Waffle. Blueberry/ raspberry compote and whipped cream. It's so good.
Kate P.

Had brunch here. So good. Had the egg sandwich, full English breakfast and waffle between my husband and myself. All of it was top notch. Good combination of flavors around traditional offerings make their food better than a standard breakfast place. The waffle comes with a delicious blueberry / raspberry compote and homemade whipped cream. It tasted look like a pastry. I cannot say enough good things here. The manager was very helpful and friendly. It's been decades since I've been here and this is NOT the same dive bar. It's so much better now!!

Two piece fish and chips

What a great restaurant! I crave their fish and chips all of the time. So light and crispy! The breading is just right. Not too thick but, you can still tell it is there. The tartar sauce and chops are also very good. I love that they also have the "right" kind of vinegar to douse it in. I went during October when they were decorated for Halloween and had a Harry Potter theme as well. Very nice ambiance and service. Only took off a star for price. The food is great but, I wish the entrees were $3-5 cheaper. If so, I would be here weekly instead of on a more special occasion.

After a quick flight to Omaha, the girls and I ventured out for a bite to eat. Dundee Dell was the place of choice and a good one at that!! ++ The neighborhood is beyond cute, brightly colored and welcoming! So quaint and cute! ++ The unassuming little exterior opens up to a spacious interior - featuring a beautifully restored bar, cozy booths and the perfect color palette! ++ Service is on point - to which our server, Ashley, was amazingly attentive for having the entire dining room to tend to, friendly, made great recommendations and ensured our waters/iced tea were refilled! Thank you! ++ Known for their Fish and Chips and a variety of British eats - the food is fantastic! Being that Mom and I had noshed on a loaded breakfast sandwich preflight, we opted to split a loaded shrimp salad. It was AMAZING - with the best dressing! Perfectly crunchy, tasty and light! YUM! When back in this little quaint part of Omaha, I'll be back to sample one of their signature cocktails! :)

World Famous Fish and Chips

We stopped into Dundee Dell a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed my visit. While the whisky bar was closed for a private event, the drinks were still quite good and the fish and chips were delicious. Service was prompt and the waiters were very kind. I definitely plan to come back soon!

Reuben- mid

I really wanted to like this place and was most intrigued by their Reuben they say has been around for ages. Unfortunately, besides the really cute interior and vibe, we didn't have a good time. We were the only 2 in the restaurant and it took nearly 30 minutes to get our two meals. The Reuben was good for a sandwich, but I can't say it was a great Reuben. My crab cake had crab shell in it! I wasn't sure when I first crunched on it, but then I pulled out a whole chunk which I posted a picture of. Pricey for no reason.

$21 shrimp Caesar salad

Came to Dundee Dell yesterday for lunch. Service was good and quick. Had a shrimp Caesar salad. While it was good it still pretty basic. $21 for a basic salad is pretty insane. I mean if you order fish n chips you can get 3 pieces of fish for $19. They need to reevaluate their menu prices. Like I said food was good though.

Located in a super nice little neighborhood, plenty of parking in the street. Nice roomy place with lots of table and booth seating. Heard a lot of reviews on the Fish N Chips, being from England we had to give em a try. Nice surprise they have Harp Larger and Guinness on draft. Ordered Calamari for starter and was pleasantly surprised, good flavor nice and crispy batter with a fantastic dipping sauce. The fried cod was excellent, very fresh and flaky with a light airy beer batter. Chips were ok, not hand cut, nothing close to a real chip shop chip, curry sauce wasn't very good and they also serve the curry sauce at room temp which was very weird. Overall nice little spot.

The king is Crispy Chicken Sandos!

Popped in for a bite to eat on a Saturday afternoon. Working in Omaha for a couple months, found a place in Dundee, the Dell was highly recommended. Ashley, an outstanding barkeep, suggested the Crispy Chicken Sando, said it's the biggest chicken sando in the city. Challenge accepted. The monster came out and it was spectacular! Massive, lightly breaded, chicken patty. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and crispy pickles. At first glance, I was a bit intimidated. But a slow and steady pace, with a properly poured Guinness, the colossal beast was defeated. Do your self a favor and take the Pepsi challenge with the best chicken sando in the city @ Dundee Dell! Five stars!!!

Fried Pickles

I love the Dundee Dell and have tried several items which are all fresh and well balanced! My favorites are the curry and the fish and chips. The grilled cheese unfortunately was not my favorite as I felt it could easily have 2-3 time the amount of cheese to be more flavorful and less dry. The bread was crispy which I loved, but there just wasn't enough cheese although the flavor was great. Fried pickles were amazing even though I don't normally like them! I had the seasonal cranberry hot toddy which was also an incredible drink and something I don't normally go for. Overall it's always a great experience--great vibe. Fish and chips with the homemade tartar sauce is a must have!!

Chicken Fried Chicken

I truly wish this were in my restaurant rotation more often! Foolishly, it escapes my thoughts when I think of places to eat. Despite the beautiful and sophisticated renovation, it still offers the best simple fish and chips you can get in Omaha. The chicken fried chicken was MASSIVE! Enough for 2 and more the crab cakes were good, probably not better or worse than you can get in any seafood restaurant. The star of the show is always the fish and chips. Pair them with a lovey Guinness or one of their many, many scotch or bourbon selections and you have a perfect pair.

The gin martinis were deliciously briney. We tried the hot tots to share and they were a great additional to the table but very rich. The pizza was cheesy and so worth it. There weren't many people staffed but our server was on top of it! She made sure to keep our drinks filled and was great at checking our tables and all the other tables there. We weren't able to see the rooftop patio due to weather, but I can't wait to come back and check it out.

They ordered until about 6:45. The other half of our group joined. About 630, and we're not able to order for about half an hour. We finally got our food order in (before receiving about half the drinks) about an hour or more into our visit. The food itself didn't take too long, but our server did not do a good job, taking care of us. It was busy in the restaurant, but the service was still worse than expected. Luckily, one of our members happen to know a server on staff, and texted him to ask for help with our order. He came over and apologized, took our drink order, and flagged our server down for us. Finally, she showed up to take our order and the visit was fine from there. The food itself was good, we loved the meat lovers pizza, but no one liked the flavor of the white garlic pizza. The crab Rangoon appetizer was definitely a favorite, and we also loved the whipped ricotta appetizer. The drinks were a hit, in including the nonalcoholic, Yuzu lemonade, which I enjoyed. We went up to the rooftop for a picture, this was before 9 PM so they were not busy with the late night party going on. The bouncer graciously took a few pictures for us, but unfortunately, it was a chilly night, and there are no heaters up there, so we went in and out as quickly as possible. We heard that they were passing out free shots on the rooftop, but we're not offered any by the bartender who offered to take our order. Overall, I was not impressed up with the quality of the food or drink drinks to come back after having such a negative experience with the service. I hope that our visit was an anomaly, but I would not drive out of my way for this place again.

Something I really liked is that they let you bring food from other places since they don't serve any, which is perfect if you want to hang out for a while. Their drink menu is huge, and the presentation is honestly amazing. When we first got there it was slow, but it definitely got busier as the night went on. We did struggle a bit when it was time to check out because all the servers were running around, so just be ready for that on a busy night. Overall, we had a great time. The drinks were really good, the vibe was great, and I'd definitely go back.

The seating was a bit of a challenge as we had to seat ourselves and we had a decently large group, so we had to wander around for a bit trying to find a spot, but we eventually did.
