I went to Grace with a large group of friends. The service was fast and attentive. The restaurant looked nice and clean. The music did seem to get louder the longer we were there. The food looked good. My son enjoyed his Yard Bird pizza. I ordered the Randolph Calzone. I ended up receiving the Mediterranean Greek calzone. Not sure if mine got mixed up with someone else's order but I ended up eating it anyway. I wish I would have said something but they were busy so I didn't. My daughter loved her cheese pizza and I took some of the melted cheese from her pizza and added it to mine. Pizza's are approximately 12 inches and 6 slices. Went with Ashlyn's Art which is a cauliflower crust, sauce, feta, spinach, red onions, roasted garlic, roasted peppers, fresh basil and balsamic glaze. It was good, but she would have liked to have a bit more cheese on the pizza. I went with the Mike and Jen pasta dish. It consists of bow tie pasta, grilled chicken, garlic, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, capers, and romano cream sauce. It was absolutely delicious. Got the opportunity to meet one of the owners; Anna. Still tasty, just a little chaotic! My partner got the Heat Wave and was obsessed with the generous helping of meat and the hot honey drizzle. A friend ordered her go-to Mediterranean Calzone, which was a bit overdone this time. She opted not to wait for a remake since they were slammed--but she's a regular, so clearly it's usually a hit. It was almost closing time and I didn't exp to be able to order, however they welcomed us in and took great care of us with no rush and no problem accommodating us. Have been to Grace's this will be the fourth time now. The first time we took our 6.5 lb miniature Poodle and Maltese mix. He is a very well behaved boy. He is my spouses therapy/service dog for anxiety. Most times he has a service dog tag which also causes the wife anxiety because she thinks people are judging her for having a service animal. He travels with her in a purse, not on aa leash. So it's not like he is running around Most people don't even know he is there. Anyway we were grilled about if the dog was a service dog which he clearly was. Why the 20 questions. You should not do that. The food and pizza were good. we left with no further incident. Second visit, same situation, not one question about the dog in the purse. Good food shakes were amazing. Third visit, again with the 20 questions, and we were told if the dog was a pet that we could be seated on the patio or at the tables out front. We said we wanted to sit inside as was required by the ADA. They acquiesced. So the fourth time, tonight, we returned with intentions to go straight to the patio and were told that the patio has been closed by the city because there was an "unsafe" situation with a fence and the tables out front of the restaurant were owned by the city on city property and they could not serve us there but that we could get the food to go and sit there. They "just couldn't wait on us there". This was told to us by what appeared to be a 14 year old hostess. Again started the 20 questions about the service dog. We left and went to SPIN PIZZA on 84th St. and Highway 370, Great pizza, nice patio, no questions about the dog at all, great service and even brought a bowl of water and a slice of bacon for him. read more

Half Adrian's Art (no ricotta) - Cold. The only art was how fast it cooled. Patton's Pepperoni Pizza - Cold. So cold it felt intentional. Side of Hot Honey - Cold. A literal contradiction. Not to mention I think was literally just honey, no heat whatsoever. Beer Cheese Soup (2 cups) - Did not resemble beer cheese soup in look or taste. It looked like Italian meatball soup and had no detectable cheese flavor. Just confusion in a bowl. Service didn't help. Took the appetizer 45 minutes, part of the food 20 minutes after that, sauce sides about 10 minutes after that, and the food temperature still cold. Time to get our server's attention was about 10-15 minutes each time You weren't slammed. You weren't busy. You were just slow, like urgency called in sick and never came back. This was easily the worst visit I've had here since you opened. I wanted it to be good. Instead, I paid $79 for cold food, long waits, and soup with an identity crisis.
