We have been frequenting Feta's for years (it's right by our house), and they have never let us down! The service is great, the ambiance is wonderful (with Greek maps/movie posters everywhere), and the dishes are excellent and come out quickly. I always stick with a classic - the #1 Combo, which is a classic lamb gyro with tzatziki, tomatoes, and onions. (I sometimes remove the tomatoes and onion, but not always). For the combo, you can choose fries or a side of the Greek Potatoes. I've tired both and they are each great in their own way. The Fries are perfectly seasoned and go well with the tzatziki sauce (so order an extra side of that). The Greek Potatoes are huge and have amazing seasoning too. They have a special feta called the Feisty Feta, with an extra kick. I definitely recommend ordering that if you like a little extra zesty flavor. I love all things Gyros, and in terms of where to get good Gyros from, Feta's is pretty high up on the list. This spot is pretty fast casual. While you can sit down, this is a popular business park area and you can grab and go, or break away for a bit. I would stick to the classics and get the gyro plate. Even the salad is good and get with pita. The service is decent and if you go in the evening it's quicker than the lunch hours. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch with the husband. It's always nice when you can find good food at the odd mid-afternoon hour. Only a couple of tables were occupied at that time. Really clean inside, nice seating options, staff was very friendly and attentive. Now for the food...it was satisfying. I normally go for the standard gyro option but we decided to try something different. Spicy feta and pita bread was a super yummy starter while we waited for the other two dishes. Hubby ordered Dolmathes while I had the chicken souvlaki. We were both pleased with our meals. Prices were fair for the food which was filling, since it included side salads and Greek potatoes. Let me tell you, this is now one of my favorite gyro joints in all of Omaha. Granted, there are a number of places I have yet to try so I'll keep them as one of my favorites until it's trumped. From the balance of ingredients, freshness, consistency, and price it's pretty tough to compete with! The staff is nice as well I don't feel like an outsider and it's a good vibe atmosphere! Got take out for a group of coworkers and I'll say that it did the job. The portions are very generous, but there was a lack of quality in the food. This may be because we had a large order and there were some orders that were not correct. I can confirm this because my father-in-law had never had a gyro before last night. And he loved it. One final note: saw another poster saw something about the Greek potatoes being flavorless. I'm waffling between 2 and 3 stars for Feta's. The times I've eaten there, it's been okay. But it's not really a place I'm interested in going back to. The 'okay food' part would typically get 3 stars from me, and the 'I'm probably not going back' is a 2. This is one of those rare instances where I can't decide... if I'd eaten there recently though, I'd probably settle on 3, so there it is. As for the food itself, it's 'fast food style', order at the counter and they bring it out to you, and the place is always PACKED during the lunch rush, so plan accordingly. As such, I haven't tried the typical things I'd get at a Greek restaurant... hummus, spanakopita, moussaka, dolmathes... so three starts for the gyros and fries. read more

Ordered online for a takeout lunch. It was decent, but nothing to rave about. The extra spicy gyro (which I got) was essentially a gyro with siracha added. I was hoping it would be that the meat was actually seasoned with different spices. It didn't include lettuce-just tomato, onion, and of course feta. Feta's is fantastic. I've only ever gotten the classic gyro. You get a huge pile of meat with that delicious sauce. You eat lots of the meat with a fork before you're finally able to wrap the bread stuff around it and eat it taco-style. One thing to mention is to NOT get the greek potatoes or whatever they're called, instead of the french fries. You get like one potato and it tastes like nothing. read more

I like 40th street location much better. I get the Greek salad at least 8 times a week and the 114th street location gives you half as much gyro meat on the salad as 40th street location does. Fantastic gyro plate at Feta's today. Did drive thru and it was friendly and fast. Salad was perfectly fresh and crispy with cucumbers, olive, and feta cheese. Dressing is fabulous and home made by Feta's. Gyro meat was well seasoned and generous. Pita was perfect for making sandwich and so tasty. Lots of freshly sliced onions with oregano. Passed on tomatoes. The Greek potatoes were the best I've ever had - perfectly baked with just a little crispness. The only thing I have ever had here is the Gyro with Greek Potatoes, so take my 4 star rating for what its worth... a review of the Gyro... The gyro is great, has a decent portion of meet on it, the Tomatoes and Onions are always really fresh. I am not sure how they are getting such delicious tomatoes in the middle of winter, but they always taste great! The place is nice, bright and clean. The staff is always very friendly. As others have mentioned, they do get really busy at lunch so going at 11:30 is a really good idea. I usually get mine to go and call about 11:30 and its usually ready by 11:40. read more

We went on a mission for two things: gyro sandwich and falafel. I grew up in So.Cal. And there was a GREAT falafel stand not far from home, family-owned, authentic! Ever since moving away, I've been in search of a proper falafel. (Second best to back home was found in San Francisco, but I struck out in NYC, if you can believe that!) The falafel at Feta's was...bland. No spicy kick at all. Served without Tahini, it was just lacking. It was crispy on the outside, but just not what I thought it should be. Served open-face (as all their sandwiches are), I first ate some of it as salad so I could pick it up to eat. It was served on flat bread rather than pita. The French fries were great, the tzatziki sauce fantastic, and my boyfriend's gyro looked amazing! I had a taste, and it was very flavorful! I love that this place seems to be family-owned. Three guys working, with one of them bouncing between the kitchen and front counter, as needed. We also ordered dessert to go, a piece of baklava and a cream-cheese pastry. The baklava was heavy on the cloves (an unfamiliar taste for me in baklava), but tasty. It looked like a small piece, but it was so rich, I ate just half. The cream-cheese pastry, also made with phyllo, was great! Service was good, too. There was a wait time to order, but we were greeted and advised, and never felt ignored or forgotten. It was 6:20p on a Saturday night. I was glad to see them busy, because I'm a fan of non-chain restaurants. I love Fetas. It's as simple as that. The food tastes great, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable. I know I'm not alone in my love of Fetas, because it's usually pretty busy at lunchtime. Once in awhile, you might have to stalk someone's table while you wait for your order, but usually you can find somewhere to sit. My favorite dish is the spicy gyro combo.
