She was spectacular! She brought us drinks and food in a very timely manner. We got the nachos and bao buns and they were incredibly tasty! Quinn continued checking in on us and when it was time to go to the sing suite, she escorted us there and got us all set up. In the middle of our singing session she surprised us with a treat for our day date (picture below) Needless to say, for our first time we were blown away by Quinn and the Smash Park in general! Can't find that anywhere else. The only miss was the hummus plate. The edamame hummus was just not good. It was dry and really just lacked flavor to complement the fresh veggies, chips, and toast. It was unique, but I would have preferred a good creamy chickpea hummus and ranch. The server was really nice and really on top of things. The only issue we had was there really wasn't a dedicated person upstairs initially. Not really surprising since it was just us. They do have some spare shoes available to rent, if you're not prepared. Staff are friendly & gave us a quick demonstration on how to throw an axe. Everyone Must stay out of the cage area when someone is throwing an axe. Very smart because the axe can fly back after hitting the target & missing! They have table tops with chairs lined up outside the cage to sit & watch, talk & have a drink or snacks. I was pleasantly surprised how fun this is. We will definitely be back!!!

Axe throwing was always something that my wife and I wanted to do, so we finally got to do it on a…read moredate night a few months back. One important thing to note is that you have to schedule your throwing time beforehand on their website. At the time, they supposedly did not accept walk-ins, but I do not know if that has or will change. Also, closed-toe shoes are required, so leave the sandals at home! The building itself is pretty basic and not a lot of decorating flare (which is fine, because I am here to throw axes). When you arrive, you have to sign the waiver, you have an opportunity to buy food, drink,etc and then you wait for your time to come. Once it is your scheduled time, you are taken back to your lane, giving a demo and overview of the various games and operating rules. After that, you are on your own but our guide was nearby most of the night if we had questions. He was able to answer questions and take food/drink orders. For the menu, they had popcorn and other small snack menu and a selection of canned beers, seltzers, and ciders. Prices were reasonable for the items my wife and I purchased. For the axe-throwing itself, you can reserve by the hour or lane. One hour is $20 per person or $35 for two hours (6 people per lane, includes training prior to starting). You can also rent two lanes for an hour for $200 (up to 12 people) or two hours for $350. There are a variety of games, including a traditional target, a Connect 4 style game, 21, a matching game, and more! Players are given clever names such as "Pain in the Axe" and "Axe Hole". You can also choose to use an axe or throwing star for additional fun or challenge. It's actually a bit more tiring than it seems. The atmosphere was very welcoming and there were plenty of bathrooms and they were clean and had all supplies stocked. Staff was friendly and helpfulWhen we were done, we were taking selfies near the entrance (there is a backdrop and props), and the hostess offered to take our picture. We both had fun and are looking at going back with the kids.

In Toom of Doom, you are trying to escape a cursed room, using clues left by an explorer who perished before you. We had two younger children, so our family required a couple clues to finish, but the background and room setup were esceptional, the staff was very helpful, even offering assistance while we were struggling in the room, and we were able to finish our room with 7:56 left. The kids and the parents both had a great time and would gladly return to House of Conundrum again in the future!

The room is the classic style room with cheesy decorations, old school locks and keys and codes. There wasn't much, if any, automation in the room. One high point was the person working- who did a great job of setting the scene and serving a bit of immersion. It was obvious that whoever built this room had the Batman mannequin and built the rest around it. We divided and conquered the puzzles pretty quickly because we thought we were rushing to another room, but upon opening it, that was the end of the experience. I understand that some of their challenges do involve multiple rooms but this is the only one we got to do during our visit to Omaha.

You can find most of these games at Dave and Busters. The way their point system for games is set up is weird. Let's say a game is 1.5 points--that means they are taking $1.50 from your game card. Many games were 1.5 points, but there were quite a few that went up to 4. So paying $4 to play one game is outrageous and a rip-off, to say the least. At Dave and Buster's, they have a much better system, and your dollar goes a long way compared to this place. Also, some of the claw machines weren't working properly. People would win a toy, but the door wouldn't open to retrieve it. The staff was walking around, and I let them know. They said they were going to get someone, and we waited for maybe 10 minutes, but nobody showed up. I then decided to go find someone working at the shop, and she helped right away. Maybe we will come back and try the bowling and food, but when it comes to the arcade unfortunately we won't be back for that.
