Small space; solid venue!! This place has great acoustics, great acts, great beer selection, great staff . . . Yeah it's great. As a pro tip, check Reverb's schedule frequently, cross reference with Spotify and decide whether to attend. Some of these acts are up and coming and the ticket prices are almost always quite inexpensive. An excellent selection of beverages including local beers and your el cheapo ones (Busch Light, Lite, etc). Reasonable prices on the beer and cocktails. Went to a concert, with friends I havnt seen in months. as we where chatting we got told by the staff, to be quiet. at a concert, at a bar. Cool Benson establishment which carries more "lived in/grunge" Benson vibes rather than "brand spanking new trendy spot". Attached to the bar is a small but intimate music space where they have frequent $10 shows from a variety of smaller artists-local and beyond. This is your basic bar with cran vodkas and PBR, but they also pride themselves on a cool craft beer (many taps!) and cocktail menu too. The last drink I had there, a Oolong tea cocktail, was excellent. Unpretentious, casual, and versatile. Loud to sit in the bar area if you're just having a drink and not attending the concert in the next room over, BUT not every night is a show night. Lounge that fills a lot of shoes. I came to Omaha specifically to see The Way Down Wanderers in concert at the Reverb since they were skipping KC this tour. What I hoped to be a great experience was magical. I was also turned on to a fantastic local act - Mr. E and The Stringless Kite. The Reverb Lounge I so tiny and intimate that it's like sitting in a friends basement with first class sound and lighting. There are only 3 tables and seating for 12, when the show started there were 31 people and it felt like we were all friends. The bar is outside the performance room, so the noise of a rowdy bar does not effect the show. The bar itself is simple and stylish with rock paraphernalia, exposed brick and wood and a great bartender the night I was there. Reverb, you are in my top 5 for concert venues! Well Done! read more

I've seen this place have major glow ups! Since the remodel of the place, they have knocked down the pointless wall that used to separate the bar area from the main stage! Looks 1000X better and more open! Staff is always awesome and accommodating! They get some great talent that comes though Omaha! Drinks are fairly priced and the bartenders are always cool! Parking can be difficult sometimes to find, but that's kindve the Benson areas flaw. The venue itself is in a old building and has a great ambiance inside that matches the old school Benson area! read more

I really liked this place. I went there for the first time last night. The bar is great very clean and the bartenders are pretty attentive. I wish there was even more seating and not so crowded by the main stage area but I understand the place has its limits. Also wish there was more bathroom stalls. All in all though I enjoyed my visit there the groups I heard were excellent. read more

There's a lot to love about Reverb Lounge, with it's shiny, new interior and dark and cozy vibe. There're over 20 beers on tap and a top notch selection of signature cocktails. Plenty of fine spirits to sip on as well. There's even a separate room for live music, but no cover is required if you'd prefer to just hang out at the bar. Speaking of music, Reverb Lounge very much acts like an extension of The Waiting Room, which is right around the corner. The two venues share an owner (One Percent Productions) and are even connected in the back. Reverb is perfect for concerts that'll bring out a few dozen people but are too small for a bigger venue like The Waiting Room. There are other smaller venues nearby as well, but none with the booking connections of One Percent Productions. So you expect to see some stellar shows here if you're into the concern scene. Back to the lounge itself. Reverb has a loose rock and roll theme (naturally). Stroll around and look at the vintage guitars hanging on the walls. Several of the taps even run through a retrofitted Fender amp. It's the type of place you can bet your ass the bartender will be playing great tunes in house. It's also the type of place you can duck in to, relax and avoid the madness of Benson at night. Unless there's a show. Then, well, grab a drink and enjoy the music. read more

I went there with a group of people for my husband's birthday. We all were bar crawling in Benson that night and ended up at this bar. The bartenders were very nice to all of us despite of our drunkenness. We were all happy people enjoying the time and they never ruined our night. The only one negative thing was that there wasn't much of alcohol in the special drink one of my friends got for my husband. It was a drink that costs 27$+ with a banana cut and made it look like a dolphin. The dolphin and flowers in the drink were cute and wonderful, but my husband and our friends said they wished they had had more alcohol in it so they wouldn't have had to get shots after that. read more

Let me preface this review by stating that this intimate venue was amazing I regards to the music and the show my friends and I attended last night. However, the bartender (Brandon?) was exceptually rude and down right MEAN to me. He was washing glasses behind the bar as I ordered a lemon drop shooter with Tito's and his response was "I don't use tito's for lemon drops". He used his bottom shelf lemon flavored vodka and served it to me without chilling it. It was terrible. An hour later I asked for just a plain chilled Tito drink and he snapped! He said "whats up with you and the f****g chilled Tito's? I have other people I could be serving and I don't have time for this s**t"! I was so dumbfounded and flabbergasted I couldn't speak so I just stood there feeling embarrassed. I told him I would leave him a tip for chilling my drink and he yelled "I don't care about your tip"! He continued to wash glasses behind the bar. No one was ordering drinks at the time so I was so confused. I went to the only other bartender and asked him for a drink and he made it for me and was very pleasant. I am in my mid 40's and go out maybe twice a year and This is my first yelp review I've ever posted which goes to show how much the customer service of this guy affected me. Maybe he is going through something personal in his life and I happened to be the person he decided to unleash on. Last night, I saw Parker Millsap with my brother and bro-in-law. It was my first time at the Reverb. There is a nice bar in front, serving plenty of fairly priced beers. The back room is a small venue with good acoustics. We will definitely return. read more

We came to see the head of femur show last weekend. They have a great set up-cozy red circular couches in the bar area and a separate room for the stage. This is nice so you can just stop in for a cocktail if you aren't coming to see the show. I also loved the framed steel guitars along the walls. They have several beers on tap, but do not do pitchers. Great selection of boulevard and prices are reasonable. They only charge a $1 for soda (we were with my husbands' mother who does not drink as well as his son) so that is awesome. Many places try to gauge you just for a soda, and I think that is awful considering many times that person drinking soda is likely your dd. The stage room was very nice, and good sized for the crowd that was there that night. It was pretty well ventilated. We didn't start getting hot until towards the end of the show. If I went out in benson more often, I'd definitely hit up the reverb again for a couple drinks and the fancy ambiance. I didn't try a speciality cocktail, but will note they do have the fun pineapple drinks (like you would get in Hawaii) on the menu. read more

First time in this place, and I was impressed. The staff was very friendly. It is a pretty small space, but they do have a small venue for live music, which looks like it could be super intimate and cool to see a live performance, or a straight up claustrophobic, probably depending on who is playing. The main seating area is pretty cool, with a nice bar and vintage looking seating along with a lot of exposed brick. Their drinks have a 'Tiki' theme, but other than that, I didn't pick up a lot of Tiki anywhere else. We all tried out their signature cocktails, and I will say they were strong...and good! Great place for small live music events. You enter the music venue through a separate door from the bar area which is nice for small events, no background sound from bar you can get at some small places. its a older building remodeled in a sort of modern way and very well done. We went to The white Buffalo and the sound was amazing, which is a credit to both the musician and also the space. Acoustically the room was excellent. A few items they need to work out, the ticket taker is inside the room, not sure why he has to be inside the room. Some of the noise in the background from people coming late and buy tickets was annoying seemed to even bother the muscian. Also, their ability to serve drinks when the place was full was bad, they need more people when there are live music events. Small items which are easy to fix, we will go back for sure. read more

This place is great! I came here during beer week for a great event they had going on. The bartender working was really cool and they had some awesome beers on tap. It's kind of an old retro feel with big comfy chairs and comfy bar stools. You can tell it's music oriented with the decor on the walls. The bar is pretty good, situated right as you walk in, has room for quite a few people. I really liked the fact they had so many beers on tap and so many unique beers. It's kind of a small place that you wouldn't expect it. Overall, I'd love to come here again, it's in a great location and has a lot of potential. My first impression of this place was that it was clean. Even the bathroom! I like the set up of the place, bar is separate from the entertainment so you can step out of the music if you need a break. I had a delicious pineapple drink (painkiller, I think was the name). I arrived a little early for the 9pm show I wanted see and the bar wasn't crowded yet. Had a club soda and sat in one of their cozy little booths with my spouse. When the show finally started at 9:30pm, sadly only four people attended and the tickets were only $10. Perhaps the show wasn't promoted well or this little known singer doesn't have much of a fan base in Omaha. The bar area was more crowded a little later in the evening but those people missed a great performance. The separate music venue was small with a stage and the acoustics are great. The person I saw sang with only a keyboard and acoustic guitar for accompaniment but I could see it being a bit loud with a full band. I like the small venue and would see another act I enjoy here again. Parking was dicey but I imagine it's always like that on a Friday night in Benson. read more

I mean, the place is cool. Service is ok. But the drinks are about the most overpriced I have seen in a long time. It's kind of shitty when you pay to see a show and get gouged on the drink prices. Feels a bit exploitative of your patrons. I saw Cash'd Out (superb Johnny Cash tribute band - go see them!) there, then again the next week at Zoo Bar in Lincoln. I paid the same amount for 1 (tiny) Captain & Coke at Reverb that I did for a whole round of drinks at Zoo Bar. I definitely won't be back unless a band is playing that I absolutely must see. read more

Reverb is a great venue for small bands and gathering with friends... The best thing about it is a mix of the boothsand lower atmosphere in a separate room from the band venue and then the loud dance floor inside so whatever you want to do you could have both in one evening. read more

Well, I am not sure what happened this night I went but I had to wait an exceptional amount of time to order a drink. I know that isn't helpful and something else could have been going on but I think they need a little bit more organization or prep or perhaps another person behind the bar. The atmosphere seems darling and the band venue is almost hidden like you have to know whats going on to be in on the mix. I will go back again but hopefully with a faster bar service. read more

My husband played a gig here a couple weeks ago, it was a really unique venue. The stage was in a small area that was closed off. There was plenty of standing room for small crowds. Good sound, nice room that looked like it was created by people passionate about live music. Outside that, there was a bar with seating at the bar, booths, etc... so you could hear music from out there, but not see it. The cover was for going in to where the stage was. The bar had reasonably priced drinks and for being small, had lots of good beers on tap, plus quite a few other drinks including a menu of fruity mixed drinks. I'd love to see other bands here, it was different than other venues because of the closed off space by the stage but it was apparent it was created for people who are there to listen to the music and not the table next to them. read more

I grew up in Benson. I come back to the area a couple times a year and this was my first experience at Reverb Lounge. I enter the bar around 10pm on a Sunday night, there is a decent crowd. I don't get acknowledged at all and I sit at the bar. It took atleast 15 minutes for the bartender to approach me. When he does, I hear "What do you want"? I really wanted to give this place a shot so I ordered a drink. It was a little more than drinks I've ordered at neighboring joints but whatever. They had music playing in another room, nothing amazing seemed like a cover band. I didn't bother paying to check it out. Once I got the bartenders attention again I ordered one more drink. It did seem like it was short staffed but still not getting greeted is a huge turn off. Not impressed, I'd rather go to the other bars around the corner to get served quicker. read more

Went there earlier today (10/15) to watch the Husker game and have a drink...walked in at 2:30pm and there was no other guests inside. Asked if they were open and bartender (white guy with beard) said that they were. I sat down and ordered a drink. After ordering I was told that my drink costs $5 and was approached for payment, I complied and paid with cash. After sitting there for about 15 min. a White family of 3 walked in and asked about the game, they were greeted and told that free snacks were also available (something that had not been told to me). During the game I ordered my 2nd drink and again was immediately asked to pay $5. Both me and the White family of 3 stayed until halftime of the game. Prior to leaving I noticed that the White family of 3 asked for their total to which the same bartender provided them with their total and then took their credit card....Curious as to why I was not able to run a tab, secondly, why not tell me about the free snacks that were available???
