    North Italia is such a fantastic spot for special occasions and intimate meals! The service is top notch and i appreciated our waitresses friendly suggestions. All of the drinks, apps, and entrees arrived at the appropriate times. And the waitress was also very attendant. It's a pricey place but you get what you pay for. Definitely worth a try!

    We've first had their food with a Door Dash and the pizza was so good we went back for the in-restaurant experience. Might be our new favorite place to eat at Village Pointe! The burrata was a great start - especially with the waitress suggestion to add a side of grilled bread. We had the main courses of Bolognese and Ricotta Cavatelli and both were delicious. We had Turino Old Fashioned cocktails with our meals and they were a very nice variation of our favorite drink. The seasonal butter cake was the best of the desserts. The Salted Caramel Budino unfortunately pales in comparison to the Butterscotch Budino at the nearby Dante restaurant. It was still good, but is the only item we wouldn't order again.

    Wow wow wow what an amazing addition to the village pointe area. We checked out the restaurant because we had heard amazing reviews from friends for our anniversary, and this has become our new favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is perfect for any special occasion as it has a romantic feel, but also very open and fun. You are able to watch them cook your food through a big open window to the kitchen which I loved. Our server was AMAZING. We wish we would have got his name, but he walked us through the menu and gave outstanding recommendations. The food was so fresh and decently priced for what you are getting. My boyfriend tried the braised short rib pasta and the truffle bread, and said it was the best food he's had in a long time and the bread was his favorite garlic bread ever. I tried the ricotta cavatelli with gluten free pasta, and was a beautiful balance between citrusy/bright and creamy. Overall, such an amazing experience and we can't wait to come back to try more of the menu!

    Had to try out what seems to be the most popular spot in West O for the last few months! Definitely gives a fancy yet casual vibe when you walk in! I could totally see this being a great place for apps and cocktails on the patio with nice weather! I was ready to be blown away by the food so it was a goo thing we started with the garlic bread! Don't bother justifying the caloric content because saying no to this garlic bread is worse than eating a few hundred extra calories - totally worth it! Although I'm not a huge pasta fan, they definitely had a bunch of options! We tried the pesto and the mushroom pastas which were pretty good! We only had a couple of bites so we could save room for dessert! Everyone talks about their dessert menu and the seasonal options! I think it would be fun to try each season's special dessert, but we tried the Maple Apple Bombolini suggested by our awesome waiter! To die for!! There is definitely a lot to try but I can see me finding the one thing I order every time at this place in the future

    Went to North Italia the other day with some friends. We tried to get a reservation but were told they didn't have any. I asked if we could try to walk in and they suggested doing that. We went on a Tuesday around 5:45pm. They had a lot of empty tables so maybe they only add some tables to reserve? The inside was very nice and dimly lit. The Pig was DELICIOUS! The Spicy Broccolini was very good. The waiter let me do a Shrimp Alfredo, which is technically not on their menu. It was very creamy and the shrimp was good, however, they were light on the protein. If I'd known, I would have asked for a double portion of protein. The Maple-Glazed Bombolini (comes with 4) was perfect for my friends to split for dessert. I'd order food just for dessert! Overall impressed with the class of the restaurant, the food quality, and the service. Will be back!

    I met up with some friends at North Italia on a weeknight. We tried booking a reservation online, but there weren't any tables available. We called and were encouraged to walk in. When I got to the restaurant it was half empty with tons of tables available, so it seems they only take so many reservations per time slot then leave the rest for walk in. The decor was clean and the dinner lighting was low and vibey. I enjoyed the overall ambiance and can see it being perfect for date night. We got the broccolini for the table and it was delicious. I also had a half salad as an appetizer that was very fresh and light prior to a heavier pasta dish. I got the squid ink pasta as my entree and it wasn't my favorite. There wasn't anything wrong or bad about it, just not the most flavorful or exciting. The shrimp was a little tough and it was light on protein in my opinion. I tried the pig pizza and it was SO YUM! Others at the table really enjoyed their pasta, so I think I just didn't order the right thing for my taste. We tried the maple doughnuts for dessert and they were also really good. Overall this place seems great! I would love to come back and try to find my new favorite entree. North Italia seems like a great addition to the Village Point shopping center! I had no issues with parking, but can see how it would be tight on a weekend.

    North Italia is one of my favorite places to stop when I'm in town! The food is always fresh and the staff is friendly. I love the elevated feel of the space. I highly recommend their salads and pasta dishes!

    We has dinner tonight with family! There were 9 of us and our server, Jaffrey, was fantastic! He was patient and personable! The restaurant is fairly new. It's a beautiful place that's spacious and open! It was very busy; however, our food was prepared in a timely manner and was delicious! The zuchini chips & white truffle bread were delicious starters. We will be back!

    I had previously visited the Leawood, Kansas location of North Italia, so I was already familiar with the menu and overall concept. I was pleased to see that an Omaha location had opened at Village Pointe Shopping Center, and my wife and I decided to stop in on a cold, windy day in late December. While the restaurant wasn't packed, it was fairly busy. We put our name in for a table for two...and waited...and waited--about 35 to 40 minutes--despite the presence of multiple open tables throughout the restaurant. Naturally, we were puzzled, but chose to be patient. Once seated--at a two-top that had been open the entire time--we asked our server about the extended wait. She explained that they were short a few servers and that the host stand (staffed by four employees) was juggling both take-out phone orders and in-house seating. To avoid overwhelming the servers, they were intentionally slowing the pace of seating. Having worked in the industry myself, I could understand this approach. However, a typical guest waiting as we were would likely draw a very different conclusion--one that North Italia probably doesn't want spreading through today's fast-moving social media channels. If seating is being deliberately slowed, expectations must be managed. Guests need to know *why* they're waiting. Later, our server added that their electronic seating software was down, which was actually the primary cause of the delays, as staff had to manually track table availability. The point remains the same: communicate clearly with waiting guests. Without context, delays can easily be mistaken for inattention or poor organization. Once past the initial frustration, the rest of the experience improved significantly. The interior is bright, open, and thoughtfully designed, with multiple distinct seating areas and a variety of table configurations. The open kitchen, visible behind glass, adds energy and transparency to the space. We were only looking for a light bite, so we ordered the Italian Meatballs and the Italian Farm Salad, both enthusiastically--and accurately--recommended by our server. The presentation, quality, and flavor were excellent. As we discovered during our visit to the Leawood location, North Italia takes its Italian cuisine seriously, and that commitment clearly shows. Service was solid, though not always as attentive as we would have preferred. Diners at North Italia in Village Pointe are likely looking for a relatively efficient experience rather than a long, lingering meal. It would benefit management to ensure servers recognize this--or at least ask guests about their time constraints. We weren't in a hurry, but shoppers stopping in for a quick meal may be. Despite the initial frustrations and negative perceptions created by the wait, this visit still earns a solid four-star rating. The food, atmosphere, and menu largely outweigh the drawbacks, and given that much of the delay stemmed from a software issue, I expect the host stand experience to be smoother on our next visit.

    The restaurant is inside the mall. I was walking around in my pajamas near the Apple Store and just happened to see it. I got curious about what they serve, so I decided to go in. The ambiance was really nice. It would've been even better if the weather wasn't so cold because I would've loved to sit outside and enjoy the sun. The food was fantastic and the server was great. Just making my review a little longer so it can get posted lol. Keep in mind most of the reviews are either 1 star or 5 stars, barely any 4 stars lol.

    I was really excited for North Italia to come to Omaha, and we intentionally waited over a month to try it so it had time to find its footing. Unfortunately, we left feeling a bit disappointed. The interior is absolutely adorable, but the rest fell short. We came in for a late lunch after 2 p.m., and while there was plenty of staff and it wasn't very busy, service felt inattentive. I ordered a mocktail to start, but it didn't arrive until we were boxing up leftovers. We declined it at that point, though I did appreciate that they later brought it in a to-go cup as we were putting on our coats. We started with the white truffle bread. Visually stunning with a nice crunch on the crust, but the flavor didn't quite deliver. For mains, I ordered the Strozzapreti and my husband had the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka. Both dishes lacked depth and seasoning. A bit of fresh cracked pepper, extra cheese, or even more salt could have made a big difference. I'm open to coming back to try the pizzas, but at this point it's not somewhere I'm rushing back to.

    Loved the ambiance and it was a nice day so the patio was open and bar was open air. Great menu. Decent portions however a tad over priced on some of the menu items. A simple salad was $11 and one or the breads were a tad pricey as well in my opinion. Service was great. My reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is my dish lacked flavor but I would come back and try other dishes.

We started off getting their special Christmas cocktails. I got the Snow Bird and my husband got the Not the buttons. The drinks were pretty disappointing, my husband couldn't even finish a quarter of his. The Snow Bird had a coconut foam on top that was absolutely gross in my personal opinion, but the drink itself was fine once I got the straw and avoided the foam. Both of us got burgers with fries and the burgers were very delicious. I would have liked to have some seasonings on the fries though. The staff were welcoming and as attentive as they could be with only having two of them managing about 7 tables and one bartender. The space is very festive and decorated so cozy. Their theming and decor is always phenomenal and truly makes the experience magical. I have most recently gone to their halloween pop-up, and their Christmas one as well, and both were equally jaw-dropping when it comes to presentation. The service is always great as well, and our first time at Barnato we were confused on how to locate the speakeasy (since we had never been to one before) and the staff was very helpful. My one note is that their holiday mixed drinks have consistently been nicer to look at than to taste, but we mostly come for the theming anyhow.
