Came here with our 13u travel ball team, so we had a big group for dinner. Our server Kelly was very helpful when she helped us move from the back room to the front of the restaurant. She also split the check for each player and their family and stopped by several times to check on us and refill our drinks. As for the food, it was good Italian food, but nothing too spectacular. The salad was actually really good as the salad bar had numerous toppings to choose from. I got the chicken parm and it was good. Big piece of chicken and it went nicely with the side of spaghetti. People in our group got different items like the chicken Alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs, and lasagna and they all liked their meals. I love coming to Spaghetti Works. Is it the best pasta you'll ever have? No. Is it good though and does it come with bottomless refills and salad bar? Yes. The salad bar is great - loads of fresh veggies and other sides like cottage cheese and pasta salad to load up your plate. Then the bottomless pasta... choose your pasta, choose your sauce, (my go-to is Hot Naked and Spicy Marinara), and mix and match to your heart's content. I honestly didn't expect to get seated right away at a packed downtown spot, but we walked right in! The food and service were totally on point. They have an awesome build-your-own salad bar, and the garlic bread starters were so good. We got the Clam Strips and the Lobster Sensation, and I also built my own pasta combo with Spicy Italian, red clam, livers, and mushrooms. "The salad bar is good" seems to be the overwhelming theme of reviews of Spaghetti Works and I would agree. It feels a bit like a lower end knock off of a Spaghetti Factory without the charm or much flavor in the food. It's serviceable and probably good for families but outside of the salad bar I would probably skip it if I was in town again. read more

We went to the Ralston location which was busy but wait time was minimal. We had such a great experience here we came with our baseball team with about 30 people and we had incredible service, our server Kelly went above and beyond. We had a really great option for the $19 group menu that included a main entry, salad bar, drinks and unlimited garlic bread. The atmosphere is fun. It's really cute, it gives classic Pizza Hut vibes in a good way. Part of the experience is choosing your pasta and the cause and toppers, so if you don't like what you got you can always try something new. I think this makes it hard to dislike the food because there's a ton of combinations that you can have. The staff is also really nice and friendly, and kept our drinks full, and offered bread and pasta refills frequently. It was also really reasonably priced and I left VERY full! read more

I went to dinner with a big group and we went to this restaurant and most of them ordered the chicken alfredo, it took around 2 hours to come and the food was pretty good, but it wasn't good enough to take 2 hours. Adding onto that a dad on the team ordered a beer and it took 30 minutes for someone to say they didn't have it. Then he ordered a different beer and that one took 45 minutes for someone to say they didn't have. He decided to go to the bar and serve himself another different kind of beer. Worst experience ever! Hostess and wait staff were congregated at the hostess podium - 6 of them. With the manager joining them at one time. They were watching something on a cellular phone. They were crowding the area for incoming customers. They have a number of menu items, but you are probably going to get the all-you-can-eat pasta. There are a number of pasta shapes available (in case you are worried the spaghetti will be messy). And then there are...I don't know, maybe a dozen...different sauces to choose from. I always get the red clam, it's just not right if I don't! Staff is attentive, if you want another plate of pasta they will make sure you get it right away! You can have a different choice for that one. Salad bar is great. It is included with the pasta dinners; garlic bread is as well. Sometimes I get an Italian soda (banana, with cream). We were laughing because our straws were not tall enough for the glass! Updating my over 8-year review because I can't help but frequent Spaghetti works when in Omaha (as a Lincolnite that misses it) and recent experiences have had no concerns as expressed in my previous review regarding service and cleanliness, so they must have improved. I can't look any further on the menu other than the make your own pasta combinations, so that is all I'm speaking to. But that is all I need from them. But we absolutely love their beer cheese and hot oil sauce and it will keep us coming back for more. Other favorites include pesto, Cajun Alfredo, spicy marinara and red clam.
