It was my first time at Le Peep, and it is safe to say I will be back! My best friend and I ordered several things to share and try a bit of everything, and the chilaquiles were an immediate hit. We are both normally very picky on how chilaquiles are prepared, but we destroyed them! The French toast was also light, fluffy, and delicious! Because we didn't have school today, a trio of us teachers decided to get together for some brunch. With the obvious low temps, the crowd inside Le Peep was small, but meant we were seated right away! Our server (I believe his name was Ryan) was fantastic! For my meal, I ultimately decided on the Chicken Fried Chicken with hash browns and over easy eggs. I really like the gravy that they have but wish it has a bit more flavor. My check was cooked perfectly and had a good amount of crunch. The hash browns were soso (I had ordered them extra crispy but they were somewhat underdone in the middle. My real reason for the 4 stars as opposed to the 5 was that I had a weird black piece of thread on my plate under my English muffins and that grossed me out a little because I thought it was hair at first. read more

I tried the location on 120th and Blondo. We were seated and got our drink orders in right away. I tried their salmon avocado toast & egg whites. Le Peep has always been a brunch staple! The service is wonderful and everyone that works there is so friendly and welcoming. I love each of the locations but NorthPark is my favorite. It's so cute in there and love all the windows. Today I had the Down Home Sausage Pie and it was delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection and that Oatmeal Cookie latte was phenomenal! My wife and I have been going to Le Peep for about 11 years. But that has come to an end. Yesterday when we went we were seated and like most breakfast places that are busy there was pleanty of conversation going on so the noise level was tollerable. So within 5 minutes of us being seated one of the staff decided to turn the music level up so high that you had to talk very loud to the person sitting at your table to be heard. I went up to the register to ask if the music could be turned down and the young lady at the register said to me, "We'll see what they say" and that was it. No other explination as to who "they" were. So I returned to my seat and after another 5 minutes nothing was done. I got the attention of a waitress and asked her if she could do something. She mentioned to us that she thought it was way to high as well that she was having a difficult time taking orders. So I returned to the register to ask for my check for the 2 coffee's we were drinking and that they could cancel our order as we were leaving. They said they would find our waitress. The next thing we see is the waitress with our food. We asked for togo boxes and low and behold they finally turn the music down. The story we were told is that the owner told them they had to keep the music up at a high level. I would no longer support or provide a recomendation for Le Peep resturants in Omaha Ne if this is the case. We will find a new place to start a new breakfast tradition for our family. read more

This is my go-to brunch place! The restaurant has a nice feel and is always crowded, so don't be surprised if there's a wait before they seat you. All of the food is delicious. My only negative is that they discontinued the huevos rancheros, which were delicious! read more

We had an okay experience at Le Peep, I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash browns. Eggs were eggs and cooked as I asked. Biscuits and gravy were decent but said "smothered" in gravy on the menu and the amount didn't even cover the biscuits themselves. The hash browns were room temp and didn't have any flavor. My wife had a special coffee and the cinnamon roll which she said was very good. In laws both didn't have complaints but no super high praise. I wouldn't personally go back but my wife enjoys the coffees and things so I'm sure we will be at some point. read more

It is a good restaurant but you have to be cautious about the location you go to. The one off of Blondo and 120th I do not recommended. They have a hard time taking your order correctly and when you bring it to the managers attention she just makes excuses and was not sincere. Just made excuses. Le Peep is a favorite breakfast spot for myself and my kid that keeps us coming back! We usually try to go later to avoid the breakfast rush, which we seemed to accomplish this visit. While our waitress was polite enough, service was a bit on the slow side, considering how very few customers were there at the time. It wasn't too cold this time either, which sometimes is an issue for me at this particular location, so that made our meal even more enjoyable. We usually start our breakfast with the Gooey Buns. How can anyone pass up cinnamon with brown sugar and toasted almonds? This particular order, though, was not their best. It had been overcooked and was difficult to cut and a bit on the dry side. My main course was the Le Petite Toast and it was good! As was my bacon - extra crispy. The French Toast was perfectly cooked and dusted with powdered sugar. We had to wait 10 minutes from when we sat down until we talked to our server despite talking with 2 other servers in our area. It put a bad taste in our mouths initially. The place was moderately busy on a Saturday morning around 9:30 AM. The server was adequate once she showed up. But, it was definitely a low light for the meal. Cinnamon Roll Pancakes - REALLY REALLY GOOD. Their pancakes are sizeable. I had two and was pretty full. Monica had the Pancake of the day -Strawberry Cheesecake. We shared one pancake each and both were delicious. We highly recommend the pancakes because they are filling and their advertised flavors matched or exceeded our expectations. Chill - Overall this place is very low-key. The wait staff brings out pitchers of water and a craft of Coffee (when ordered). Therefore, it is meant for you to indulge for a while and hang out after your meal. We hung out for about 10 minutes after we finished our meal. The two couples beside us finished their meals when we arrived and didn't leave until we left. Therefore, they were just hanging out and enjoying the coffee for at least 60-70 minutes. Pro tip: Tons of parking - therefore, you have a lot of options. However, the later you wait the more difficult it is because the parking lot is shared amongst 5-8 other businesses. Pro tip: There is a back room which has a bit more space for all of their tables and is less noisy. Monica and I sat there and recommend you do as well. Met a friend for an early lunch here and to be honest. I didn't think I would like it. It didn't seem like it would be anything special. Walked in, was seated, took a minute to get our drinks, and the cups at the table for water "looked" a little dirty (they weren't, maybe just a little scratched?). However, I did like that they had pitchers of water at the table for the customers, a lot of natural light coming through the large windows, and space to accommodate large companies as well as create space between different groups. The Chicken Fried Steak was very good. Not only were the green onions a nice color to the plating, but tasted pretty well with the steak and thick country gravy with bits of sausage. The steak was a decent thickness and the breading was perfect. The peasant potatoes were well seasoned and cooked thoroughly. Soft on the inside and crisp enough to hold it's shape when pierced with the fork. I personally would have liked them more crispy/crunchy, but they were fine. And now that I think about it, the scrambled eggs were pretty good too. They were moist, had some nice curdles/swirls, and did not taste like the standard from the liquid eggs fast food restaurants. Overall I had a decent experience, good food, and would recommend this breakfast/brunch place. It has been one of the few breakfast places I would feel comfortable going back to regularly. read more

Who I assume is the manager, checked in with us frequently to let us know the status of our table and was very polite. Our server was very cheerful and managed our big table very well. Service was quick and the food was delicious. Le Peep always delivers on quantity and quality of their food. They have a great menu that's not too big that you get overwhelmed. Overall Le Peep is a very tasty joint to stop in for breakfast or lunch. I'd say brunch or breakfast is preferable. The lunch items are not as grand. You can go for a dessert type breakfast or fairly healthy omelet and veggies. Nice selection of espresso drinks. My biggest complaint would be they over do it with cheese. Make sure to ask for easy on the cheese, unless you want an excessive quantity of cheese. Prices are fairly reasonable with moderate portion sizes. No military discount but if you go often get a punch card. They will give you your drink to go at the end of your meal if you need something to take with you which is nice. Good gluten free choices as well. They might deserve 5 stars but I'm just not there yet with them. read more

Sunday morning about 8:30 AM we went to Le Peep for breakfast. It was the first time that we have gone to a restaurant for breakfast, that was not on the Fox42 Breakfast Tour., so it was a new experience. The Le Peep is located on the corner of the building which gives it two glass walls that provide for a bright interior. I think this makes for a great breakfast environment. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who seated us immediately. Upon seating I noticed that the table was set with a carafe of water with lemon in it, that is a nice touch. It took several minutes for our waitress to come and take our order. When she did come, she was friendly and knowledgeable. We placed our food and coffee order at the same time. I order Expresso coffee and Lois ordered a Christmas Blend coffee. Lois's coffee was delivered within a few minutes, I had to remind the sever when they brought my food that I hadn't received my coffee. I ordered the Desperado which is a skillet filled with Peasant Potatoes, chorizo sausage, green chilies and onions all covered in homemade salsa. Capped with combo cheese and basted eggs, and a English muffin. The combination makes for a unique mouthful of flavor. The Desperado delicious and filling, it is a complete breakfast. I made the mistake of ordering a side of Biscuits 'n' Gravy, which a normal person could call a complete breakfast, with the addition of some bacon or sausage. The Biscuits 'n' Gravy were average at best with little gravy in relation to the biscuit. Lois had a Cheddar Jack Omelet with Peasant Potatoes, and an English muffin. She liked her breakfast. Overall I think this is definitely one of the better breakfast restaurants and I would have given it a higher rating if the service was a little better. Normally I don't order burgers because they give me heartburn due to the grease. However, I was craving one and theirs was awesome and no heartburn!
