Brick oven pizza is a great semi hidden gem of Omaha. We got some food for pickup this time. Two calzones one buffalo chicken and one was the chicken with jalepeno and I had them add buffalo sauce. The cheese bread starter, and a couple pizzas for us. One was a mushroom pepperoni and sausage then one was a sausage and pepperchino. Both cooked great. Nice like pan style/handtossed crust just enough crunch to it. Workers were super friendly on the phone and noted my friends allergy for his calzone. Good vibes always eating in and have game nights and stuff. Also they sell bread and someone was in buying it at 9 pm on a Saturday when we picked up our food so must be good. Need to try it sometime. Definitely will be back. Also open late night which is a big plus! read more

the definition of don't judge a book by its cover.. this classic omaha hole in the wall exceeded my expectations with their delicious pizza and friendly service. FOOD : we got a few orders - but i personally ordered the gluten free pizza with cheese, basil, and banana peppers. It wasn't too greasy which i liked and it had just the right amount of flavor in all the places it needed it. I love that it was straight out of the brick oven and cooked to perfection. I got the gluten free crust because it only had olive oil, whereas the other normal gluten pizzas have a mixture of olive oil oil and soy bean oil. The pizza was light because the crust was thin, but I still prefer the double zero Italian flour over the American flour overall it was a good pizza and I enjoyed it, however, still probably not in my top favorites for omaha! The table at large really enjoyed their pizzas, I think if you just want a quick basic pizza that's good and better than going to a fast food spot, this is a good choice, but if you're looking for high quality ingredients with local sourcing, this isn't it. Alas, it was still really good and we enjoyed our food! SERVICE : it definitely gave a mom and pop feel, we had exceptionally kind Service and really enjoyed the people that we met. They were extremely helpful and made it feel homey! ATMOSPHERE : Very much so a hole in the wall - I'm not going to lie, I was a bit turned off by the ceilings and the cleanliness of the place. Just can't beat their customer service and their pies! And delivery is only $5!! Went with a thin crust with veggies. Ordered both Motz and Provelone. Noticed there wasn't much cheese on the pizza so I called and they apologized that they no longer carry provelone and said I should have been told this when ordered. No big deal, but next time I'm getting the same but asking for a bit of extra roasted garlic and EXTRA motz! Reminder to self...get the garlic cheese bread also! Looks like they may have changed the name of them to "ropes" as I don't see the sliced cheese bread on their menu any longer. read more

I love that you can do half and half I enjoyed the pepperoni Italian sausage and mushroom with marinara sauce the most The other half just wasn't my preference but still enjoyable. I libe close but have never been here before. A co-worker mentioned they have the best vegan desserts in town and so I decided to pick up some for my vegan friends birthday! For to go orders you can call in or order on their website. Both are super easy! The folks working the counter were super sweet and helpful with my order! I ordered a slice of the vegan cheesecake and a large order of the vegan cinnamon sticks. Both were amazing! I think you probably want to eat the cinnamon sticks while they're hot but still good. We were wanting pizza and after looking for spots around the hotel, I found this gem. I ordered a Margherita pizza, a breakfast pizza with scrambled eggs and a couple slices of pepperoni pizza. This establishment proves it is worth your effort to source out the local family-owned pizzerias. They specialize in brick oven pizzas and it was refreshing to find a place that didn't burn the crust! Their dough was very tasty and chewy. The sauce on their Margherita pizza was probably the best Roma-based sauce I've had. My daughter had the breakfast pizza and made similar remarks. I wanted a bite of the pepperoni but my 5-year-old granddaughter scarfed it up before I had a chance. I'll definitely return if I'm ever in the Omaha area again. read more

I drove all the way to the restaurant to pick up an order I placed online through door dash. They said they didn't receive the order and were zero help to correct the issue or even offer to make the pizzas "on the fly". They could've easily at least offered to put in a new order or apologize but they just waved me away with no customer service etiquette. I did not have time to mess with door dash, and I was a paying customer with no expectation for free food, or a deal. They said If I do anything just blame door dash because they didn't want a bad review. Haha too late :) We will not order from this place anymore. I called Williamsburg, told them my issue and even though it wasn't there problem, they made it a point to help, and made my order in a rush. This is now my new favorite pizza spot in Omaha! The fact that you get to completely customize your pie, but it still comes out fresh and made to order is amazing. The crust is fluffy with the perfect amount of crisp to it. I went with my husband and a friend and both absolutely loved it. They each got a pizza slice and a calzone and enjoyed both. Perfect pizza place for birthday lunch. Came with my family to celebrate my sister's birthday. We had a party of 8. We ordered 2 jumbo pizza, wings and 2 salads. My sister also ordered a slice of chicken/broccoli/alfredo. She throughly enjoyed that. All in all pizza was really good. I was impressed with the undercarriage of the pizza. The breading was really good. I tried the supreme pizza and a slice of pepperoni pizza. Both were good. I was really fulfilled with my slices. I also got to try the bbq wings. The wings were solid 4 out of 5. I would give this place 4.5 stars overall. Slight down grade because it was very hot inside the restaurant. This is a hole in the wall spot that puts our amazing pizza. The issue is the service. We went in early on a Friday evening and the man at the counter could not have been more rude if he tried. Visibly annoyed with the person at the front of the line. Rude responses and eye rolling with everything he said. We started to order and he left the counter after being rude and rolling his eyes at us for saying that we were going to order to eat in the restaurant. We ended up leaving and going to a different nearby pizza spot where we got great service. This place has great pizza...but the service sucks. If you can't pretend to enjoy working with customers, you shouldn't be doing it. Do better Brick Oven. read more

We tried this place due to it being open super late! We went around 11:15 pm, and the people taking our order were super nice and helpful with the menu. Our order did take about an hour to come out for a jumbo slice of pizza and a meatball sub. Such a neat spot, tucked away by Mrs. B's along 72nd St. Not the easiest to find, but sooooo incredibly worth it. They have about a million different quality topping options and a million different creative combinations of them on the menu. Lots of vegan options. We went in on Christmas day for something chill after a big family lunch, so I guess they are open on holidays, as well as late into the night. The "jumbo slice" is two decently sized slices of pizza, definitely enough for a meal for a very reasonable price. Workers are always super friendly. Crispy New York style crust - I am quite picky with New York style, don't love when it's too thin or too crispy - Brick Oven is neither of those things, the texture & thickness are just right. Honestly SO delicious! It's very vegan friendly (by that I mean like 20ish options)! Their crust is amazing. I don't know what the pizza was called but it was chicken, cream cheese, and jalapenos and it was DELICIOUS. Something to note, which I really loved, was that the chicken was shredded, not chunks. The crust was great, the flavors were solid. We did carryout on one of the crazy snow nights and the pizza was ready in about 15 minutes. We played the Pac-Man machine while we waited and it flew by.
