Getting the Coffee Passport has helped me discover so many new places, and this week's stop was Stir Coffee Bar. The shop is on the smaller side, but it wasn't too busy on a Saturday morning, and we had no problem finding a table. I noticed several people working on their laptops, so it seems like a great spot to get some work done or just relax with a coffee. I ordered an iced oat milk latte and a cinnamon roll bread pudding. The bread pudding was SO GOOD. I would honestly make the drive just to have that again. They also offer a variety of toasts and pastries if you're looking for something to eat. One thing I always appreciate about coffee shops is when they feature products from other local vendors, and Stir had a nice selection of things like jewelry, mugs, and puzzles. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm glad the Coffee Passport brought me here. I'll definitely be back for that bread pudding! read more

The first time walking in, the overall atmosphere was very calm and quiet, nice relaxing atmosphere. I liked the little gift shop and the cozy couch and chairs. Ordering took me a while because I had never been there and just looking over the menu I was expecting more combinations to choose from but it is very much build your own. I enjoyed the seasonal menu although I did think the tiramisu cold foam was a drink because it was under drinks but it was just a topping. I did get a vanilla latte with the tiramisu cold form and it was DELICIOUS! I would definitely try it again the next time I go. The barista that helped me was very kind and friendly. She helped me make the best selection. The types of milk you can get is Oat, Coconut, whole cream and half and half, I did wish they had a skim milk option but the coconut milk was very good in my latte. My sister ordered a Blueberry Matcha Tea, she enjoyed it and said the blueberry wasn't a strong flavor profile. I would recommend stopping in and getting a drink and having a nice conversation with someone. read more

Shout out to my fellow foodies helping me discover great spots on social media. A TikToker raved about the tiramisu iced coffee from here. She said it was so good, she had to pull over before going home to drink all of it lol. It is on the sweet side, but I love sweet iced coffee. I am happy to report that the tiktoker was not exaggerating. The coffee was just as good as she described it. Sweet, yummy, and strong. The inside of this place is quiet, cute and quaint. It's a great place to hangout, study or work. I will return for the tiramisu coffee. I hope it stays on the menu forever. read more

Saw an Instagram video advertising their seasonal menu-and the blueberry cloud matcha caught my eye. I'm so glad I went to try it, it's now my favorite matcha in town! The mixed berry whipped cream on top is amazing, and they also offer a discount for UNO students! It's a good thing I don't live near here otherwise I'd be getting one of these every single day-they're that good! This place is very cute and perfect for studying/working. The staff member who helped us was very nice. I ordered the iced whipped pistachio nova latte which is a part of their spring menu. I looooove pistachio so much, especially in coffee, but my drink tasted very off. I'm not sure what it was, but I couldn't finish the drink as it was a bit unpalatable, especially the after taste. Stir is such a cute place! I don't live that close but it's always worth the trip. They have lots of seating to post up and work or catch up with friends, and they offer a ton of snack options including sweets from Sweet Mags. I got the fall chai and added espresso. It was delicious- not too sweet and filled with fall flavors like apple and cinnamon. Stopped in for a caramel latte and iced white mocha to go. The barista was friendly and made my drinks as requested. My husband enjoyed his caramel latte. The iced white mocha was perfect as well. The drinks taste like coffee vs too sugary at some coffee shops. This is my 3rd time visiting Stir and I've never been disappointed. The coffee shop is welcoming and cute. Stir coffee is the cutest! I stumbled upon it after getting my lashes done next door. Did I need coffee at 4pm? No! But my curiosity simply won't let me pass up a coffee shop. It is a very large space, high ceilings and bright white walls accented by pops of greenery and teal. They have everything on the menu your typical coffee shop offers, with the addition of bakery and "grab n good" food items. I was severely tempted by the avocado toast and will be revisiting just for this. Service was very friendly. Young staff but they knew what they were doing! I ordered a brown sugar espresso and it was delightful. Bright espresso but still rich and flavorful. The cafe has plenty of seating with additional bistro tables outside. I'd suggest the addition some more comfy chairs to complement the couch, but it's not necessarily required. All in all, I was impressed with this cutie place. Next time I'm in the area I'll go out of my way to visit. Stay fab! read more

Love Stir coffee! Whenever I'm out in west Omaha this is my favorite place to grab coffee. The shop is super bright and clean and their specials are always tasty. This time I got an iced honey lavender vanilla latte and it was beautifully balanced. We were in a bit of a rush but they got our coffees out in under 5 minutes which is a win! I've also worked from the coffee shop once before and it was a great spot for that - pretty small (which means it's quieter than other shops!) but with good tables for working alone or with a few others. read more

Surprisingly not yet crowded at 9 a.m. on a Saturday, a friend and I met for coffee at Stir -- we're making it a point to visit a variety out in our western neck of the woods. The staff is very friendly and the coffee offerings are broad. I had a flat white with sugar that was delightful -- sweet, creamy with a lovely hint of brown sugar or caramel. It wasn't a flavored coffee, but it WAS flavorful. I suggest when ordering baked goods you ask for a description, as for me things weren't always what they seemed. The raspberry scone, clearly what it was, and it was delicious. What I thought was a caramel-y pecan coffee cake was instead a bread pudding-ish kind of thing that was, to borrow a phrase from British Bake-off, a bit too stodgy for me. I then got what I thought was basic blueberry coffee cake to go, and when I got home, in different light, it looked very brown -- maybe wheat flour or brown sugar-y? Popped that baby in the microwave for a few secs and it was wonderful. There was a swirl of fruit throughout as well as an icing? swirl that was very nice. I'd get this again! There were other scones available, but I can't try everything on the first visit, right? And by 10 a.m., this place was packed -- and the raspberry scones looked sold out -- so be forewarned! It was cold outside the day of our visit AND cold inside. The center door and open layout leaves patrons vulnerable to a strong breeze on a busy day. But that's what hot coffee is for! Ive had two disappointing experiences at this location. The first time, I ordered two s'mores lattes to go. Both had almost no flavor. The second time, I ordered curbside pickup because I have a newborn. I arrived and called multiple times with no answer. When I went inside, the ticket was still sitting in the printer even though it was already past the pickup time. When my drinks were finally made, I was given two mediums instead of the medium and large I ordered. When I pointed it out, the two employees looked annoyed. They took the wrong drink back, poured it into a larger cup, and added more milk, ignoring my request to add it cold. There was no apology or acknowledgment at any point. The interaction felt rude and dismissive. I ultimately returned the coffees and asked for a refund. Between incorrect orders and poor customer service, I won't be returning. read more

Super cute inside of Stir! I love the seating and the artwork. It was pretty busy on a Saturday morning when I had been there and I don't think there was much open seating. The barista at the counter was very kind and helped me figure out what drink to get. I liked my coffee, but I felt like it had a lot of milk rather than espresso. After a stroll in the Legacy Farmers Market, I wondered on over to Stir Coffee Bar and was instantly amazed. Everything inside is so pretty with a cute homemade gifts section and a lot of comfortable seating - nice for students or work from home folks. The girls behind the desk were so nice and helped us with all of our questions! The best part was the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding! Yes, cinnamon rolls in bread pudding. Absolutely to die for!! You walk in and there is an instant calm, ease, and peace that you're met with. I stopped in for a quick meeting with a friend, it was a cold day and a cup of tea sounded delightful. My favorite tea they have is a tropical citrus tea and it's the perfect blend of warming you, while your taste buds escape to a warm place. It was a little on the bitter side, as far as cold brew goes, but it was still refreshing. My mom and I also split the hummus, which was very good. This place was so comfortable to sit and sip. I loved the gourmet toast with fig pear jelly and thinly sliced apples and mozzarella pearls. It was the perfect combination. I can't wait to go back.
