Another wonderful experience at Spezia! This restaurant has its own parking, but it's pretty tight so plan accordingly. Reservations are highly recommended any evening of the week and anytime on weekends Cozy bar area, dining area, and two large party rooms that can be used for special events A great menu, seasonal specials, wonderful desserts, and a happy hour - who could ask for anything more?! Very attentive service and quality dishes make for a great experience. This restaurant is an Omaha staple and definitely a favorite as they're always busy. Check out Spezia, it has some parking make sure you have a reservation and Manga!

Food was very good. Served was incredible. Unfortunately I don't think I would return. The manager came tomoye table and said we needed to vacate our table (not asked) and move to the bar so that another reservation could have our table. There were multiple tables finished eating and we haven't even been offered our checks yet. We got there at 5pm on a Tuesday. I've never had a manager tell us to move to the bar ever. We were when our 94yr old friend to celebrate her bday. I found it rude to make us move and of purse bar was full anyway so we stood in parking lot to finish chatting. Horrible.

Great food with even better company! We ordered a variety of food such as meatballs and spaghetti, lamb chops, grilled salmon (3 of us had the same thing). Our waiter was great also! He presented our expresso martinis fabulously. These were very tasty! The restaurant was very busy but it was a Friday night which is the traditional date night on top of it being lent season!

It was my first time at Spezia last night. I was truly impressed. We were a party of 17 and the service was impeccable. Our waiter was sweet, fast and efficient. The food came out in my opinion in record timing considering there were 17 of us. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the cheese ravioli pasta and it was delicious. If you want great service and delicious Italian food come to Spezia!

My brother told us about this restaurant that's known for their top tier service and amazing flavorful dishes. Decor gives date night vibe, but casual as a single person or with family. Service was great and greeted upon arrival per walk in with my brother and my son (infant). Our sever for tonight was Heather, she provided exceptional service and explained the menu and answered our questions. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and my brother had the seafood pasta dish (forgot name of dish), restaurant accommodate us with the white sauce pasta instead of red sauce pasta (amazing Alfredo sauce! And fresh food). Portions were great and had enough for tomorrow's lunch. Overall, amazing place, tip of it all was the famous Tiramisu! Must try. This restaurant was a great experience and felt welcome with such amazing staff and delicious food.

Started the night off with their happy hour Crab Dip, which really didn't have much crab, but it did have a lot of artichokes! Came out ooey-gooey like with melted cheese, great pita, and slightly burnt tuscan bread; but the non-burnt parts were great! Chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta and roasted veggies was delish! Breading to chicken ratio was spot on and it was devoured in its entirety. Definitely a must try if it's your first time and not sure what to order. Was offered a salad, but items are ala carte so check pricing before you just say yes, to that $14 salad Bread is table service so there's no extra charge, but a decent way to soak up all the extra sauces, juices, olive oils with balsamic! I may or may not have... used them to... warm my hands... Wood Grilled Scallops with Lemon Risotto was EXCELLENT. Sturdy scallops (iykyk), great broccolini, and that risotto... there is a hidden lemon wedge in it so fish around accordingly! Paired it with their Aperol Spritz off their happy hour menu because why not. Little on the burnt side but most of it was drank, so can't harp too much. Did I mention I'm such a risotto whore? Passed on their dessert - but that rando piece of toffee that greeted us was tempting - but I DO love their Spezia Tiramisu such a must if and when you try them! I will never cheat on tiramisu with another.

Meal/Time: Lunch/Monday Party Size: 2 Seated: immediately Ordered: First ordered item arrived: within 15 minutes Large parking lot. Ample space. Decor/Atmosphere: dark wood decor. Feels like an old fashion srwak house. Large bar. Service/ Front of the House: We had lunch reservations. I arrived 30 minutes early and was seated immediately. Have to wait for my friend. Service/Serving Staff: Arrived with waters within 5 minutes of seating. Took my drink order. As I was waiting, she asked if I wanted an appetizer. Good idea... Food: Bruschetta $14 Smoky pita and crust Tuscan bread. Smoky garlic rubbed Very lovely... the fresh tomatoes with a hint of garlic. Could use more olive oil in my opinion. Italian Dip with side salad $16. Good salad...the Thai Vinnegrete is bit thick. The sandwich is OK. Love the bread but the au jus was a bit on the salty side. I always enjoy dinner here. Never skip having a fillet, but this time I just was not in the mood for meat so I tried the spaghetti with marinara sauce. It was quite tasty. Not too sweet good chunks of tomatoes and a garlic taste. I will definitely order this dish again. Only next time I think I would ask for an extra side of sauce. I like my pasta, saucy! as always, great service in particular for a group of 12, which we had on this visit.

4.8 rating and over 2.8K reviews doesn't lie. Tuesday nite 6pm it's a full parking lot and wait time for a table with no reservations is an hour. Zero social media presence. That speaks volumes about a restaurant. The food was incredible. The portions were generous. It was made fresh to order and piping hot. We sat in the patio and got a table right away.

I've been here twice now and the service is always 10/10 - they know how to create an upscale experience. The vibe is perfect for a cold winter day because it's dim and cozy. My food has always been good! I'm still waiting for the meal that wows me here but it has been good enough to keep coming back to try more options. Love that they do seasonal menus so there is always something new to try.

Waitress did a great job at walking us through the menu. Had bread and crab/artichoke dip for dessert. It was a little fishy for me. We split a Cesar salad. Glad we did because it was big! Entrees were a pasta dish (not on menu, she helped us create) and steak. Both were phenomenal! Dessert we had their lemon cake and tiramisu. Would recommend both! Highly recommend.

Spezia was delicious! One of the top Italian restaurants in Omaha given quality of food, great service, and a cozy inviting space inside. Everything we ordered was high quality Italian dishes, you can tell they take every ingredient seriously when putting these dishes together!

Right off the bat, we were greeted warmly and had the sweetest waitress. We ordered drinks and some focaccia. It came out warm with fresh parmesan cheese and oil. Light and airy, it melted in our mouths - absolutely delicious! Our pasta entrees were each perfectly seasoned and plated. Al dente. We both could have licked our plates clean! The sauces were perfection. And then the best part of an already flawless meal - the homemade tiramisu. If you come here don't order that, what are you even doing?! It was so good, I needed a cigarette afterwards (and I don't smoke). We will without a doubt be back, sooner than later. Thank you, Cibo Vino!

I've been here on multiple occasions and the consistency and service is unmatched. I think they do a really great job handling busy evenings because I've never had an issue getting a reservation here last minute. It helps the restaurant is large, but I haven't found it influences the quality. My favorite menu items are the vodka pasta and the brown butter alfredo. It's a really hard debate every visit. For $4 you must try the very large portion of rosemary focaccia. They also have one my favorite Caesar salads in Omaha. I also love to snag a spot on the patio if available -- great people watching!

For the main course, I had the penne bolognese fiorna, and it was flawless (rich, fresh, and a generous portion). My better half went for the Big Vinny Combo (chicken parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo, baked lasagna). Everything hit except the Alfredo needing a touch more salt... though she definitely didn't need any help enjoying those glasses of wine. The kiddo crushed her cavatappi with shrimp -- fork never stopped moving, and she couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Though it could be considered slightly pricey, it's absolutely worth it. We started off with happy hour drinks and calamari. The lemonchello and Negroni are strong!!! You've been warned! The calamari was surprisingly delicious. It didn't have a fishy taste, the breading was thin, tasty and yummy. The sauces it came with were also bomb. It had a nice kick along with pickled peppers that I could eat by itself. Now to the stars of the show -- margherita and pepperoni pizza. Wow. It almost felt like our taste buds were transported to Italy after the first few bites. Both of these pizzas were on the happy hour menu. I strongly recommend getting them if you're in a pizza mood. From the fresh dough, to fresh cheese and marinara sauce.. these pizzas alone are a huge reason we will come back. Our daughter had the buttered noodles which were also tasty. Our server was great, food came out in a timely manner. The space itself is clean and cozy. There is a bar, plus indoor and outdoor seating. Based on the food alone, this easily could have been a 4-star experience. Unfortunately, the service made us feel like we were an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. We didn't have a reservation, and I completely understand that it was a Friday around 6 p.m. in a small restaurant near the Old Market. We fully expected we might have to wait. Instead, we were told, "Well, all I have is this table for two, but I need it by 7." It was about 5:45, so we said that was totally fine and we'd easily be finished by then. From that point on, though, it felt like the clock was ticking. We were seated and immediately given water, which was great, but we already felt rushed so we quickly chose a pizza and focaccia to split. Once the food arrived, the check-ins became frequent enough that it was hard not to notice. As soon as we took the last piece of focaccia, the board was whisked away. As soon as we took the last piece of pizza, that was cleared too. The check came almost immediately. We were in and out in about 30 minutes...roughly 45 minutes before they actually needed the table. Take that for what it's worth, positive or negative. I want to give a lot of grace because it was a busy Friday night, but the overall atmosphere from the service, including a hostess who seemed visibly unhappy much of the time, kept this from being a four-star experience for us. The food is absolutely worth having again, but next time we'd probably choose carryout so we can enjoy it without feeling like a nuisance for being there.
