Absolutely love this craft store that allows you to be creative & make one of a kind personal gifts or something for your own home decor!!! The store has plenty of choices for you to choose your craft project & get started right away! The staff are friendly & helpful from beginning to end!! Check the calendar for daily events! We went on open craft night. Fabulous ideas here-from wall art, incentive signs, door hangers, small plant holders, string art & more! I highly recommend going with friends, family or if you want time by yourself this is the place to be to let your creative self out! Everything is clean & there's no shortage of supplies!! I look forward to going back with my nieces. This is great family bonding time & we'll all have something to take home to remember this time together!

Right now- my family is on a health kick. We were looking for places to go that did not involve food and The Makery was a no brainer! We had a ground of various ages and interests- it was awesome that we were all able to bring home a completely different project. The staff was super helpful but not overbearing! They definitely helped our vision come to life. From helping us pick a project, to giving tips to putting on the finishing touches- they truly did it all while still giving us enough privacy to chat and have fun. It is a fantastic place to spend a few hours and very reasonably priced. Leave the mess at home and visit The Makery!

Had an amazing time making a beautiful sunflower to hang on my classroom door welcoming students every day. Staff was so helpful and made it a pleasure to be there!

We made door hangers and had a great experience. We didn't register ahead and they were great about letting us just show up! There were probably 15 other crafters and the three staff members did a great job circulating throughout, offering tips and technique help. Every project looked so different but turned out amazing! The staff use the glue guns and staple gun to complete your project with a bow, rope to hang it and any extras you might have. Tips: you pay at the end unless you register before online, checkout the online sample shapes because they will give you some ideas, Pinterest search some ideas too, they also have samples hanging all around the room. Pros: the staff, quality of product, instruction, variety of supplies and the fact that the staff finalize the project for you Cons: my door hanger ended up being more than what I could buy it for completed but it was fun making it

Took my granddaughter here to do a crafting day, and the employees were awesome! Lindsay was fantastic, and had great ideas to help us with our finished craft. Best place to do crafts here in Omaha, hands down! They have so many door hangers to choose from, all different kinds of signs, string art, and even a succulent bar! You can go back so many different times, to try so many different things, and the employees are always so helpful!

Such an amazing business. Thanks for hosting the Hands On Omaha event this past week!

Awesome new business in West Omaha! The concept is unique and fills a needed niche. Came here for an event and tried string art for the first time. They have all the supplies you need and are very helpful in providing instruction. They are also accommodating: they had printed out many designs for the event for us to choose from, but more than willing to help you with something else you have in mind. They list events on the website and prices are per person. They are open to new ideas, if you have an inspiration you want to try. Can host birthday parties and private events. I will definitely be coming here again to get my crafting on! Sign up for one of the classes today and give it a try!

We had a wonderful time here at the makery doing succulent planters. We did this as a date night for our anniversary. I even signed up to do it again next month with my mom and sister for my mother's birthday! This time we didn't sign up because it was already full by the time we found out about the event! We called to talk with the employees about whether we could come, and they told us we could show up if it was not busy. It is a come and go event. We showed up early and there were plenty of spots open! Only took us about 15 minutes. I will say we arrived within the first 2 hours of the event, and others behind us were disappointed that we had taken the last of some of the planters. If you have a particular item in mind that you want to use if it is unique, show up early! My only suggestion is more interaction from the owner as we were left a bit confused when we started and expected more direction and assistance.

18, and I happily tossed a $5 tip in the jar--honestly, I wish I'd had more cash because the staff was that helpful.

It gives off the modern barn style that is super trendy right now. They had a room for the wedding party to get ready and it was pretty small but still served its purpose. I do like the fact that both the ceremony and the reception were right across from each other so it made it super easy.

I really liked that there were two separate spaces on this floor, so there was a room where people were dancing to loud music, and another room that was quiet, spacious, and well-lit where people could eat and have conversations. I really appreciated that and it definitely added to my enjoyment of the event. The room where we ate was rather plain (still really nice). The other room was unique and beautiful, and has a patio. A downside is that there is a separate event space downstairs, and if something loud is going on down there you might hear it (and feel the floor vibrate). So that could be really problematic for some events. I also have a complaint about the bathroom. It is quite narrow and cramped. The ladies' room has 5 stalls, which honestly is not enough for a large event, especially since there are only a couple sinks and not a space for a larger mirror. Also - a HUGE peeve of mine - the doors of most of the stalls hang in a closed position, so to see if they are occupied you have to bend over to check if feet are there, in this very narrow space. It's not cool at all, and it's really annoying because the latches are designed in such a way that with a small amount of extra thought put in, they could indicate if the stall is occupied or empty. The building overall has been renovated so nicely and someone really dropped the ball on this aspect. It is a really lovely space, the event was enjoyable. I DEFINITELY appreciated not having to yell to have a conversation; this makes the venue a great place and accessible to groups that include guests who don't want to spend an entire event in a loud room.

We walked up to the bar, the bartender came over to us put his hands on the bar & just stared at us getting our purses off, putting them down, sitting down, etc. I didn't have a menu in front or close of me, so I had to ask my friend to pass me one from further down the bar, again the bartender was right in front of us, hasn't said a word, didn't hand us menus, bring water, etc. we took out our Omaha Passport Martini books and the first thing he finally says to us is "oh you have the passports", and we were like oh yes, then he flips open my menu and goes here's your options and points to the martini section. I asked for anything mocktail martini and my friend got one on the menu and didn't finish it. I can't remember the name but it was orange, like nyquill and tasted really bad. My mocktail was good, nothing special! We paid and left. Definitely wasn't welcoming & didn't feel like we needed to stay any longer or order any additional food or drinks!
