Caesar salad no croutons.
Diana T.

Great food with even better company! We ordered a variety of food such as meatballs and spaghetti, lamb chops, grilled salmon (3 of us had the same thing). Our waiter was great also! He presented our expresso martinis fabulously. These were very tasty! The restaurant was very busy but it was a Friday night which is the traditional date night on top of it being lent season!

Rainbow Trout Roasted with lemon and butter, served with roasted vegetables and capellini with Alfredo sauce. It is a yum food!

The foods are awesome. But I recommend to be careful with appetizers. I got stuffed with appetizers and lost focus of main dishes as well as have to refuse the great deserts. The deserts here are really nice!

My brother told us about this restaurant that's known for their top tier service and amazing flavorful dishes. Decor gives date night vibe, but casual as a single person or with family. Service was great and greeted upon arrival per walk in with my brother and my son (infant). Our sever for tonight was Heather, she provided exceptional service and explained the menu and answered our questions. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and my brother had the seafood pasta dish (forgot name of dish), restaurant accommodate us with the white sauce pasta instead of red sauce pasta (amazing Alfredo sauce! And fresh food). Portions were great and had enough for tomorrow's lunch. Overall, amazing place, tip of it all was the famous Tiramisu! Must try. This restaurant was a great experience and felt welcome with such amazing staff and delicious food.

Spezia was next to my hotel. I tried it out on Friday night and it was an intimate hidden gem in my opinion. Stephen was my waiter on Friday night, he was great. I went back Saturday day night and didn't have a reservation yet they still seated me. The hosts at the front desk are the definition of hospitality. My waiter was Jackson and he helped me decide on my dish. Everyone here is very welcoming & accommodating. Lastly, there was a manager who walked over to me and asked how was my meal, that's something that is not done often enough, I really appreciated that, she was really nice as well. I will be back next year. The food here is amazing. Order the Mediterranean salad with grilled shrimp, it's delicious.

I always enjoy dinner here. Never skip having a fillet, but this time I just was not in the mood for meat so I tried the spaghetti with marinara sauce. It was quite tasty. Not too sweet good chunks of tomatoes and a garlic taste. I will definitely order this dish again. Only next time I think I would ask for an extra side of sauce. I like my pasta, saucy! as always, great service in particular for a group of 12, which we had on this visit.

Started the night off with their happy hour Crab Dip, which really didn't have much crab, but it did have a lot of artichokes! Came out ooey-gooey like with melted cheese, great pita, and slightly burnt tuscan bread; but the non-burnt parts were great! Chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta and roasted veggies was delish! Breading to chicken ratio was spot on and it was devoured in its entirety. Definitely a must try if it's your first time and not sure what to order. Was offered a salad, but items are ala carte so check pricing before you just say yes, to that $14 salad Bread is table service so there's no extra charge, but a decent way to soak up all the extra sauces, juices, olive oils with balsamic! I may or may not have... used them to... warm my hands... Wood Grilled Scallops with Lemon Risotto was EXCELLENT. Sturdy scallops (iykyk), great broccolini, and that risotto... there is a hidden lemon wedge in it so fish around accordingly! Paired it with their Aperol Spritz off their happy hour menu because why not. Little on the burnt side but most of it was drank, so can't harp too much. Did I mention I'm such a risotto whore? Passed on their dessert - but that rando piece of toffee that greeted us was tempting - but I DO love their Spezia Tiramisu such a must if and when you try them! I will never cheat on tiramisu with another.

I've been here twice now and the service is always 10/10 - they know how to create an upscale experience. The vibe is perfect for a cold winter day because it's dim and cozy. My food has always been good! I'm still waiting for the meal that wows me here but it has been good enough to keep coming back to try more options. Love that they do seasonal menus so there is always something new to try.

4.8 rating and over 2.8K reviews doesn't lie. Tuesday nite 6pm it's a full parking lot and wait time for a table with no reservations is an hour. Zero social media presence. That speaks volumes about a restaurant. The food was incredible. The portions were generous. It was made fresh to order and piping hot. We sat in the patio and got a table right away.

Spezia was delicious! One of the top Italian restaurants in Omaha given quality of food, great service, and a cozy inviting space inside. Everything we ordered was high quality Italian dishes, you can tell they take every ingredient seriously when putting these dishes together!

Waitress did a great job at walking us through the menu. Had bread and crab/artichoke dip for dessert. It was a little fishy for me. We split a Cesar salad. Glad we did because it was big! Entrees were a pasta dish (not on menu, she helped us create) and steak. Both were phenomenal! Dessert we had their lemon cake and tiramisu. Would recommend both! Highly recommend.

We were impressed with the quality of food here even after so many years and being so busy! We came during happy hour and took advantage of the appetizer and drink specials. My MIL and I had the limoncello collins, husband had the old fashioned and a glass of Pinot noir, and FIL had a Peroni. It was a varied and (for happy hour) extensive drink list to choose from. There were several apps on the happy hour menu too, we opted for the fried calamari. It was fresh and I liked the peppers they added to it. I ordered the airline chicken with mashed potatoes and sautéed veg. It was so good! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the skin was crispy on top. The potatoes were soft and velvety, and the veg were all cooked so well. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered! We ended with an espresso for me, coffee for my FIL, and all split a huge piece of their signature tiramisu. It was plenty for all of us! The only drawback was the service was rather slow, and we had to rush through the dessert to get to our show in time. She forgot my FIL's coffee at the end, too. It was a busy night so I'm guessing that's why the service lacked a bit.

For the quality you get, the prices are hard to beat, which makes the experience even better. The ambiance is warm and classic, exactly what you would hope for in a traditional Italian restaurant. This is a MUST HAVE, I repeat a must‑have. Perfect crisp outside, soft inside, next‑level cheese pull, and that garlic drizzle seals the deal. I could've eaten just that and left happy. For the main course, I had the penne bolognese fiorna, and it was flawless (rich, fresh, and a generous portion). My better half went for the Big Vinny Combo (chicken parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo, baked lasagna). Everything hit except the Alfredo needing a touch more salt... though she definitely didn't need any help enjoying those glasses of wine. The kiddo crushed her cavatappi with shrimp -- fork never stopped moving, and she couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Though it could be considered slightly pricey, it's absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back.

We started off with happy hour drinks and calamari. The lemonchello and Negroni are strong!!! You've been warned! The calamari was surprisingly delicious. It didn't have a fishy taste, the breading was thin, tasty and yummy. The sauces it came with were also bomb. It had a nice kick along with pickled peppers that I could eat by itself. Now to the stars of the show -- margherita and pepperoni pizza. Wow. It almost felt like our taste buds were transported to Italy after the first few bites. Both of these pizzas were on the happy hour menu. I strongly recommend getting them if you're in a pizza mood. From the fresh dough, to fresh cheese and marinara sauce.. these pizzas alone are a huge reason we will come back. Our daughter had the buttered noodles which were also tasty. That first impression matters. Our server Paul was a true professional. The best way I can describe him is that he represents what hospitality should be. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. His wine recommendation of a Barbera d'Asti with the braised beef completely surprised me in the best way. What really impressed me was Jen checking back in after seating us to help get our toddler's order in quickly. She read the situation perfectly while we were managing both kids.
