Went here to meet a group of friends one evening and we really enjoyed ourselves. They have an extensive list of options for cocktails and wine. The environment makes you want to stay a while, as it should being a cigar lounge. We enjoyed watching the volleyball games on the large TVs surrounding the fire pits on the patio. Great night a few nights ago at the Copa great cigars picked a couple of my Father selections. Bourbon selection is quite good. Started with a Bardstown poor that went to Colonel EH Taylor, and ended up with George T Stagg Junior towards the end of the night. The service was spot on and I inadvertently of course left my jacket there Came back two days later just this morning and a sweet young lady let me in and had the jacket and was so gregarious and so smiling and so inviting that this is the place you wanna go if you wanna smoke some cigars and have a good time. read more

Great cigar lounge and bar. We arrive shortly after dinner to catch the NFL Monday night game. Humidor was smaller than I'm used to and had a decent selection. The waitress came in to help us but ultimately she had very little cigar knowledge. She was very friendly and checked on us at our table frequently. I've grown fond of this location for cigars while escaping the weather. While they have a patio, so do I. The bar is well-stocked and well-tended. Seating is comfortable and plentiful. The staff is good conversation and efficient. The cigar humidor is simple and effective. There are other locations if you're fishing for a particular stick. Thankfully, after visiting Copa, I didn't feel the need for a lung cancer screening (LOOKIN AT YOU SAFARI). A girlfriend invited me out for ladies night (Thursday) which also featured some great live music. For you ladies out there - on Thursday nights for every drink you order you are given a ticket which is entered into a drawing and every couple of months they pick a winner. The prizes are pretty amazing - think luxury handbags and shoes, massages, etc. As far as ventilation goes - there is only so much that can be done, but Copa is better than most. First - it helps that they have an enormous outdoor area and the interior offers large windows and doors that remain open to the outside in weather appropriate months. The outdoor area has some great fire pits and comfy lounge seating. Service was really attentive. I would recommend Copa as an good option for cigar smokers in Omaha. read more

When you walk in, you will noticed a room full of wide variety of cigars (brand, size, flavor, and price). I believed the cigars are stored in this controlled room so they can regulate the humidity, which has a significant effect on the cigar's flavor. Cigar smoking...it's all Greek to me! But basically, you pick up a cigar, order your favorite drink, and just bro out with your crew in the outdoor patio around the fire pit! It's a good time! I've been here twice. Be prepared to see a sea of old white men in collared short sleeved shirts and slacks...aka golf attire. If you don't smoke, sitting outside is a must...the smell of stale tobacco is really really intense. If that doesn't bother you than read on. We sat outside for the fresh air, and the fire pits they have made it pretty comfortable. The seats were gross though, covered in ashes and burn marks. The service was a bit slow my first visit and terrible my second visit. The first visit I had to find the server to order my second round. The second visit I decided it wasn't even worth the hassle of ordering a second round based on the slow service, so I found the server to ask for the check. There is a lack of consistency with how the drinks are made. My first visit the #10 (chocolate martini) was filled to the brim, had a pretty chocolate swirl around the glass, and had a Disaronno (sp?) soaked cherry in it. It was super pretty and tasted delicious. The second time it was barely half full, one lazy chocolate squirt on the glass, and no cherry. Little things like that annoy me because I like to know what to expect. I went during happy hour but it wasn't clear if my drink was included in the happy hour drinks or not. It said Effin vodka martinis were $6 but then it listed 4 drinks underneath it. I wasn't sure if those were examples or if that was supposed to be the complete selection. The bill had my drink priced at $8.50. Full price should have been $9 and HH price should have been $6 so I'm legit not sure how he came up with that price. I'm torn whether or not I want to give them a third visit. read more

All the top brands of cigars so you don't have to wade through the off brand stuff that's a mystery on quality. Bartender makes a great Manhattan. I've been coming in and enjoying some cigars and soda with friends for over a year now, tonight I was asked to pay for a soda multiple times by the bar tender with a unsavory attitude. Being a sober patron of the cigar bar it has put a nasty taste in my mouth and turns me off on continuing to come here. This is my favorite bar in Omaha. Cigars, Bourbon, and leather sofas. It's a man's wet dream. I've been coming here for years and I think the best aspect of Copacabana is the service. The bartenders are always quick and helpful with drink choices, the cigar attendant is remarkable with his suggestions, and the waitresses are on the spot with anything you need. The humidor is well stocked for a low key cigar enthusiast however a true aficionado may only find a few cigars up to their standard. My suggestion is to stick with Padron cigars. They're pricey but the best quality smoke I've ever had. I would suggest coming here on the weekends only if you can arrive before 9pm. It can get busy real quick and leave you scrambling to find a seat. This place is basically a men's club so if you're looking for company you should go somewhere else. read more

There was live music and when we arrived a little before 10pm the entire venue was nearly full. My all time favorite bar. Great drinks, great service and great music. If you don't care to smoke a cigar, no problem. I don't smoke and you can't tell anyone else is when you're there. My wife loves Thursday night ladies nights so she can enter to win the Christian Louboutin heels or the Louis Vuitton purse, whichever one the owner has put up on the top shelf for the drawing at that time. Copa also has such a wide variety of alcohol, anything inexpensive you may like all the way up to Pappy Van Winkle and King Louis Cognac. I like Havanna Garage and Jake's cigar bar a lot and they have their place with me, but Copacabana is different than either of those places. Higher class, upscale, but reasonable prices for drinks and cigars.
