I'm a big fan of the original M&C location, and was delighted to learn of this one further west. They've done a good job of replicating the vibe of the old house on 33rd st, while also using the larger space well. And the coffee is just as good. I love that they'll give you a free cup of coffee with a purchase of beans. Why doesn't every roaster do this??

Vanilla date iced coffee

I really loved the clean and warm atmosphere! There are loads on plants around the establishment allowing for warmth and freshness. The workers were so sweet and had great recommendations for coffee flavors and allowed me to expand my palate!

Cute shop! I can't say little, there's a huge seating area. I was confused on how to enter the coffee shop. This was my first time here and I had no idea it was actually INSIDE the music conservatory. The coffee shop door is the same door for the music center. The menus are hand held and you can decide when you order. They have plenty of seasonal specials. I was really excited to try this place because it advertised lots of gluten free foods and they were right! I loved the gluten free oatmeal date cookie. I also loved my vanilla date latte. It can get pretty busy so please be patient with the staff. The prices were very fair. Great coffee!

Super cute coffee shop tucked away behind the music conservatory! I stopped in on my way to work and got an iced vanilla latte. The woman who was working that morning was very kind and talked to me a bit about what I look for in a go-to cafe. She also mentioned how they use local ingredients when possible and no refined sweeteners in their drinks, which I thought was cool. My latte was really good, even after sitting in the car for a while! It wasn't too sweet or too bitter and was just creamy enough for my liking. They are not the cheapest, but I understand that high quality ingredients cost more. It may not be my go to because of that, but definitely a treat. They had some local goodies and merch for sale as well. There is a lot of space and seating inside, so it seems like a great place to hang out or get work done. I really liked the atmosphere at this location, which I wasn't necessarily expecting since it is attached to the conservatory.

Grapefruit elderflower espresso tonic

Another great Myrtle and Cypress location! The entrance was easy to find and easy to access, the coffee shop itself is really large and so many areas to sit. The barista was fabulous, she was kind and helpful and got my drink out to me quickly. I love that they have espresso tonics, those are my favorite drink here! They had an orange one last summer that was one of my favorite drinks of the season. This year's is a grapefruit elderflower tonic, which was also fabulous. I could taste the grapefruit over the elderflower, which is great for me because I love a citrus profile. I liked the inside of this location, the seating was expansive, the couches looked comfy, and plenty of table space to work or chat. They have a baby grand piano inside, it was the perfect little addition! Lots of treat options and pay-what-you-can flowers, both fresh and dried. I highly recommend checking this locale out!

This location, the 2nd for Myrtle & Cypress, brings so much of what we all love from the OG coffee house in Gifford park. They made the wide open, hard surface lobby into something truly cozy and warm. It is bright, welcoming, and a great space for lingering. The addition of plants (in very cool planter boxes), velvety curtains, varied seating options, books and games and toys go a long way in making the space feel so inviting. If you haven't yet made it to their original location, you may not know they roast their own beans. Any cup of coffee will prove to be delightful here. They carry Artemis teas for the tea lovers among us, and you'd be remiss to not try it alongside some local honey while you're here. M&C consistently produces high quality goods - from bakery items that are allergy-friendly, to Omaha's first air roasted coffee, to their to-die-for avocado toast. But even better than all of that, they work really hard to build a truly hospitable and kind and knowledgeable team. That's a BIG deal in the service industry, and it truly just makes the whole space better.

What a great coffee shop! The baristas are always friendly and the drinks are amazing. I love how they make house made syrups that are all natural with amazing ingredients! The seasonal drinks they offer are so unique and good. My personal favorite drink to get is the iced vanilla date honey latte. 10/10! I recommend checking this place out if you have not.

I paid just a little over $9 for both items. I couldn't believe it! I wish this was a place where I can just sit and take in the smells as I enjoy my coffee, but there is no seating as this is more of an actual store that also serves coffee. However, that won't stop me from being a regular visitor!

The decor is minimal but I loved the different gold mirrors. When I ordered the cashier at the counter was all smiles and just a delight to talk to, she was super friendly. I ordered a flight so I was able to sample for different signature flavors. My favorite was the Midnight Coconut and Crème Brûlée. There are three flavors of smoothies to choose from: mango, wild berry, and strawberry. The Crescent Brûlée is a blend of caramel and vanilla, topped with whipped cream and a burnt sugar top. Both of the drinks we had tasted good. I'm not a big smoothie person--in fact, this is my first time ordering a smoothie in a long time--and I was very pleased with it. It was very smooth. Their menu is pretty extensive, in my opinion: coffee, tea, matcha, seasonal lattes, energy drinks, as well as some pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I also appreciated how easy it was to read their menu. I feel like a lot of the time in coffee shops, their menus are all over the place and you have to ask a lot of questions. This menu was nicely written. The shop has a very welcoming vibe, with different plants and displays. They also sell a few different things, such as clothes, sage, stickers, and different stones. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this coffee shop, and I will definitely be back.

The location on 204th Street in Gretna is clean, open, inviting ... but noisy. It's one of those warehouse-type settings where you really have to work at having a private conversation. Seating is expecially comfortable in the big chairs, but then you have to schootch them close together and lean in so you can hear each other, which is unfortunate. Granted, tables are set far apart, but this should be in addition to. Coffee was delicious, but the beignet bites were just so-so. Granted, one should not expect New Orleans beignets outside of New Orleans, but these little donut puffs had only a light dusting of powdered sugar (which I actually was thankful for because I wore black pants!), and there was a not-overly-pleasant surprise inside with an indistinguishable creamy substance that was sort of like the inside of a brown sugar cinnamon poptart, only less so. I hadn't been expecting that. The yogurt parfait was substantial and delicious. (The staff was friendly and helpful when making selections, but it didn't occur to me to ask about fillings.) I might visit again, but maybe at one of the other locations, if acoustics were more promising.
