I did this game event with a form work team. It isa great place for bonding, as you do have to work together and 6 heads are definitely better than one. The games are fun, challenging, and very interactive. The team is well versed in getting everyone up to speed on how the timed experiment will go. It was very fun. The rooms are set up where pretty much everything has a purpose. You could possibly get a little claustrophobic as you are fully locked in this room, but no one had an issues, and not to brag, my team won! read more

I've been here twice and both experiences are fun! I work with a college ministry, and when we go on mission trips or I want to help students get plugged into community, escape rooms are great for it! I also used pocket points to get 30% off of the $25 per person rooms so everyone paid about $18. We had a great time. I started off by looking to see if there was a hidden room, and I was sure that there wasn't. Halfway through, a door opened up and I was shocked. These guys do a great job of keeping things interesting and I'm excited for more rooms to cycle through. I don't want to spoil anything, but the ending provided a good joke and I literally burst out laughing. If you are looking to see about getting a special rate and figuring out which room is best suited to your group; talk to Nick who manages Entrap Games and has been there for the past 2 1/2/ years. Nick worked out a great deal with us on a private room as well as recommending the best room for our young teen group. We took his recommendation and went with "The Cure" scenario. You can choose to have a "private experience" just your own family and friends or share the room with other adventure seekers. The price may change for the private experience. We only had 5 in our party, but were told we could have gone up to 8-10 without any further fees - this may vary. - We did some comparison shopping and found Entrap gave us the best deal after talking to Nick and comparing the rates with other Omaha based escape businesses. Entrap Games is located in a multi story office building. When you enter, you are greeted by the staff and led to a waiting room while your room is prepared. Entrap also has a variety of small brain teasers available for you to try out to get warmed up before entering your respective room. Staff was informative and helpful. Our party was led to the room and provided with the necessary instructions to begin, Without giving up any secrets of the room, there are some twists and turns that kept the young teens engaged the entire time. If you have significant problems and get stuck - the staff can pass you clues remotely via computer screen - they are watching you the entire time. Overall it was a great experience and one I would recommend to anyone looking to do team building, a little something different or whatever. We had a groupon for Entrap Games and this is the second escape room I have done. We went to the Yelp event at Get Out Omaha downtown and that escape room was a bit different than this one. We did 'The Heist' scenario and this game had a 30%(ish) completion rate. The puzzles were all pretty good and more tricky than anything. I thought a few of the puzzles were less intuitive than they should have been, but maybe that is just me. I personally enjoyed Get Out Omaha a bit more, just because the experience was a little more immersive than the one I did, but Entrap Games still did a great job. They are willing to help you if you get stuck and will offer some clues if you ask. We finished with about 20 minutes to go and were proud of the result. read more

My husband and his friends loved their experience here! I sent him on a "man date" with 3 of his friends and I was immediately delighted when they responded to my contact form within a few minutes. Elaine, who coordinated the room, was extremely helpful and responsive in getting us set up. My husband relayed back to me that the quality of the experience was exceptional. The introduction to the room was top-notch, the video quality was professionally done, and the room itself was beautifully assembled with props (and sound effects). He noted that there were things he hadn't seen used at other escape rooms (he's been to 3 others at this point) including pin combinations and sensor locks, plus the room was spacious- other places have felt "crowded". They needed a few hints during that time and he said they gave enough clues while leaving plenty of room for them to solve it themselves. This place was beyond disgusting. The room was so dirty and it looked as if it hasnt been cleaned since it opened. The clues were beyond aweful and the safe didnt work half the time to even get the room complete. I complained to a what looked like a 19 girl that didnt care. The host told us not to touch pictures but the main clue was underneath a picture!!! He continued to laugh when i complained to the manager and mock me. At what point does the manager tell her staff to be professional! I will tell everyone in omaha about this horrible experience and how i lost $85 for a headache instead of a night of family fun. I went and did this with my wife, 2 kids (aged 9 & 10) and my 2 nieces, who are both in their 20's. I had done an Escape room on two other occasions at their local competitor. This "other place" is more affordable, so we had avoided Entrap until a Groupon deal arrived in my inbox. It's hard to review our experience in the room, as I don't want to give a single thing away! I will say, there is a reason that Entrap is more expensive than that "other place". It's a much more interactive and premium feeling experience. At Entrap, so much more went in to the design of the story, the puzzles and the way the room is set up. After we escaped, I felt like I had just starred in a movie thriller! Our host was very friendly and energetic, he got us excited to get started. When it was all over, we met another man, who proudly explained a few things about the room. You could just tell, both of these guys were enjoying themselves and (gasp!) excited about working there. A premium price for a premium experience? I can handle that. We are already making plans to try and go do another room. Hopefully we can get in on another Groupon! read more

Went here with my coworkers for a team building exercise paid for through our team budget. Reserved 3 rooms to accommodate the 15 of us. Used the Groupon recently offered. The rooms were complex and engaging and has a couple "wow" moments when something unexpected happened. As part of a team that escaped before the hour time limit I felt very accomplished and "powerful" once we got out, like we had really achieved something. I would have done their 2nd room right then and there of money had been no object. This is a good segue into the reason for my 4* review (rather than 5*). The price is outrageous. My team was originally not going to go as the cost was well outside our budget. Were it not for the Groupon we would not have gone. If I wanted to get a group of friends together to go the price is so expensive ($30 per person) I doubt I could convince anyone to go. Overall a great time and I'm sure one of the most fun things to do in Omaha, just a bit too expensive. read more

Entrap Games - What a fun time! - Challenge Courses Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

My husband and I have been desperately looking for fun things to do in Omaha (outside of eating and the zoo). When I saw a Groupon for Entrap Games, I knew I had to check it out! Entrap Games is the first room escape adventure in Omaha. I had heard great things about other room escapes in other cities, so this has been on my bucket list for several months now. I was finally able to check it off my list today at Entrap Games. The way it works is you're locked in a room with a group of individuals (up to 7 other people). You work together to escape the room by solving clues/puzzles. You only have 60 minutes to escape, and tickets are $30 a piece. If you have a group of 8 people, you can book your escape for Monday through Wednesday. If you're like my husband and me, you probably don't have a group of 8, so you'll have to sign up for a weekend escape. Entrap games has several time slots available Thursday through Sunday. I would highly recommend having a large group (even if that means joining strangers). We ended up picking a time slot when no one else was signed up, so we only had each other to help us with the clues. Unless you're an amazing puzzle wizard (and I can definitely say that I am not), solving it in a small group will be challenging. The man who owns Entrap Games told us that his current escape room (The Heist) has a success rate of 26%. We were able to solve all of the puzzles with the exception of 2 (so in sum, we were unsuccessful). Despite not solving the puzzle, we had such an amazing time. It was a lot of fun figuring out the clues. Some other helpful points....if you check-in either on Yelp or Facebook, you will get 3 free clues throughout your adventure. I would HIGHLY recommend checking in. I don't think we would have gotten nearly as far without the clues. While Entrap Games currently only has "The Heist," the man who owns it told us today that he is planning on adding other rooms, including one where you start handcuffed and blind folded. We will definitely be back to check it out, especially since there is a $5 military discount. In terms of service, I really liked the man who owns it. He was very clear with the instructions and encouraged me to leave a review, even if it was one star (just so long as I gave reasons as to why it was a one star). I really appreciated this as I've had other businesses in the past strong-arm me into a 5 star review. Furthermore, it shows that he's really interested in making this a great experience for his customers. In sum, a really fun and unique way to spend an hour. I'm really hoping we are successful next time we try! read more

Wow!! This was the most amazing night my husband and I have ever had In 12 years! It's challenging, fast pace, high adrenaline fun. Having to put the clues together to escape was harder than we expected. They do not disappoint in the creativity and puzzles. Clues are strewn everywhere for you to figure out and piece it together. We will be back again to complete every room. We did off limits today. We absolutely 100% recommend this to any one. You leave being mind blown that you've never had this experience before. I've done every room at ENTRAP Games, I have to say there is no better escape room company in Omaha! I came home from California- where they have really good rooms- and went to ENTRAP and had to most fun out of everywhere, I actually did half of the rooms twice!
