    Gingerbread Latte (Hot)
    Marissa S.

The first thing I noticed was just how friendly and approachable the staff was even before I ordered. I've been here once before and it was the same experience. They always are excited to talk about how great their coffee is when I ask which one their prefer when I'm stuck between two great sounding coffees. I love the seating and space to sit down. multiple seating and table options. The Stardust S'mores was good! I would have preferred it to be a little sweeter though. The seasonal Gingerbread Latte was very good and packed with flavor! The sunrise breakfast sandwich was great! I loved it but my husband said it's more of an acquired taste and I'd have to agree. The egg is more of a hard boil type (which I enjoy but it's not for everyone). All around I will certainly be back for their crepes (they only sell on the weekends).

Service was amazing. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the ladies there were nothing but kind. They have a lot of goodies for sale such as crystals, clothing, and mugs. We ordered some of the signature lattes as well as their seasonal Valentine's Day menu. The drinks were delicious. I especially loved the smores latte. There is plenty of seating inside and this place even has a drive thru if you're not feeling up for going inside or you're in a rush as they are speedy. The inside is gorgeous with beautiful antique framed mirrors. I look forward to trying more of their drinks!

I absolutely loved the space- the array of crystals and different things for sale was fun to look at while we waited. I ordered an iced Apple Crisp latte with maple cold foam. It was a good latte overall, but I was really hoping for a stronger apple flavor. It tasted like a very sweet latte with some cinnamon, but no particular flavor stood out, which was unfortunate. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and it was okay. The egg turned out to be a hard boiled egg like smashed onto the sandwich, so the texture of both the yolk and the white stood out a lot and made it kind of strange. It wasn't bad enough to not finish, but I definitely wouldn't order it again. It's just not what you would expect for a breakfast sandwich.

Lovely coffee and other drinks. A good selection of seasonal delights, and the pastries are sooo delicious! Always friendly and courteous service, and the tables are very thoughtfully arranged, with plenty of comfy seating options for both small groups or individuals, and even a larger meeting room. One of the restrooms is quite nicely done, but I wish either or both of them had a hook or two for purses/bags. Especially the restroom with the baby changing table.

Very cute coffee shop with a great vibe and fun festive latte flavors. It's a bit of a jaunt from my regular stomping grounds but a really neat spot to visit if you're in the area (and can figure out the hours... I tried a couple times before making it work out).

Food: Arnold Palmer: it was good, a little bitter but not bad! Crescent brûlée: a very sweet latte but it was very good, I got it with oat milk and it was a fun drink to try! Turkey pesto toastie (with egg): a good idea but very VERY pesto forward. It was a little over overpowering. I also got the egg added on for $1 but it was just a hard boiled egg smushed into the sandwich. It wasn't a bad sandwich but it wasn't the best for $9. The service was amazing, the workers were very friendly and kind. I appreciated the recommendations that I was given! The shop itself is SO ADORABLE! It has amazing seating, plenty of areas to set up and do work on a laptop and they have a little crystal shop set up inside as well!! So fun! Overall I loved this coffee shop and I think it's a super cute place!

I've been following Moon Hollow Coffee on Facebook for years--even considered making the drive out to Blair just to try it. So when I heard they were opening an Omaha location, I was thrilled (even if it's still a bit of a jaunt from southwest Omaha). I had to try the crème brûlée latte--and ordered it iced, of course. It was good! Sweet, smooth, and lived up to the hype. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by all the crystals on display. I hadn't realized that was part of their brand, but I ended up picking up a few to support them locally. The menu had lots of fun options, so I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I'm in the area again!

I LOVE this coffee from moon hollow! I've gotten the Crescent Brûlée coffee a few times now and it's always just what I want! Pleasantly sweet but not overpoweringly so (at least to my taste buds). The shop is adorable, I really enjoy looking through the products in the front of the store while I wait for my coffee. Great spot to sit and chat with friends or pick up some coffee to go.

Moon hollow was great! The crepe was the perfect mixture of sweet and savory, and hit the spot! Very cool atmosphere, and the baristas were extremely helpful and courteous!

Love the environment here. So cosy and quiet, plus, they have great coffee! I had the midnight coconut- just to try something different, and a sandwich and they're both very yummy! The food and the coffee is served quickly even when they have drive thru orders. Thanks for the great service and food!

This place was very cute! They had a number of specials at this location with even more seasonal drinks and I loved the variety. The girl who helped me was very nice and my drink came out quickly. Will come back to this place!

I can't speak for their food but we ordered a hot coconut latte and an iced lavender latte. Both were fine but way too much syrup. What was disappointing was that oat milk was an additional $1.50 charge. I opted out of the oat milk and still the bill was $14 for 2 medium size coffees. Too pricey for me.

Fun coffee shop we never would have known about if it wasn't for the "Omaha Places Passport"! It was super cute inside, plenty of seating, they also have a party room you can rent out, and a drive thru! We didn't order and any food, but the drinks were yummy, I had an iced "Crescent Brûlée" and my mom had a hot mocha! Drinks came out quick, and correctly!

I ordered the build-your-own breakfast sandwich and went with one of their listed favorites: an asiago bagel with egg, cheese, and pork sausage. It was good, but at around $10, it felt a little pricey for what you get. For my beverage, I ordered the maple chai, which I was excited about, but unfortunately the flavor fell a bit flat and didn't really taste like maple or chai. I love the mission and atmosphere, and I'm glad it exists in Omaha, but I'm not sure I'd go back based on my experience. That said, given how busy it was, it could've just been an off day for me.

My friend and I both ordered the brown sugar milk teas, barbecue chicken bun, and the chicken soup dumplings. We order at the kiosk or at the front desk and then seat ourselves. The food came out relatively fast. I liked the brown sugar milk tea boba, as it was tea forward, which I enjoyed. It was not overly sweet. I wish I could taste the brown sugar aspect more though. The barbecue chicken bun was decent overall, but I felt like the outside dough could have been softer. It felt a bit dry and not as fresh as I would've liked. The inside chicken seemed pretty well flavored. As far as the chicken soup dumplings, it was overall well flavored with the spicy chili oil and soy ginger sauce. Unfortunately, they got cold very quickly. Also, I thought that the sauces that we ordered would come on the side, not on top, which was not made clear when ordering. Overall relatively decent flavor for all the food and good pricing.

The location on 204th Street in Gretna is clean, open, inviting ... but noisy. It's one of those warehouse-type settings where you really have to work at having a private conversation. Seating is expecially comfortable in the big chairs, but then you have to schootch them close together and lean in so you can hear each other, which is unfortunate. Granted, tables are set far apart, but this should be in addition to. Coffee was delicious, but the beignet bites were just so-so. Granted, one should not expect New Orleans beignets outside of New Orleans, but these little donut puffs had only a light dusting of powdered sugar (which I actually was thankful for because I wore black pants!), and there was a not-overly-pleasant surprise inside with an indistinguishable creamy substance that was sort of like the inside of a brown sugar cinnamon poptart, only less so. I hadn't been expecting that. The yogurt parfait was substantial and delicious. (The staff was friendly and helpful when making selections, but it didn't occur to me to ask about fillings.) I might visit again, but maybe at one of the other locations, if acoustics were more promising.

Most of the dishes have sausage gravy, and you can't request not to include sausage gravy. Placed and order, server came back to our table to let us know that they can not make anything without sausage gravy if it's included. Makes me wonder if everything is pre-made and just warmed up. So I had to sit while my girlfriend had her breakfast. Update Please don't put words in my mouth. We ordered a latte. If the server chooses the side, the paying customer needs to be notified or asked. I asked it it was possible to have WITHOUT sausage gravy. I was told that was no problem. Then that they were unable to remove sausage gravy. I never spoke to you about that, again please don't out words into the customers mouth. I asked to remove the sausage gravy. I DO NOT eat pork. Removing sausage from the gravy would not total remove the pork from the gravy.... Think about how dumb that sounds. I can't believe you, who I did not speak to, would phrase it like that. Again I asked to have without Sausage gravy and the kitchen said no. After that, we noticed the charge for the latte. I said the menu said $5.75 was the small. Why did you charge for the large? Server said he would fix it. Maybe you should have the server reply as he took the order The description on the menu said sliced steak. It was not. If it is designed to be an open faced sandwich, maybe put that on the menu. When I order a sandwich that's what I expect. I was not expecting it to be sauggy to have to use a fork to eat a sandwich. This was our first time here, I did not know it was an open faced Sandwich. Rather than be surprised again and have to refuse food. We went somewhere we know how the food is served without surprises. And if we ask no sausage gravy, they kindly serve without sausage gravy. Having a well trained server could have made all the difference. I also though about ordering something else. I ask what kind of pancake syrup was available, we were told sugar and sugar fee. Picking up the server didn't understand the question, I ordered something else rather than try to get the server to understand what I meant. When I ordered hash browns, the server asked do I want them how it comes, or extra crispy? When I asked how do the hash browns normally come, the server said the "regular" way. I didn't want to make our server feel stupid, because I don't know what the regular way is either, so we went along with it and tried to make the best of it. You on the other hand fail in the area of emotional intelligence and I can't believe you would put words, creating your customers response is beyond anything I could imagine. WOW
