Papio Bowl ran a NYE special from 7-9pm a group of four received their own lane and shoes with comic-type bowling. Check-in and shoe collection was quick and smooth. We grabbed drinks and played a couple games. The lanes and scoreboard worked great. Everything was clean with sanitizer stations all over. Music was at a good level with nice dance selection. At some point one of our drinks spilled and they quickly cleaned and replaced it. I thought this was a very nice gesture; they didn't spill it and could have easily offered nothing but they went the extra mile. We'd look forward to going back again for another family fun night.

My grandchildren and I love to bowl there. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. My grandson loves it so much that he decided he wanted his 8th birthday party there. Their party package includes Cosmic bowling, pizza, shoes, 2 pitcher of sodas, and a lane for up to 6 bowlers for $89.99. They have a good selection of adult beverages and draft beers. I just wish the food was better. But I'll still go there to bowl often whenever I visit again.

Really great, newer bowling alley. Clean, modern, reasonable prices. Lots of parking. If you're there during the afternoon and a kid is having a birthday party at the same time, you may even luck out and be treated to some cosmic bowling in broad daylight. As broad as the daylight ever gets in a bowling a alley, of course. They have a full bar, prices are not too bad, and the drinks are decently strong. Unfortunately none of these amenities helped my bowling game at all when I visited, my score was as atrocious as ever, but I can't fault Papio Bowl for that. I'll just have to come back more often and practice!

Papio Bowl has been around for a long time and for good reason. It's an all-around nice bowling alley that's been recently updated, has decent food/drink and pleasant and responsive staff. I swung by to throw a few rocks at a fellow Yelper's birthday party. We had pizza, pop and beer. All pretty typical for bowling alley food, no frills and greasy. Just as it should be. The lights went low for cosmic bowling at around 8pm. The kids in the lane next to us had the gutter guards up. A few people were playing the arcade machines in the back. You can't really ask for much more from a bowling alley-a fun environment for all ages. If I didn't live 30 minutes away, this might become my go-to spot for bowling. It's a bit less rough-around the edges as some of the more old-school bowling alleys in town, but still has that classic feel.

You can find most of these games at Dave and Busters. The way their point system for games is set up is weird. Let's say a game is 1.5 points--that means they are taking $1.50 from your game card. Many games were 1.5 points, but there were quite a few that went up to 4. So paying $4 to play one game is outrageous and a rip-off, to say the least. At Dave and Buster's, they have a much better system, and your dollar goes a long way compared to this place. Also, some of the claw machines weren't working properly. People would win a toy, but the door wouldn't open to retrieve it. The staff was walking around, and I let them know. They said they were going to get someone, and we waited for maybe 10 minutes, but nobody showed up. I then decided to go find someone working at the shop, and she helped right away. Maybe we will come back and try the bowling and food, but when it comes to the arcade unfortunately we won't be back for that.

At check-in, we were told most lanes were reserved, but some were open. My husband asked if we could reserve one--nope, online only. I circled back and simply asked for a lane. This time, they said yes. Lesson learned: don't say "reserve"--just ask to bowl! The lane was a bit dry, leading to some tragic gutter balls from my brother and nephew, but we powered through. Fuel was necessary, so we ordered the Signature Sampler and Lemon Pepper wings. The sampler came loaded with wings (we chose Garlic Parm), chicken tenders, mozzarella bites, Bavarian pretzels, and fries. No pictures--too many hands grabbing--but the chicken tenders were top-notch. Honey mustard was the dip of choice, and my nephew demolished the wings before I even got a shot. Pricey at $69, but worth it. My brother hit the bar for a beer pitcher, margarita, and water. Service was slow since the bartender was training/helping other staff. I respect mentorship, but thirsty bowlers need drinks. Eventually, we got everything--no major complaints. The four of us bowled five games over three hours for $115--way better than the two-hour limit for online bookings. Owning our shoes saved on rentals, and with snacks included, the total came to $185. By the time we wrapped up, the place was buzzing with weekend crowds. Bowlero has a lot going for it--I just wish my scores were as solid as the food!

The bartender staff was full, 3 of them for the maybe 10 lanes of bowlers. The took great care of us, and the food was delicious! We ordered two sampler platters for the kids and adults to snack on, and were quite impressed with the taste! One downfall we've noticed is their online system says they're completely full, but when we called in to see if a lane might be open they said they had tons of availability! Hopefully they get that sorted out, because it was so quiet in there for a Friday night! Glad we called, because we almost didn't go since it said they were busy!

The kitchen concept here seems to have undergone several iterations, and is currently Santiago's, a Mexican food spot. I used to live in Mexico and love Mexican food, but no one in our party was particularly impressed. The food was expensive ($9.95 for chips and guac - what!) and generally under seasoned. The rest of the space is still great, and they have an awesome list of different cocktails. Plenty of families there, every lane was booked when we arrived on a Saturday around 2 PM. We ended up waiting about half an hour to get two open lanes for our group. We had a good time, bowling, and didn't have any issues with the lanes. The bathrooms aren't very clean here, and overall the place does feel a little dirty (like any bowling alley). Customer service was good, and we didn't have to wait in line for anything while we were here. Overall, the only thing that should have about this place was that they have a small bar and food area, as well as a small hallway of arcade games. Other than that, it is a typical bowling alley that is likely packed most of the time.
