Great pizza and great vibes! Grabbed a mid week lunch here with a friend and it did not disappoint. Service is so friendly too! We split the Caesar salad, Bianco pizza, and the Tre Carne pizza. The Tre Carne pizza was definitely my favorite. SO good. I added hot honey on top because it sounded good. I feel like you could add their hot honey on any of their pizzas and it'd be amazing! Freaking delicious. They keep the menu simple which allows them to crush everything they do. The Caesar salad is delicious with tons of cheese. The half order is still enough for my husband and I to share. The meatball appetizer was flavorful and came with five decently sized meatballs. Pizzas are all one size and every one we've tried has been a hit. Even the basic cheese is a standout and is priced extremely well. I had an amazing chocolate cake there once as a special - I don't know if they still do that on occasion, but if they do, I'd head in specifically for that. I don't love that they add a 10% fee for carryout orders. I realize that there needs to be a surcharge to accommodate for the containers but 10% seems quite high. For that reason, I wouldn't myself order carryout but I would certainly just opt to come in and enjoy their cute, clean space. It's a smaller space but we've always gotten in when we walk in, with the last time sitting up at the bar. The bar counter is a good size so it easily accommodated all of our food without making us feel cramped. It looks like they do take reservations and there is a patio out back although I've haven't seen that personally. This was my favorite pizza in Omaha for a long time! Their sourdough pizza's are perfectly soft and chewy, well seasoned sauce and great quality toppings. I've had both takeout and dine-in, would recommend takeout as there isn't a lot of seating. If you're looking to go a weekend with a group larger than 4, I would highly recommend reserving. Otherwise the bar almost always has open seating. They have craft cocktails and switch it up depending on the season! Service here is usually good too. They may take a while (~15 minutes) for the pizza but 100% is because it's fresh to order. Order an app, have a drink, and enjoy the dim and earthy environment. Wow! Lyle's was excellent. My fiancé and I love pizza and have had Lyle's on our list for a while. We had a candlelit dinner in the lively dining space. The service was great! The best part of our meal was the Cesar salad, honestly so good it's like the perfect ratio of everything. The service was sub par and the reason for the four stars. The waitress was super nice just took super long to take our orders and then we didn't really hear from her after that. We waited about 40 minutes for our food which wasn't terrible but it wasn't super busy so I wonder why. The pizza was excellent I loved the crust but it's also pretty small for what you get. My wife and I went for a Tuesday bingo night that we saw advertised on social media. We sat outside for the event but unfortunately there was a swarm of some insect that was taking over the neighborhood and we had to go inside, but otherwise the back patio was very lovely. You will love the food at Lyle's Pizzeria. The sourdough crust is perfect, thick around the edges, thinner in the center and fully sourdough flavored. We ordered delivery of a classic cheese pizza with added mushrooms. We got lots of mushrooms! They actually have a pizza called Funghi made with mushrooms, two cheeses and basil. We might have to try that. We also ordered the chopped salad which had iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, salami, feta, pepperoncini, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. The oregano dijon dressing with fennel breadcrumb was lovely and parmigiano-reggiano made the presentation. We plan to visit the location in person to experience the cocktails and wine selections. They came hot and fresh and didn't take very long to receive. We ordered a half size Caesar salad to split between 2 people before our pizzas, and the half size was the perfect amount. The happy hour house wines were flavorful and a good price. We also tried their pizza wine- and it truly did pair great with the pizza. This is hands down the best pizza I've had in Omaha. I've had most places in town, and I really don't think anywhere compares. I've had pizza in NYC and I truly think this is at least on that level. The pizza was amazingly crispy and quick to pick up. The pepperoni was seriously awesome. Beautifully charred, unbelievably savory as it was packed with pepperoni, and the grated Parmesan on top. We also got the Bianco, which was quite good, but in my opinion the goat cheese or possibly the fontina were a little strong with some of the bites, however, the crust and balance of the other parts definitely made up for it. You could argue it's a little pricey, but in my opinion for the quality you get this place is uniquely worth it. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try!! read more

They make their own brine and we had a fresh batch! The pizza was fantastic. We've never had one we don't like and want to continue to try each one. Visit this location for the last bingo night of the season on the outside deck it was really set up nice I actually went solo. The location was easy to find sit on the corner of the street not a lot of parking in their parking lot, but there is parking over on the other side behind the building The customer service was pretty good. I also enjoyed the pizza. They have really good pizza and during the game of bingo, I won a $20 gift card to come back and buy more pizza. Next bingo season I will be back. I've been to Lyle's a few times and have really really enjoyed it both times! We went for a celebratory date night, and this was the perfect spot. It's moody and intimate inside, and I just love it! We started with an espresso martini and a Negroni, both were alright, not our favorites though. We got the pesto roll and a half caesar salad for apps, the pesto roll was not as good as I remember this time. It was a little bit hard and cold (i remember it being super soft and served warm last time, but I could be wrong). The salad was good though! I got the crab rangoon pizza (I think they only have this one during Lent) and it was DELISH! I absolutely loved it. My boyfriend got the sausage pizza and he really enjoyed it, too. Their ranch is also out of this world, so that earns extra points from me. Overall a really solid date night or girls night out spot. We came to Lyle's on bingo night and WOW! What a fun event and did I mention it was free + prizes if you win? They had bingo on the patio and it was the perfect breeze. The service was a bit slow, but it seemed like they had 2 servers running the patio and the inside. We tried the deviled eggs and it was a bit salty to my liking. They use sourdough for their crust and it was yum - wven after rebaking/rehearing it the next day. Two people couldn't definitely share one pizza! We also got the tre carne and add some hot honey to drown on the saltiness. My husband and I were looking to try out a new pizza place and we drive by here a lot, so we decided to order take out. I instantly gravitated towards the burrata pizza (thanks to other Yelp reviews on this pizza) and my husband got a pepperoni since he's not a huge fan of burrata. We tried to order online, but the burrata pizza wasn't available for online ordering, so we called and they were able to place the order - I'm not sure what the problem was. The pizza was ready exactly on time - they had just placed it in the warmer as I walked in to pick it up. The restaurant was also not super busy for a Saturday night, which was surprising but made our transaction super smooth and easy. The pizza was truly magical (and I don't think I'm the first one to describe it this way). The crust was nicely chewy and slightly charred in places. The tomato sauce and roasted tomatoes gave a nice sweetness, and the burrata was so creamy and indulgent! Truly a top tier pizza. I have been dying to go to Lyle's ever since it opened. I'm a huge fan of Via Farina and Dolomiti, and I have heard this rivaled both of those places. The location is super cute, albeit pretty small. I recommend making a reservation just in case. We started with the pesto roll and the feta dip. These were both INCREDIBLE. The pesto roll is wrapped like a cinnamon roll, but instead of cinnamon sugar inside, it's mozzarella. The pesto on top is plentiful and SO delicious - maybe the best I've ever had! The feta dip was also delicious, especially with the rosemary chili crunch oil on the top. We saved it to dip our crust in per recommendation of our server, which was a great choice. Now for the pizza...I hate to say it, but it was just ok. I had the Bianco, and my husband tried the Lyle's Supreme. Both of these sounded like they would be packed with flavor, but we just weren't getting it. Maybe it was an off day, but I was definitely a little disappointed. Crab Rangoon Pizza was being photographed by another customer and looked like a very good option. And I have not seen prior anywhere. Am excited to try this. Ohh that crust - perfection! We enjoyed a one size fits all Burrata and a Lyle's Supreme - excellent! Note there are lunch specials, which would be a good buy, it includes a salad. We also had the mozzarella and pesto roll, it was almost too beautiful to eat. It is almost like a cinnamon roll but with cheese and pesto, also delicious as recommend per Yelpers. This time, we started with the marinated olives again which come paired with sourdough slices. The olives are marinated in oil, garlic, and orange peels---so good! Then we went with the funghi pizza, the mozz made it deliciously salty while the mushrooms made it savory and fresh basil lightened it up. I paired with the pizza wine, the bartender said the sommelier specially chooses wine to pair well with the sourdough in the pizza, and this was a beautiful pairing. I got delivery and this was the first time I'd tried Lyle's. I'm so glad I decided to give them a shot. The pepperoni was COVERED in crispy pepperoni and super tasty. The margarita had super flavorful sauce. Tons of garlic and more like a rich pasta sauce than your typical pizza sauce. The cheese was covered in a good amount of fresh basil and this one was my fave for sure. I'll have to stop by in person some time to get it fresh but even delivery was still top notch. It's great to sit at the bar and strike up a conversation with the bartender, or they have a few tables for a more cozy dinner with friends and family. They have it as a special on some days. Unfortunately they were out by the time we reached but looks like that was a blessing in disguise. Because we loved the Lyle Supreme Pizza we tried instead. We also had the deviled eggs and the Caesar Salad. The salad was decent - didn't taste much like a Caesar salad IMHO but we did enjoy the crunch of the nuts in it. Our drinks took about 20 minutes to come out but the bartender did come and deliver them himself to apologize because he lost our ticket. Food is the only reason for the 4 start review.
