Easily 5 stars for the coolest indoor putt putt place I've ever been to! What makes this golfing experience different from others are the extremely active golf holes, along with fun themes and even twists! There are 4 different 9 hole routes to choose from. The two we experienced was so fun. I love how each hole also had a game for the people who are waiting their turn. Kids are free to join in on the fun before 6 PM, after that it's 21+ until closing. Not sure if this place serves food, but there's definitely a bar near the lockers and cashiers. Ambiance is loud and fun! I highly recommend this spot if you're into putt putt. The only negative thing I'll mention here is the parking. Since this location is in downtown Omaha, currently, there is construction and street parking. The first time we checked this place out it was actually a surprise! I had no idea this place existed or even knew what it was. When we walked inside we came up from the end starting at one of the courses and followed the slight incline to the desk. As I looked at the four courses I realized how creative and imaginative it really was. We listened intently to the employee who explained how everything worked and what we needed to do, we both started getting excited! Our first visit here we tried courses green and white, the second night we made it here we did the last two. We enjoyed all of the courses and the games we needed to play to see who would go first. The obstacles placed throughout the course were fun and unique. If you want to enjoy the courses with a little less people I highly recommend a weekday. We came for a visit on a Tuesday evening around 7pm and it was pretty sparse. I know we want to come back again and play and try their food. It's such a fun and cool vibe. Certainly a place to disconnect a little and reconnect with friends and family doing something fun together. OMG, this was soon fun. Parking wasn't an issue since we were staying up the street but there also appeared to be plenty of parking outside. After a certain time, it's adults only. The staff was super friendly and told us about the popular courses that people select. Each game is interactive which was cool (definitely not your typical mini golf course) with different challenges for you to complete. This was a cool date night for us. The bartender (didn't get their name) was engaging and helpful. We only intended on playing one course but by the time we finished, we were having so much fun that we paid for another course (which is discounted after the 1st game) and played right up until they closed. I can't tell you the amount of times I've been to this place and it truly never disappoints! I love bringing my family here for a fun (and competitive) family outing! There's a little something for everyone with each of the four colored courses. My boyfriend really enjoys this establishment and the large props in each hole. The decor is larger than life, in your face, funky, and so much more unique than that I've seen at other indoor putt putt places. My husband and I came home for the holidays and were thinking of a fun activity for New Year's with both of our families and some mild physical limitations. My husband knew there was a new mini golf course and we both enjoy mini golfing, so we planned to come here. They don't take reservations, so it was pretty easy to arrange. A total of 9 of us got here around 2. They are priced at $14/adult for a 9-hole course with four different courses, but were generous with a seniors discount and for my mom's birthday which happens to fall on NYE! We played on the red course and I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought it was just a creatively themed mini golf place, but it was actually a lot more than that. Each hole isn't particularly hard, but there's mini-games that aren't golf related associated with each one: things like foosball table, a ball pit, beer pong (without the beer), Tetris, etc. These games either give you an edge up for your hole or put you at a disadvantage. This was a very fun spin to your traditional game of mini-golf and we all had so much fun! They also have a bar and snacks - we didn't partake this time, but it looked good and would definitely try the next time. They also had lockers that were free to use, so we could stash our coats and bags while playing. Overall a really good time and now I want to know what kind of fun the other courses hold! read more

I'm not usually a fan of mini golf, but the Fat Putter has so many other elements other than the traditional putt-putt, and it made the whole experience very enjoyable. At first glance, I thought they were closed. A friend of mine wanted to celebrate his birthday party here, but the signs outside were confusing. On their front door, it says "21+ after 6pm". I assumed they didn't open until 6pm but Google says they open at 10ish. Upon further investigation, I learned that before 6pm is for people of any age, and after 6pm it is for adults over 21. The door just only mentioned the "21+ after 6pm". The birthday boy did get to play his games for free, and if you want to play more, each game subseqent is cheaper than the first. A fun way to team build, have some family time, or just for Laugh with friends. We went over to the Fat Putter the weekend after Thanksgiving, when everyone just wanted to get out and move a little after large meals! The venue is open at 10 AM most days and closed to anyone under 21 in the evenings. There is a full bar available but no food, however you can have food delivered on site. Located in the Capital District in downtown Omaha there is metered street parking and garage parking in the area area but it can get a little tight so plan accordingly. Secure lockers are available so you can store jackets and valuables while you're playing. There are four courses that are nine holes each. It is more than just your typical putt putt and includes a variety of games and activities to make each course interesting and unique. I have to admit that there was a bit of sticker shock at the price, particularly if you wanted to play a second game so check online for discounted times and rates. One game took our group of five about an hour and 15 minutes. We really enjoyed this activity and we'll go again. Was a bit surprised that some of the equipment was broken and had been for awhile based on staff feedback, and hopefully management will address to ensure the full experience. This is a cool place, fun option for a family or friend group activity. Especially when the weather is not great to be outdoors. There are a few different themed courses to choose from. Our 12 year old kids loved it! The course we chose had 3-4 features that were out of order, which was a bummer considering the cost. Also they do not time the entrance to the courses or space out the groups. We were a group of 4 and had a group of 2 behind us, so they were up on us the whole time. I came to Fat Putter for a team builder. It is located in downtown Omaha and you will probably have to pay for parking but thankfully it is not too expensive. It is in a great location and if you wanted to eat somewhere closer before or after golf that is definitely an option. The Fat Putter does have drinks and food though. Our group got flatbread. They offer pepperoni, Buffalo chicken, and cheese. Since I am on a pescatarian diet, cheese was my only option. The crust and sauce was pretty good but wish they had some more extravagant vegetarian options. They have a full bar and lots of drink options which made the experience even better. Now the golfing experience was fun and unique. They have free lockers to hold your stuff. They have plenty of areas to hold your drinks while you golf. And it's inside which is great so you can play in any weather. What makes it unique is they have 4 different golf courses to make your experience outside the ordinary. They have an Art course, we played the games course. It included a monopoly hole, connect 4, darts and more. It made the game even more fun. Fun concept to have in Omaha for family, dates, or friends. I have been two times, one on a weekend, and one during the week. Both totally different experiences. As you can imagine the one during the week was not busy at all, and was nice to play the courses at our own speed. Whereas the one on the weekend, was a much more lively environment, did involve a lot of waiting and feeling rushed at parts. The courses are very well designed. This does not have your "cringy almost creepy", mini golf feel to it. There is a lot of attention to detail and is very interactive. I was totally impressed with this place - what an amazing addition to downtown Omaha. I have heard the hype of this place, and it lived up to it. My group (5 adults) decided to buy two courses. Each hole pretty much has its own rules, whether it's "spin the wheel to add a twist", "connect 4", "live darts", they were all pretty much mini games that could help you determine where you would start the hole - either closer or farther to the goal. Our first game moved fairly good time wise, it was mostly adults in the area. The second round we played was a little slower due to bigger groups of kids but they were nice enough to let us move before them. Overall, I really enjoy this place! The place was super cool and a chance to get out of the oppressive heat. The games were fun and it wasn't your typical mini golf so it added a whole new element to the game. My problem was the music or the choice of music I will say there was one maybe two other couples in the place and no kids. The music was so foul and the choice was very off putting for me. So much so that I am leaving a review and maybe even writing the company. I did not say anything to anyone because well it was close to closing time and we were trying to finish our game. Personally I don't want to go back my child wants to and I am sure that this morning it would be a much more tame music selection but I don't know.
