We went here recently for a work team bonding activity and had a great time. The staff is very helpful giving tips about technique for throwing axes, ninja stars, knives and more. It is definitely harder than it looks! They have some other fun bar games and a variety of drinks and snacks (I was happy to see they had Liquid Death a delicious non alcoholic seltzer). The only issue was that parking is tricky. You can park directly in front of the place or on side streets (I parked at 25th and Leavenworth) but not at the laundromat next door.

How cool!!! You go in and they give you an axe while asking you what beer you want to drink hahaha The Good: We came here on our anniversary for some fun and that we had! The gentleman checking us in was very nice and happy to explain everything to us. Once at the lane (I'm sure there's a fancy technical term for it), he explained all the safety rules to us and gave us some nice tips on how to safely throw the axe without loosing fingers. Being a weekday they were not busy at all, so he gave us plenty of time to figure it out and have a blast here. The Bad: Yet another great experience without any downside - oh hold on: if you've been reading my reviews you know what comes next... No free pizza here either lol The Ugly Truth: If you're looking for something different then dinner and a movie for a boring date night, you need to make sure to put this place on your list! Our anniversary was spent spending a wonderful day together which we finished here and it could not have been any more fun. Between the funny, friendly and informative staff, great atmosphere and all the fun you can handle it sure is a great place to keep visiting

SUCH a fun experience!!!! We made a reservation online but from what it looked like when we arrived, that wasn't totally necessary. Howard on the phone helped me out so much. $20 a person for an hour of throwing. 4 people per lane. They offer beers, seltzer's, and ciders to drink. Such a fun experience and so unique!

Walked in today with no reservations and got in immediately! Simple sign a waiver, get a quick tutorial and run down on safety rules and get to throwing. Pro tip : use more force than you think you need, and keep your wrists straight on the release. There's a specific box you stand in. Two different sized axes to choose from. Away you go! It is pretty loud in here just an FYI. They have 3 different games you can play and dry erase boards to keep score on. They sell a variety of beers, shirts, koozies, and hats. 20 bucks per person for an hour of throwing. We grabbed two beers total and our grand ticket was about 50. The only difficult thing so to speak - it was pretty hard to find it doesn't have a sign that sticks out from the building, so we called to ask where they were and the lady told us we have to enter through the escape room door. Just an FYI.

I went here with my husband and my best friend for my birthday. It was such a good time. It was very open and welcoming. Joe was awesome and explained everything very well and made sure that we knew what we were doing and we're having fun all about doing it Safeway. I will definitely be returning with my kids. They did also have beverages. That you were able to buy from them.

I absolutely love this place. I went last night for an event and it the workers were all extremely friendly and accommodating even during Covid and I had a blast here. Highly recommend going axe throwing!

Axe throwing was always something that my wife and I wanted to do, so we finally got to do it on a…read moredate night a few months back. One important thing to note is that you have to schedule your throwing time beforehand on their website. At the time, they supposedly did not accept walk-ins, but I do not know if that has or will change. Also, closed-toe shoes are required, so leave the sandals at home! The building itself is pretty basic and not a lot of decorating flare (which is fine, because I am here to throw axes). When you arrive, you have to sign the waiver, you have an opportunity to buy food, drink, etc and then you wait for your time to come. Once it is your scheduled time, you are taken back to your lane, giving a demo and overview of the various games and operating rules. After that, you are on your own but our guide was nearby most of the night if we had questions. He was able to answer questions and take food/drink orders. For the menu, they had popcorn and other small snack menu and a selection of canned beers, seltzers, and ciders. Prices were reasonable for the items my wife and I purchased. For the axe-throwing itself, you can reserve by the hour or lane. One hour is $20 per person or $35 for two hours (6 people per lane, includes training prior to starting). You can also rent two lanes for an hour for $200 (up to 12 people) or two hours for $350. There are a variety of games, including a traditional target, a Connect 4 style game, 21, a matching game, and more! Players are given clever names such as "Pain in the Axe" and "Axe Hole". You can also choose to use an axe or throwing star for additional fun or challenge. It's actually a bit more tiring than it seems. The atmosphere was very welcoming and there were plenty of bathrooms and they were clean and had all supplies stocked. Staff was friendly and helpfulWhen we were done, we were taking selfies near the entrance (there is a backdrop and props), and the hostess offered to take our picture. We both had fun and are looking at going back with the kids.

They are able to reset rooms with amazing speed between players and I have had rarely any issues with mistakes when they've been reset. So far, we have done Abraham Lincoln, Batman, and Reindeer Games rooms. My favorite has definitely been Reindeer Games as it's a lighthearted and cute room with tons of puzzles to solve. Batman was a little more difficult if you didn't have much knowledge about it, and Abraham Lincoln has so far been the easiest! Definitely try it out! Overall, I liked the room, however there was one clue/puzzle that really made me annoyed because of technicalities, and you'll know if you do the room. We also found a key that opened a lock box that wasn't meant to be opened with, and that slowed us down a bit because we thought we were missing a key. Staff was great even though the game master kept making some small remarks as we played. I don't particularly like when game masters offer help when we don't ask. If we're messing up, let us cook. We'll ask for a hint when the time and pressure hits.

At one point nothing was supposed to happen and two balls shot out at once and hit my son in the stomach while he was listening to the employee on how to play a particular game we were about to start. He was fine, and the employee was super apologetic. Overall, our food tasted great, and I was shocked with how much the food the street tacos provided. My teenager and I easily shared that platter, and they were delicious. Even with the technical difficulties, we will definitely be back.

You can find most of these games at Dave and Busters. The way their point system for games is set up is weird. Let's say a game is 1.5 points--that means they are taking $1.50 from your game card. Many games were 1.5 points, but there were quite a few that went up to 4. So paying $4 to play one game is outrageous and a rip-off, to say the least. At Dave and Buster's, they have a much better system, and your dollar goes a long way compared to this place. Also, some of the claw machines weren't working properly. People would win a toy, but the door wouldn't open to retrieve it. The staff was walking around, and I let them know. They said they were going to get someone, and we waited for maybe 10 minutes, but nobody showed up. I then decided to go find someone working at the shop, and she helped right away. Maybe we will come back and try the bowling and food, but when it comes to the arcade unfortunately we won't be back for that.
