I was looking for a Greek restaurant with solid vegetarian options and spanakopita. This is a nice family place, surprisingly spacious with its own parking lot. The aluminum chairs are fairly spartan, but in the winter just sit on your coat and you'll be fine. Service was super friendly (I think it was the owner; his mother makes the baklava). Large menu; it's kind of fast casual plus (real plates and real silverware but styrofoam cups and a soda machine). No liquor license and no saganaki, but one or two vegetarian options, and delicious Greek potatoes (large lemon-infused wedges). Portions are generous; we got spanakopita, various gyro options, and I got the falafel. The falafel were a bit spicier than I'm used to but tasty; their small size made them extra crunchy against the pillowy pita bread. read more

We had food from this restaurant catered for a work event. I had never tried their food prior to that. Overall, it was well received by most people. For me, I don't eat beef, but I do eat lamb, so I would have appreciated more clarity on their website, whether the gyro meat was beef for lamb or a combination of both. As I was unsure, I did not eat the gyro meat. As for the chicken, it was a little bit plain, but I added a lot of their tzatziki or white sauce, and it helped with the flavor. Delicious, Fast, Reliable. Fetas is quick and consistent food to keep you happy. I LOVE gyros and while Fetas aren't I've the top or boujee, they are delicious and always keeps me satisfied. Portions are big and generous, wait time for food is minimal, and the staff are always friendly. It's my go-to when I'm not in the mood to cook but still don't want to break the bank. Their Tzatziki is super garlicky - which I like but may not be good for date night lol. Per the governor's request, I did my part and went to Feta's for dinner. I've been in Omaha for 14 years and this was my first visit, it will however not be my last. Gyros are a fickle thing, either they are really good or they really aren't. And since trying quite a few places around town, I found one that was pretty good so I didn't look any further. Shame on me, if never gotten around to trying Feta's, I stopped checking out places after I discovered the place on 90th. However I made a pact with myself that I would go to a place I'd never been on take-out Tuesday, gives me a reason to try different places. The salad was fresh and crispy and the dressing was supper yummy. I am not a not a fan of tart, but was pleasantly surprised by a nice slightly sweet vinaigrette and they gave you enough to dress your salad. The Greek potatoes were fair, but the meat was plentiful and flavorful and they did not skimp on the tomatoes or tzaziki sauce. I ordered a cream sauce because most places apply it for you and skimp when they do. But Feta's gave a decent size cup of it, so I probably won't even need the extra sauce, guess I'll use with some pita chips I have. I'm glad for takeout Tuesday (though not the reason for it). I love the portion size because I usually have enough for a later afternoon snack to finish it off. I get the salad because I like to pretend that I'm being healthy. Food is good. Baklava is disgusting. Got to try the grilled chicken and gyro meats. Both were good, and the yogurt sauce was tasty. Salad was fine. Avoid the baklava AT ALL COSTS. It's one of my favorite desserts, so I KNOW what good baklava tastes like. Feta's version has whole chunks of clove, and biting into one of those things is extremely unpleasant. I'm stuck in the restaurant that filled the space before, Katie's. Katie's had carpet, great decor, a warm feel and love for the regular customers like me, who frequented the Monday special. Nick Poulos, the manager of 40th and Dodge is a HORRIBLE person. I called earlier for a catering order for my fellow staff at the Med Center. I said I'll confirm with him later on tonight for a catering order for the following day. So I did in fact call him and wanted to run by the details one last time before I placed the order, which would have taken 1-2 minutes at best. He responds in a lazy voice "sorry. I dont think I can make it happen. I feel like we're not communicating" and I asked him what the issue was and he lies and says "yeeaahh, I dont think ill have the staff for it tomorrow" Complete and utter BS. When I was in my early 20s I lived near this place and my tastebuds weren't mature enough to appreciate it so I never checked them out . I'm glad I've grown up because I would've missed out on this gem I personally can't go wrong ordering the largely portioned gyro meat Greek salads and since it's nice and light I order a side of Greek potatoes to compliment the mix . I'm not a big tzatziki sauce fan in general but their spicy version of the tzatziki is actually really good when I choose to get a Gyro . Tasty and fast Greek food in Omaha! My friends and I came here for lunch on a weekday because someone was in the mood for gyros. The inside is pretty spacious and the kitchen can be viewed from the seating area. What was also neat was that they had a drive through, didn't expect that. We got there about 30 minutes after it opened but we might have been the first people there, wasn't busy at all. I ordered the gyro combo and replaced the fries with a salad for 50 cents more. All of our food came out very quickly which we appreciated. I'm not a gyro expert but I though it was pretty good. Felt like too much food to eat at once and I was barely able to finish it. Very happy with what I got though. The employees weren't very enthusiastic but not disinterested enough to bother any of us. Overall, a nice place to go for a quick tasty lunch. I love Fetas. I work at UNMC and have Fetas quite often. I always get the hummus and falafel plate and i add a little Greek dressing. Sometimes I pick it up and sometimes I have them deliver. Just today they delivered to me and gave me a complimentary baklava. The family that owns this place is so nice and respectful... it's the type of hospitality that reminds me of being in Turkey and Greece. And the food is always so fresh and delicious. read more

Feeling hungry at lunchtime, I ordered a Greek salad w/ chicken and a side order of Greek potatoes with tzaziki sauce and walked up to get it when it was ready ten minutes later. The interior is much different than the old Katie's though the columns at the entrance are still a nice touch. It has a more open and casual feel in the dining area than previously with a walk up counter to place your order and pay. There's also a drive thru. I took mine back to work. The lettuce was crisp and all the other veggies (tomato, cucumber, pepper) very fresh. There was a generous portion of white meat chicken on top. I was a big fan of the dressing which can be purchased by the bottle there or at Hy-Vee, Bag'n'Save, No Frills, Wohlners, and Whole Foods. The side of Greek potatos was $1.50 for 3 or $1.99 for 5. The tzatziki sauce may have been a little bit extra, too. Still, it was cheaper and tasted better than another local competitor. I am already looking forward to a return visit. read more

I absolutely love the Greek Salad w/Gryo meat! I seriously used to order it once a week for lunch when I worked nearby. These days, when I'm in the area, I almost always stop to eat. I dine in when I have time, but it's super convenient that they have a drive thru at this location. They have great customer service and it's always clean inside. The salads are huge, fresh, and loaded with meat and vegetables. The dressing compliments it nicely because it's not heavy and doesn't overpower the flavors of the salad. Sure the hummus and pita bread was a little on the 'eh' side, but who cares when you have a entire pile of meat with fresh onions and tomatoes to enhance that meatiness. Don't get me started on that side salad. I used to live for that single kalmata olive that I had to bit around in order to avoid the pit. Also, crumbling up the solo block of feta was always so enjoyable. The dressing on the salad---I've contemplated buying an entire bottle or two that is offered near the register and I never did. Each gyro meal that came with Greek potatoes & a drink was $9.98 each - and the quality definitely does NOT live up to the prices. The gyro is pretty average taste-wise; nothing significantly special about it. Greek potatoes were good though. Tzatziki sauce was pretty gross; it felt like warm tasteless goop in my mouth - kind of like when you're drinking liquid antibiotics through a syringe. These guys are only a tiny bit better than King Kong, but that's not really saying much because to me King Kong is one of those places that are at the bottom of the gyro chain. Overall, Feta's is mediocre; like some of those gyro places that you see at the mall selling microwaved gyros. I can go to John's Grecian Delight at the Southroads Mall and get a way better quality gyro meal made for me in 5 minutes or less, and for half the price of one of Feta's gyro meals. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Went to pick up a to go order today which is quite a treat for me as I am an at risk person and have been mostly isolating since March 3. When I got to the window to pick up my to-go, the man behind the open window was not wearing his mask, it was hanging from his right ear. I motioned to him to please put on his mask. He put it on but not over his nose...so I motioned again to him. Now he has touched his mask twice and now my food. I had sanitizing wipes in car and wiped down the package immediately...but I got to thinking that with a mask mandate this should not be happening. I decided to call the owner to discuss same...and it turns out he was the owner! I discussed it with him and said that over 205K have died in US and 1M in world and that our numbers in Omaha are rising. His response was that he had a "medical" reason and that it was anxiety. He also said, "how many people die of the flu?" FYI Preliminary data suggests there were an estimated 24,000-62,000 flu deaths for the 2019-20 influenza season, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). I beieve that if he is dealing with the public he should have someone else delivering the food that is wearing a mask. I am very disappointed as I would like to support small businesses...but I wear my mask to protect others and I expect them, especially in the food business and dealing with customers directly, to do the same. Stopped in for some Greek food, and I couldn't have been happier with this restaurant. The menu has a little bit for everyone and BIG portions of deliciousness. The combo plates are guaranteed to fill you up and all are under $10. Feats has the normal Greek fare, but include Greek beer and an option for greek potatoes, that were a great alternative to French fries. Staff is super friendly and even bring your food to the table as well as waiting to bring the baklava later for dessert.
