This is not as "horrible" as everyone is making it seem. It's a dive bar and it is typical of any dive bar. The service is slow but if you walk up to the bar and remind them you are waiting you can get you order. I don't know about the other comments on here but I would say don't go here if you want more than a dive bar, go some other place. read more

Very poor management! Not clean! Food made my friends and I sick! Glasses not clean. Bar extremely dirty. I saw a mouse on the floor and flies buzzing around the bar and in my friend's drink. Gross! Yuck! Absolutely disgusting! I also saw very very bad reviews including police busts for assaults and drugs. They fired the nice security guard named Syck. He was a big guy and so friendly, he made me want to come back, but not now. Not with all the problems. Too dangerous for our health and afraid of the drugs and fighting. My friends and I may end up getting hurt or worse shot and killed. It's not worth it. The food is gross too! read more

This bar is disgusting and the staff is beyond rude. Every employee was drunk and did not want to be bothered with serving customers! My friends and I walked out before finishing our first drinks. Came into this place while traveling for work. This place is downright horrible. The staff is as rude as they come and the owners are despicable. Drinks are awful and the bartenders don't know what they are doing. The female owner demands drinks and demeans her staff. I don't think they have food, and if they did, I certainly wouldn't trust them to make it. Stay away!! read more

This is the worst of the worst bar I've ever been to, it is a dive bar emphasis on dive & it is still the worst of the worst bars there is. I am a U.S. MARINE & I've been all over the country & the world & I love to support VET own & operated businesses but my first time at this bar was my last & I let all my fellow comrades & brothers I know active military & vets know if they are ever in the area of this bar they don't want to go there & should avoid it. It's dirty, you have to wait forever to place your order & then wait forever to get your order & the staff especially the owners & the manger attitude is the worst & they drink while working as much as the customers do if not more. Because of the owners attitude especially the husband & the manager & strictly for their safety I strongly reccomend & discourage any of my military friends & others I know from going to this bar. read more

A long overdue review. We were in O'Face a few years back. The place was dead, yet we still had to wait because the bartender was in a heated argument with someone sitting at the bar. After she graciously acknowledged that we were waiting for her service, she approached us like we were interrupting her, and we didn't deserve her attention. The place looked downright disgusting, so I chose a bottle of beer to avoid sickness or disease. The place was cold, dirty, and downright depressing. We decided one drink was all we could handle, and left about 30 minutes later. We would never return or recommend this place to anyone. We would highly encourage others to look elsewhere. This place was deplorable. The service sucked, the employees only wanted to hang around the bar and not wait on anyone. When they did it was like you were bothering them, very rude. And the drinks were horrible! This place has great specials a dj 7 nights a week karaoke the staff was very friendly and helpful and attentive the drinks where good the food was good service was quick I would definitely go back and also recommend people go and check it out! I can't speak on other people's opinions or reviews but it is definitely not the way people portray it to be. read more

When I was there, there was No food available. I tried to order drinks for me and my brother but the staff was too busy smoking outside and left the bar vacant for a long time. I tried to complain to the owner but she was so drunk that I had to keep repeating myself because she kept forgetting what I said, before telling me to " leave her the hell alone". I left without seeing anyone working but did pass some girl who looked like she worked there and she thanked me for coming as I walked to my car. She didn't look up but kept playing with her cell phone?? I didn't get served you idiot I kept thinking?? Then the drunk owner came out saying I left without paying.....I said I didn't order anything and didn't even speak to a server. It was then that I was told to "Fuck Off" . I was shocked to hear it was just featured on T.V., but what the hell for ?? This place is a scam run by the scum of the scum............Stay FAR, FAR, AWAY!! Why Won't Yelp allow a zero rating?? I was extremely disappointed after reading all of the reviews. I had expected to get into a bar fight, then solicited by a toothless prostitute and neither happened. I went there expecting a good time, instead I received good service by friendly staff. I saw the Bar Rescue show so I decided to go check out the O'face for myself. The bar itself is a bit divey, buy hey I've been in a lot of dive type bars that were actually fun and friendly places. The O'face isn't one of them, it is an absolute disaster! It only took about five minutes for me to see that the owners and the people that work there are just the worst kind of trash. They were actually worse in person than they were on Bar Rescue, which was a hard feat to accomplish but somehow they managed to top themselves. There was constant yelling and arguing by the owners and employees, and the Blonde woman owner that was on the show actually wanted to fight a customer that had complained about the service - unbelievable! If the City leaders of Council Bluffs knows what's best for the town they will throw the owners in jail for multiple offenses and put this stink hole out of business permenately!! Stupid awful bar. dirty, The Worst Customer service I have EVER had, Shame on them. Nasty ass drink. I ordered a mud slide and got a drink with expired cream or 1/2 and 1/2 and served to me with spoiled 1/2. Shame on you. And even the bartender gave me attitude on how the drink was, screw her, I left no tip and spilled my drink as I left. I will never go back and I am disgusted with their establishment. Just moved to town and decided to check this place out despite bar rescue. Looked decent inside and service was typical of any bar.
