Great to have a newer theater near by. The staff were friendly. Tickets too expensive but what else new. Love the coke machines that allow you to choose whatever you want. I attended a showing of "Odyssey" last evening 7-23-2026, In theatre 1, ACX Theatre, Elkhorn/Gretna NE The sound quality was horrific ! No doubt at decibel levels above safe human hearing. There is no question that the film maker cannot produce recordings to threaten the safe hearing of the public in attendance. This is clearly the fault of your technical staff. First time going to ACX theatre. Love how clean this theatre is compared to other theatres I've been too. Parking was easy. I love how the seats can recline and also my first time seeing heated seats at the movies! It is a plus because I always get cold in the theatre. The entrance area also has a lot of games that kids or adults can play while waiting for their movie to start. They have a restaurant connected where you can order food for your movie and they also have a bar area as well which also looked nice. I got the fries off their menu and also tried the slice pizza. Both were great and enjoyed it while watching my movie. The staff were great and overall enjoyed my experience here. read more

This theater is "best" on several point for me. Best seats. So comfortable and adjustable, and there's room to walk by when the seats are extended/reclined. No side-stepping! Best concessions. This one includes well-made pizzas. So tasty! Best extra. In the lobby is access to a tasty restaurant and lounge. The bartenders are very good, The seating is comfortable and plentiful. The vibe is en pointe. For me, anyway. Parking is easy and reasonable. Very good for inclement weather for us. They also have excellent selections of films, great screens and great staff! So pleased. This cinema is a bit messier than others I've been to. We were two out of five people in a showing, and it was terribly messy. The screen has some kind of mark or scratch on it, but it didn't bother me much. We didn't try any of the food as we had just ate before going here. It was such a bummer that the Photo Booth was not working. I would definitely come back to this theater though. This place was great! We chose our seats ahead of time, but you don't have to. We were amazed by the massive screens, delicious snacks and courteous staff. Concession prices aren't too bad either. Warning - Get Off My Lawn rant No reason to single out ACX Cinema 12+ when most of its competitors do the same. That said, $6.50 for the smallest drink is unconscionable. There is no reason for this other than to gouge a captive audience. My 7 year old drank about the top 1/10th of a $7.50 medium soda, and the three of us spent $75 to see a movie. read more

Went to see the new mission impossible with my dad as a Father's Day date. We booked the tickets online two days in advance for a 7:30pm showing. We got to the theater at 7, scanned the email to receive our tickets, and went to the designated screen only to find that it was now a 7:10pm showing of lilo and stitch. We went to the attendant at the front desk to see what was up, and that's when we were informed that they had canceled the showing of mission impossible in favor of showing a different movie. The attendant gave us a cash refund (only the price of the tickets, not the online booking fee), a gift card, and two free admittances for another time. It was nice to be taken care of in that regard, but the knowledge that they can just cancel a showing on you like that really makes me not want to go back. I have to take time out of my schedule to see a movie, and my time feels wasted when I show up to the theater only to see they've canceled on me. It's a really nice place if you are ok with dealing with the uncertainty of knowing whether you'll actually be seeing a movie or not, but i just can't overlook that personally. read more

This was the first time going to this place and was super excited. Looked busy for a Saturday, but not overall crazy. This meant there was no excuse for the dirtiness of this place. The picture was before my movie started, and when our movie ended, bathrooms looked 10 times worse! No toilet paper in any stall, trash had not been picked up. Just gross! As we walked out, popcorn absolutely everywhere! The butter/ napkin station had not been cleaned once! I did not want to take additional pictures of the bathrooms or the overall dirtiness, but they need to get it together! Such a nice movie theater for it to look like a trash bin! read more

I decided to see a movie here vs my usual Marcus Village Pointe theaters. The parking lot is spacious compared to the mall parking lot. The front area for check in is more cramped and the restrooms are not provided on both sides of the theatres. The food and beverages are fresh, they do have a bar, and the seats have an attached swivel tray that is unique. The theaters are clean and the crowds are well behaved. I will be returning, especially when the connecting restaurant serves food and provides live entertainment. read more

Let me first off say that I absolutely love this new theater that opened up this year. It's not far from me and going to the movies is an adventure to me. The theater is modern and state of the art. I love that they also have $5 movie Tuesdays as well as $2 small drinks and popcorn. You can order your tickets online which is great. Today I screwed up and ordered tickets for the Aksarben location. The employee said it was no sweat and printed me out a ticket for this theater. He didn't chastise me or make me feel like I was a burden. Actually, all the employees here are super helpful and friendly. I couldn't find theater 12 and another friendly staff member showed me where to go with a smile, well I could hear it in her voice, she was wearing a mask. I can't recommend this place enough. It's time to get back out there and enjoy the movies again, people! Leave your couch and go on an adventure! read more

Hiya! Let me first start by saying that my wife, my MummaBear, and myself love this location and theatre. The screens are huge, the sound is incredible, plus free refills(?!) like how could you go wrong? The only consistent complaint(s) I have are the attitudes of (just some of) the team members (it's no bueno), as well as the cleanliness of the lavatories. Other than that, the team members working together and clearly running around trying to get everything they can accomplished, they're rockstars ! The bartender(s) are pretty hilarious, and I mean who skips out on a frozen whiskey cola? We are committed to trying the restaurant in/next door to the theatre next time. So we'll keep you posted. Hi, so I went to see a movie with passes given to me for veteran students and family from Witcc, they gave me two movie passes for your venue. This past Saturday I went to see a movie called Poltergeist at 9:30pm. Apparently the movie tickets were only useful for a limited amount of $. I did not understand because these were supposed to be movie tickets not a gift card. Attached is the flyer with what the college posted. Your manager at the front ticket desk Twila Roberts OPR1256 gave me the number to Tyler(712-277-8310) because initially was upset. Didn't feel it was your guys fault because they probably didn't know but Twila Operator1256 told me you guys give lots of gift cards to witcc so maybe some misunderstanding from both sides occured and witcc for advertising movie tickets so only have 5 dollars is unacceptable. Please address this issue because lying to veterans will always be wrong and I want to get to the bottom of it. Where did the communication go wrong? I was gonna pay the difference but Twila voided the fee ,only after asking me if I was questioning his management capabilities. I told Operator no its not his fault but somebody else's, so thats why he gave me Tyler's number. Never called figured email would be better for a paper trail, movie was great so anyways thank you. I have one more pass but for 5 dollars its not much of a pass. Is there any rate at $5.35 for a movie? Our experience was less than ideal. It was our first visit and we had no idea what to expect and we wanted to eat. The restaurant was crazy busy so we ordered pizza to take into our movie. That process was convenient. To get a soda and popcorn we had to stand in the line in the theater and an adult beverage required another line at the bar in the theater. The pizza was mediocre at best. We got settled in our seats in theater 10. Theater 10 butts up to the arcade in the lobby and during the whole movie we heard loud and screaming kids. Very annoying, especially during the quiet parts of the movie. I guess I will go back to the Alamo. read more

We ended up on a spur of the moment date night and this is the closest to us. The restaurant attached was closed already but we wanted to grab a drink before the show as we had 45 mins before it started. We were informed by the concession stand that we could order both food and drink at the restaurant/bar next door. We walk over and they tell us they are closed and the concession was misinformed. We wander back to the concession and try to order a pizza but get informed the oven is broken and they only have popcorn, hot dogs and nachos. We then get informed we can order drinks from the bar and a manager would serve us. The bar was closed up and locked so the manager was looking for a key. The kicker was, while all this was going on, a group of employees saw us wandering back and forth but decided to just stand and stare at us while we were shuffled from place to place with no guidance. Counters were filthy, soda machines looked like they hadn't been wiped down all day and the chairs in the theater and theater themselves had trash still lying around from previous showings. Two stars for the location and heated recliners but I would have rather driven to Alamo or elsewhere. read more

Wow! This place is seriously a hidden gem. We live in the apartments nearby and have always heard good things. We gave it a shot on a Thursday mid afternoon. Check in process was great and prices were fair. Yummy popcorn and icees, plus lots of drink options. Very modern inside. In the theater, seats are recliners with heated seats to adjust to your liking and individual trays quite cup holders attached to seat. So convenient and will definitely be returning. Can't wait to try the restaurant backlot which looked busy for a Thursday afternoon! read more

I bought tickets for the wrong theater. I was told by the manager that it's an easy fix. I called the Aksarben location at least 8 times to get my money back. I was promised by the manager of the Gretna location that I would get a gift card if I didnt hear from Aksarben. if I could give zero stars... I would. Today we went to see Super Mario Bros with 2 adults and 5 kids. When we got there there was a printer issue and it only printed 2 tickets. so by the time we had finally found someone who knew what they were doing our other tickets had been purchased by someone at the other kiosk. THIS IS THE 3rd time I've caught this theater double selling tickets. I think it's so unethical and I'm so mad that this has happened to us 3 times. I was super excited to have a theater open up nearer to where I live and not only that but a tad classier theater with a minimum age--hence the 12+...or so I thought. I went to see The Green Knight (amazing movie btw, very much reccomend if you enjoy films with a complex and imperfect protagonist, but I digress) last tuesday when there are deals on ticket prices and concessions and was disappointed to find that there had been an arcade installed in the large entrance room with a swarm of screaming kids to boot. It destroyed any sense of this being a slightly more mature theater than a Marcus or an AMC, and are maybe even less so, I think that Marcus theaters have since done away with arcades a while ago. Other than that, the prices of the ACX are on par with the other theaters so I am left wondering if I should just drive the extra 5-10 minutes to another theater to avoid that experience. Oh, and the theater doors have a window from the hall into the auditorium which means there is a constant small amount of slightly noticable light in the silhouette of hall that shines on a lower corner of all of the screens. Easily fixed if they get different auditorium doors. Overall, this is a fine, midrange theater. Not the most expensive but also not the cheapest in the area. I'll be returning but if there is ever another movie that I'm especially excited to see, i.e. the upcoming Dune film, I'll probably go to the Alamo where I know my experience will be flawless and money well spent. All gripes aside, the employees here are doing a great job, the seem to know their stuff and are very capable of assisting me with my questions. I'd love to see more masks still in use since we are still in a pandemic but to each their own choice. read more

This theater is trying to get more money for their on-line purchases. They are adding a service charge when purchasing tickets on-line, even though you are a rewards member. When you bring this to their attention they blame their web provider. Yet they do not try to fix the problem. You are not charged a service fee when you purchase them at the theater. Also, their loyalty/rewards program is lacking as you have no way to check your status online. Again this is a web provider issue. Maybe you should find a new web provider. read more

Enjoyed the theater, the seats were great and the food in the restaurant was great. Fun time will be back.
