They have bar service and wait staff for drinks, a QR code menu, and table card menus with specials. I thought it was hilarious they have a shot of the night, it's so not the place I'd imagine taking a shot, haha. They have wine bottles for purchase and they serve it in a bucket of ice to chill. I opted for a bottle of rosé since they didn't have a single glass rosé. It was probably the best choice because a couple drinks would have been the same price as buying the bottle for $25. Then she explained, that i can stand there but i can't sit there. Even if I was drinking, and buying drinks all night. And she was so proud of herself. I remember bartending- for 14 years. At places like the Ranch Bowl, Choo Choos, I never remember telling a customer to move bc they sat down, alone. I think what's more important is how excited she was to be a dick. If I was causing a fight, or completely non compliant (Again - alone and said I would move to the end of the empty bar)- then i wouldn't be posting this. Instead. This grumpy bitch ruined my night. A night that I bought tickets for two weeks ago. I almost never go out to bars. I'm 47, so older, and alone. My friends were so happy for me to do this. Maybe- that "policy" works when it's elbow to elbow. But if it's so dead...maybe people sitting at the end of the bar is a good thing. I mean, I don't know for sure, just 14 years bartending, 3 degrees on business and marketing, own multiple business that have been operating for over 20 years, fluent in 2 languages, with documented credentials, Means I might have a perspective that says- don't be a dick needlessly. There is a time and a place to stand on rules. There's also a way to treat ask people politely. Especially in Omaha, Ne. They have tons of stuff going on like bands, comedy shows, and used to have trivia but I don't know if they do anymore - and the bartenders have always been great. There is always something fun happening there, even if it's just a plain old bar night. The drinks are served cold and crisp, and best of all - it's way less expensive than some other bars in the Benson area. A great place for a cheap beer and the best people!

Getting wrist bands and drinks tickets was never an issue, aside from a longer line Friday night just before the main performer at 9pm. Definitely worth the drive to Ashland especially since the parking and traffic has plenty of space and doesn't take too long to get in or out.

I looked online to see what the menu was like and it was typical dive bar food. We walked in to an exceedingly dark space. We were trying to find a seat when the bartender asked a question I couldn't hear. Big Bro replied we wanted to eat and have a beer. That's when we found out that despite pictures and menus of food offerings listed online, O'Leaver's does not serve food any more. However, we could eat at the Mexican restaurant next door. So that's what we did. It would be an excellent idea for O'Leaver's to revamp their online presence to reflect the absence of food.

I have no idea what the ones who are complaining about how they got treated. Maybe it wasn't the staff who had the problem! Parking was only $5.00 can you believe that? try to find that kind of a deal downtown like that! Plus it is right across the street from it! Too, the line is odd, as it's only one person screening IDs for booze wristbands. We decided they don't need our bar money. Skipped on those, and went to the entry area, which has multiple entry lines. The sound is great. The light show is odd, given that it's still light out at 7pm in July. The headliner might be able to properly utilize them, though. The stage is close enough to see facial expressions from the 200s, which is great. Out here, the singer can easily walk down to the audience. He did, too. Parking is the same for indoor and outdoor seating. It's close to the event, and it's only $5. We'd previously been to the indoor theater, and liked it better. Not as hot, nor as sunny, either. I see apartments next to the amphitheater. That must be rough. There need to be more restaurants near this location. We're glad we like one of the few.
