Great neighborhood bar atmosphere. The owner is personable and people are nice. Had a good time every time I stopped in.

That is until recently. I had the misfortune of being served by one of the most rude and unprofessional and unfriendly bartenders I have ever met. At first I assumed she was having a bad day, but I was informed that was not the case by another patron, that was just "how Jessie is". Well I find it extremely unprofessional to look a customer in the eye and tell them that they "won't get the same service because they are not a regular ". If I was that person, I would never go back to Blind Dave's ever again and I would tell everyone I know about her. Also, I can get a drink from all the other bartenders at one price but she charges me $1.50 more AND her pours are horrible. There is almost no alcohol in a mixed drink. I am very aware of how much goes in a mixed drink. She has no customer service skills whatsoever. The way she talks to certain customers is absolutely appalling and shouldn't be tolerated. I have heard a lot of complaints from other patrons about her as well. The last time I was in Blind Dave's, I actually watched no less than 6 regulars walk out when she came on shift. That's lost revenue for Dave and as a business owner, I would be concerned if I was loosing customers and revenue. I enjoy going to Blind Dave's because of the atmosphere and especially the service. The ladies have always been great, BUT I have no problem saying that I will never have another drink on Jessie's shift again, I will take my business elsewhere.

I just had Report In at Junkstock. WOW I was aware of their on-the-road game!…read more My favorite thing at Report In (besides they're awesome bloody mary's) is the steak bites. Perfectly seasoned and so tender and juicy! It's like getting and amazing steak, and they cut it for you like my mom used it. This was seriously 5/5 stars. I even had my mom try it and she ate the whole thing (she said she wasn't hungry, sure we've all said that) The waffle fries were crisp and tasty, not soggy and unflavored. They did great for being out at a festival. If you see them out and about I highly recommend.

I recently pulled up with three friends and it was midafternoon on a Saturday during college football season. The hometown Huskers were not playing so we found a spot with no issue, but still a decent crowd so the place was buzzing which we were glad to see. There are plenty of TVs to catch the games you need to see which kept everyone happy, but what was even better was how quickly our server greeted us and then returned with beers, cocktails and waters to kick off the day. Next we ordered a smattering of food and I think we tried just about every appetizer on the menu and I'm thrilled to report, they were all well prepared and the perfect portions. The best way to describe it would be elevated bar food that you can tell was thoughtfully planned and the kitchen prepared with extra love. We truly enjoyed every option, but if I personally had to choose standouts, it would be the steak tip bites and that delicious horseradish cream dipping sauce, the Gouda Mac & cheese bites, the nachos and the sliders, which luckily there were four, or there very easily could have been a death match for the right to take the last one because none of us would have wanted to cut it in half. Sure sharing is caring, but not when it comes to these sliders Of course when people think Report In Pub, the first thing that comes to mind is the Bloody Mary. I can see why they are known for these and how they would consistently be voted Best of Omaha --the giant Bloody Mary is ultimately the base for the tower of food rising out of the center, featuring bacons, pickled items, a slider and more. Unfortunately for me there is not enough Pepto or Prilosec that would allow me to safely attempt to take on one of those without ruining my entire week, but man I wish I could. They look amazing and it was cool watching from afar as they were delivered to tables either as solo missions or for a tag team effort. In closing, this place is simply awesome. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. The drinks were good too, but the only issue we had was a bit of sticker shock on some of the pricing on the drinks so if on a budget, might want to make sure you don't assume the drink prices match the rest of the menu... but still we had a blast! The staff was super fun, friendly and I'm happy to report that I have been back numerous times since.

Good food, great service, Midwest ambiance…read more My husband and I went this past Sunday and really enjoyed it! Wings - 9/10. We tried 6 different flavors and they were all really good! I wasn't a fan of the garlic butter Parmesan one due to the small cheese chunks, but loved the all the rest (medium, hot, spicy garlic, GGQ, Cajun dry rub) Crispy and very saucy. They were also a decent size. Good sauce, flavor, texture, and size. What more can you ask for?? Also each flavor has to be a minimum of 5 wings. Sunday special - $0.99 wings! Burger 4/10. The burger was okay - nothing special, but the patty size was decent so we liked that. Could see ourselves getting it again if we were looking for the protein, but I go here specifically for the burger. Not much flavor. Service - 10/10. Our waitress was the best we've seen in a while. COVID really ruined the service in Omaha so it was refreshing to see a sense of urgency and checking up on us multiple times without it being intrusive or annoying. She was very kind, attentive, and tried to make small talk with us. It was sweet. My husband is very particular with his tipping, and this is the first time in a while (if ever?) I've ever seen him tip 30%! Ambiance - It's an older restaurant that's been here for years. Nothing fancy, but they had multiple football games playing on all their tvs and good food. Friendly service and even the customers felt very wholesome and talked to us here and there. This restaurant is a casual, warm, Nebraska hug. We're definitely coming back!
