I wanted to do something different for a birthday activity and Le Smash was the perfect choice. I really enjoy the concept of the smash rooms and it was totally worth the money. You get to smash TVs, bottles, other electronics, vases, plates, tables, and more. (Note - some of the wine bottles are harder to smash.) The owner is great to work with. We had a party of six and he provided us with baseball bats and a crowbar for smashing. Each of us had our own basket of items that we could smash such as beer bottles, plates, and wine bottles. I really appreciate the concept of the smash room and honestly, would do it again. My issue is that I have paid $963 for a smash session with 5 people. I called in July 18th to make a reservation for a smash party. Booked it for 10 people just to be safe, so I paid the $321. However soon after I hung up the phone I was getting notifications and e-mails from my bank suspecting fraud. I check my account and I was charged the $321 FOUR TIMES. I immediately called back and spoke to the owner who said that something went wrong in her system and she would refund the extra charges. I saw them as pending returns so I assumed that since it was a Friday they would go through by Monday. Nope. They disappeared. For the past few weeks I have called, left a message on the website, and even spoke to the owner on the day of the party. She said she received my message and issued the refunds (again, I assume?). That was July 29th. I had my party, and it was a great time. But again. Almost $1,000 of my own money has been in the pockets of this business since 7/18. It's now 8/8. I still have three charges of $321 on my bank account. So I basically paid for 30 people to have a smash party when I had FIVE. I've held off on writing a Yelp review because I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but at this point I am over it. The fact that I have to continuously call/message and dispute transaction with my bank to get MY OWN MONEY BACK is so ridiculous. Came for my wife's birthday and had a great time. She had maybe a little too good of a time... I might be a little scared of her now... Just kidding. But not really. You get a room to le smash lots of small objects and a few large ones. But the best part is you can bring your own objects from home to let smash, and even get a discount when you do. The 25 minute time allotted may not seem like a lot, but it's plenty. It gets pretty warm and you'll get winded with all le smashing. Owners are friendly and have plenty of safety gear to keep you safe while you smash. Make sure you wear shoes, and bring your own long sleeve shirt and pants if you don't want to wear theirs. You show up, put on your safety gear, grab your preferred means of destruction, and go at it. My son and I particularly liked throwing bottles at the wall, using crowbars, and smashing things with a dead-weight mallet. You can also use bats, sledgehammers, golf clubs.... Interesting idea and overall, pleased we came out! Definitely fun to break and smash things and wear the safety gear, without a doubt. Only really odd thing was how we were greeted. We had an appt and showed up about 10 min early. Stood in lobby for a minute before a guy appeared from the back. He wore sunglasses the entire time, which was odd, but ok whatever. After interacting with him, I started to wonder if he was either a zombie or a robot or maybe both. Imagine a disinterested robot welcoming you to this venue you booked. Then the apathetic explanation of procedure and what to do was surreal. Stephen Hawking had more energy and emotion in his robo-voice. Maybe this guy was hungover? At 4 in the afternoon? Maybe something else (see sunglasses above). It was totally bizarre. A lady was there when we left and she thanked us and things were normal again... until the robot guy said "would you like these stickers" - yes stickers - and then we hurriedly took some and left, before he could steal our souls or something. read more

Some people have given this place low ratings on Groupon and I've seen some comments that were sayjng it wasnt professional. It's a SMASH room... I wouldn't expect it to be professional but the staff is so chill and fun there. Smashing stuff is such an amazing feeling and the music and energy there is a plus. I had the absolute best time during my visit to Le Smash! What a great idea for a bestie group to smash things and get out all the pent up rage/anger! The staff was incredibly friendly and encouraging during our session, played the perfect playlist for breaking stuff and had a wonderful demeanor. After our session was over, I even mistakenly left my billfold, to which I returned to find immediately as the staff had placed it in a secure area. Visited on 01/07/23. Employees were very nice! Definitely a lot of fun and stress relieving! This particular day marked my friend's mother's 2 year death anniversary so this was helpful for her. One of the employees gifted her with a cool pottery piece became she lost her mother back in Dec. the colors just so happened to be the favorite colors of her mom. I had scheduled the day before for a bachelorette party, they called me and asked me to change it because of a sanitation mix-up. I changed our whole schedule around for them, figured they would show more appreciation the next day that I did that for time. Was really disappointed when I first walked in. No greeting really just a guy at the desk with his sunglasses on looking like he didn't want us there or to be there, managed to tell us we had to fill out waivers as he reclined back in his seat. Just a word of warning I paid for the extra smash deal and brought 5 boxes extra that I paid for and a party of 5 we were done well before the hour. Also when we were done sweating in the protective gear we figured we would have to put them aside to be cleaned (especially with the COVID going around) they just had us hang them back up, I do hope they cleaned them. I went here for a girls trip and had an amazing time! You can bring some items from your own home if you want, which we did. Then you pick out your favorite smashing item or even a few. They also have additional items you can choose from to smash! A great time especially with friends or even family. You feel so relaxed after. This place is AMAZING! And I have to say that Nick the owner was so nice. What a great place to go to blow off some steam and just have a good time! I took my almost 13 year old son and we had the best time! HIGHLY recommend for anyone whether it's taking your kiddo or going with a group of friends or significant other or even just yourself to decompress. My son absolutely loved it and said it was the funnest thing he'd ever done and that's what he wants for his bday present. We will definitely be back - several times!
