It was what you would expect from a place that does endless pasta. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and added the salad bar for extra $. The sandwich was fine, I appreciated that the mayo came on the side so you can add however much you want. The salad bar selections were decent, but a lot of the lettuce was brown. The addition of beets saved the salad bar for me. My partner ordered alfredo pasta with chicken. It was small in my opinion, and looked like you just made it yourself at home as a quick dinner. What really gives this place a 2 star instead of 3 for me, is that when my partner asked for a refill of the pasta (this is an endless pasta restaurant), he received another plate of what he originally ordered. That's fine, until I realized the server charged us twice for it, instead of refilling with the "free option" (i'm assuming it's a smaller portion, or maybe no chicken?). It felt intentional. As a server myself, I can understand you want to increase the bill for a higher tip, but don't trick people and leave that information out. We came for the endless pasta and ended up paying for all of it. read more

I've been to spaghetti Works dozens of times, but this is my first time at the Ralston location. It was pretty much identical, aside from being smaller. The salad bar is always amazing, so many options, and the lettuce is always fresh. The Cajun pasta tasted great -- I added some of the Parmesan and crushed red pepper on the table, and it was absolutely amazing with these! I love the unlimited refills, and got a second place to take home. The service was great, no complaints. Overall, this is a very affordable meal, especially considering unlimited refills! Even if you don't take advantage of this, it is a great value for a solid salad and pasta dinner. I would definitely recommend coming in! read more

Spaghetti Works - Cajun alfredo bow tie - Italian Near Me - Ralston, Nebraska

Spaghetti Works has always been a family fun place to celebrate birthdays, especially for the picky ones. Prices are reasonable, and spaghetti is unlimited and the kicker is you can change sauces and spaghetti types as much as you want! My fave is spicy red clam sauce with angel hair pasta. That has a nice kick to it that's not too much. I decided to try a grilled chicken sandwich that was decent and I like how it came with a good portion side of pasta! Perfect!! They have a salad bar that has more than the usual toppings like pretzels & applesauce. I have to give credit to our young guy server for handling our large table of 12 with quick speed, accuracy & a smile! It was no easy feat with all the second helpings going in and getting extra stuff was a lot!! read more

Yum! An Omaha class I feel like. This one has an amazing salad bar with pretty much any option you can think of which I truly think is the best part. The building was clean and still had the old timer feeling which I love. The staff were very friendly and catered really well even to a large group. I also love the bread that comes out complementary, you can never go wrong! I would love to come back to try some other pasta options. read more

Nice Atmosphere, but the Food Needs More Flavor Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciated the good service, but based on my experience with food, I would not return, The dishes need more seasoning, more garlic, and much more flavor. The bread honestly tasted better than the meal. read more

It was OK...I was a guest with a graduating party ..very busy ..the hostesses seated us almost immediately..a table for 7 people. The salad bar was the star! Everything was very fresh and plenty for everyone! I had the eggplant Parmesan..it was not what I expected ..it lacked cheese and it was a bit watery...and it was cold....I boxed it up and took it home..(the salad bar and garlic bread was plenty enough for me) it was very busy and noisy ..lots of kids and a bit crowded for my taste...server was great though.. read more

We had a very enjoyable lunch recently at the Park Drive Spaghetti Works. I had my usual original sauce with bow tie pasta while Bookguy had a combination of Alfredo, pesto, and white clam. To his taste buds, everything tasted the same. He had a second serving of white clam for the flavor. That one did taste like clams. The marinara I had was just as expected. The salad bar that comes with the pasta gives us a chance to customize our salads to our liking. I don't usually go for salad bars since Covid. The old vehicle used to present the salad is clever and perfectly suited to the old-timey vibe created with the vintage advertising. I do wish they had had sanitizer at both ends. It's too late when you've already gone through it. The day we were there was fairly quiet and we had a pleasant lunch. read more

Almost always a great experience for lunch. Great lunch deals. Love the angel hair pasta and salad bar of course. Still upset they took away the flavored Coca Cola machine. Ambiance is cool but could be a little cleaner both in the booths and with the salad bar read more

Horrible service. Act like she was really doing us a favor to bring us water or drinks. Welcome just to the salad bar. However, we sat there for 15 minutes with no silverware. When the food came, the proportions were small. For the charge they charge read more

Since there are two locations in Omaha, my sister and I thought we'd go and try one we hadn't been to. I really liked how this location had a parking lot rather than having to struggle to find parking in downtown Omaha. We were seated right away and our waiter Robert was very kind. I will have to say my favorite part of spaghetti works would have to be the salad bar. There are so many options and the veggies are always fresh. We both ordered the all you can eat pasta.... Who wouldn't for the price! I started off with the Cajun alfredo which is a personal favorite of mine. I really appreciate that they have so many different kinds of pasta to pair with all of their sauces! It allows for a unique flavor adventure for each visit. We also loved looking at all of the different plaques and images on the walls. There are so many things to look at but my favorite has to be the salad bar truck!! read more

We tried Spaghetti Works for the first time. Atmosphere is great, loved the hand painted signage around the restaurant. My meal of Chicken parmesan came with a large side of spaghetti and a trip to their salad bar. She had the design your own pasta with your choices of pasta, sauces and toppings. The salad bar was pretty decent. Food was pretty good. Spaghetti sauce was really sweet though. read more

Years ago we had a bad experience at this location around 10 years ago. The wait staff was upset that our large family was drinking their pops too fast. It was for a birthday so there was probably 14-15 of us there. Fast forward to current we have eaten here over the last two years and the service has been great. The food was always good. I prefer the Cajun Chicken Alfredo which gets you the salad bar as well which has just about every option that you can think of. The restaurant has a local, family feel in decor and seating. It's good to see that this restaurant improved service as I'm not sure that we ever waited for anything and the staff were very courteous. read more

An iconic Italian food restaurant in the city. I would say this place is known for a casual carefree atmosphere and good quality American Italian food. Numerous sauces, generous portions and a good variety of pasta noodles. On Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's please expect to wait for a table, but it's worth the wait. read more

The salad was great until I pulled a foot long hair out of my mouth, my appetizer never came, the Lasagna was very good very flavorful. The server said that the manager was going to address the hair issue and never came by. All and all I'd try it again but they really need to get it together. read more

Had some GrubHub from here the other night. I had the angel hair pasta and meat sauce. The flavor was quite good but the sauce helping was a bit slim compared to the noodles. The garlic bread was quite tasty as well. read more

I know it's Valentines Day and most restaurants will be busy. There were 5 hostess and one poor waiter for 12 tables. Management should have scheduled more help!! The salad bar was empty we didn't get any garlic bread that was to come with the solo salad bar. We had to wait for Jackson our waiter for refills on our drinks and for another plate for the salad bar. It was very disappointing we were there at 3:45 pm read more

We haven't been here since an abysmal experience in August of 2019. And we had no intention of coming back, but a friend from out of town is a big fan of spaghetti and wanted to come here. Okay. For a friend. But it will likely be another 5 years before we return. At least this time, I felt like they deserved 2 stars instead of only 1. First, I am mobility impaired. It's no secret since I use a walker. So I was shocked when the hostess placed us at a table the farthest distance possible from the front. Back by the kitchen...where staff was yelling at each other loudly enough that it interrupted our conversation at our table. Since several tables were available in the front section, why they had me walk all the way to the back was a mystery. Why the hostess walked so quickly that I couldn't keep up with her was a mystery as well. Next, it was a good 15 minutes before any wait staff acknowledged us. No hello, no water brought to us, nothing. This was how it went the whole time. He was nice enough when he was at our table, but he didn't stop by very much. Refills on drinks and pasta were VERY hard to get because he came by so seldom and he would leave before we could finish telling him what we would like. The food was tasty. But I didn't get all I wanted, as getting a refill on my pasta was impossible. Since the plates are considerably smaller than they used to be, I went home hungry. But...as I said, the food was tasty. (The original sauce is definitely the best!) And unlike our experience 5 years ago, the waiter did honor our gluten-free needs. I gave an extra star this time because our waiter was very patient and efficient when we asked for the bill to be split and we used a coupon. We tipped him on the full amount, of course! But he didn't know we were going to and treated us no differently. (I know some people only tip on the amount after the discount has been applied, and I hate that.) I've been a customer of Spaghetti Works since 1982. I feel sad that it is no longer one of my favorite places. But we enjoyed being with our friend from out of town, and that's the most important thing. read more

The managers are very disrespectful, and it was a slow Monday and it took about 20-30 minutes for a plain bowl of pasta. 10/10 recommend it, if you want mediocre services. read more

The servers work hard. They are running around like crazy, but pleasant and attentive. But damn, glad I'm vaccinated. Um, zero social distancing. They're piling in people and packing the tables close. And don't even get me started on the salad bar and everyone touching everything and no hand sanitizing. (They do provide a hand sanitizing station at the salad bar. We just saw, literally, zero people use it.) And, of course, zero requirements in terms of customers wearing masks. No one in masks crowding around the salad bar or walking to and from the restrooms. (The servers were wearing masks.) So yeah, completely 1 star from a health standpoint. Absolutely terrible to see this sort of thing. Still have a soft spot in my heart, though, for the food. It's not great food. But there's something I just love about the sauces and the ability to get multiple sauces on one plate. read more

My absolute favorite spaghetti place!!!! The spaghetti is always the best (with very good prices), as well as the garlic bread. We were really crazing a good salad. We stopped in for lunch and both got the solo salad bar. This is actually all you can eat. The salad bar is on the bed of an old fashion truck which is really cool. They have a decent variety of toppings for your salad. I would have liked to see some sunflower seeds to put on my salad but that was my only complain. Our waiter was very helpful with any questions we had and was attentive with our plate and drink refills. Overall we had a great experience. I had the dumbest interaction at the Ralston Spaghetti Works on Friday night. The waiter was very nice but very slow. We have had him before so we knew it would take sometime to eat in his section. We ordered fairly quick for drinks and brought my drink back sat it down and then moved on. No other questions. About 5 minutes later he brought out my wife's Italian cream soda. Then went to another table and then into the back. About 5 minutes later he came back out and finally took our order. About 15 minutes later a runner brought our food out. I asked them for a refill. The next time the waiter stopped at our table was to drop off the check. When he dropped off the check my wife asked to have another cream soda. 10 minutes later that was finally brought out and then check was taken ring up. So now we are ready to go. Never saw the waiter again. Finally a manger (asst)? Comes by and we ask for a to go cup because we have waited way too long and are ready to go. Absolutely not to that request. Corporate does not give to go cups. If you want a to go cup you have to buy another drink. So I emailed corporate and and got the same answer about to go cups. Really hate to see them lose out on 30cents for a to go cup. Crazy to me. read more

I have done both eat in and take out at this location. I am surprised at the lack of Italian food in Omaha. Visiting from Denver my uncle wanted some Chicken Parm. It was the only place I knew since I had been there the year before with some friends, Made the order online and I guess it was strange for them as when I came in they had a little bit of a time finding my order. They even commented as to how strange it was the order came in that way. 2 Chicken Parms and a Lasagna. Each came with a side of bread. Bag was packed with everything neatly. Portions were enough for 2 meals so one of the parms was shared and the other left behind with my uncle so he didn't need to cook later in the week. The portion to price is great and if you eat in they still have the salad bar. That's hard to find most anywhere. Give them a try. I am sure you will be glad you did. read more

Excellent. Great service from an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Salad bar was well stocked and everything was fresh. I have no idea what my server's name was but she was terrific. The food is ok but not great. Our family of three agreed that it was a little lower quality than Olive Garden and above a Quizno level. The sparse salad bar was welcome. However, there were slimies (those pieces of black/green rotting lettuce) in the mixed greens. The other assorted veg and adds were ok. The pasta with sausage was ok. Not worth a second serving. read more

We don't go to Italian restaurants much, but I will definitely be making our family come back when our boys are starving! My teenager devoured two meat sauce pasta bowls and took a bowl home. I finished one bowl of spicy marinara and grabbed one to go as well. The salad bar was full and had a lot of options besides just salad and toppings. We all loved the garlic bread as well. We had to wait 30 minutes to get seated on Sunday, but I overlooked it after our nice service and all the food we took home. read more

Even though the food here is quite tasty, the service, on this evening, was not. "Boundless Pasta" with buttery garlic bread was very filling. You also can get refills on the pasta of your choice. Spaghetti with "original" and Alfredo really hit the spot. This, of course, comes with the full spread salad bar. Chicken Parmigiana with bow tie pasta was also very delicious. And folks, don't forget the Pin Point app. The Birthday/Anniversary rewards are well worth it! The down side: my waiter was disrespectful, until it was time to square up the check for premium tip. Thank you very much Kay! You made the whole night enjoyable. Excellent manager that made my party very happy. Her professionalism took this review from 2 stars to 4. read more

I personally am not a huge fan of spaghetti because that was my go to whenever I was deployed a lot of times. But, when my family wants it I go with the flow. I had to try the 3 sauce combo because I knew I would only eat one bowl and there were too many choices I wanted to try. I chose the spicy clam, beer cheese, and spicy marinara. I liked them all and couldn't choose a favorite honestly. The bowl filled me up but was happy to grab another bowl to go. The garlic bread was hot and fresh, and my PBR draft was ice cold. Feeds my always hungry boys nicely for a great price. read more

I am not a huge spaghetti fan but I enjoy spaghetti works well enough to eat there. What I do LOVE however is there salad bar. One of the best around with a large variety. A meal can be made from it alone! Service was good when I have been there. Sometimes it can be difficult to visit, bit that is what happens when there are large crowds. Some of the bench seats should be replaced as they sink pretty low and are difficult to get out of when it is time to leave. Also expected in a well there are many people that visit. I am sure this will in time be done. Will I return again? Yes I will! read more

Had the pleasure of dining at Spaghetti Works for our first meal out since arriving at our new home. Upon arrival, we were given the option of a real menu or using a Smartphone and a QR Code. Most people prefer a real menu, so as a hostess, please don't give anyone an attitude when they ask for a menu. Not everyone wants to deal with Smartphone technology. We were seated at a table that was too close to another occupied table. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I found this to be unacceptable as it was not the minimum six feet social distance that is needed. The other diners were literally right behind my back. I docked the restaurant one star for this. We ordered lasagna and cheese ravioli. Each came with a trip to the salad bar, which did not have a face/sneeze guard. Again not acceptable and does not follow food safety guidelines. I docked them another star for this. The portions for each entry were filling and the sauce had good flavor. We had an extra portion of garlic bread and the waitress brought me an extra drink without asking. Nice touch. I observed our waitress without her mask on at one point when we went up to the salad bar. Masks should be warn at all time per the health guidelines as posted on the front door. I took off another star due to this. All in all, the dining experience would have been exceptional had it not been for the three reasons as noted above. read more

My food was ok (spaghetti with 2 different sauces), but my brother's lasagna was served ice cold. I had to request napkins twice before they arrived at my table. When I ordered a second serving of spaghetti, 30 minutes went by and it never arrived (and the same thing happened to another person at our table). After it was obvious I wasn't going to receive my additional spaghetti, I finally had to track down my server and ask for my check. He later came out with someone else's check and credit card, so I sent him back to get MY check, which he then returned with. My recommendation is to not go to this place on a Saturday night (they obviously weren't sufficiently staffed to handle the customer traffic). read more
