Decided to give this place a try to see what the arcade room is all about. The place was clean and spacious, and my kid did have fun, but compared to Dave and Buster's, this place is just not worth it. You can find most of these games at Dave and Busters. The way their point system for games is set up is weird. Let's say a game is 1.5 points--that means they are taking $1.50 from your game card. Many games were 1.5 points, but there were quite a few that went up to 4. So paying $4 to play one game is outrageous and a rip-off, to say the least. At Dave and Buster's, they have a much better system, and your dollar goes a long way compared to this place. Also, some of the claw machines weren't working properly. People would win a toy, but the door wouldn't open to retrieve it. The staff was walking around, and I let them know. They said they were going to get someone, and we waited for maybe 10 minutes, but nobody showed up. I then decided to go find someone working at the shop, and she helped right away. We had a team event here the other day and I had such a great time I forgot to take any pictures! We played a 2 rounds of bowling, ate some food, 2 rounds of laser tag, then hit the arcade section. Laser tag was the highlight of the day! Our whole team can't stop talking about how fun it was and wanting to make it an annual event. I didn't know I could have this much fun as an adult . The food was okay. Pizza was pretty below par. The mozerella sticks definitely made up for it so make sure to order those if you're eating! I did not enjoy this place at all. I was entertaining a friend from out of town and we were having a hard time finding things to do with it being the holidays. So when we stumbled on this place we thought oh great let's go bowling. Since it was Tuesday it was 50% off bowling and it's misleading how it says that. 50% off all day bowling. And when you go to check in it's like 1 hour for two people the price drops down to something like $18.95 + $5.95 for each shoe rental. Which I know it's been awhile since I've been bowling but that seemed awfully high priced. We went to look and see if there were any open lanes and one line was open so we went to check in. I'm not going to lie I told my friend I didn't want to stay and do it that I thought that was way too much, but we put our name in cuz they said it'd be about 45 minutes which it was and then as a side note I was irritated to see that the lane we were assigned was the one that we saw was empty when we checked it out. We played games to fill our time which one I reflect on this whole experience I kind of wonder if that wasn't just a play to get people to spend more money there. It's very confusing on ordering and getting drinks and it's also really frustrating because if I had to realized that you needed to go to the bar to get drinks, I would have definitely had my drink before our hour began. The shoes didn't fit right which is frustrating when you figure you're paying essentially $6 to rent them for an hour! They also didn't connect right on the floor it felt like they kept stopping my movement there was something that didn't work with the floor in the shoes - I honestly kept feeling like I was going to hurt myself if I tried to bowl like I know how to walk up and throw a ball. I know part of that is me and it's been a few years since I've been bowling but I do know how to approach the alley and throw a ball but I did not feel safe. The balls are frustrating too there's no real variety of holes or sizes - all of the 12 lb bowls have the same size finger holes. This was true for all the balls which I'm sure makes it easier for them financially to bulk buy, just makes it less the user friendly. read more

Nice new bowling alley in legacy area. Liked the vibe and the new seats and balls. They were very understaffed on the Monday night we visited. 90 minute wait to bowl, and then ordering food was slow. This is a horrible bowling alley. It's nearly impossible to knock down a pin. There is no oil on the lane. Pin are so light they can't knock down other pins. they make you wait for over an hour just to bowl. Food so bad my dog won't eat it. Every game in the arcade is rigged. Oh, so much Fun. It's been a long time since I've been to an arcade. We decided to come here and have some fun with my son and a couple of good friends. All the games and arcades looked were so fun. I liked throwing axes, monopoly and the dance games. We also played laser tag which I had never done before. My hubby and I liked it so much that invited a few couples and are going out for a date night. This place is pretty cool and there's lots to do. We still have to try food, bowling and escape rooms. This was my first time coming and a great experience! It was with my company who had a private party--it seemed like we were in a closed off bar area, and able to roam the whole venue, with others outside of the company also able to come in as well. There are so many different things to do--we bowled a few rounds, and played plenty of arcade games. There is also laser tag and escape rooms available. The bowling was great--our balls got stuck a couple times and they were very quick to fix this. Arcades were great as well--plenty of variety, and not too crowded. We were given $25 cards and between the 2 of us walked out with 2400 points--a few medium sized prizes and lots of small candies. The buffet food was great for a group like ours! Plenty of options, and kept pretty warm. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Overall a great venue and experience!! I would definitely come back! read more

Wow! What a fun time. Great deals. I love the different specials they have on different days of the week. We can always find a way to have a great time at Spare Time. We have quite the age range in our family of six (Ages 6, 12, 13, 15, 37 and 46!!) and we all have a blast every time! We spent our evening on 09/30/2025 to do a little impromptu birthday celebration for our 6-year-old and it was such a pleasant surprise. I didn't catch the name of the gentleman working but he was really running things. He was helping in every department and just taking the lead and helping all the staff and customers. His attitude and hospitality was refreshing and something you don't experience often. He seemed happy to help each person and called all of us "friends." Thank you for giving Omaha this amazing option with several family activities where we can all have an amazing time. ...And thank you for hiring people who make it a priority for the community to get the most out of their hard earned $. It costs a lot to get out these days and when you do, customer service usually fails and makes it not-so-fun for the kids celebrating. You all did wonderful and all of the arcade games worked PERFECTLY. First time that has every occurred somewhere! Laser tag was a hit. We will be back for more. This place isn't talked about enough! Since moving to Omaha we've been disappointed with indoor gaming/activity spaces for our preteen/teen. This place was AWESOME for the whole family! The atmosphere is great and has something for the whole family. We did laser tag, 30 minute escape room, chilled at the bar, ate some food, and played games. Went with the family here a couple of times now. A business like this needs a couple separate reviews. I have yet to go bowling here so I can't review that part. The place is very clean and laid out really well. The game area is really nice overall, but the prices are pretty steep and the payout for tickets is laughable at best. We took advantage of the $100 game card for $50 and actually bought 4 of them. The kids had a blast playing games and winning tickets doing various things. When it was all said and done we had about 4,500 tickets.....that got you about a $8 retail toy in the little shop. For what was $400 worth of gameplay (granted not all games that paid out tickets) this was a let down. The kids didn't care but they didn't just spend $200 either. Without the 1/2 price offer (and even with it) it was overpriced in my opinion. The restaurant looks really nice. The lighting was nice, everything was clean, and the decor was really inviting. There is a couple fire places that set the mood too. The kids menu did not disappoint, the 4 kids all liked their food. The adults all said they didn't like or dislike their meals. I would eat there again if we went but I'm not going out of my way to go. I thought the prices were reasonable. Overall we probably won't return any time soon unless we have the itch to go bowling and try that out. read more

Wanted a fun winter night out and this place was a great pick! We grabbed appetizers at the restaurant inside, the cowboy tots and potstickers were so good. Not that great of an experience unfortunately. Folks really hyped this place up. We were greeted nicely and the reservation was honored and that was fine but what we didn't know is that we would be sharing so much of our space with strangers. When we arrived they were all sprawled out (the party on the other lane. We were on 4 they on 3) and they moved but still had their stuff on the back seating area. It was a big family so they had a lot of balls which isn't bad on them it's just that the way they designed the seating area it is very tight. I've never been to an alley where you're sharing so much space. So if you're gonna go get two lanes otherwise you won't really even be able to talk to your company. We had 6 in our party bowling and couldn't really talk amongst each other as a whole group because the seating is in a line and it curves toward the lane. The food. It wasn't bad good fries and wings I had no complaints. The cocktail was too sugary tho. Also it wasn't really explained how to order initially so we went to the bar to order drinks and they told us they were closing and we had to wait for a waitress. It was only 7:00 so that was surprising to hear. Another two members of our party actually got up themselves to find drinks because the waitress still hadn't come to our lane and apparently a different bar was open and they were able to get drinks. The lanes were also very slim and the floor seemed bumpy too. I feel like as a package this place is probably fine if you're bringing your kids to do laser tag and play the other games but if you want to just bowl you'll probably be disappointed like we were. read more

For food, they have a sit down restaurant and an in-house pizzeria. Serval bars throughout will keep your drinks filled to the top. For your corporate/big events, they have a private "elite" space with private bowling lanes and its own bar. I did not have a chance to try the food during this visit, but the arcade and laser tag are super fun! For those who just want to play games without ticket redemption, they have a 1 hour pay-to-play card option which is a really good deal. Went to spare time on a Saturday night all the bowling lanes were booked up so we didn't get to bowl this day. we visited the bar before heading over to the arcade side of the floor I ordered a margarita, chips & queso and personally I wouldn't recommend the food there or the drinks. Next time I will definitely skip the bar area. I went on Saturday after 10PM so I was able to experience spare time after dark event in which good music was played and a light show. This place is a good date night spot or even a good spot to hang out with friends. I had so much fun playing the games and I like the fact that the game prices were between $1-$2 which is reasonable. Because I didn't get to bowl ,experience the escape room or do laser tag I definitely going back. The employees were pretty busy but they were helpful and was working to move the line as fast as they could. First time coming here. We were the first group there. Ordered 3 appetizers and 4 drinks. Other groups came in and group next to us got their food immediately (a whole pizza) before ours. We waited an hour then the server came over and asked if we got our food yet with clearly nothing infront of us. Was too busy bowling with the group next to us (on the clock) to refill our drinks. Minutes later we asked about it to her again. 20 minutes went by and told the manager to cancel it. Still proceeded to charge us for drinks. Manager never once came over to talk to us or anything. Hosted my daughter's 8th birthday here today. Did the bowling/laser tag/arcade option. Everything about the facility was top notch (new always helps of course). We had pizza and it was really good. Nothing to complain about. If you're looking for too of the line pizza probably not the best spot for ya, but it's better than a solid handful of pizza places. Best part of the birthday package that I didn't realized when I booked? The party host. They were so helpful. Every kid party we've had in the past has meant us as parents running around and not being able to enjoy our kids birthday. Our host helped get the kids drinks, serve pizza, set up the bowling, keep us on track and even helped us tie some shoes as we prepared to move on to laser tag. We felt like we were on an episode of Punked. It will be a night we won't forget. When we checked in we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. After 45 minutes we asked if we could sit at an empty table. We were told they would send over a server. 20 minutes later we had to go ask again for a server who then took our order. Every item ordered came out of the kitchen when it was cooked rather than all the food coming to the table at the same time. 5 of the 8 people in our party hadn't received food. After an hour of waiting I went to the bar to order additional drinks as we had not seen our server in a while. While ordering the drinks, the bartenders were talking about how they were out of dough and there wouldn't be anymore pizza orders tonight. We had ordered 2 pizzas and a flatbread that hadn't showed up yet. 20 minutes later the manager comes to our table and informs us that we would not be getting our pizzas so we would need to order something else. While we were waiting for our newly ordered food we watched them continue to make flatbread and pizzas. One of which was given to an employee to eat at the table next to us because they "made an extra pepperoni flatbread". After almost 3 hours and moving our laser tag appointment back 3 times because of delays we finally got out of the restaurant. read more
