Really enjoyed Lyles Pizza! The food was tasty, and even though they were super busy, the service didn't feel too slow for pizza. We did have to sit outside because it was packed, which was the only downside. Other than that, everything was great and I'd definitely come back!
Hubby and I stopped for a late lunch/early dinner. We ordered a hot honey pepperoni pizza. It was the perfect size for the two of us. (12" pizza cut into fours)I also had a Coke, he had water. The pizza had a large amount of mini pepperoni's and the right amount of hot honey. A minimal amount of cheese. The sourdough crust was cooked to perfection and so delicious. The price was decent for the pizza ($21 +$2 hot honey) and Coke ($2)... we were given a happy hour $2 discount. We will definitely be back
Wanted to get pizza but wasn't sure where we wanted to go, it looked like you needed to make a reservation to come but we took a chance and came in on a Sunday around 5pm, we were able to get a table but about 30 minutes later, all the tables were full so I would definitely make a reservation next time. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a hostess and sat upon arrival, no TVs around but it was nice to just be able to sit and talk without too much noise. We ordered a pickle beer and a Lyle's G&T, they were both great and the G&T tasted fresh! Ordered the mozzarella and pesto roll as an appetizer and boy, it did not disappoint! The pesto was delicious, even my picky 14 year old sister liked it. We ordered two pizzas to share between three people and they were both cut into four slices, I wasn't that hungry so we ended up taking about three slices home. Overall, the pizza tasted great and we've been thinking about this pizza constantly so we will be back!
This was my favorite pizza in Omaha for a long time! Their sourdough pizza's are perfectly soft and chewy, well seasoned sauce and great quality toppings. I've had both takeout and dine-in, would recommend takeout as there isn't a lot of seating. If you're looking to go a weekend with a group larger than 4, I would highly recommend reserving. Otherwise the bar almost always has open seating. They have craft cocktails and switch it up depending on the season! Service here is usually good too. They may take a while (~15 minutes) for the pizza but 100% is because it's fresh to order. Order an app, have a drink, and enjoy the dim and earthy environment. It's usually not loud in there either so is a great place to converse.
Wow! Lyle's was excellent. My fiancé and I love pizza and have had Lyle's on our list for a while. We had a candlelit dinner in the lively dining space. The service was great! We ordered the Braised Beef and Pork Meatballs, a delicious Emerald Caesar salad, and of course the pizza! This salad was one of the best I've had in a while- definitely recommend. The pizza is fresh, crisp, and perfection. We will be back!
It is almost embarrassing how often I and at Lyles now but, I always have a great meal and a great time. They started doing bingo this summer which has been so fun! Their servers are always very nice and friendly. The pesto roll today was LOADED with cheese on the top! My Tre Carne pizza was cooked to perfection. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
The best part of our meal was the Cesar salad, honestly so good it's like the perfect ratio of everything. The service was sub par and the reason for the four stars. The waitress was super nice just took super long to take our orders and then we didn't really hear from her after that. We waited about 40 minutes for our food which wasn't terrible but it wasn't super busy so I wonder why. The pizza was excellent I loved the crust but it's also pretty small for what you get. I think it's a good place but maybe a bit overpriced.

My wife and I went for a Tuesday bingo night that we saw advertised on social media. We sat outside for the event but unfortunately there was a swarm of some insect that was taking over the neighborhood and we had to go inside, but otherwise the back patio was very lovely. We ordered drinks, an app, a Caesar salad, and a pizza. The food was all great, and I'd love to try some of their other pizzas. The service was a bit slow and inattentive, I'm not sure if it was due to the event or not, but I wasn't very pleased with it. Hopefully it's better next time!
You will love the food at Lyle's Pizzeria. The sourdough crust is perfect, thick around the edges, thinner in the center and fully sourdough flavored. We ordered delivery of a classic cheese pizza with added mushrooms. We got lots of mushrooms! They actually have a pizza called Funghi made with mushrooms, two cheeses and basil. We might have to try that. We also ordered the chopped salad which had iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, salami, feta, pepperoncini, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. The oregano dijon dressing with fennel breadcrumb was lovely and parmigiano-reggiano made the presentation. We plan to visit the location in person to experience the cocktails and wine selections. My picture shows the last of the crust, which we always share with our pups.
I was told they have the best gluten free pizza in Omaha- and was not disappointed!! The funghi pizza was cheesy and packed with fresh mushrooms. The tre carne was deliciously meaty. They came hot and fresh and didn't take very long to receive. We ordered a half size Caesar salad to split between 2 people before our pizzas, and the half size was the perfect amount. The happy hour house wines were flavorful and a good price. We also tried their pizza wine- and it truly did pair great with the pizza. I loved the moody vibe of the place, with candles on the tables. The service was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time here and our server answered our every question. Make sure to get a reservation!
Love going to Lyle's! Their pesto rolls are my favorite - perfect appetizer or addition to your meal. I've tried a few of their pizzas now and they're all very good, this time I tried the sausage pizza and it stacks up to the rest! We sat out on the patio and it was beautiful - I love how tucked away it is and it's beautifully arranged. We were there for bingo night so it was a little busy but they were on the ball getting our food to us quickly. Bingo was a blast, highly recommend :)
Oh man, I might fall asleep while writing this because I'm so full and satisfied. The olives are always a great choice, but be aware they do have the pits in them. They make their own brine and we had a fresh batch! The pizza was fantastic. We've never had one we don't like and want to continue to try each one. The beer I had went great with the sourdough pizza and my wife ordered the "pizza wine". The Pizza Wine is a rotating red from Italy that the Som chooses to pair specifically with the pizza. The bartenders were both fantastic. Great conversation, great service, great atmosphere, and amazing food.
I've been to Lyle's a handful of times over the years, and after a gap of over a year, my recent visit reminded me why I keep coming back. I went with the Tre Carne: fennel sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella, and oregano topped with thinly sliced prosciutto draped over everything. Salty, savory, and seriously satisfying. The sourdough crust is the standout! thin but sturdy, with a blistered edge that's airy and satisfying. read more

Had a great experience at Lyle's Pizzeria! We brought the party together for our Pizza Quest and ordered two Lyle Supremes, a Tre Carne, and a couple of salads. The pizzas were delicious, and the portions were HUGE! Each 12-inch pizza comes cut into four massive slices. We had three pizzas for five adults and a kid and still went home with an entire pizza. Honestly, two pizzas probably would have been plenty! The atmosphere was great for getting everyone together and enjoying a meal, and the generous portions made it easy to share with the whole party. Overall, Lyle's was a great stop on our Pizza Quest. Between the food and the substantial portions, it's definitely a place worth checking out if you're looking for pizza to share with family or friends! read more
Great pizza and great vibes! Grabbed a mid week lunch here with a friend and it did not disappoint. Service is so friendly too! We split the Caesar salad, Bianco pizza, and the Tre Carne pizza. The Tre Carne pizza was definitely my favorite. SO good. I added hot honey on top because it sounded good. I feel like you could add their hot honey on any of their pizzas and it'd be amazing! The Bianco pizza wasn't my personal taste but worth a try! I suggest the Caesar salad if you visit. It's so well done and very refreshing! I hope to be back to try more!! read more

Visit this location for the last bingo night of the season on the outside deck it was really set up nice I actually went solo. The location was easy to find sit on the corner of the street not a lot of parking in their parking lot, but there is parking over on the other side behind the building The customer service was pretty good. I also enjoyed the pizza. They have really good pizza and during the game of bingo, I won a $20 gift card to come back and buy more pizza. Next bingo season I will be back. I think Lyle's is a really good place for a date night, to hang with friends or even just a solo outing. read more

Make sure you make a reservation! Did not make a reservation but was able to sit at the bar. Ordered the Caesar salad and saw someone else order the Lyle's chopped and will be trying it next time! Looks so good! The wait time was kind of long but I think should be expected since it's being made to order! Place is super cute and a really nice date spot. read more
I've been to Lyle's a few times and have really really enjoyed it both times! We went for a celebratory date night, and this was the perfect spot. It's moody and intimate inside, and I just love it! We started with an espresso martini and a Negroni, both were alright, not our favorites though. We got the pesto roll and a half caesar salad for apps, the pesto roll was not as good as I remember this time. It was a little bit hard and cold (i remember it being super soft and served warm last time, but I could be wrong). The salad was good though! I got the crab rangoon pizza (I think they only have this one during Lent) and it was DELISH! I absolutely loved it. My boyfriend got the sausage pizza and he really enjoyed it, too. Their ranch is also out of this world, so that earns extra points from me. Overall a really solid date night or girls night out spot. It is a bit pricey, but you can taste the quality, so I don't mind spending a bit extra! read more
We came to Lyle's on bingo night and WOW! What a fun event and did I mention it was free + prizes if you win? They had bingo on the patio and it was the perfect breeze. The service was a bit slow, but it seemed like they had 2 servers running the patio and the inside. We tried the deviled eggs and it was a bit salty to my liking. They use sourdough for their crust and it was yum - wven after rebaking/rehearing it the next day. Two people couldn't definitely share one pizza! We also got the tre carne and add some hot honey to drown on the saltiness. We got the sausage pizza as well and in my opinion I think I wouldve liked it better without the goat cheese, but it was still tasty a just wished I got it without the goat cheese so that was on me. read more
I revisited Lyle's for the first time since after they had recently opened and I enjoyed my meal immensely. The Caesar salad was tasty and the shaved brussel sprouts added a nice twist. Second trip to Lyle's. If it was closer I'd love to go more often! We love the Pesto mozzarella bread. It's so fresh, warm, insane pesto... it's a must order. I'm also obsessed with the Gelato Sour, such a unique balanced cocktail. We ordered the burrata Margherita pizza which was simple and fresh and ended with an espresso martini. read more
Our drinks took about 20 minutes to come out but the bartender did come and deliver them himself to apologize because he lost our ticket. Food is the only reason for the 4 start review. Pizza crust was some of the crispiest I've had. The meatballs were tender and the sauce they were in was amazing. The salad was great could have used some crunch. All ingredients tasted fresh and made to order It was a little loud and dark inside but I did like the limited amount of tables in the restaurant. Lyle's is such a cool, neighborhood spot! Their pizzas are always delicious, and I love that they have a special that changes so you can always try something new! The servers are always really nice and the back patio is super cute and fun to sit at during the summer. You have to try the pesto roll! read more
Deviled eggs, whipped feta and pizzas are all really good, I like the bar team because they will make craft mocktails to fit your personal taste. And for the good weather, the back patio is open for dining. A delightful evening was had by all. read more
My husband and I were looking to try out a new pizza place and we drive by here a lot, so we decided to order take out. I instantly gravitated towards the burrata pizza (thanks to other Yelp reviews on this pizza) and my husband got a pepperoni since he's not a huge fan of burrata. We tried to order online, but the burrata pizza wasn't available for online ordering, so we called and they were able to place the order - I'm not sure what the problem was. The pizza was ready exactly on time - they had just placed it in the warmer as I walked in to pick it up. The restaurant was also not super busy for a Saturday night, which was surprising but made our transaction super smooth and easy. The pizza was truly magical (and I don't think I'm the first one to describe it this way). The crust was nicely chewy and slightly charred in places. The tomato sauce and roasted tomatoes gave a nice sweetness, and the burrata was so creamy and indulgent! Truly a top tier pizza. I am looking forward to dining in the next time and trying the gelato sour and the mozzarella pesto roll! read more

Went to Lyle's for dinner last weekend and ordered the pepperoni pizza, Caesar salad, and pesto bread. The pizza and pesto bread were pretty good. Caesar salad was nothing crazy. The service was not very good but would still come back cause it's a vibey place read more
I have been dying to go to Lyle's ever since it opened. I'm a huge fan of Via Farina and Dolomiti, and I have heard this rivaled both of those places. The location is super cute, albeit pretty small. I recommend making a reservation just in case. We started with the pesto roll and the feta dip. These were both INCREDIBLE. The pesto roll is wrapped like a cinnamon roll, but instead of cinnamon sugar inside, it's mozzarella. The pesto on top is plentiful and SO delicious - maybe the best I've ever had! The feta dip was also delicious, especially with the rosemary chili crunch oil on the top. We saved it to dip our crust in per recommendation of our server, which was a great choice. Now for the pizza...I hate to say it, but it was just ok. I had the Bianco, and my husband tried the Lyle's Supreme. Both of these sounded like they would be packed with flavor, but we just weren't getting it. Maybe it was an off day, but I was definitely a little disappointed. I would come back here for the apps, because they were INCREDIBLE, but I'm not sure if this will be a pizza go-to for me. read more
Apparently has been a while since we last here. Today after our main trip stop was taken care of, this was near and needed further testing!! Crab Rangoon Pizza was being photographed by another customer and looked like a very good option. And I have not seen prior anywhere. Am excited to try this. I see Herbed Anchovies dressing on a salad, so got a sampling of that. Really good. Pizza and crust are incredible good. But...further testing needed here. This was a great pizza which was not on the published menu yet. I am guessing they have some food pioneers on staff who keep coming up with fabulous ideas, and I was lucky enough today for testing time!! read more

Yummy! The pizza is fabulous! I always say the crust is what makes the difference between pizzas. This is the light, crisp, airy crust with the perfect amount of toppings! Ohh that crust - perfection! We enjoyed a one size fits all Burrata and a Lyle's Supreme - excellent! Note there are lunch specials, which would be a good buy, it includes a salad. We also had the mozzarella and pesto roll, it was almost too beautiful to eat. It is almost like a cinnamon roll but with cheese and pesto, also delicious as recommend per Yelpers. Comfortable setting in an older building that has been upscaled. Beautiful place and friendly workers. read more
Finally got a chance to try out the pizza at Lyle's...and it was really good! The service was great and the place had a really cool hip vibe. We'll have to come back and try their other signature pizza, but I do recommend the Funghi. read more

Another 5 star experience here, from the food, to the service, the conversation and knowledgeable bartender, drinks, and more! This time, we started with the marinated olives again which come paired with sourdough slices. The olives are marinated in oil, garlic, and orange peels---so good! Then we went with the funghi pizza, the mozz made it deliciously salty while the mushrooms made it savory and fresh basil lightened it up. I paired with the pizza wine, the bartender said the sommelier specially chooses wine to pair well with the sourdough in the pizza, and this was a beautiful pairing. My husband got the west o red beer which was a tasty option, too. Their bar is my favorite! I love the 80s vibes and would kill (metaphorically ;-)) to take that canvas above it home for my kitchen. They also have a great option for a pickle beer, pair with the Bloody Mary and you've got a great brunch bev! read more
