Always a good time at junk stock--this was my first time at the fall one and it did not disappoint! Great place to come for a girls day and shop especially for unique items/gifts. I wish there was more of a variety of drink options, this was my only complaint. Overall a great time and plenty of food trucks to choose from too!

I had never been to Junkstock, but had been meaning to for a LONG time. My friend and I's schedules finally lined up for us to go. I was amazing walking in by all of the picturesque decor. So many pumpkins and decor related to a train station/travel theme. There were barns filled with local vendors as well as vendors from across the country! Tons of booths offering clothes, decorations, foods, collectibles, records, and so much more! I got a hand-knitted crotchet tank top from Ruby June (rubyju.ne on Instagram) that I am OBSESSED with. I have gotten so many compliments on it! I found a vintage Husker blanket that's reversible. Got some fresh squeezed lemonade. It was so nice to walk around and browse with my friend. So many unique things! Great place to find a special gift for someone or yourself! I did not get a chance to check out the food trucks, but I saw there were lots of options! I cannot wait to go again to Junkstock. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

Can't believe this was my first time at Junkstock! This is such a cool event and right up my alley with so much vintage and crafts. There are vendors selling in buildings and under tents. There's plenty of food options as well as live entertainment to enjoy. During my visit, I picked up unique finds, including a cute in Nebraska T-shirt, amazing earrings by Bling Co, and a gorgeous Japanese sewing box!

Don't let the 5+ year old reviews stray you. Junkstock has dramatically improved their event! This huge outdoor indoor festival at Sycamore Farms is definitely worth the $10 ticket price. The vignettes alone are with the price with many photo opps foe the 'gram. Just walking through the many barns and tents takes well over an hour. There are a dozen or so food trucks a s live music, even a beer and wine garden. So many opportunities to support local businesses and online shops that venture out twice a year to this festival. It was so much fun and there are so many unique and corky items to get as well as trendy clothes, beautiful art and handmade goods. It comes twice a year so mark your calendars!

Can't wait for spring edition they have added so many good trucks we love the apple cider donuts . And some of the booths to buy food stuff we love the soup mix one we love it. Music and atmosphere it's the best nice we have something like this.

This show held 3 times a year is AMAZING! (The kinks have been worked out so disregard any negative comments about parking and waiting on the highway. ) That was a concern at only the first show at their new location Fall 2016. Give them a break! It's so much fun and pretty big too, so plan to spend the day! From the Junkstock Facebook page ... Junkstock is one of the premier junk, music and food festival around the country. This year we are celebrating our 5th year of Junkstock and over the years we've discovered a few handy things that we thought we would share... Plan plenty of time, Junkstock typically has 150 plus vendors, 15 plus food trucks and all kinds of fabulous bands on the Junkstock Stage playing though out the weekend. You'll want to plan plenty of time so you can take it all in. We are located on an old horse farm just outside of Omaha called Sycamore Farms. You'll want to make sure you wear comfy shoes that you won't mind if they get a little dusty. We are on a farm after all. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time On the JUNKSTOCK web site up until a week or so before the event OR at Simply Bungalow in Lincoln. You can also purchase tickets at the Junkstock gate the day of the event. Money - We recommend that you bring cash but we do have an on-site ATM. Most vendors do take credit cards as well. Bring the kiddos! We have a fun children's area that they will love.

(Just a note before we begin, and to be completely above board, I was a judge for the Omaha Film…read moreFestival for a few years, but this is an unbiased review from an attendee perspective to the festival in categories I did not judge/after I hung up my judging cap!) So I just want to begin by saying, Omaha is VERY lucky to have a film festival like this in our own town, especially one that is so well organized and features local filmmakers as well as national filmmakers. They have even had some Oscar winning shorts shown at the Omaha Film Festival before they won their big awards. The cost of admission is very reasonable for all that you get out of this festival. You can buy individual tickets if there are certain films/blocks you're interested in, or you can spring for the All Films pass and bop from theater to theater to things you like and make up your mind as you go. They have a little something for everyone, like a few blocks of shorts, feature length films, a Writer's Theater where the winning scripts and screenplays are read, as well as Q&As with some of the filmmakers. They've had some amazing guests, such as Shane Black, Mauro Fiore, Famke Jansson, and the animator Bill Plympton. Some of my favorite films I've seen at the festival (ones that you would recognize) were Obvious Child, Hotel Mumbai, and Score: A Music Film Documentary. This is a great way for local filmmakers to get their movies shown to an audience, as well as some larger independent filmmakers who wish to have their movies shown at local festivals, and not just the giant ones in LA or New York. There are also a few things the Omaha Film Festival runners host outside of the actual festival. They refer to themselves sometimes as a "teaching festival" and I can totally see why. They have the OFF Academy which hosts middle- and high-school students for two days of behind the scenes filmmaking processes. They also do a 48-Hour Film Challenge each year, which offers local filmmakers the chance to create a short with a specific prop and line of dialogue. They haven't shoot, edit, and complete it all within 48 hours! So aside from being a fun film festival, they also do a lot for the community throughout the year, and not just during the week of the festival each year. I will just conclude my review by reiterating that I think this festival is a super neat thing we have in the Omaha community, for film lovers or just people looking to try out a film festival for the first time!

Decided to give this place a try to see what the arcade room is all about…read more The place was clean and spacious, and my kid did have fun, but compared to Dave and Buster's, this place is just not worth it. You can find most of these games at Dave and Busters. The way their point system for games is set up is weird. Let's say a game is 1.5 points--that means they are taking $1.50 from your game card. Many games were 1.5 points, but there were quite a few that went up to 4. So paying $4 to play one game is outrageous and a rip-off, to say the least. At Dave and Buster's, they have a much better system, and your dollar goes a long way compared to this place. Also, some of the claw machines weren't working properly. People would win a toy, but the door wouldn't open to retrieve it. The staff was walking around, and I let them know. They said they were going to get someone, and we waited for maybe 10 minutes, but nobody showed up. I then decided to go find someone working at the shop, and she helped right away. Maybe we will come back and try the bowling and food, but when it comes to the arcade unfortunately we won't be back for that.

I did not enjoy this place at all. I was entertaining a friend from out of town and we were having…read morea hard time finding things to do with it being the holidays. So when we stumbled on this place we thought oh great let's go bowling. Since it was Tuesday it was 50% off bowling and it's misleading how it says that. 50% off all day bowling. And when you go to check in it's like 1 hour for two people the price drops down to something like $18.95 + $5.95 for each shoe rental. Which I know it's been awhile since I've been bowling but that seemed awfully high priced. We went to look and see if there were any open lanes and one line was open so we went to check in. I'm not going to lie I told my friend I didn't want to stay and do it that I thought that was way too much, but we put our name in cuz they said it'd be about 45 minutes which it was and then as a side note I was irritated to see that the lane we were assigned was the one that we saw was empty when we checked it out. We played games to fill our time which one I reflect on this whole experience I kind of wonder if that wasn't just a play to get people to spend more money there. It's very confusing on ordering and getting drinks and it's also really frustrating because if I had to realized that you needed to go to the bar to get drinks, I would have definitely had my drink before our hour began. The shoes didn't fit right which is frustrating when you figure you're paying essentially $6 to rent them for an hour! They also didn't connect right on the floor it felt like they kept stopping my movement there was something that didn't work with the floor in the shoes - I honestly kept feeling like I was going to hurt myself if I tried to bowl like I know how to walk up and throw a ball. I know part of that is me and it's been a few years since I've been bowling but I do know how to approach the alley and throw a ball but I did not feel safe. The balls are frustrating too there's no real variety of holes or sizes - all of the 12 lb bowls have the same size finger holes. This was true for all the balls which I'm sure makes it easier for them financially to bulk buy, just makes it less the user friendly.
