There's a comfortable lounge and a well-stocked humidor. The employees there have always been helpful when asked for recommendations.

This is a great place, but his selection changes way too much. As soon as you find a cigar you like, it goes away.

Attached to the bar is a small but intimate music space where they have frequent $10 shows from a variety of smaller artists-local and beyond. This is your basic bar with cran vodkas and PBR, but they also pride themselves on a cool craft beer (many taps!) and cocktail menu too. The last drink I had there, a Oolong tea cocktail, was excellent. Unpretentious, casual, and versatile. Loud to sit in the bar area if you're just having a drink and not attending the concert in the next room over, BUT not every night is a show night. Lounge that fills a lot of shoes. Drinks for the crafties and the basic b's in your life, music for everyone, and you can feel comfortable dressed to impress or in ripped jeans and converses.

I was also turned on to a fantastic local act - Mr. E and The Stringless Kite. The Reverb Lounge I so tiny and intimate that it's like sitting in a friends basement with first class sound and lighting. There are only 3 tables and seating for 12, when the show started there were 31 people and it felt like we were all friends. The bar is outside the performance room, so the noise of a rowdy bar does not effect the show. The bar itself is simple and stylish with rock paraphernalia, exposed brick and wood and a great bartender the night I was there. Reverb, you are in my top 5 for concert venues! Well Done!

Well I was embarrassingly surprised at the quality of bourbons that they had behind the counter. Let's face it, If you're looking for anything Buffaloe Trace, or Heaven Hill etc... They have it! You may ask then why the low rating score?... Well, If you're into paying 200% and upwards over msrp for a bottle of liquor, then this is the place for you. I am not sure how this place survives with competing grocers and other well established sprit shops within 15-20 minutes of each other that carry the same brands. In some instances you may have to enter a raffle for the Wellers, Pappy's etc. But you would never pay 200% over msrp, which let's be honest - this is probably the worst price gouging in the state! Before someone states "that's business 101" I understand that they are in business to make a buck! But charging over $300 for a $35-50 bottle of bourbon? This is some type of slum-lord ownership that I personally would not mind seeing close its doors - which probaby will not happen bc everyone needs their hooch!

So many one-of-a-kind things here. The most beautiful ones are made here by John, the luthier/owner. He's happy to talk to you about instruments and to show you around his shop and the rest of the building - part of it is a vintage theater, the kind that used to be found in all parts of Omaha. Fascinating! Not long ago I stopped in to look at guitars. Mind you, I don't actually PLAY guitar, but I have gotten to a somewhat competent level at ukulele and baritone ukulele, and therefore I am craving the novelty of something new, that I can be bad at. I mentioned this to the woman working there, and she said "well, why don't you just take a class with John and he can teach you to build one"? Wow, this woman GETS ME. A total level up from what I was considering doing. I'm still thinking about doing this. But on this visit, I was just here to get a string, as moments earlier I had purchased a uke at a thrift store and it had a broken string. John had his assistant put on the string. He offered to show me how to put on the string, but since I already know (but just didn't have a string) I looked around the store and stroked a lovely cat on the counter. Which she enjoyed until she abruptly didn't, we know how cats are. Anyway, John wouldn't accept any money for the string or for the putting-on of the string. That was nice. Great place!
