As far as food goes, Carrabba's pretty much always knocks it out of the park except for the occassional whoops. I come here craving the bread and oil/herbs, the lentil and sausage soup, the lobster ravioli, and calamari. This time was during Happy Hour (sit in the bar) and the happy hour wine I got came with a little charcuterie plate on top which was so cute! I love the Happy Hour menu for getting some of my faves at a reduced price. I also recently attended a specially scheduled wine dinner here and highly recommend going to one if you can! Our waitress in the bar was a little curt and acted rushed, but there were only one or two other tables with guests in the bar area. Other than that, another nice visit! read more

My family and I ordered takeout from Carrabba's during the holidays and we were a bit disappointed in the quantity of food received. I got the Mezzaluna ravioli along with a Caesar salad. While the salad was great, the ravioli portion was so small that I was still hungry after finishing it. This was surprising given I almost always have leftovers. And given the entree price of $21.99, I would have preferred boiling store-bought ravioli at home and mixing it with Rao's sauce. Still, I will say the food was delicious. But I can't get over a pasta dish being this small. Here's to hoping the portion size (and not the price) will increase in 2026! read more

We went to Carrabba's with a larger group on a Saturday evening recently. There was a wait to get a table, but it wasn't too bad, maybe 25-30 minutes or so. We had drinks at the bar while we waited, so that helped pass the time. Once we got seated, we had two servers who made sure we had everything we could possibly want throughout our visit. We never had to wait for drink refills, extra bread, more olive oil, anything. We had some questions about the menu that were quickly answered, and they made sure that any dietary restrictions were taken seriously. We ordered the bread tower, fried mozzarella and the fried zucchini for appetizers. They were all a hit. The bread tower is my favorite. For dinner, I had the Rigatoni Martino, which had sauteed mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and cheese in a tomato sauce. It was quite delicious. They don't have a ton of vegetarian options marked on the menu, but we found that some items that weren't marked with a V were still vegetarian, so it's worth asking if you're unsure. The only snag during our visit was that most dessert options were sold out after a busy Saturday night. They went above and beyond to make up for the lack of options though, and the cannoli cake that we did taste was really good. This is a Coke establishment, and they have Coke Zero! A solid choice for Italian dining. This is what the chain restaurants of America's yesteryear exemplified: reasonable, consistent quality with predictable menus and flavors across the whole country. Our steaks were perfectly done (medium well and medium rare), the lasagne was well-cooked, and the eggplant parmesan was good, too, though too high a breading to eggplant ratio. The burrata caprese was middling, not really the shining mound of mozzarella with gooey inside you might hope for, but fair for all its parts. The presentation seems too much like a side salad. Overall, the meals were good, but Carrabba's really needs to dial down the salt level. I'm not salt-phobic, by any means, but it's burgeoning on the mouth-burn side of "too much." The place where these individual restaurants shine is really customer service. All the staff here were pleasant and courteous, the environment was clean and welcoming. Our server at table was very friendly, and helpful for all our needs throughout our meal. We had the meatball sliders and mezzaluna fritte and both were delicious and a great price. The blood orange margarita was perfection. The lasagna and mezzaluna were not good. I'm pretty disappointed that I ended up just eating the plain fries I ordered with it. Sunday Funday errands drug us out West today, and it's been DECADES since either of us ate at Carrabba's Italian Grill, so we stopped by. Let's just say I don't remember the cheapest plate being $17; but times are tough... I get it. Snagged the Fettuccine Weesi (with a spoon please!) with lovely done up shrimps, mushrooms and an excellently balanced white wine lemon butter sauce (light... on the lemon ). The noods were done just right; not too chewy and not too soft. The sauce was delish! If you didn't have a trio option, would it really be an Italian-esq restaurant? To the trio! Fettuccine Alfredo, a slice of lasagna, and one... slender piece of chicken boob, and Parmesan cheese. Alfredo sauce was delish and I heard the red sauce was just as delish (not a fan of the red sauce)! Went sans drinks this time, but add a glass of red and you'd fit right in. Had about a 15m wait for two folks, due to the staffing shortage. We're both patient people so didn't bother us too terrible. I really wanted to like Carrabas tonight. I hadn't been there in ages -- maybe since it was new, and had fond memories, but now ... The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the staff were very friendly. In terms of staff, it seemed a little sparse, but service was great. We started with happy hour specials -- a watermelon cocktail that was very summery and not too sweet, and a blackberry sangria that was delicious enough to save some of it for dessert (though again, NOT an overly sweet choice). We opted for a house salad and a Caesar salad both of which were fresh and crisp and delicious. Served alongside was warm bread and olive oil for dipping -- a nice change from basic bread and butter. Sooo many things on the menu sounded delightful, it was hard to choose, but we went with basic spaghetti and meatballs (actually, angel hair), and fettuccine weesy -- billed as fettuccine Alfredo with sautéed shrimp, scallions, garlic and mushrooms in a white wine lemon butter sauce. The meatballs were small and "wet," which is a change from what we're used to, and not much flavor. There was a crunch to the bite of the pasta, which if it was intended to be al dente, it needed about a 2-minute dunk more in the boiling water, but I think it was rosemary or thyme stem. Either way,not optimal. The fettuccine also needed a dunk in the water before serving -- not because it wasn't sufficiently cooked, but because it was seemingly placed in the center of the plate and left to sit for a bit before adding the otherwise delicious sauce. The coil of pasta was stuck together and difficult to separate as it had a nice amount of sauce, but not enough to reheat it through and make it twirlable on the fork. The shrimp was cooked just right, not overdone, but​ the description indicated "mushroomS," and I'd guess the slices I saw might have combined to form one, maybe two, mushrooms. Seriously, the dish could have been amazing, but tonight, it was just OK. We didn't really have room for dessert, but ordered cannoli "just to see." The filling was nice and smooth, just the right amount of creamy sweetness. There were two nice sized pastries in an order served in a swirl of chocolate (which for me, is overkill, but it's pretty). The ends were capped with large pieces of pistachio, which, unfortunately, were soft, instead of adding a decadent crunch. The actual cannoli shell also was a bit soft, not sure if it was stale or the victim of humidity. Overall, so much promise, but a disappointment. Kudos to the bartender/server we had, she was great. But it might be a long while before we try Carrabas again. read more

Came here on Friday night with call ahead 30 minute wait. There's open seats, but as norm, in this day & age, Not enough staff working!! Our waitress was super busy, but she greeted us right away & got our drinks ordered & served quickly! The table bread, butter & olive oil is really satisfying while you wait for your meal. They also have a nice wine selection. I ordered the Simply Salmon with broccoli. That has good flavors & cooked perfectly. The Carrabba's Italian Classic Trio was a hit for my Uncle. Today a friend and I went to Carrabba's @ 145th and Maple Rd and Omaha NE! Our first impression was this seems like a nice place! Very clean and not too noisy! Our waiter was very nice and attentive! We both opted for a lunch trio! We both had soup. She had lentil soup and I had chicken soup. Both of them were delightful! Real homemade soup! Then Caesar salad and last but not least stuffed mushrooms in a delightful sauce! All in all we both took home two of the mushrooms and sauce! We will be back! I have to say all of this was very reasonably priced! I have paid the same price for a fast food burger and fries that were not nearly as good as this lunch meal! read more

If you haven't attended their wine dinners I highly recommended it. It is a four course Chef inspired menu with 4 different wines to pair with each course. Nice size pours and always enough food to take some home. Serving staff work well together to make sure everyone gets the best meal. Prizes at the end of the night as an extra perk. We had never been to Carrabba's until last night. We were looking for meatless options (Lent) that's was close to where we were. Wow...what a find! Very welcoming, friendly staff greeted you smelled amazing. We were sat immediately and our serve (LT) came right over with waters and bread. Made some amazing suggestions and answered all our questions. We had the Sangrias (Blackberry and Peach) they were yummy! Ordered crab cakes appetizer, and I got the vegetable ravioli and my husband got the shrimp linguine in vodka cream sauce. Huge portions so leftovers. We also splurged and got the cannoli cake for 2. Went on Valentine's Day and of course it was busy. We made our way to the bar and service was so good we stayed there and ordered our dinner. They were serving a 4 course meal for $65! It was amazing! First they got us our drinks then the bread, olive oil and herbs! Delicious!! Then an appetizer, salad, dinner chicken Marsala, dessert and a glass of champagne. Everything was spot on and absolutely delicious so much food we had enough for the next day! Ambiance was ok but only bc of the crowd and sitting at the bar. We will definitely be back. Every December my wife and I join another couple to celebrate two birthdays. I'd never been to Carrabba's so when it was suggested I happily obliged. I was curious about the ambiance here because some of the pics made it look a bit...plain. In real life, it's fine, tho the pics don't lie. Service was courteous and respectful, light and quick. It was packed when we got there but our server did a nice job and kept up. I ordered one of the winter specials with a salad and a glass of the house cab. The whole thing delicious! The salad needed a smidge more lettuce, but had the perfect amount of dressing. The wood fired chicken on my pasta was tender and well seasoned, and I could taste the smokiness. We ended by splitting two desserts among the four of us and I probably ate more than my fare share because they were both delish. All around a really good experience. read more

INSULTING. THIS PLACE NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT. I ordered one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, a trio of dishes that included steak. I could not eat the steak. Hell, I couldn't even cut it; well, maybe with an electric hack saw. I send it back for another. Same thing except I was able to cut one bite from it. I tried to chew it but wound up spitting back on my plate. I asked to see the manager, someone we had not seen all evening. A man who had been running, including the bussing of tables, showed up. I explained the problem with the steak. He disappeared for a couple of minutes and returned with a bill that gave me a 10% discount. Ten percent! They were asking me to pay 90% for steak I could not eat. I sent it back. Finally, he returned with a new bill that removed the steak. Even that seems unfair considering that our evening had been ruined. Had I been the manager I would removed my dinner from the bill and offered a free desert as an apology. The manager's action lacked the quality that makes for a good and successful restaurant. We never saw the manager. read more

Before trying, I had never heard of anyone raving about Carrabbas. After our experience last night it will 100% be a new usual for us! We got the Pollo Rosa Maria (I think) and Garlic Rosemary Fries. I got the Chicken Marsala and fettuccini alfredo. We also got the sauce trio- all of it was incredible! Our waitress was Kaylee (Spelling is likely off) and she was very kind and tentative, definitely knows how to do her job! The restaurant had great low lighting and for whatever reason I love getting a booth- they had a 25 minute wait but texted when our table was ready. Love this! I just had the Meatball & Ricatta appetizer. It was fantastic, filling and fast! Even though they were moderate busy as they opened. The server, Sammy, was helpful as I looked over the menu and had the order out shortly after the water. The price of around $7 made it even tastier, somehow, lol, as I would've guessed around $10. Even though we were the first customers of the day, our booth seats were littered with bread crumbs. Hmmmm... There was only one person out on the floor for about the first 15 minutes...only one person to greet and seat diners, bring water and bread, take orders, and answer the phone (which would not quit ringing). The phone was ringing off hook; did I mention that? 3 more couples arrived about 10-15 min later. Finally a second person showed up to assist with customers...and looked like he just walked in the back door. The phone rang constantly. Would someone please answer the phone!?! We got to simultaneously listen to ambient music in the dining area plus different music in the kitchen for a little bit. Fun! I watched at least one couple walk out after several minutes of waiting to be seated. --Food: We ordered Pollo Rosa Maria with garlic mashed potatoes & Mamas chicken __ soup (spousal unit) and Penne Martino with side Caesar salad (me). The chicken was good "I guess", according to the spouse. She said the mushrooms tasted like they came out of a can and the prosciutto was sparse. A little too salty, but "...other than all that it was alright". I thought the penne was 'ok', but the sauce was kind of runny, so most of it was on the bottom of the bowl rather than coating the pasta. Bread/oil was good. No complaints. --Bottom line: Maybe they had people call out sick, I don't know, but when we left an hour later there were still only 2 people trying to do everything: seat customers, answer the incessant phone ringing, take orders, refill drinks, serve meals, bus tables, handle to-go orders (lots of those), and more. Between the wait to get in the door at opening time, the dirty seats even though we were the first ones there, the mediocre food, and more, I am giving 3 stars. I will give them a little bit of a break because times are tough, but still 3 stars; any other year this would have been a 2 star experience. I used to love Carrabba's. But I haven't been in several years, and I have never been to this Omaha location. I will be hard-pressed to go back to this location. read more
