I just had Report In at Junkstock. WOW I was aware of their on-the-road game! My favorite thing at Report In (besides they're awesome bloody mary's) is the steak bites. Perfectly seasoned and so tender and juicy! It's like getting and amazing steak, and they cut it for you like my mom used it. This was seriously 5/5 stars. I even had my mom try it and she ate the whole thing (she said she wasn't hungry, sure we've all said that) The waffle fries were crisp and tasty, not soggy and unflavored. Please to report that all the intel I received about the Report in Pub lives up to the hype and I can see why this little unassuming bar, tucked away amongst office buildings, has become an Omaha destination one should experience if they haven't already. I recently pulled up with three friends and it was midafternoon on a Saturday during college football season. The hometown Huskers were not playing so we found a spot with no issue, but still a decent crowd so the place was buzzing which we were glad to see. There are plenty of TVs to catch the games you need to see which kept everyone happy, but what was even better was how quickly our server greeted us and then returned with beers, cocktails and waters to kick off the day. Next we ordered a smattering of food and I think we tried just about every appetizer on the menu and I'm thrilled to report, they were all well prepared and the perfect portions. The best way to describe it would be elevated bar food that you can tell was thoughtfully planned and the kitchen prepared with extra love. We truly enjoyed every option, but if I personally had to choose standouts, it would be the steak tip bites and that delicious horseradish cream dipping sauce, the Gouda Mac & cheese bites, the nachos and the sliders, which luckily there were four, or there very easily could have been a death match for the right to take the last one because none of us would have wanted to cut it in half. Sure sharing is caring, but not when it comes to these sliders Of course when people think Report In Pub, the first thing that comes to mind is the Bloody Mary. I can see why they are known for these and how they would consistently be voted Best of Omaha --the giant Bloody Mary is ultimately the base for the tower of food rising out of the center, featuring bacons, pickled items, a slider and more. Unfortunately for me there is not enough Pepto or Prilosec that would allow me to safely attempt to take on one of those without ruining my entire week, but man I wish I could. They look amazing and it was cool watching from afar as they were delivered to tables either as solo missions or for a tag team effort. In closing, this place is simply awesome. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. The drinks were good too, but the only issue we had was a bit of sticker shock on some of the pricing on the drinks so if on a budget, might want to make sure you don't assume the drink prices match the rest of the menu... but still we had a blast! Come here often for a quick lunch since it is very close to my job. Usually come in around 12-1:30sh. Not very busy unless there's a sporting event going on but I'm sure as the day goes on I wouldn't see why this place wouldn't pick up cause it's freaking awesome! I got 6 wings charred double dipped INSANE flavor. Service is always on point, bartenders are very friendly and efficient. One thing about here is if you love sports they have TV's GALORE! Don't let going to the back scare you because there is plenty of seating in the back as well if the front looks too crowded. It was a little bit hard to find in the plaza. The carry out parking was more than any handicapped parking they did not seem to offer. It's not a really big place. I was all set to order something else until I heard taco Tuesday special- 2 tacos, chips and queso and a margarita. I'm glad I bring my own tequila because just like every where else, they only offer a splash of alcohol. I also ordered a double shot but the gal put that on my SIL's ticket- who doesn't drink. When we told the gal she got snippy and said it was no big deal to get upset over. It wasn't what she said but how she said it. My SIL was not being rude just pointing it out. They were definitely busy so she may have had a lot going on. I love their taco shells. They didn't crumble like other hard shells do. They could provide more queso with the chips and more tequila in the drinks but this is the market we are living in. This is a proper old school American pub. A bar with food. Brunch especially. So tasty. Parking is plentiful, as it's in the middle of a large outdoor mall. It's easy to spot, and once you know it, you can find it again. It's a good bar, reasonably spacious. Serves all the usual drinks. The food surprises. One sees a bar. One tastes some good eats, though. We love their brunch. Taco Tuesday is also great. Fun to spot friends and neighbors there, too. Definitely will return. read more

We had a good time at the Report In Pub. It was busy on a Sunday at around noon. We started with the Gouda Mac n cheese bites. These were the star of the show. Very cheesy inside as some places get dry. The ranch is also solid. I got the chicken fried steak breakfast. It was good, eggs came out as ordered, hash browns were crispy on top, chicken fried steak was decent sized and had good texture. Gravy was decent. Nothing blew me away but it was solid all around. My wife got the classic burger with waffle fries. The waffle fries come seasoned in that kinda orange color which we both really enjoy. She said the burger was solid but not life changing just a good bar burger. It was pretty busy when we arrived but the staff was nice and prompt with refills and taking orders. I really like REPORT IN. I've been here for different meals and the food is always good. Today (May 9) I had brunch. All I have to say is that I would like to get a job in their kitchen so I can learn how they make these phenomenal skillets. I had a Nebraska skillet and the other 3 members of my party had different skillets...fabulous - all of them. AND what's a brunch without a great Bloody Mary! I got the Nebraska Skillet which was good, but couple have been improved with hash browns vs the larger potato chunks in my opinion. I also wish there was a higher ratio of topping to potato's, but I am always looking for more flavoring like that! Someone at my table got the biscuits and gravy meal, which is 100% what I will be getting next time. i tried it and the biscuit texture was perfect, as was the taste of the gravy! Just okay. Tried the steak tips sandwich and it was very dry and bland. Not a single morsel of seasoning not even salt. I asked for no horseradish sauce and paid extra to get blue cheese added and they didn't include it. The waffle fries were the soggiest fries I've ever had in my life. I couldn't even eat them. Thankfully I also tried two tacos a beef and a chicken, so I ate those instead. The tacos were decent but I'm not sure if they were worth the price point. My husband and I decided to go here for a recent Husker game and I LOVED it! It was a great crowd with everyone getting into the game. Loved the red sirens going off anytime Nebraska scored. Service was phenomenal - when we walked in, the place was full, but once we found a seat, someone immediately came and checked on us and our drinks were never empty. The staff even managed to take care of a large wedding party that showed up. I really wanted the large bloody mary, but being that I was driving, didn't think a 36oz cocktail was appropriate - there's always next time! I visited Report In this morning for brunch with my friend's family--it was our first time there, and it seemed like a great spot. Since there were no available tables, we sat at the bar. Everything started off well, but shortly after we ordered, two older men approached us. One of them began making inappropriate comments toward the 19-year-old in our group. We politely let them know she was under 21 and asked them to stop, explaining we were just there to enjoy a peaceful brunch. Despite this, the man continued making comments, and his wife even got involved. We repeatedly asked them to walk away, but the man persisted and even mentioned that he worked at Report In, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. When we tried to move on and place the rest of our order, one of the bartenders said, "Just let it go." We weren't trying to escalate things--just wanted to continue our brunch. Thankfully, the other bartender apologized multiple times and said, "They won't remember this in a few hours," which was upsetting to hear. If the man truly works at Report In, I hope the situation is addressed. Unfortunately, it did not feel like a safe or welcoming environment, which is disappointing because it started off as a great experience. read more

Solid burger spot on West Center Street, I'd always heard good things about this place, and the rumors turned out to be true. This is a total old school Omaha bar/restaurant with friendly service and also decent drinks. I burgers were well cooked and seasoned, with fresh toppings and a nice fresh bun. I even had a special request for a drink (a pickled martini) and while it turned out to be a very bad decision, the bartender tried to make me happy. Beer is more their forte. Now, the Blood Mary was delicious. It was loaded with all kind of munchies and was a little spicy. I loved it. It cost $18 and came with 36 oz. of Bloody Mary, 1/4 lb. slider (which was yummy), wings, onion rings, fried pickle, and bacon. We came here to celebrate my birthday and while there are other places in Omaha that have Bloody Mary's, this was one of the only places open on a weekday. We also shared a variety of foods, including corn nuggets, tacos, fried mushroom, cheese and queso, sliders, and the only dessert on the menu...the Caramel Apple Egg Roll. The food was ok. It's bar food. I liked the sliders best and we all loved the egg roll. We visited in October 2020 so at the height of the pandemic. Skillets, $13, (bacon, sausage, or black beans piled with 2 eggs how you want them and fried potatoes or Hashbrowns. Amazing breakfast, I paid extra for toast $2.50. Coffee $3 and a classic breakfast (eggs, bacon, Hashbrowns) $10. Service is always friendly and fast. Bloody Mary's and Mimosas are ready & waiting too. It is hard to find a good breakfast for $30 and its here! And there is always a game on the TV's. Save me a table! read more

We came here for lunch straight from the airport after arriving to Omaha because we were told they had great Blood Mary's. We all really enjoyed them. It came stacked with a burger, onion rings, chicken wings, bacon, a pickle, and an olive. They will make them spicy for you too! When we come back to Omaha, we will definitely be back for this again. Lots of TVs for the Sports Fan. My husband loved his pork tenderloin sandwich and my chicken quesadilla was very good. The only downer was the waitress who took our order. When we walked in we asked if we were to seat ourselves and she responded, "Yes.".....but she never smiled, even when taking our order. She was sober. The other two ladies working in there seemed pleasant and friendly, but not this waitress. Part of enjoying eating out is the attitude of the people serving you. She definitely didn't reflect that she liked her job,.....or maybe "people." I thought it was sad. The overall atmosphere was okay, a bit loud and dark, but some people love that kind of atmosphere. Let me start with how much I love this place. I've come here dozens of times, I love the fact that they serve Omaha beef, kitchen hours are accommodating for young professionals (late hours), and service is USUALLY pretty good! I cannot believe how poorly we were treated when we last visited. Not only was the bartender short and passive aggressive, but after watching her pour a perfect glass for another customer, she proceeded to continue serving us these sloppy, foamy beers. I watched her purposely pour a foamy glass for my friend 3 times in a row (yes we all know how to pour a beer) this friend in particular has experience behind the bartop. Not only that, but she almost charged me for an extra beer (I only ordered one). This lady single handedly turned a fun night out after work into a disappointing and regrettable experience. I saw a picture of Report Inn's Loaded Grilled Cheese sandwich weeks ago and promised to try it out someday. Well, that was before this quarantine thing happened. Then, today I found out that Report Inn now is offering online food ordering through smartonlineorder.com and gave it a shot. I chose a time to pick it up, a waiter brought my Loaded Grilled Cheese to my car, I returned home and devoured it. The sandwich is made with two over easy eggs, three slices of bacon, hashbrowns, three cheeses, to which I chose to add pickles, onion, and tomato. While I have had egg sandwiches before, this one has to be one of the best yet. It was a little messy being hard to keep it all in one place, but it was delicious. The waffle fries were also on par. My only regret I had was I could not experience the bar itself. But being take out / curbside it seemed as though some renovations were going on inside. I was fortunate to find this place only a few weeks ago. It appears to have a good beer selection which they post new beers to UnTappd which I now follow.
