its accompaniments. Our waitress was fun and professional. Left full and happy. Highly recommended read more

Great focaccia bread! Patio seating & Sat. happy hours are a nice touch. My favorite entree is the lasagna

My taco was so amazingly delicious. I really appreciate the sides, yum. My servant was very nice and sweet to work with. Felt like I was in Mexico back in 1889. Beautiful. Really appreciated the overall hospitality and experience. Thanks again Clio! read more

I really love the gluten free options, however, I didn't think I would have to inspect my take out order to ensure my hummus and GF pita was actually GF pita. I ordered from the Gf menu and specifically said I needed GF pita, when I got home I found out it was flour based pita. I can't have that any more, so very disappointed tonight! read more

We came to Clio for a late lunch with high expectations based on our previous positive experiences at the downtown location, but unfortunately this visit was disappointing. When we arrived, we were seated at a table directly next to a large party, even though there were plenty of other open tables throughout the restaurant. We politely asked if we could be moved and were told it would only be a 5-10 minute wait, but the process still felt unnecessarily inconvenient given how empty the dining room was. The service was the biggest issue. After finishing our meal, we waited nearly 30 minutes just to see our server again so we could get the check. There appeared to be plenty of staff working, but no one seemed aware that our table had been waiting. Our food also took much longer than expected to arrive, despite it being well after the typical lunch rush. The food itself was good, but the lack of attentiveness and overall service overshadowed the meal. We left frustrated after what should have been a quick lunch. Based on our great experiences at the downtown location, this was not the level of service we were expecting. read more

Clio is amazing. highly recommend the spreads platter to try them all and the affogato for dessert. Will return for sure!

Just OK. 1/2 Chicken shawarma was under whelming, dry. Humus spread was yummy. Service was excellent. Probably won't go again.

First time at the nem location and it did not disappoint! Our server was courteous, timely and efficient. The build out is very unique, not too loud, and very comfortable seating. The 4 spreads is a must for the table. Three of us split the beef kebab and salmon kabob which was plenty of food for all. Great job Flagship, you all do it right. read more

Reservation was canceled with less than an hour's notice on one visit. On a separate date, we walked in and were quoted a 40-minute wait. The hostess was difficult to hear and could communicate more clearly. Not very accommodating for families with infants. read more
