Papio bowl is just a class for the Omaha area. It's really a great place for families/friends/coworkers to bowl! I've been going here since I could first bowl and will continue to go. Love that Papio bowl is part of the kids bowl free program! It's a great place to spend the afternoon and get the kids out of the house. They offer a selection of food and drinks for lunch or dinner, have a small arcade area and of course bowling! The staff is great also! They helped the kids find balls of the appropriate weight, set up bumpers if needed and got my daughter a bowling ramp. We will definitely be spending more afternoons here this summer! read more

Went here with the family, and this bowling alley is so cute and fun! The lights and 2000s throwback playlist were awesome! We went on a packed Saturday night but luckily we had a reservation, definitely book ahead there were walk-ins that were turned away. The food is standard bar food, but my chicken strips and fries weren't bad. The staff was super friendly despite how busy it was, and there's even an arcade for kids and plenty of seating for groups. We will definitely be coming back for another fun family night out! read more

Papio Bowl ran a NYE special from 7-9pm a group of four received their own lane and shoes with comic-type bowling. Check-in and shoe collection was quick and smooth. We grabbed drinks and played a couple games. The lanes and scoreboard worked great. Everything was clean with sanitizer stations all over. Music was at a good level with nice dance selection. At some point one of our drinks spilled and they quickly cleaned and replaced it. I thought this was a very nice gesture; they didn't spill it and could have easily offered nothing but they went the extra mile. We'd look forward to going back again for another family fun night. read more

My grandchildren and I love to bowl there. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. My grandson loves it so much that he decided he wanted his 8th birthday party there. Their party package includes Cosmic bowling, pizza, shoes, 2 pitcher of sodas, and a lane for up to 6 bowlers for $89.99. They have a good selection of adult beverages and draft beers. Really great, newer bowling alley. Clean, modern, reasonable prices. Lots of parking. If you're there during the afternoon and a kid is having a birthday party at the same time, you may even luck out and be treated to some cosmic bowling in broad daylight. As broad as the daylight ever gets in a bowling a alley, of course. They have a full bar, prices are not too bad, and the drinks are decently strong. Unfortunately none of these amenities helped my bowling game at all when I visited, my score was as atrocious as ever, but I can't fault Papio Bowl for that. Papio Bowl has been around for a long time and for good reason. It's an all-around nice bowling alley that's been recently updated, has decent food/drink and pleasant and responsive staff. I swung by to throw a few rocks at a fellow Yelper's birthday party. We had pizza, pop and beer. All pretty typical for bowling alley food, no frills and greasy. Just as it should be. The lights went low for cosmic bowling at around 8pm. The kids in the lane next to us had the gutter guards up. A few people were playing the arcade machines in the back. You can't really ask for much more from a bowling alley-a fun environment for all ages. If I didn't live 30 minutes away, this might become my go-to spot for bowling. It's a bit less rough-around the edges as some of the more old-school bowling alleys in town, but still has that classic feel. read more

They charge you for water even though you pay to be there which upset me. I want any management who charges for water to know that their decision is a direct loss of my business. Attended a birthday party at Papio Bowl. It was a very typical bowling alley experience- dim lighting, loud. The bowling alley itself is smaller than I thought on the inside and very kid oriented (as it should be!). They had a few tables reserved for us and pizza and beverages came out quickly. We had my daughter's birthday party here and it was great! The manager guy was an amazing host the whole time we were there along with running the bowling alley! What a great multitasker I would say. We had a two hour time slot. One hour for bowling and the other for eating lunch, cake and ice cream, and opening presents. You would think, two hours? That's it? Well, it was just enough. Bowling with a whole bunch of kids can get a little hectic, but with only one hour, it didn't get too crazy, but everyone was able to have fun. The party included bowling shoes, six pitchers of soda, and a bowling pin the guests could autograph as a souvenir. They gave us a pretty large table to use and the party room was really big. The pizzas for lunch were ten dollars for each and they were pretty large too. We were also able to bring in our own cake ice cream! The cost for the bowling party wasn't too bad I think for what they gave us. It was 49.99 per lane. It didn't matter how many people we had. In all, this place was great for a birthday party! Despite coming on a late Sunday night, Ken was really accommodating. I don't know what title he holds for Papio Bowling but he managed the operations as if he were the owner. He took care of our large family full of kids ranging from toddlers to teenagers. We rented 4 lanes and played for 2-3 hrs full of family fun. We ordered the basics - chicken nuggets, fries, onion rings, pizza, pitchers of beer and water. Ken was very professional in managing a very busy night. He was not flustered due to large groups running around. Ken managed to move us closer together while allowing other clients to have their time as well. Ken was really nice and gave me some pointers to improve my scores for next time :) service was impeccable and we have been coming to this bowling venue for all family outing. Had a birthday party here and it was horrible. They didn't let the kids finish their game when the 2 hours ran out, so our group of small children only got to bowl 1.5 games and were pretty upset. They also charged me $15 to "reserve" a table. I thought this might be waived when we showed up and the whole place was dead (so plenty of tables), but they didn't. I priced it out and it would have been more cost effective to just pay for all of the kids to play two games and rent their shoes myself. Then they would have actually gotten to play the second half of their second game. The pizza was gross so I spent a small fortune on fries and appetizers to feed the kids. A pitcher of soda was nearly $6 and filled 3 small cups so we had to buy 3 extra pitchers beyond what came with the party. I honestly just feel ripped off. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the facility is clean. We would bowl here again, but I definitely wouldn't have another birthday party with them. read more

It was my first time going here last night, but let me tell you that I think it's the best bowling alley I have been to in a while. Their staff was courteous and friendly. The drinks were cold and refreshing. The food looked good, from what I saw people were having, unfortunately, I didn't get any. The atmosphere and environment was also super chill and relaxing. When I first got there the music really wasn't my type of music, but as the night progressed it got better and better. The sound system was also very crisp and clear, and the lighting was perfect! Not like selfie lighting, but it wasn't too dark/too light like in other places. It is also tinier than other bowling alleys, but I actually prefer it that way instead of having more space than bowlers. We went there for cosmic bowl, and the price also seemed really fair, especially because it was unlimited bowling. I would definitely recommend this place first, now that I know about it, and would go there again! Oh, the only thing I didn't like is that they ask for your name up front and they enter it into the system. I don't know if you can change your name on the screen, but we just kept it how the employee entered it. But it's not really a big deal for me, just something I thought I should let you all know. read more

Went to Papio Bowl many, many times over the last 35 years and I must say, last weekend was the best of all time!!!!!!!! The owners have created a spotless bowling alley (no small task) and the facility is always in great shape. Always on site, the owners couldn't be friendlier or more inviting to everyone. Just had my son's 6th birthday party here. The price was great, we paid for two lanes. Included was two pizzas, four pitchers of pop and a bowling pin for the guests to sign. The place was clean and well staffed. Pizza was put on the table exactly when we asked them to, they provided plates, cups with lids and napkins. The pizza was ok for us but the kids enjoyed it. There was enough pop for everyone and plenty of extra plates and cups. The staff was quick to help us out and very thoughtful. (I had requested the end lane but the guy suggested and middle lane because there was a large table behind it, much better!) Overall the kids had fun and we would definitely consider and recommend this place for another party or to simply go bowling. read more
