    Cajun alfredo bow tie

I've been to spaghetti Works dozens of times, but this is my first time at the Ralston location. It was pretty much identical, aside from being smaller. The salad bar is always amazing, so many options, and the lettuce is always fresh. The Cajun pasta tasted great -- I added some of the Parmesan and crushed red pepper on the table, and it was absolutely amazing with these! I love the unlimited refills, and got a second place to take home. The service was great, no complaints. Overall, this is a very affordable meal, especially considering unlimited refills! Even if you don't take advantage of this, it is a great value for a solid salad and pasta dinner. I would definitely recommend coming in!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Spaghetti Works has always been a family fun place to celebrate birthdays, especially for the picky ones.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices are reasonable, and spaghetti is unlimited and the kicker is you can change sauces and spaghetti types as much as you want! My fave is spicy red clam sauce with angel hair pasta. That has a nice kick to it that's not too much. I decided to try a grilled chicken sandwich that was decent and I like how it came with a good portion side of pasta! Perfect!! They have a salad bar that has more than the usual toppings like pretzels & applesauce. I have to give credit to our young guy server for handling our large table of 12 with quick speed, accuracy & a smile! It was no easy feat with all the second helpings going in and getting extra stuff was a lot!!

It was OK...I was a guest with a graduating party ..very busy ..the hostesses seated us almost immediately..a table for 7 people. The salad bar was the star! Everything was very fresh and plenty for everyone! I had the eggplant Parmesan..it was not what I expected ..it lacked cheese and it was a bit watery...and it was cold....I boxed it up and took it home..(the salad bar and garlic bread was plenty enough for me) [[HIGHLIGHT]]it was very busy and noisy ..lots of kids and a bit crowded for my taste...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]server was great though..

We had a very enjoyable lunch recently at the Park Drive Spaghetti Works. I had my usual original sauce with bow tie pasta while Bookguy had a combination of Alfredo, pesto, and white clam. To his taste buds, everything tasted the same. He had a second serving of white clam for the flavor. That one did taste like clams. The marinara I had was just as expected. The salad bar that comes with the pasta gives us a chance to customize our salads to our liking. I don't usually go for salad bars since Covid. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The old vehicle used to present the salad is clever and perfectly suited to the old-timey vibe created with the vintage advertising.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do wish they had had sanitizer at both ends. It's too late when you've already gone through it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The day we were there was fairly quiet and we had a pleasant lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We tried Spaghetti Works for the first time. Atmosphere is great, loved the hand painted signage around the restaurant. My meal of Chicken parmesan came with a large side of spaghetti and a trip to their salad bar. She had the design your own pasta with your choices of pasta, sauces and toppings. The salad bar was pretty decent. Food was pretty good. Spaghetti sauce was really sweet though.

We haven't been here since an abysmal experience in August of 2019. And we had no intention of coming back, but a friend from out of town is a big fan of spaghetti and wanted to come here. Okay. For a friend. But it will likely be another 5 years before we return. At least this time, I felt like they deserved 2 stars instead of only 1. First, I am mobility impaired. It's no secret since I use a walker. So I was shocked when the hostess placed us at a table the farthest distance possible from the front. Back by the kitchen...where staff was yelling at each other loudly enough that it interrupted our conversation at our table. Since several tables were available in the front section, why they had me walk all the way to the back was a mystery. Why the hostess walked so quickly that I couldn't keep up with her was a mystery as well. Next, it was a good 15 minutes before any wait staff acknowledged us. No hello, no water brought to us, nothing. This was how it went the whole time. He was nice enough when he was at our table, but he didn't stop by very much. Refills on drinks and pasta were VERY hard to get because he came by so seldom and he would leave before we could finish telling him what we would like. The food was tasty. But I didn't get all I wanted, as getting a refill on my pasta was impossible. Since the plates are considerably smaller than they used to be, I went home hungry. But...as I said, the food was tasty. (The original sauce is definitely the best!) And unlike our experience 5 years ago, the waiter did honor our gluten-free needs. I gave an extra star this time because our waiter was very patient and efficient when we asked for the bill to be split and we used a coupon. We tipped him on the full amount, of course! But he didn't know we were going to and treated us no differently. (I know some people only tip on the amount after the discount has been applied, and I hate that.) I've been a customer of Spaghetti Works since 1982. I feel sad that it is no longer one of my favorite places. But we enjoyed being with our friend from out of town, and that's the most important thing.

Crab cakes. They don't skimp on the dipping sauce!

Friendly service, comfy setting, and oh yeah - the food! Unfortunately for me, there is too much seafood on the menu but there's always something. People rave about the seafood dishes so I'll trust them and say it must be good. I'm just not into it. On this visit, we each ordered a cocktail. I decided to try the lemon martini which I never order and OH MY GOODNESS. It was awesome! They nailed it. The limoncello brought it home. My dining partner had a dirty martini and was satisfied as well. We enjoyed a Spezia salad which featured mixed greens, prosciutto, tomato, Kalamata olives, and a house vinaigrette. It all combined so well. The lettuce was wonderfully fresh, no need to pick out rotting leaves like some places. The dressing was simply light and delish. We shared a plate of spaghetti. You get several options to add to it. The grilled spicy Italian sausage sounded good. I'm not sure which was better. The sausage or the marinara sauce. Both were soooooo good!! The sausage was truly grilled and spicy and just amazing, and it was not greasy either. The marinara sauce challenged my own that I make at home. We devoured that plate of spaghetti which was big enough to share. I forgot to take a picture as it was served so I am sharing a tight shot of half the order after we divided it.

Spezia, you let me down!…read more Our waiter struggled to keep up with the dinner rush. We arrived for our reservation and were seated at 6:40 where we weren't greeted by our waiter for quite awhile. It took a long time to get our drinks and I had to ask for bread so we decided to skip appetizers and go straight to our entree. When ordering the entree our waiter said "and which salad would you like?" And then listed the salad options. Normally when ordering a main and the waiter says which salad do you want that's because the salad comes with the meal. Nope. We were charged $11 per salad that we didn't even really want. The salads were your average side salad, but thankfully had good dressings. We hadn't brought up salads, the waiter did when we ordered our entree. So we were disappointed to have $20+ in salads that we didn't request until the waiter offered them. Our salads were finished for at least 15 minutes before our main entree came out at about 7:30, nearly an hour after we had been seated. My shrimp scampi was good, the broccolini was a touch under cooked but the flavors were still good, and the shrimp was surprisingly large in size and cooked exactly how it should be. Had we been served quicker and not offered things that didn't come with our meal when ordering our meal we may have been happier, hard to say. The table next to us was sat about 10 minute after us and had a different waitress. They received their entire meal (including bread & apps) and left before we were offered dessert. The food is good, I won't discredit that at all. But when coming to a restaurant like this you are expecting a level of service that we just didn't get. I'm sure we'll try again in the future and if service is better I will definitely update my review but for now, this was a let down of a birthday dinner.

Over time service dropped off (the staff is very young) and the food quality deteriorated. Over several visits we were served undercooked pizza, burned pizza, cold wagyu meatballs, and a glass of wine that had been wiped out with the rag they used to clean the counters so it reeked of (and tasted like) ammonia. Tonight we went in to give it another try. We were seated at the bar, one seat away from the manager who was evidently working on schedules or something similar. We browsed the menu, drinks list, chatted among ourselves, watched an employee try to figure out how to pull a draft beer from the tap, watched the couple beside us get their dinner, watched the manager share inside jokes or memes with one of the wait staff, and waited, and waited... over the span of approximately 10 minutes, as wait staff stood in the corner chatting, we were NEVER greeted, offered water, asked if we were ready to order... nothing. The manager who was literally one seat away from us at the bar was oblivious. We finally had enough waiting and decided to go elsewhere. I politely tapped the manager on the shoulder and explained to him that we were leaving, and told him why. He was shocked. Totally clueless.‍
