You can find most of these games at Dave and Busters. The way their point system for games is set up is weird. Let's say a game is 1.5 points--that means they are taking $1.50 from your game card. Many games were 1.5 points, but there were quite a few that went up to 4. So paying $4 to play one game is outrageous and a rip-off, to say the least. At Dave and Buster's, they have a much better system, and your dollar goes a long way compared to this place. Also, some of the claw machines weren't working properly. People would win a toy, but the door wouldn't open to retrieve it. The staff was walking around, and I let them know. They said they were going to get someone, and we waited for maybe 10 minutes, but nobody showed up. I then decided to go find someone working at the shop, and she helped right away. Maybe we will come back and try the bowling and food, but when it comes to the arcade unfortunately we won't be back for that.

The game can fit a lot of people in the space, which is great! I love that there's an option for larger-group escape rooms. However, I don't think the puzzle is difficult enough to keep more than a handful of people busy at a time. They are able to reset rooms with amazing speed between players and I have had rarely any issues with mistakes when they've been reset. So far, we have done Abraham Lincoln, Batman, and Reindeer Games rooms. My favorite has definitely been Reindeer Games as it's a lighthearted and cute room with tons of puzzles to solve. Batman was a little more difficult if you didn't have much knowledge about it, and Abraham Lincoln has so far been the easiest! Definitely try it out! Overall, I liked the room, however there was one clue/puzzle that really made me annoyed because of technicalities, and you'll know if you do the room. We also found a key that opened a lock box that wasn't meant to be opened with, and that slowed us down a bit because we thought we were missing a key. Staff was great even though the game master kept making some small remarks as we played. I don't particularly like when game masters offer help when we don't ask. If we're messing up, let us cook. We'll ask for a hint when the time and pressure hits.

Only one from our group was a local but the rest of us are totally coming back again! Also didn't catch the lady's name that started the game for us (she had the awesome dinosaur earrings) but she was an absolute joy and totally made the whole experience super fun for everyone!

If you are a first timer like many of us were this is a great room to start with! (No zombies chasing you there lol!) Tips: Make sure your group arrived ON TIME. This location is downtown so plan accordingly for parking and depending where you park, the walk to the entrance. I just visited The Escape Room with my wife and four friends, and we had a blast! We all heartily…read morerecommend trying it out. For those not familiar with escape rooms, the premise is simple. You get locked in a room for an hour and work together to solve a variety of puzzles within an hour in order to escape. I don't want to say too much about the puzzles, cause you'll want to experience them for yourself, but there were locks and keys and codes and all sorts of clever devices. There is also a television mounted on the wall that shows how much time you have left, and allows the folks running the show to provide the occasional hint if everyone is totally stumped (a facilitator watches you from behind a one-way window). Having never done an escape room before, this kind of surprised me, but after being in there for 20 minutes it totally made sense to me. It also added some levity. Escape rooms are new to Lincoln, and at the time of this review The Escape Room is less than a month old. There were a few minor kinks in the room, but we had so much fun that it didn't adversely affect our experience. Also, the folks at The Escape Room offered us a free escape experience at a later date, which we gladly accepted. Looking forward to coming back!

They were very informative and comforting towards inexperienced and/or scared players. The entrance and feel of the business was spot on for ambience and the extra board games and misc were great. I'd definitely recommend especially the Antarctic Investigation board game. The room and experience itself was exciting! Definitely was hard at times but kept your attention and was great fun. It also paid homage to the "Strangers Things" show in an awesome way! I'd definitely recommend that room 10/10 except that there were some obvious mechanics that could be messed with by players that would ruin the room play so I highly suggest hiding them better. Also, some live wiring and cords were too visible and easily accessible that immature or naughty players would definitely mess with so I'd suggest some way to fix that issue so they don't ruin it for others or cause the business issues. Other than that, it met all my expectations and hopes. Hats off to them!!

Day of the event, doors locked and no one answering the phone or responding to email. After 45 minutes of waiting we had to scramble to find another location and call all of our guests. This was beyond an inconvenience!! I wouldn't recommend using their venue to anyone based on this experience.
