Big fan of this theater. It is very well maintained. There are so many choices for food. They are Pepsi, which is a shame, but otherwise they are great. Popcorn was fresh and free on Tuesday! Had an okay experience at Marcus Village Pointe. A group of us went for the Lord of the Rings special extended edition showing. Biggest issue is they didn't have the collectors popcorn bins which was super disappointing. The popcorn wasn't super fresh but that's more the luck of the draw. My second bucket was better. Pop machines had an issue where ice wasn't working at one that caused a bit of a pile up. Seats and theater were clean and movie was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. read more

I recently went to a sing along movie and I was so happy with how it turned out. I'd never been to a sing along before and I was nervous about the experience. Oddly enough the kiddos singing along was my favorite part. The theater did a wonderful job turning the audio ever so slightly up for the songs throughout the movie so others could sing along. The seats also had some seat heaters that work very very well. The service at this location was great. The only complaint I might have like be the cleanliness of the theater itself, lots of snacks from those who sat there prior to us but I know that's a little harder to control with a busy theater schedule. read more

Went to the Village pointe Marcus theater this afternoon to see a movie with my daughter. After going to Marcus theater Majestic at 144th and Maple Street and being extremely disappointed, my experience at Village pointe was much better. The seats cleaner, and not as torn up. The theater that we were in was a nice size and spaced out nicely and not extremely overcrowded. One thing I did notice is that the pricing here was considerably more than another local theater, AMC. I don't mind a slight difference, but this was a considerable difference. read more

It's a Tuesday afternoon which means the whole day, you only pay 5 dollars for any movie being shown at a Marcus theater. Village Pointe has a clean facility, sanitized seats, and clean restrooms. It's been pre-Covid since I had purchased any food here and am unable to comment on this variable, however the place is always temperature controlled and the reclining seats are a major bonus. Parking is hardly an issue lately and afterwards, there are plenty of eateries if you choose not to buy food here. I highly recommend this theater to watch your latest released movies. read more

Comfy Leather reclining seats. Restrooms are close and they have several. I did see the cleaning crew use the brooms to sweep off seats and then sweep floor. That is gross. The floors are dirty and then to sweep the seat after. That's my only negative. read more

Fairly nice new theater, but it's down on my list as far as preference. Just not quite in my wheelhouse in terms of design and it's the farthest away from midtown. Also, off topic, I swear I already wrote a review of this theater... something to do with a feeling of hearding cattle. Did it get flagged for some reason? Anyway, Friday night this (and all Village Point in general) is the new place to be for teens who can't drive - or maybe for those that can, they're starting to look the same age to me... The last Friday we went, they were hanging out in the lobby in droves. And on a Saturday afternoon the theater was full of young children... of course we were seeing Over the Hedge, but that couldn't have anything to do with the fact that we were the only adults in the theater without kids, would it? read more

If you've not been to this theater recently, you may be happy to learn that they have converted their theaters to dream loungers. We've stayed away because once you go to reserved seating, why in the heck would you ever go back to standard seating? It's insane. But, we did see our first movie here this weekend and it was great. The dream loungers were actually a little stiff, they haven't been broken in yet. But, that is a small complaint. Otherwise, the theater was clean, the staff was courteous, and this location is much closer to our house than the one on Maple. We'll definitely be back. read more

Last week my girlfriend and I had a weird experience here. The drink she ordered was filled with ice, literally filled to the brim of the cup. We didn't notice at first, only once she finished her drink after a few sips. I took the cup of ice to the counter and explained what happened. The manager was called (he was actually the person who made this drink) and I explained to him that the cup was completely filled with ice and she barely got 5 sips out of it. I asked if we could get a replacement or at least just half. He told me that if he does that, it would mainly just be lemonade and barely any alcohol. I told him that's fine, she's mainly just thirsty. He then makes another drink and then demands that I pay for it. I told him I specifically asked for a replacement. He didn't budge and was actually trying to get more money out of me, I felt very insulted. I told him that at the other Marcus Theaters we've been to, they never fill their drinks with so much ice. Get this, he actually told me it's their recipe, that they have to fill the ENTIRE cup with ice. That's when I realized this guy just did not like me. Why would he say something so outlandish to a customer? It felt like he didn't want me and my girlfriend to visit this place in the future. Why would a manager tell a customer that it's their policy to fill the entire cup with ice? Why would anyone spend so much money for just a few sips? It's like he was trying to push us away from this location. Here's the interesting part, when he checked my girlfriend's ID, he said her picture threw him off. In her ID photo, she's wearing a hijab. I didn't think anything of it at first since she wasn't wearing a hijab and was also wearing a mask but considering this experience and that my last name is Mohammed (I ordered a beer so he also saw my ID), I now feel like he just didn't like us and didn't want Muslims at his theater. He also wasn't as friendly to us as the other people who worked there. Btw, I know for a fact that he was lying about them having to fill the whole cup with ice because I was able to get a picture of their recipe sheet. The drink she ordered was called a Wonder Woman. The recipe for the 16 oz is 1/2 oz of grenadine, 1 oz of cranberry juice, 1 1/2 of pinnacle trop punch, 1/2 oz of blue curaçao, 1 oz of premium lemonade, topped with Sierra Mist. NO WHERE on that recipe sheet did it say that they have to FILL THE ENTIRE CUP WITH ICE. He was blatantly lying to me. This manager clearly didn't like us. After trying to get me to pay for the second drink he made, he finally said I didn't have to (as if I were ever going to do such a stupid thing). I thought about asking for a refund for the original drink, but didn't because I wanted to get back to the movie. This happened on Nov 3rd around 4 or 5 pm. read more

I wish I could give this theater ZERO stars. This establishment is now requiring proof of vaccination to get in to their theatres. Not only does this go against science (as vaccinated individuals can spread covid as easily as unvaccinated) but it also goes against my basic right to privacy. The theatre is freezing cold. Requested that the heat be turned up, but with no success. Absolutely miserable. Winter coat and scarf did no good. Such a bummer. Told after the movie that the temp was 56 and that they were sorry. Comped the tickets so glad for that. read more

This location is a great venue: generally pretty clean (altho they really should have a plan for staff to check on used paper towels, etc as the trash cans in restrooms are often overflowing. I mean, where, exactly, to the staff go unless it's the ones everyone uses? IF staff are waltzing into the RR's like The Rest Of Us, they'd have to completely ignore the mess?!) Explain to me why it's on the customers to "report" lack of tidyness? Shouldn't shifts have regular monitoring? Would LOVE this location to have the "Dream Loungers" -- moved from NW to West Omaha -- and was spoiled with the 144th & Maple location, for sure! I come from California where we have couches that recline and servers who bring you food and drinks in our movie theaters. Yesterday we saw Deadpool 2. I thoroughly appreciate the dream loungers. I'm spoiled so I only want to sit in the recliners. The loungers are very comfortable. I did not try the heat setting as I was already wearing a sweater. We got free popcorn, maybe for signing up for their rewards. I don't remember. My husband got a bag and so did I which was cool. The popcorn wasn't amazing by any means. It tasted old and lackluster. Didn't taste warm or freshly popped. But this isn't a huge deal breaker for me. Parking can be a bit difficult though. I will definitely be returning next discount Tuesday. read more

We saw Spider-Man Homecoming tonight in a standard theater. The clerk at the ticket sales counter was very helpful and friendly. Climate control in the theater was pleasant and the seats are comfortable. All in all a pleasant movie going experience, just higher priced than other theaters in town. read more

I'm not sure how I feel about the building....I. Will say that they would really fix their female bathroom located in the left side of the building bear movie room #8. There were holes near the toilets & most of the ceilings were taken off. Not a pleasant feeling when using the bathroom. The food options should offer vegan or vegetarian friendly options for snacks. I asked if they had a veggie burger... They just stared at me and said they had grilled cheese. I asked if they had substitute options and again they didn't say anything. These kids need some training on people skills or something to help them understand people don't eat the same things they eat. I hope this location will start to offer a more healthier option for the snack bar, especially for people who don't eat unhealthy or choose a more healthier option on snacks. Prices are high, but I do like the sound quality & the heated chairs. The chairs weren't cleaned that well, it was a messy movie room, but maybe they were low in staff? Not sure but it was a bit gross having oily popcorn all over the seats and tissue. I like the location. read more

Looks nice walking up and location near a beautiful shopping and dining are. But workers aren't very nice, bathrooms are disgusting. It's 4pm on a Saturday and trash is overflowing. Smells like crap in the halls. These seats don't recline like the other Marcus theatre. Not sure if only certain one or none but we're in right side #15 screen. Not a fan. The snack bar menu looked really cool. They serve Whitecastle cheeseburgers. Of course it was movie theatre prices, a little of $2 per burger. All they are doing is heating up frozen ones in a microwave. So they taste like it too, not like a real Whitecastel burger. The theater itself is really nice and the seats are big and comfy. However they stack the showtimes too close togther. I went to see my movie and tried to walk in 10 minutes early to get a good seat and relax a minute. The prior showing was still going. The prior viewing actual went up to the time my showing was starting. So unless you want to see the end of the movie you are about to see before the start, don't walk in early. There were several of us standing outside waiting for it to end. That's crazy you can't even be 2 minutes early. read more

Came back. Same thing. Dark screen. The other Marcus out on 144th and Maple same thing. I think it must be a company policy to cut cost at the expense of our experiences. Saw, "Won't You Be My Neighbor", has seats in the front row and because of the loungers it didn't even matter that we were so close!

This theater needs a kiosk to print pre paid tickets. We had to wait in line for at least 20 minutes. For $12.50 per ticket they should be able to upgrade to a kiosk. read more

Went to the movie with my boyfriend since the reopening with Covid-19. We were the only ones in the movie that night. The volume in the movie was extremely way too loud for our liking. I asked one of the workers if they could possibly turn it down some. He said he would look into it. After 10 minutes later and the movie was starting to play - it was very clear that the volume was never turned down. I went back out to find someone and the same guy I spoke to before pretty much told me that there was no way possible to turn down the volume. As I turned back around to go back into the movie - I heard the guy along with his manager standing there laugh at me. I was not highly impressed by their customer service nor thinking my request was a laughing matter. We spent over $80 on tickets, food, and drinks. We ended up leaving and the movie, got our money back for tickets, but really unsure if this is a place I would like to visit again after that experience. read more

Went to see Cinderella today. Theater not cleaned prior to show...cups, popcorn containers snd paper/popcorn on the floor. Large coke was spilled in the lobby. Told staff member of this...they seemed unconcerned but there may have been only two staff in theater. I went to Village Point last night to see a movie at 7:10pm. I got there at 6:40pm, I went to get into the concession line and he scanned my members card. Well it's 2$ hotdog Tuesday's, reg popcorn was on sale for $2 and my soda. Then they take the 5$ off my membership card without asking. Ok so my hotdogs I was charged 9.50. I had to go stand back in line because you don't want to cut anyone, the teenager behind the counter says " well you must have not asked for the 2$ hotdogs" Really it's Tuesday and it's a special didn't know I needed to clarify. I don't need to at Majestic. He didn't even know the reg popcorn was discounted. He tried giving me a junior popcorn. So the "manager" came over and the kid tried blaming me. No honey... They gave me a refund. Ok so I go to my movie and my daughter and I are getting ready to eat our hotdogs. Burnt, old, no meat left inside. Now the line is even busier and again don't want to cut anyone and get the eye from anyone. Told them these are "old and uneatable". They again had to ask if it's ok to give me two hotdogs and what to do with the ones I clearly touched. Well you're giving me new ones. I'm not eating those. Finally after 7:10 I get my hotdogs and they were a little better but the ends were on their way out. Very poor customer service. I'm not one to get mad or write reviews but this is unbelievable that they were this bad. No apologies what so ever. Maybe that's all it would have taken.
